Lisa Rinna took aim at Garcelle Beauvais and Denise Richards in her just-released memoir, You Better Believe I’m Going To Talk About It.

As she also shot down the idea that her husband of nearly 29 years, Harry Hamlin, 74, was gay, the 62-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum accused Garcelle, 59, and Denise, 55, of going into the show with agendas, claimed the two of them, along with Sutton Stracke, 54, were “full-blown narcissists,” offered updates on her relationships with her former co-stars, and more.

“[Garcelle] came onto the show with an agenda,” Lisa wrote in her February 24 release. “We mixed like oil and water, and she was firmly on Denise’s side.”

According to Lisa, she was “the Narcissist Hunter of Beverly Hills” because she was “really good at sussing them out.”

“All those women are full-blown narcissists. I’m talking Garcelle, Sutton, and Denise,” she stated. “I was always called a bad friend because I didn’t support these newbies when they first came on the show. But, it was because I found out they were bad dudes. They put on a good show, but on a fundamental level we just did not vibe at all.”

Although Lisa described Denise’s first season with the show, season nine, as “uneventful,” she recalled her ex-co-star entering her sophomore year “on a rampage.”

“I noticed right away she wasn’t being buddy-buddy with me. Maybe she knew she didn’t make much of an impression on her first season? Maybe producers told her she needed to step it up?” she wondered. “Who knows, but that’s when she came at Garcelle, [Erika Jayne], [Kyle Richards], [Dorit Kemsley], and me at her backyard barbecue, saying we were talking about threesomes in front of her kids. She’ll never cop to this, but Denise came in with an agenda, and it pissed me off. I thought it was shady.”

“I realized my relationship with Denise was superficial … When I turned on her after the barbecue fiasco, she gaslit me to no end,” she added.

After confirming that she no longer speaks to Garcelle, describing her as a “huge disappointment,” Lisa said she and Denise briefly reconciled after a close mutual friend of theirs passed away.

“We actually got on a call together, and it was a hopeful moment. Then a couple of days later, we got into it again about something stupid. She took my olive branch and stuck it back in my eye. I haven’t communicated with her since. You’d have to ask her why she would do such a thing. My hypothesis is that she’ll never get over the ‘Oof, you’re so angry,’ comment,” she noted.

Three years after her exit from RHOBH, Lisa isn’t so much as considering a return.

“That is out of the question. I’m done with that,” Lisa told Us Weekly on February 24. “I moved on from that chapter in my life, but it did heal me.”

“I probably should have gone a little sooner. You can always look back and be like, ‘I probably should have gone a year later, a year earlier.’ But no, it happens the way it happens,” she explained. “Your path unfolds the way it’s supposed to. Everything happens for a reason, and I’m grateful for every experience that I’ve had, because doing Housewives made me who I am today.”

After noting that she “made great friends” on the show, saying that they “trauma-bonded” and “had a blast a lot of the time, until we didn’t,” Lisa moved on to her current relationships with her former co-stars.

“I had a fake relationship with [Lisa Vanderpump] then, and I have no relationship with her now,” Lisa revealed to Us Weekly, sharing in her book that their dynamic was “complicated.”

Also in her book, Lisa said her relationship with Kyle was “complicated.”

“Kyle and I have had our ups and downs, but we always end up on our feet. I love Kyle. She’s smart. Very loyal. She has great empathy and cares for people. She’s a great mother. She’s really funny and witty. Kyle is one of the most enjoyable people to spend time with,” she shared.

Lisa also had good things to say about Dorit, 49, confirming that after going “through it,” they’re “good,” and adding that she’s kept in touch with Erika, 54, Eileen Davidson, 66, Diana Jenkins, 53, and Teddi Mellencamp, 44.

“We don’t get to see each other all the time, but she is very special to me,” Lisa said of the latter.

She also “reached out” and “apologized” to Yolanda Hadid, 62, who “accepted” her “I’m sorry” following their Munchausen drama, “made up privately” with Kathy Hilton, 66, and got on good terms with Brandi Glanville, 53.

“We had a horribly tumultuous time, it was not good on any level. But we’ve reconnected over the years in a way that I would have never expected, and we’re friendly now,” she wrote. “Brandi made a real effort to reconnect with me … [And] she reaches out to me quite a bit — I’m happy to talk to her.”

As for who she doesn’t “care to” speak to or about, those honors go to Sutton and Kim Richards, 61.

“I don’t really like to talk about Kim. It’s just not necessary,” she stated.

During another chapter of her book, Lisa addressed gay rumors about Harry, whom she married in 1997 and shares daughters Delilah Belle Hamlin, 27, and Amelia Gray Hamlin, 24, with.

“When you’re a good-looking man in Hollywood with a good sense of style, that adds up to ‘Is he gay?’ Let’s just clear this up one last time, once and for all: Harry’s heterosexual,” Lisa declared. “He is not a gay man in any way, shape, or form, not that there’s anything wrong with that. I had actually never heard those rumors until Housewives. I just figured b*tches will say anything to get my hackles up, so it never concerned me. My reaction was always more, ‘Why you mad, boo?’ Besides, every husband’s sexuality was questioned at some point on that show.”

According to Lisa, Harry’s sexuality was questioned after he played a gay man in the 1982 film Making Love.

“Mainstream films about gay men are still rare today, but back then it was unheard of,” she wrote. “It had never been done. It was way before its time.”

Applauding Harry for making a brave decision, Lisa revealed “it bit him in the a**,” sharing that he “was blacklisted for several years afterward.”

As for the status of their marriage, Lisa said she and Harry “have a great amount of trust.”

“I don’t ever worry about Harry. I am not jealous. he’s not jealous … I would be shocked if I found out he was having an affair,” she admitted.

Kyle Richards confirmed on Amazon Live on Tuesday that she still hasn’t officially returned to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

While addressing a number of Bravo-related rumors, including an ultimatum she allegedly was dealt, and sharing her thoughts on her past and present co-stars, Kyle, 55, confirmed if she is in contact with Dorit Kemsley, 47, and revealed which one-season wonders she felt deserved a second season.

During an April 30 appearance on Amazon Live, after being asked about her potential return for season 14, Kyle stated, “I can’t confirm that right now.”

As for claims of Chelsea Handler, 49, joining the show, which the comedian has denied, Kyle added, “There’s always so many rumors. I really don’t believe that one at all. I would not hold your breath for that one.”

Last month, with the season 14 cast remaining up in the air, it was alleged by the Daily Mail that Kyle had been dealt with an ultimatum from producers: Either showcase what’s really going on with Morgan Wade, 29, or be fired.

“I don’t even know what I’m doing yet, guys, so that can’t be true,” Kyle said of the report.

Looking back at her past and present castmates, Kyle said longtime family friend Faye Resnick, 66, has been asked to return.

“Faye was a cast member, and then I think they asked her again, and she said no,” she shared.

For Kyle, it’s hard to say which season had the best cast. However, she did give a nod to the group from season one, which included Lisa Vanderpump, 63, Adrienne Maloof, 62, Kim Richards, 59, Camille Grammer, 55, and Taylor Armstrong, 52.

“The original cast was amazing … we’ve had so many great people,” she stated.

At the conclusion of RHOBH season 13 earlier this year, Kyle and Dorit’s friendship was strained. And still, months later, they remain estranged.

“I haven’t seen her or spoken to her actually,” Kyle confirmed.

As for who she’s had the most contact with since filming wrapped, Kyle said, “I would say [Sutton Stracke] and [Erika Jayne].”

On the heels of the exits of Annemarie Wiley, 41, and Crystal Kung-Minkoff, 41, Kyle was asked who was most deserving of a second season.

“[Diana Jenkins] and Annemarie,” she replied. “I really liked [Kathyrn Edwards], Diana, and Annemarie. I don’t know, I would’ve liked to see more of them.”

She then addressed her acting career, saying she’s been “taking a break.”

“You know what’s funny, I just had a movie come out recently, and I never even watched it,” she added.

  • Lisa Rinna Dishes on RHOBH Exit, the “One” Supportive Castmate & If She Watches Show, Plus She Talks Sex at 60, Daughters' Reaction to Wild Antics, “[Prostituting]” Herself, & Mom's Death

Lisa Rinna Dishes on RHOBH Exit, the “One” Supportive Castmate & If She Watches Show, Plus She Talks Sex at 60, Daughters' Reaction to Wild Antics, “[Prostituting]” Herself, & Mom's Death

Lisa Rinna has landed on the cover of Cosmopolitan. And in true form, she’s made quite the splash.

In addition to posing in a sparkly sheer jumpsuit, exposing her nipples to readers, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 60, opened up about her sex life with Harry Hamlin, 72, explained how her daughters Delilah Hamlin, 25, and Amelia Hamlin, 22, have reacted to having her as a mom, and admitted to “[prostituting]” herself in the entertainment industry while also looking back on her mom’s death, her Bravo exit, and more.

“I have not always been this in touch with my sexuality at all. I grew up very repressed, like everybody did in the ’60s. It just wasn’t something that nice girls did or talked about or flaunted, especially not in Medford, Oregon, where I was raised,” Lisa admitted in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan.

Even when she first met Harry, Lisa was not the woman people know today.

“Harry is so accepting of who I am and always has been, and so I’ve grown into that. He’s been a supportive partner this whole time, 31 years later … [And] within those 31 years, I had children … And then I had postpartum depression and I completely lost my mojo,” she shared.

While Lisa felt hopeless amid her struggles with postpartum depression, an antidepressant helped tremendously, and a pole dancing class helped her reclaim her mojo.

“That changed everything, because it felt safe,” she explained. “It changed my whole perception and fear about sexuality and expressing yourself. I did it for a good two years, and I don’t think I ever looked back. Then I was just able to really be open, really share it. Harry was thrilled, obviously. I mean, I learned a lot of really good tricks.”

When Lisa was ultimately faced with menopause, she was initially concerned about taking hormones due to a potential breast cancer risk, as the disease runs in her family. But once she saw an Eastern-Western medicine doctor and figured out the right mix that actually protects her from the disease, she began to thrive once again.

“They have been really helpful in my being able to stay feeling good about myself,” she noted. “For me, it’s about finding a way to just be comfortable and not put pressure on myself as to who I am in this moment at 60 years old.”

Although Lisa confessed that she doesn’t “want to have sex every five seconds,” she said she and Harry do their best to make time for one another.

“I think that it’s almost more about companionship and about creating space for the ebb and flow of sexuality. We really have great sex together, and we always have. It’s just that maybe it doesn’t happen quite as often as it did when you’re in your 30s and in your 20s,” she shared.

When Lisa’s Instagram bio was then mentioned, in which she proclaims herself as a “hustler,” she admitted she’s “prostituted [herself] out.”

“I’ve sold my soul; I’ve prostituted myself. I’ve done many things, but at least I know exactly what I’ve done and the price I’ve paid. And come on, we’re all human,” she reasoned.

Throughout the decades she’s spent in entertainment, Lisa has learned not to care about the opinions of others.

“I just don’t give a sh*t about what people think about me, and that has been a tremendous gift that I have learned,” she proclaimed. “Everything that I’ve gone through has brought me to this point where I do not f*cking care what anybody thinks about me. I don’t need your approval.”

That said, she can’t imagine what it’s like for Delilah and Amelia.

“Imagine having me as your mom and opening up your Instagram and I’m, like, dancing or doing some funny thing,” she posed. “I think that if you look at them and you see what they’ve accomplished at such a young age, I don’t think it’s a negative. I think it’s actually a positive, because they see that anything is possible. Like today, my daughter said, ‘Oh my god, Mom, you’re a rock star.’ I was showing her photos from this shoot, and I thought, ‘That’s a cool thing to hear from your 22-year-old.’”

During Lisa’s final season on RHOBH, she was met with the tragic death of her beloved mother, Lois Rinna, which she now says “changed [her] whole life.”

“I lost my mind. I went crazy. I was filming. I was trying to grieve in public. And I went absolutely insane in the process until I removed myself from the situation and was really able to sit and grieve more properly,” she explained, adding that leaving Bravo helped her to properly grieve the loss.

“I would say the therapy was the most helpful and absolutely saved me, as did getting off the show and getting out of that environment so that I could have peace, and so I could just allow myself to be. I had to leave that situation in order to find myself again,” she shared.

On the premiere episode of RHOBH season 13, after speculation regarding a potential firing, Lisa’s exit letter to producers was aired.

“I had no idea. Nobody gave me a heads-up,” Lisa revealed of the scene. “I mean, a week before it aired, somebody sent it to me because Bravo had sent out a preview of the episode. So I thought, ‘Wow, look at that.’ Because, of course, everyone thought I’d been fired. But no, I made that decision.”

Looking back, Lisa said, “It was the right decision to make, at the time.”

“I didn’t regret it when I sent the letter, and I haven’t regretted it since,” she continued.

Following her exit from the show, Lisa quit watching the series.

“I’m not [watching]. I think that when you leave a job that you’ve had for eight years, you have to really disengage, and I had to disengage completely for my own sanity,” she stated. “I have my friends that I talk to, and they will always be my friends, because they became my friends through the show.”

While Lisa certainly gained several friends during her eight years on RHOBH, she said it was Erika Jayne, 52, who supported her when she was the most vulnerable.

“There was one. Erika Jayne was very supportive of me and helped me through that time. Our pain connected us really well at the time,” Lisa revealed, adding, “Diana Jenkins, who came on the show very, very briefly, she also has been a great support.”

In addition to having no regrets about leaving Bravo, Lisa also said she doesn’t regret joining the series to begin with, saying it was one of the “greatest decisions [she’s] ever made.”

“That show brought me so many positives. It was a great thing for me to do at the time, absolutely great. And it was the right time for me to go. I think it served its purpose for both of us, for me and for Bravo. Absolutely,” she declared.

RHOBH Live Viewing – This is also the live viewing thread for tonight’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13, which airs at 8/7c on Bravo. As the episode airs, feel free to post your thoughts below.

  • New Music Friday: Asher Monroe Releases New Chapter In XR Concert

New Music Friday: Asher Monroe Releases New Chapter In XR Concert

    [ad_1]

Asher Monroe is a full-blown triple threat: singer, songwriter, and actor. For years, Monroe has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry to create relatable tracks for his fans. This summer was no different with the release of his dynamic new album, Windows of Time.

Windows of Time gives listeners a peek into Monroe’s personal life. He embraces becoming a new father and explores his passion for family, music, and his relationship with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Diana Jenkins. The 8-track album was released in July, but with Asher’s new extended reality (XR) concert, you can live it all over again.

The XR concert provides an intimate opportunity to watch Asher Monroe perform each track off of
Windows of Time live. The production uses the same technology as Disney’s “The Mandalorian” while incorporating the same team behind Billie Eilish’s Where Do We Go XR. According to Monroe,

“The XR is an incredibly rewarding process from start to finish. From storyboards to hiring a team of top-notch graphic artists over many months of fine-tuning. I didn’t realize I was building my own video game universe where I could live, interact and perform in. I want to inspire other artists of my generation that, with a wild enough imagination…they can do the same!”

    The
Windows of Time XR is released in chapters, with the latest being chapter 3: “A Rose Amidst The Thorns.” Monroe’s detailing of a fight between himself and Jenkins is a testament to his love for her, equally beautiful and shattering. You can watch the XR performance here:

In an exclusive interview with Popdust, Asher Monroe talks his writing process, what’s inspiring him right now, and his future plans:

You wrote “A Rose Amidst the Thorns” after an argument with your wife, Diana Jenkins of RHOBH – how does your relationship affect your writing process?

We all have our muse. Some of my songs like, “Unpredictable ” and “Hurricane ” were all written about her. I would say most artists are strongly influenced by their inner circle and the people that they love. The best material I’ve written comes from real-life experiences.

You’re releasing your Extended Reality Concert in chapters – how does “A Rose Amidst The Thorns” feel different from the others?

“A Rose Amidst the Thorns” has a more intimate feeling than the others. There’s less action and more focus on my interaction with the Rose. I chose an ice cave to represent the harsh winter the Rose has to endure. In a way, it feels like a Broadway piece at times on steroids. Each song has a uniquely different story that caters to different environments. I think the production by Walter Afanaiseiff and the use of extended reality is the thread that keeps each chapter intertwined.

What was different about recording the XR versus a music video?

Everything was different. A lot of times with heavy VFX music videos, there’s a lot of time spent in post, whereas shooting with XR most everything is done in pre-production. I got to record my vocals LIVE on the XR studio stage vs 90-100% of music videos are lip synced. Performing with all the visuals I designed with my graphic artist in real-time on a 180-degree LED wall was so much more rewarding than the traditional style shooting of music videos. I think XR is a cutting-edge technology that will be implemented much more by mainstream artists in the future. We haven’t even scratched the surface of its capabilities.

Is there anything your fans can expect from the next chapters that they haven’t seen yet?

There will be one more final finale yet to come called, “Story of a Bird.” It’s not only my favorite written song on the album but my favorite visual from the XR concert. Not to give too much away, but let’s just say I’ll be handling a Laner Falcon, fighting off a dragon, and dressed as a night with a touch of Balmain.

You quote lines from early-1900s poetry in “A Rose Amidst the Thorns” – are there certain poets or authors you like to pull from? How do you utilize literature and other elements of life in your music?

There was so much literature at the time I was pulling inspiration for “Windows of Time”, but not necessarily one poet in particular. One author I’m reading now who I think is profoundly incredible is Joseph Campbell. Mythology is a subject I’m very much into at the moment. I was never too much into reading until the last few years. It’s a wonderful tool for igniting inspiration and expanding one’s mind. I can’t speak for all artists but the music I make in the moment is pulled from a combination of life experiences that are stored away in my mind and heart that I access like a file but also the current material I ingest using my five senses along with my headspace in that moment. I’ve noticed that each one of my musical projects regarding the sound and lyrics dramatically evolved each time based on where I was at in my life.

Will there be any more live performances in your future?

Yes, of course. I try to conceal things in the making before they come to fruition. What I’ll hint at saying is there’s a prestigious charity event coming up where I’ll be opening up for a female icon who has sold over 100 million records worldwide…That’s all I’ll say for now…

What sort of music is inspiring you right now?

Can I be honest in saying … not much? I listen to current artists every once in a while like Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, or Emeli Sande. In the last 2 years, I haven’t had an artist or song truly
inspire me. I sometimes feel that I’m in the wrong decade – early on in my career I always felt I was behind the trends in playing catch up. Now that I’m doing my own thing and carving my own sound, it either feels I’m too ahead or that my sound is a bit too mature, but the beauty I’m finding is that like an arrow, each one of my songs are organically finding its intended target. My fanbase is all over the map; wide age gap and every ethnicity under the sun. I love it more this way because it doesn’t feel forced.

Do you have any music in the works? Maybe another album?

I always have another album in the works, but I don’t know how long it will take to complete. I write music all the time. As long as the inspiration is still coming, there is always going to be new material… just stay tuned!

You can stream Asher Monroe’s album, Windows of Time, here!
