    • Chad Ollinger, star of the Discovery Channel’s “Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch,” has been charged with murder
    • Already in Las Vegas jail on an unrelated charge, his cellmate was found dead with blunt force injuries in their cell
    • Police allege that the man and Ollinger had a fatal physical altercation

Reality star Chad Ollinger, who appeared on the Discovery Channel’s “Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch,” faces a murder charge after his cellmate was found dead inside a Las Vegas jail, TMZ reported.

According to the Las Vegas Metro Police, corrections officers discovered a male inmate “lying motionless inside a cell” at the Clark County Detention Center while conducting a routine check on December 26 at 11:20 p.m.

The officers observed that the prisoner, who was Ollinger’s cellmate, sustained apparent blunt force injuries. They rendered aid and, when he couldn’t be resuscitated, requested medical personnel to respond. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Ollinger, 41, engaged his cellmate in a physical altercation inside their cell. He was rebooked for open murder.

    Reality Suddenly Gets Real

Ollinger has starred in every season of “Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch,” which premiered in January 2021 and wrapped Season 5 in August. The show follows Ollinger and his father, Duane, as they attempt to uncover what they believe is buried treasure and ancient artifacts beneath their 160‑acre ranch in Utah’s Uintah Basin.

Ollinger has a documented series of arrests across 2024 and 2025. According to TMZ, he was arrested in November 2024 after allegedly running a red light on his motorcycle in front of an unmarked police car and attempting to flee. Officers say he ditched his black Harley‑Davidson and tried escaping on foot before being caught and charged with evading arrest with a vehicle and evading arrest on foot.

He posted bond shortly afterward, but his legal issues continued. In February 2025, he was reportedly arrested near Pampa, Texas, for driving with an invalid license with previous convictions and for speeding more than 10% over the posted limit. He was booked into the Gray County Jail.

On October 27, 2025, Ollinger was jailed again — this time as a fugitive from another state, wanted for an alleged contempt of court matter. It was during this jail stint that his cellmate was found dead.

    [ad_1]

Watch the Discovery Channel’s “Let’s Take It Outside” program this Sunday, Oct. 26, and discover what makes Florida wild

Live Wildly – the Florida non-profit working to help people fall in love with nature – will be featured in the upcoming episode of the Discovery Channel’s “Let’s Take It Outside” program, starring angler and outdoor enthusiast Misty Wells.

The episode will air at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, on the Discovery Channel, and viewers will get the chance to meet two of Live Wildly’s dedicated team members – Senior Director of Conservation Dr. Thomas Eason and Events Producer Michelle Yepez – as they boat across the Florida Keys, catch lobster and discuss what makes Florida’s lands and waters so special. It is also available to watch on demand starting Oct. 26 on Discovery GO and shortly thereafter on Discovery Plus.

“What a blast to explore Florida’s natural areas with Misty Wells,” said Eason. “We not only got the chance to see the amazing and diverse species that call Florida home, but we experienced firsthand why Florida is known as one of the greatest outdoor recreational spots in the world.”

Live Wildly is the official sponsor of the sixth season of “Let’s Take It Outside.” Live Wildly’s work to protect Florida’s lands and waters will be highlighted throughout the season, and viewers will be invited to “Join the Movement” to explore, connect with and protect wild Florida.

“Partnering with the Live Wildly Foundation and its mission is the perfect partnership as we share the same goal to keep Florida wild,” said Wells. “Given the growth and development pressures in Florida, every acre saved for Florida’s future is a win. I am proud to be part of the Live Wildly team and future.”

Along with hosting “Let’s Take It Outside,” Wells also is a Live Wildly Outdoor Adventurist and will be working with Live Wildly to encourage people to get outside and connect with nature.

“Misty’s passion for Florida’s lands and waters makes her the ideal ambassador for this movement to protect nature, bringing new audiences into the fold and inspiring them to care about conservation,” said Live Wildly’s CEO Lisa Shipley. “People protect what they love, and working together, we are helping people fall in love with nature.”

Live Wildly’s mission is the long-term protection of Florida’s lands and waters, starting with a permanently conserved Florida Wildlife Corridor. The Corridor, established in 2021, is an 18-million-acre network of lands and waters stretching from the Everglades to the Panhandle. It not only provides habitat for almost 2,000 different species – including the iconic Florida panther, manatees, and the Gopher tortoise – but also supports more than 100,000 jobs and generates $30 billion in annual revenue through recreation, tourism, agriculture and other industries.

  • Our Most Replayed Parts Of Hayley Williams’ Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party Album

    [ad_1]

We, as many people did, have listened to Hayley Williams’ new album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, on repeat since its release. We can’t even count how many times we kept repeating, basically all of these tracks. This album follows a collection of 17 singles, 16 of which we heard before, and one previously unreleased, ‘Parachute.’ We can go on and on about ‘Parachute,’ but that will have to wait. We love that she put it all in one place so that we can listen to each song back-to-back. We also appreciate the order in which they decided to place the songs.

    Tracklist:

    • ‘Ice In My OJ’
    • ‘Glum’
    • ‘Kill Me’
    • ‘Whim’
    • ‘Mirtazapine’
    • ‘Disappearing Man’
    • ‘Love Me Different’
    • ‘Brotherly Hate’
    • Negative Self Talk’
    • ‘Ego Death At A Bacherloretty Party’
    • ‘Hard’
    • ‘Discovery Channel’
    • ‘True Believer’
    • ‘Zissou’
    • ‘Dream Girl In Shibuya’
    • ‘Blood Bros’
    • ‘I Won’t Quit On You’
    • ‘Parachute’

We have to admit every single track ate with the lyrics. We initially tried making a list and narrowing down which song was our favorite, but we soon realized how difficult it was. Then tried lyrics, but as we said, they were just too good. So, here’s a list of our most replayed parts of the album. Enjoy!

    ‘Ice In My OJ’

Okay, look, there are a couple of parts in this track that had us hitting replay, like her tribute to an old project she was a part of, Mammoth City Messengers. She took that old part of her past self and reinvented it to be a banger with ‘Ice In My OJ.’ But there was one specific part that stood out, which was the chorus. We just love how almost gritty the “I’m in a Band!” part mixed with the “ah” part sounds. It’s just too good. It was such a great choice to open the album.

    Ah, ah-ah-ah, ah (I’m in a band, I’m in a band)
    (I’m in a band, I’m in a band)

    ‘Parachute’

We obviously had to include ‘Parachute’ since it’s the only song that wasn’t included in the original releases, plus it was our most replayed song on the album. Whatever you may think this track is about, we all agree that the track carries all the emotion and hits us with back-to-back punches. The part that just oozed emotion, as well as our favorite part, is the whole second verse. It really surprised us the first time we heard it, and we haven’t stopped singing it with the same emotion Hayley does ever since.

“You told mе you waited for me, you said that you won
Asked me on a plane from Rio, do I ever think of us?
And you were at my wedding, I was broken, you were drunk
You could’ve told me not to do it, I would’ve run, I would’ve run
Tell me what was the moment, you decided to give up
You could’ve told me what you wanted, I would’ve done, I would’ve done
    Anything, I would’ve done anything”

    ‘Zissou’

For ‘Zissou,’ we honestly love the references from the song, such as the inspiration from the song ‘Life On Mars?’ which is featured in the movie The Aquatic Life, specifically with lyrics like “Vem cá, me dá a sua língua.” It also has a reference to Megan The Stallion with the line “Megan called it “Monster Soup“” referring to Megan The Stallion talking about all the hidden stuff in the ocean. Out of all of that, our most replayed part has to be the second verse.

“Keep telling you the water’s fine
    Megan called it “Monster Soup”
But the monsters are you and I
We don’t have anything to lose”

    ‘True Believer’

‘True Believer’ was an immediate hit when it was first released, and for good reasons. Hayley has always been someone who speaks out, whether in her day-to-day life, during interviews, or in her music. She always helps put more eyes and ears on things. This track references racism in the South, religion, hypocrisy, and historical events that are worth knowing about, as well as songs that discuss the same topics. There is so much to take away from this track, but our most replayed part has to be the pre-chorus, specifically with its references to history and ongoing events.

“The South will not rise again
‘Til it’s paid for every sin
    Strange fruit, hard bargain
    Till the roots, Southern Gotham”

    ‘Love Me Different’

‘Love Me Different’ is one of those tracks that we wish were longer; we could’ve listened to three more minutes of this track. Hayley’s voice just sounds so good in this, plus the beat was just so good, especially the sampled parts from Phoenix’s track ‘Fior di Latte.’ Go listen to their song and come back to this one, and you’ll hear it. Now, our favorite part comes from the post-chorus, where she starts off strong and almost angry, then ends the part softly. Plus, the “huh” almost sounds like a sigh, and we just love it.

“And I want someone to love me different
    Huh”

We honestly could go on and on about everything we love about the Ego Death At A Bachorlette Party. We love how the beginning of ‘Mirtazapine’ reminds us of the beginning of Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘ballad of a homeschooled girl,’ or how in ‘Glum,’ Hayley changes her voice until she slows it down with the line “I wonder,” then it’s her actual voice. *Sigh* see! We could go on and on about every track on this album.

But that’s not all, guys, because Hayley Williams has said, and we quote, “we’re not done yet, there’s more,” so please excuse us as we scream. What does Hayley Williams have in store for us? Guess we just have to wait and find out, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled and continue listening to Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

  • Warner Bros. and Paramount Just Met to Discuss a Possible Mega Merger | Entrepreneur

Warner Bros. and Paramount Just Met to Discuss a Possible Mega Merger | Entrepreneur

    [ad_1]

In a meeting that’s shaken the media world, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and Paramount CEO Bob Bakish had lunch at Paramount’s Manhattan headquarters today to discuss a possible merger, according to multiple sources.

Zaslav is also said to have met with Shari Redstone (daughter of Sumner), who owns Paramount’s parent company, National Amusements Inc (NAI).

The landmark deal would create a news and entertainment colossus—but there would also be some challenges.

Warner Bros/Paramount would be a “behemoth with an awful lot of debt. There’s no question about it,” William Cohan, Puck News Founding Partner, told Yahoo Finance.

Related: What’s the Deal With These ‘Snowball’ and ‘Avalanche’ Debt Repayment Methods? Here’s How to Know Which One Is Right For You.

    Why the merger?

Paramount Global, known for its movie studio and TV network CBS, has substantial debt ($15 billion) and needs to make a strategic move to compete with monster companies such as Netflix and Disney. Conversely, Warner Bros. Discovery needs to make a big play following its 2022 fusion of Warner Media and Discovery. Under Zaslav’s leadership, the company has been meticulous in cutting costs and making money. For example, its streaming operations have turned profitable. But Warner Bros. Discover is still $43 billion in debt.

According to reports, Warner Bros. Discovery is also in talks with Comcast’s NBCUniversal.

    Stock market reacts

Wall Street did not appear to be impressed with the talks.

Warner Bros. Discovery’s shares ended down 5.7%, falling another 1.4% in after-hours trading. Meanwhile, Paramount’s stock rose initially during the first hours of the news, but dropped 1% by the end of the day.
