  • RHOBH’s Denise Richards is Granted Permanent Restraining Order Against Husband Aaron Phypers Following Disturbing Testimony

    Credit: INSTARimages.com

Denise Richards has been granted a permanent restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.

Following a days-long trial last month, during which the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member alleged that Aaron, 53, had abused her on numerous occasions, even giving her several concussions, a judge in Los Angeles’ Superior Court ordered Aaron to stay 100 yards away from her and her workplace until November 7, 2030.

According to Us Weekly, the ruling was made on November 7, and it also banned Aaron from contacting Denise in any way, and from possessing firearms.

After Aaron filed for divorce in July, Denise was granted a temporary restraining order against him.

In her petition, she had written, “Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages.”

Months later, during a trial that began on October 6, Denise went into detail about the alleged abuse she sustained, signaling a May incident in which Aaron allegedly hit her in a hotel room after she underwent surgery.

“[Aaron] smashed me on the top of my head with the palm of his hand while screaming at me repeatedly, ‘Give me your f*cking phone,” she stated. “I was disoriented from the surgery and was fearful he may seriously injure me, especially since I was recovering from a complex surgery, so I gave him my phone.”

Also during the trial, Aaron’s cousin, Kathleen McAllister, who previously worked for Aaron, testified against him, claiming she witnessed him getting physical with his then-wife in January 2022.

“I saw Aaron hit Denise and immediately she had a really bad black eye,” she testified. “I’m literally in shock now to this day about it.”

Meanwhile, Aaron denied claims of abuse, telling Us Weekly, “These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue.”

  • VIDEO: See RHOBH Season 15 Trailer! Kyle Seemingly Admits She’s Bisexual as Dorit Meets With Mauricio! Plus Jennifer Accuses Sutton of Being Selfish, Erika & Dorit Feud, Denise Admits She’s “Afraid” of Aaron, & Rachel Zoe and Amanda Frances Join Cast

Kyle Richards seems to confirm that she’s into both men and women in the just-released trailer for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15.

As Dorit Kemsley, 49, and Mauricio Umansky, 55, are seen at a restaurant, Erika Jayne, 54, goes public with her new boyfriend, John “Shrek” McPhee, and Denise Richards, 54, admits she’s afraid of Aaron Phypers, 53, newbies Rachel Zoe, 54, and Amanda Frances are introduced to the group, Sutton Stracke, 54, butts heads with Jennifer Tilly, 67, and Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 48, questions Kyle, 56, about her personal life.

“Look, I’m a girls’ girl. But in order to be friends, I want to know the information so that I can also be helpful,” Boz tells Kyle as the clip begins.

“Well, why don’t you ask what you really want to ask: I could go Brad; I could go Angelina,” Kyle replies.

Boz then tells her co-star, “I have to know what you want,” and Kyle says, “Someone who likes sex.”

During another moment, Kyle opens up about her ongoing estrangement from Mauricio.

“You need to go out there and do whatever makes you happy,” Erika tells her.

“I’m trying,” Kyle replies as she’s later seen having a tear wiped away by Mau.

Another relationship in turmoil is that of Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58.

“He’s never [texted] me once asking to see the kids,” Dorit tells Mauricio during an outing at a restaurant.

“I’m hearing different stories,” Mau replies.

With her castmates struggling to work through the ends of their marriages, Erika is enjoying the start of her new romance as she makes it “official” with her boyfriend.

“That was a hard launch,” Kyle declares after John is seen on a FaceTime call.

Erika is then seen sitting down with Denise.

“How could you release pictures of your wife naked?” Denise wonders.

    “Are you afraid?” Erika replies.

“Yeah,” Denise, whose estranged husband has been accused of abuse, confirms. “Very.”

While Kyle high-fives Dorit in one scene, all isn’t well between them, as they are later seen engaging in a tense moment during dinner with their castmates.

“You’re lying. And you know what doesn’t lie? The cameras,” Kyle declares.

Meanwhile, speaking to Kathy Hilton, 66, Dorit says, “Those days of me sitting there, grinning and bearing it, swallowing it, taking it, those days are f*cking over.”

Kyle and Dorit are also seen with Erika, who appears to be trying to intervene.

“I’m not gonna stop talking,” Erika tells Dorit.

But Dorit isn’t interested in what Erika has to say and storms off, telling her co-stars, “Go f*ck yourselves.”

As Rachel makes her grand entrance into the group, she reminds viewers, “My name’s Rachel Zoe. You may or may not remember me from Bravo because I’ve lived here before.”

She then accuses someone of being “fake” and playing “both sides” before a scene shows her crying about her failed attempt at a “hot girl summer.”

During their cast trip to Florence, Italy, the group is introduced to Amanda, whom Sutton immediately welcomes.

“To Amanda, our new friend,” she announces amid a meal.

“And Rachel’s our new friend, too,” Boz notes.

“She’s been here a minute, though. I’m new-new,” Amanda fires back.

Although Sutton seems to take a liking to Amanda, not everyone else does.

“Something’s off with this girl,” Erika suspects.

And Boz later tells the newbie, “You are not being clear about your life.”

Once back home, during a chat with her partner, Amanda suspects that one of the women is intimidated by her “because I’m young and successful and I’m not financially dependent on a man, and she outsourced her financial well-being to a man and it didn’t go well.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, Rachel confirms her divorce from Rodger Berman to her two sons, Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11, Boz undergoes surgery and seems to get bad news, and drama erupts between Sutton and Jennifer.

“That’s why Garcelle left: Because it’s always all about Sutton,” Jennifer declares, signaling Garcelle Beauvais, 58, and her March exit from the series.

Denise Richards’ fans received only treats on Halloween from the reality star.

Richards, 54, paid homage to her Playboy past and rocked a black bodysuit with matching ears for a series of photos shared on social media.

The “Wild Things” actress added a pair of white cuffs and a black-and-white bow-tie collar to complete her costume, nearly 20 years after starring on the cover of Playboy magazine.

Richards first posed fully nude for the adult publication in December 2004, only five months after giving birth. She told Jay Leno that her parents and newborn accompanied her on the photo shoot to the Bahamas, where she knew she was in trouble when the stylist provided “no bottoms” for one of the shots.

She added, “Playboy approached me a couple other times and I didn’t do it, and this time I figured I might as well do it before they never approach me again,” she said. “He [Charlie Sheen] was really cool about it and helped me pick out the pictures.”

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star – who was granted a temporary restraining order against Phypers on July 17 amid their ongoing divorce – testified last month against her estranged husband. Richards began crying while recalling multiple allegations of physical and emotional abuse, including a particularly violent event in May.

Richards claimed Phypers got “very volatile” with her at the Four Seasons hotel just hours after the reality TV star had undergone multiple cosmetic surgeries – including a face lift.

Phypers allegedly tried to search through Richards’ devices while she was sleeping, and then allegedly hit her face and damaged a drain in the process.

“That is when I really, really knew that our marriage was over because there’s been physical abuse, but it kept getting worse and worse,” Richards testified. “But the fact that he did that to me five hours after coming out of a seven-hour surgery … made me feel a lot of things. Scared and vulnerable. I couldn’t walk by myself.”

Richards described one instance in which Phypers allegedly grabbed her by her arms while she was recovering from her surgeries.

“He would yell and call me names. Once he found out I was texting another man, he would flip it and call me a cheating w—- and a c— and a lying b—- and he would make it about that. And then he would calm down, and we would be in separate rooms, and he would come back at me and start arguing again.”

“He grabbed my arms,” she claimed. “I was three weeks out of a breast augmentation, lipo and the face lift. I was feeling extremely vulnerable and in pain. I asked him to please stay at the other house with his family. I needed to rest and heal and couldn’t have him around me like that.”

During a hearing last month, Phypers was handcuffed and arrested on spousal abuse charges. After sheriffs escorted Phypers out of the courtroom, officers returned to retrieve his cellphone.

Phypers filed for divorce from Richards on July 7. He cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support from the “Real Housewives” star. Ten days later, Richards’ request for a temporary restraining order was granted.

“Throughout our relationship Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages,” Richards claimed in the documents filed July 16.

“Aaron regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw’ and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help – none of which ever happened. Aaron has caused me at least three concussions.”

Phypers filed a petition Wednesday claiming he’s out of money after Richards allegedly cut off access to their joint bank account and took away his holistic business equipment. He claimed Richards is preventing him from making a living.

“With regard to the OnlyFans page, the money that she receives from it is about $200,000 to $300,000 per month and that income is derived from photographs that I took and to which I hold the intellectual property rights,” Phypers’ petition, obtained by Fox News Digital, says.

“Therefore, it is our joint earnings and not hers alone. I request that I receive half of the OnlyFans income as a property control right.”

According to Phypers, he’s about to be evicted from his home and his utilities have already been shut off. He requested immediate access to $200,000.

The actress showed proof to her Instagram followers, sharing a photo of the uncashed check, tagging Sheen and adding the song “Money” by Pink Floyd.

The reality star wrote in her Instagram story: “Found this during my recent move. I never cashed it, @CharlieSheen. Is it still good?!”

Her post comes days after Sheen said he wrote her a check for a million dollars, claiming she cashed it one month after he gave it to her, much to his surprise and shock, while appearing on the KFC Radio podcast.

Sheen did not clarify when he wrote her the check, noting he forgot if it took place during their marriage or after their divorce.

The “Two and a Half Men” star said it was more of a symbolic gift to her, noting it was most likely for her birthday but couldn’t exactly recall.

Richards’ birthday is Feb. 17, and the check she shared was dated December.

“I mean, I don’t think she’ll be too mad,” he said on his podcast, referring to Richards being upset that he told the story.

“I wrote a check to Denise once for a million dollars on her birthday kind of as a joke, and she kept it not as a joke,” Sheen, who has been sober for nearly eight years, explained.

“And then, like a month later, f—g cashed it,” he added. “Which makes it sting more…”

Fox News Digital hasn’t been able to reach Phypers’ attorney for comment.

Richards was initially granted a temporary restraining order against Phypers in July on allegations of physical and emotional abuse she endured throughout their marriage, including an alleged violent incident around the time he filed for divorce in July.

Richards testified in court last week that Phypers attempted to destroy her reputation during the fallout of their relationship, and at one point, leaked nude photos of the “Wild Things” actress.

“It’s been difficult for my daughters, especially with the naked photos,” Richards, who shares two daughters with ex Charlie Sheen, and one daughter with Phypers, told the judge during Wednesday’s court proceedings. “I’m so embarrassed and shameful as a mom. [My daughter] couldn’t go to church.”

In July, Richards petitioned the court, claiming Phypers stole her computer and “disseminated private information, including nude photographs” to various news outlets. Judge Nicole Bershon ordered that Phypers return the device within 48 hours.

On July 29, the judge forbade Phypers from distributing any “private” or “sensitive information” or any photos of a sexual nature that he may have downloaded from her phone or computer.

“Aaron stole my laptop and sent private text messages he had stolen from my laptop without my permission. Aaron threatened that I would ‘disappear’ if I called the police,” Richards wrote in her petition for a temporary restraining order.

In a statement to People magazine, Phypers denied Richards’ allegations: “I absolutely deny the false allegations that I violated the restraining order or stole Denise’s laptop or cell phones. These claims are not only untrue — they are being weaponized to damage my reputation and distract from the truth.”

During Wednesday’s hearing, Richards’ attorney, Brett Berman, put Phypers in the hot seat.

“How did you obtain [those photos],” he asked, to which Phypers said, “I took pictures with my phone of her phone. This was stuff she was hiding from me. I didn’t think it was private … My wife was cheating on me.”

After Berman asked Phypers how he would feel if the roles were reversed, sensitive photos were released of him, he replied, “If I put it out there, I put it out there.”

Phypers filed for divorce from Richards July 7. He cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support from the “Real Housewives” star. Ten days later, Richards’ request for a temporary restraining order was granted.

At one point during the hearing, Richards pleaded for a tissue and began crying while recalling a particularly abusive event in May. Richards claimed Phypers got “very volatile” with her at the Four Seasons hotel just hours after the reality TV star had undergone multiple cosmetic surgeries – including a face-lift.

In response to the alleged leaked photos that were released of her by Phypers, Richards sent him a video — a part of which was played in court — referring to Phypers as a “narcissist” and detailing multiple instances of alleged physical abuse.

“You were the last person I thought would do that to me,” Richards told Phypers via video recording that was presented in court. “I don’t know why I’m having a hard time with this. Things were bad with Charlie and I, but he never hit below the belt.”

“I told my dad, I just don’t know why I believed you and I loved you, and I really thought you were my soulmate,” she continued. “I never in a million years thought we were getting divorced.”

Richards denied any infidelity, but accused Phypers of stepping out on their marriage.

Phypers has also demanded spousal support and half of the “Real Housewives” star’s OnlyFans income.

Phypers filed a petition Wednesday claiming he’s out of money after Richards allegedly cut off access to their joint bank account and took away his holistic business equipment. He claimed Richards is preventing him from making a living. “With regard to the OnlyFans page, the money that she receives from it is about $200,000 to $300,000 per month and that income is derived from photographs that I took and to which I hold the intellectual property rights,” Phypers’ petition, obtained by Fox News Digital, read. “Therefore, it is our joint earnings and not hers alone. I request that I receive half of the OnlyFans income as a property control right.”

According to Phypers, he’s about to be evicted from the home he’s currently in and his utilities have already been shut off. He requested immediate access to $200,000.

Phypers denied all allegations of mental or physical abuse in a statement at the time.

In court on Wednesday, Phypers again denied all physical abuse allegations. When asked by his attorney if he ever threatened to kill Richards, he said, “No, never.” He later added, “I don’t abuse my wife, no.”

Phypers also testified that Richards’ black eye was self-inflicted. “She said she fell, hit a pole,” Phypers said, adding that Richards had been drinking tequila.

Phypers additionally testified that Richards called him 17 times in less than a week after she was granted the temporary restraining order.

For her part, Richards acknowledged she “called five times because this was after I had seen and heard … the pictures … and hearing about the things he was saying about me in the press I was just so … finding this in itself is so scary for me,” she said, while crying on the stand.

During Monday’s proceedings, Richards described multiple allegations of physical and emotional abuse as she detailed terrifying incidents that left the mother of three fearful for her life.

Phypers allegedly tried to search through Richards’ devices while she was sleeping. He allegedly hit her face and damaged a drain in the process.

“That is when I really, really knew that our marriage was over because there’s been physical abuse, but it kept getting worse and worse,” Richards testified. “But the fact that he did that to me five hours after coming out of a seven-hour surgery … made me feel a lot of things. Scared and vulnerable. I couldn’t walk by myself.

“And the person I looked to as my husband to protect me wasn’t anymore. That’s when I really, really knew there wasn’t going back. To do that to your wife coming out of surgery?

“I felt broken and defeated and so alone and just so vulnerable because I just had an extensive surgery. Him knowing the body and wellness and working on people … and to do that to your wife?”

On Tuesday, Richards took the stand again to detail Phypers’ alleged “manic” behavior throughout their relationship.

Things were bad with Charlie and I, but he never hit below the belt.

“I told my dad, I just don’t know why I believed you and I loved you, and I really thought you were my soulmate,” she continued. “I never in a million years thought we were getting divorced.”

Richards denied any infidelity but accused Phypers of stepping out on their marriage.

“You can claim I cheated, but I didn’t,” she said. “You did do stuff. And I don’t care how long ago it was. The fights were so f—ing bad, especially after your family moved [into their shared home]. I tried my best to not have it be as bad as it was. I tried my hardest. I just could not do that s—show anymore.”

“Aside from hitting me as much as you did and filing a police report … claiming that I hit you in the chest three times and scratched your eye. Like, come on,” she continued. “Low blow. And I get you’re upset that I filed the restraining order, but you hit me one too many f—ing times. Each time was getting worse and worse it was. You were manic,” she alleged.

“You were the one person that I always thought I could trust and that would protect me, and you were the f—ing opposite,” she added. “I think I’m having such a hard time because I was married to someone I never f—ing knew.”

In court documents filed Sept. 29 and obtained by Fox News Digital, Phypers’ lawyers named Richards’ ex, Charlie Sheen, and “RHOBH” alum Brandi Glanville as witnesses.

In the filing, Phypers’ attorneys stated that Sheen could testify regarding “Denise’s history of not being truthful and of drug and alcohol abuse.”

Richards and Sheen tied the knot in 2002 and were married for just under three years before Richards filed for divorce in March 2005, when she was pregnant with their second daughter, Lola. They welcomed their first daughter, Sami, one year prior.

  • Denise Richards testifies on alleged abuse by estranged husband in hearing – National | Globalnews.ca

Denise Richards broke down in tears in a courtroom Monday as she revealed details about the alleged abuse she endured from her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum took the stand during a hearing related to her temporary restraining order against Phypers, 53.

Richards, 54, became emotional as she spoke about the alleged abuse and claimed that Phypers “would often threaten to throw me through the windows and off balconies” of hotels, People reports.

“He’s almost killed me so many damn times,” Richards said.

Richards shared what led to their split on July 4, when she asked her estranged husband to leave their shared townhouses.

“He got very angry at me and volatile, he got very close to me,” Richards alleged. “I had just recovered from a full facelift and I still had stitches behind my ears, and I felt extremely vulnerable.”

“He would get as close as a couple inches from my face,” Richards testified. “He would grab my arms and he would yell, call me names.”

Richards told the court that she was feeling “extremely vulnerable and in pain” and allegedly asked Phypers to go stay at their old house, where his family was living at the time.

“Emotionally, it was hard for me to understand. Especially with having what he has done for a living, working in the wellness space, that he would know how much that this would affect me emotionally too,” she said. “And it just made me feel vulnerable, it made me feel scared, it made me feel sad. It made me feel intimidated by him. He’s very big.”

Richards recalled an incident that she said took place in April, when she woke up to Phypers allegedly squeezing her head.

“I woke up to him squeezing my head with his hands. My heart started beating so fast. He said, ‘You f—ing b—-, I just saw you’ve been talking to Rudy.’ I was shocked because my phone was opened to stream, he was able to get in and see my messages.”

“I thought I had deleted them, but I hadn’t,” Richards continued. “He started to get louder, and I told him to be quiet and that the girls are sleeping upstairs.”

In court documents, filed on Sept. 29 and viewed by Fox News Digital, Phypers’ lawyers named Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville and Richard’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen as witnesses.

Richards is mom to daughters Sami Sheen, 21, and Lola Sheen, 20, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Sheen. Richards filed for divorce from Sheen in March 2005 after nearly three years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in November 2006.

Phypers’ lawyers reportedly said that Sheen could testify regarding “Denise’s history of not being truthful and of drug and alcohol abuse.”

Richards responded to Phypers’ witness list by filing an objection on Sept. 30, Fox News Digital reports.

“This person is not a percipient witness to abuse committed by Petitioner against Respondent,” the document said of both Sheen and Glanville.

Phypers filed for divorce from Richards, citing “irreconcilable differences” and listing their date of separation as July 4 after six years of marriage.

A judge granted Richards a temporary restraining order against Phypers on July 16, after she accused her estranged husband of years of physical and verbal abuse.

Richards filed the temporary restraining order against Phypers, claiming that he “regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw’ and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help − none of which ever happened.”

In court documents, viewed by USA Today and other outlets, Richards wrote that Phypers “has caused me at least three concussions.”

Richards said in court filings that throughout her marriage to Phypers, he has “threatened to kill me and himself and the police. He owns at least 8 unregistered guns.”

The Wild Things actor also attached several photos to the filing, including one in which she has a black eye, claiming it was a result of Phypers’ abuse.

Phypers denied Richards’ claims in a Sept. 15 filing and alleged that she “attacked” and “harassed” him “many times,” according to People, which has viewed the court filing.

“I have not abused her and will not abuse her,” he reportedly said in the filing.

Phypers also denied all allegations of mental and physical abuse in a statement to People in July.

“I want to address recent rumors and speculation that have surfaced regarding my relationship with my wife, Denise Richards,” he told People.

“Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise – or anyone. These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect.

“I ask for privacy as we navigate personal matters, and I hope that the public and media will refrain from spreading harmful and baseless claims.”

LOS ANGELES – Denise Richards broke down in tears in the courtroom Monday as she recalled the alleged abuse she endured at the hands of her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star – who was granted a temporary restraining order against Phypers on July 17 amid their ongoing divorce – took the stand to testify against her estranged husband.

The “Wild Things” star recalled another incident of abuse earlier in the year.

“[Aaron] started to argue with me when I brought up asking him when his parents and family were going to move out of the house,” Richards said of Phypers, whose family moved into their shared home months prior. “I was told every month that they were leaving. When I started to bring it up, he got very angry with me and volatile. He got very close to me and I had just recovered from a full face lift and I still had stitches by my ears.”

After describing her 5-foot, four-inch small stature in comparison to Phypers’ six-foot frame, Richards remembered feeling her body feeling “extra sensitive” to pain following a grueling surgical process.

“The first surgery was 7.5 hours, a very complicated one. The other was 6 hours. I was in so much pain as it was, and he knew that … and for him to grab me and be so forceful, it caused a lot of pain for me,” she claimed.

Recalling an incident from April, Richards said she woke up to Phypers allegedly squeezing her head.

Richards said the alleged altercations made her feel extremely “vulnerable and scared.”

“It made me feel sad. It made me feel intimated by him – he’s very big. Just very vulnerable.”

Phypers filed for divorce from Richards on July 7. He cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support from the “Real Housewives” star.

A judge granted Richards’ request for a temporary restraining order against Phypers amid their ongoing divorce on July 17.

“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages,” Richards claimed in the documents, filed on July 16.

“Aaron regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw’ and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help – none of which ever happened. Aaron has caused me at least three concussions.”

“Until now, I have been afraid to report Aaron to the police or file for a restraining order because he has repeatedly threatened to kill himself and me if I reported him to the police, among his other threats of harm to me and himself if he is reported for his abuse to anyone,” Richards continued.

Additionally, said Richards, Phypers “threatened that I would ‘disappear’ if I called the police.”

Phypers denied all allegations of mental or physical abuse in a statement at the time.

  • Denise Richards’ ex calls Charlie Sheen, Brandi Glanville to testify in divorce drama: what do they know

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Denise Richards’ estranged husband Aaron Phypers is attempting to drag Charlie Sheen and Brandi Glanville into his acrimonious divorce battle with the “Wild Things” star.

Phypers’ lawyers named Sheen and Glanville as witnesses in court documents that were obtained by Fox News Digital. The documents were filed on Sept. 29 ahead of the hearings scheduled for Oct. 6 to Oct. 8.

In the filing, Phypers’ attorneys stated that Sheen, who was previously married to Richards, and Glanville, who co-starred with her on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” could testify regarding “Denise’s history of not being truthful and of drug and alcohol abuse.”

Phypers, 53, filed for divorce from Richards, 54, in June after seven years of marriage. In July, Richards was granted a temporary restraining order against Phypers, after accusing him of domestic violence.

That same month, Phypers accused Richards of having an addiction to Vicodin in a letter to friends and family that was obtained by Page Six. He has also claimed that she cheated on him with another man and alleged that she physically abused him.

Both Richards and Phypers have denied each other’s allegations.

On Sept. 30, Richards responded to Phypers’ witness list by filing an objection that was obtained by Fox News Digital.

“This person is not a percipient witness to abuse committed by Petitioner against Respondent,” the document said of Sheen and Glanville, as well as other named witnesses, including Richards’ father Irv Richards.

Phypers’ witness list stated that Irv’s testimony would include “communications from Denise regarding the case and her plans to violate court orders restricting disposal of assets.”

The witness list also named Richards herself, who would be asked to address “all of the false allegations being made against Aaron as well as her violations of court orders, her lack of fear of Aaron including phone calls and messages and video sent, her unreliability as a witness, and her violence against Aaron.”

In addition, the witness list included Phypers himself and three of his family members who would speak to “all of Denise’s allegations, as well as her [alleged] violations of court orders, her lack of fear, phone calls, messages, video she sent, violence by her, breaking Aaron’s phone, trespassing in family members’ rooms, Denise’s drug and alcohol use.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to representatives for Richards, Phypers, Sheen and Glanville for comment.

Family law attorney Patrick Baghdaserians of Baghdaserians Law Group criticized Phypers for calling Sheen and Glanville to testify, telling Fox News Digital that the “witness testimony scope is not only irrelevant but seemingly geared towards intimidating and embarrassing Ms. Richards.”

“The scope of testimony proffered for Mr. Sheen and Ms. Glanville is largely irrelevant as to whether abuse occurred between the parties,” the legal expert said.

Baghdaserians told Fox News Digital that he found the “inflammatory and derogatory statements” about Richards in the witness list to be “highly unusual.” He went on to say that it was unlikely that Sheen and Glanville would be allowed to take the stand.

“In a domestic violence setting, abuse is based on admissible evidence,” he said. “Character or historical tendencies generally carry very little weight. For example, whether a victim allegedly had a past problem with drugs or alcohol is largely irrelevant when it comes to whether abuse occurred.”

Baghdaserians added, “There is a strong public policy to exclude irrelevant and embarrassing testimony in court. This is even more important when the offered irrelevant testimony is being proffered to seemingly embarrass and or intimidate a purported victim of domestic violence.”

“Given this strong public policy, I cannot imagine the judicial officer in this matter allowing either Mr. Sheen or Ms. Glanville to testify against Ms. Richards.”

Sheen and Richards were married from 2002 to 2006 and share daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20. In 2005, Richards filed for divorce, citing Sheen’s drug addiction as a contributing factor in the breakdown of their marriage.

The “Two and a Half Men” star has been open about his own past struggles with alcoholism and substance abuse, and he has been sober since 2017. Sheen has never publicly accused Richards of drug use.

For several years, the two battled in court over child custody and financial support. However, they have since developed an amicable relationship. In a 2023 interview with People, Sheen told the outlet that he and Richards are “absolutely friendly.”

“We went through so much s— together that I don’t think either one of us has any energy left to be divisive,” he said. “The only thing that matters is the kids. We knew we had to park our nonsense and focus on the children, because they had nothing to do with any of our crud.”

“Even in the hottest portions of depths of the inferno, we were still able to maintain a perspective that yes, the children need to come first,” Sheen added. “Now we’re super friendly, and we’re actually able to process so much of it through humor these days.”

In April, Sheen made an appearance on Richards’ reality show, “Denise Richards & her Wild Things.” During the episode, the former couple had dinner with Lola and discussed their relationship.

“The one thing I will say about you and I going through the difficulty we did with our divorce, you knew I always had your back, at the end of the day,” Richards told Sheen, according to InStyle.

“I appreciate that,” Sheen replied. “If you didn’t, then we wouldn’t be able to have more moments like this.”

Last month, Richards attended the premiere of Sheen’s Netflix documentary, “aka Charlie Sheen.” While on the red carpet, the two hugged and posed together for photos.

Meanwhile, Glanville and Richards’ relationship has been rocky and fraught with tension in recent years. The two formerly co-starred on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but Richards left the show in 2020 after Glanville claimed that they had an affair while the “Starship Troopers” actress was married to Phypers.

During a 2020 episode of the show, Glanville claimed that Phypers was “OK” with their alleged affair and that she “knew” that the former couple “have an understanding.”

“Like, she could be with girls if she wanted to. And as long as, you know, it wasn’t with a guy,” Glanville said.

A source also spoke to the outlet, shedding some light on why Phypers wanted Glanville to take the witness stand amid his divorce from Richards.

“In [an] effort to not allow this [divorce] case to be a Brandi 2.0, Glanville is being called to testify on Richards’s credibility and manipulative moves,” the insider said.

“Denise did [Glanville] dirty,” the source added. “Aaron Phypers’ witness list includes people who can deny Denise Richards credibility on telling the truth.”

However, family law attorney Holly Davis of the firm Kirker Davis agreed with Baghdaserians’ assertion that it was unlikely Glanville and Sheen would be allowed to provide witness testimony during the hearings.

The legal expert said, “The only way this testimony actually gets in to the record over a relevancy objection is if the attorney can somehow show that Denise Richards has a modus operandi when she divorces people, otherwise dragging a person into court to testify that a person lied or did drugs ten years ago is a waste of the court’s time and could be achieved by the testimony of Denise and her husband.”

“This is a messy, ugly, high conflict case that will eat up all of the parties’ resources,” Davis added. “Denise and her husband need to settle the case, move on with their lives, and forget they ever met if they know what’s good for them. If they continue at this rate, both sides will lose ultimately at a final hearing.”

  • Denise Richards, Aaron Phypers’ split turns ugly with ‘trashed’ mansion allegations

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Tensions are rising between Denise Richards and her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.

On Thursday, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s ex gave a tour of the conditions Richards allegedly left their $3.5 million mansion in, including “trashed” bedrooms, “stained” carpets, and moth-filled closets.

“All her stuff, this is how she left it,” Phypers told “Inside Edition,” while walking through the house, which he said also houses 15 of Richards’ dogs.

“There’s hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of vintage clothes, and it’s riddled with moths,” Phypers said as he showed the outlet her closet.

According to legal documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Richards alleged that she hasn’t lived in the home in more than two years and said that Phypers and his family have “damaged the property and have left the house in disarray.”

In the court filing, Richards included a video taken Aug. 3, 2025, showing the condition of the property. She said she went to the property during a time she knew Phypers would not be there, and his brother blocked Richards from leaving by placing blocks under the tires of her vehicle. Aaron’s parents were at the home when she arrived and allegedly also tried to stop her from leaving the home before Phypers could return.

Richards also shared that she and Phypers agreed her dogs would stay at the property while she was having and recovering from two surgeries. “Despite several requests, since that time Aaron has refused to allow me to retrieve my dogs and other personal items from the property,” the court documents stated.

In a hearing on Sept. 8, the actress was granted the right to return home on Saturday to retrieve her belongings from the home without violating her restraining order, according to People magazine.

Richards was allowed to “retrieve her mother’s and her own personal property, including the dogs.” The court filing also stated Phypers was to “take no action which would interfere with Ms. Richards’ access.”

A representative for Richards did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect.”

He concluded, “I ask for privacy as we navigate personal matters, and I hope that the public and media will refrain from spreading harmful and baseless claims.”

Phypers filed for divorce from Richards on July 7. He cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support from the “Real Housewives” star.

  • The Real Reason Charlie Sheen & Denise Richards Divorced After He Reportedly Told Her to ‘F—ing Die’

Charlie Sheen has had a lot of ups and downs in his life. One of those was his contentious divorce with his first wife Denise Richards.

Sheen was married to Richards from 2002 to 2006, after they met while filming Good Advice in 2000. “Everyone told me not to go out with him, but I didn’t want to judge him based on the tabloids,” says Richards told People. “I judged him as the man I met. I said ‘Well, unless he murdered someone, I can’t judge him for the past.’”

The two share daughters Sami and Lola, but their divorce was a major battle for the Two and a Half Men star. “Despite everything we went through, we can have a sense of humor about all the s–t we went through,” she told the outlet.

Why Did Charlie Sheen & Denise Richards divorce?

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards divorced due to the actor’s substance issues. “He had been sober for about four years and very committed to his sobriety,” Richards said during an episode of Bravo’s Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, “and I never thought someone that committed could fall off and fall back into that because I, at the time, hadn’t really been around it.”

She also recalled that one “awful” night led her to pack up her stuff and led her to file for “divorce in between dropping them off at the hotel and a table reading.”

The two attempted to reconcile in 2006, but things became worse amid a nasty custody battle, and the actress accused her husband at the time of “inappropriate behavior … and conduct,” including “his attraction to underage women and his sexual explicitness on the internet, including revealing his private parts.”

Sheen countered in a statement: “Clearly the mother of my children has no interest in responsible co-parenting when it comes to my relationship with our girls.”

Richards also claimed that Sheen told her “”I hope you f—ing die, b—ch,” when he was caught looking at several porn sites. She subsequently filed a restraining order and a judge ordered him to stay 300 feet away from her and their daughters.

They finally reached a divorce settlement in Nov. 2006 with their reps saying, “Denise and Charlie are working with the Courts to privately resolve their differences regarding their children. They hope to resolve this matter outside of the public forum and will both continue to make every effort in this regard.”

The former couple was also embroiled in a $1.2 million legal battle in 2016, after alleging that he hadn’t been abiding by the terms of a trust he set up for their kids. However, by the end of the year, they seemed to clear the air. Richards posted a photo from a family dinner with Sheen, Sami, Lola and Eloise, writing, “We’ve had a colorful year …at the end of the day we’re still a family.”

The two have a very cordial relationship today, and Richards invited Sheen to her nuptials with her new husband Aaron Pyphers.

On his documentary’s film premiere, Richards posed on the carpet with her ex. She captioned an Instagram post, “We both looked at each other on the red carpet and just laughed. Charlie asked, “Is it 2002?” and I said, “It sure feels like it.” Who would have thought? What a journey we’ve had- so many ups and downs. But when life gets tough, deep down we both know we can count on each other. I’m so proud of him, and truly honored he asked me to be part of his story. Congrats, Charles ❤️”

Denise Richards On Possibly Returning To ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’: “Never Say Never”

Denise Richards is not shutting down a possible return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

In a new interview, the former Bravo star said she would consider returning to the reality series.

“I always say, ‘Never say never,’” Richards told People.

Richards joined RHOBH in Season 9 and left after only two seasons on the show. The Wild Things star recently returned as a guest in Season 13 to confront Erika Jayne over unresolved issues from the past.

“I have nothing against her at all,” Richards said of Jayne. “We’ll see what happens when they get around to going back for their season.”

The most recent season of RHOBH starred Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, Annemarie Wiley and Kyle Richards.

Wiley recently revealed she would not be returning to RHOBH as production starts for Season 14.

“I’m disappointed is an understatement,” Wiley said in a statement shared on Instagram. “I never auditioned for this show. The show found me and asked me to be on it out of the blue 6 weeks after the cast had already started filming. I was thrown into filming 2 weeks later, mid-season.”

She continued, “I was very excited about the opportunity, and I thought following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming last season was the way the ‘game was played.’”

Aside from Wiley’s exit, Bravo has not commented on which RHOBH stars will be returning for the new season about to start filming.

Kyle Richards Calls Out RHOBH Costars for Not Defending Her Against Garcelle’s Infidelity Question After Garcelle Slams Her for Not Sticking Up for Denise in Sneak Peek

    With friends like these…

Kyle Richards called out her co-stars for not defending her against Garcelle Beauvais‘ infidelity question about Mauricio Umansky. Garcelle then suggested that Kyle’s “lifestyle change” is “weird.”

In a preview for the upcoming episode, Garcelle first shaded Kyle for not defending Denise Richards – after Erika Jayne slammed Denise’s OnlyFans collaboration with her daughter.

“Really it should be that children and families are off limits,” said Kyle of Erika’s comment in a preview shared by @queensofbravo on X.

“Then why didn’t you say that to [Erika] when she just said that?” asked Garcelle. “She was sitting right next to you.”

Kyle, however, refused to sit back and be silent.

“I was letting you guys talk it out. Why didn’t anybody stand up for me the other night!?” she asked, referring to Garcelle’s infidelity questions. “Why didn’t anybody say, ‘That’s wrong to do?’”

The episode showed a clip of Garcelle asking if Mauricio gave Kyle her new ring because he “messed up.” Her castmates stayed silent.

“Where the f**k has everybody been when I’ve needed them?” asked Kyle in the new episode’s confessional. “Are you kidding me? If you want to play every-man-for-himself game, then we’re going to play it across the board.”

Back in the group scene, Kyle continued to stand up for herself.

“Not one person said, ‘That is so weird to sit there and say, oh she has a new piece of jewelry. Must be that her husband bought it because he cheated … That’s her family. That’s her husband. Her kids are upstairs.’”

“So guess what? F**k everybody. You guys can figure it out,” said Kyle of her future willingness to get involved in other people’s fights.

In her own confessional, Garcelle said she “didn’t defend” Kyle when Sutton Stracke brought up her marriage because Garcelle was also “curious about Kyle’s marriage.”

Garcelle then mentioned, once again, Kyle’s “ring-switching” and frequent “working out” – suggesting it represents a “lifestyle change,” which Garcelle thinks is “weird.”

  • RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Shares Real Reason She Hasn’t Finalized Divorce From Tom Girardi, If She’s Open for Love, & If She’d Show Relationship on TV, Plus Kyle’s Marital Drama and Denise Feud

RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Shares Real Reason She Hasn’t Finalized Divorce From Tom Girardi, If She’s Open for Love, & If She’d Show Relationship on TV, Plus Kyle’s Marital Drama and Denise Feud

RHOBH's Erika Jayne shares why she hasn’t finalized divorce with Tom Girardi, reveals if she’s open for love.

Erika Jayne shared why hasn’t finalized her divorce from Tom Girardi, revealed if she’s open for love, and claimed Denise Richards was “looking for a fight” on the latest season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

In the season 13 trailer, Erika alleged that a “naked bundle” of Denise on OnlyFans was “only $7.” In response, Denise called her “evil.”

Speaking with ET, Erika shared that her “heart will always be open” when it comes to love after her breakup with Tom.

“You have to grieve a marriage and you grieve a lot of things. I had a complete change of life, not just a marriage, a sickness of a spouse, and then losing your home, and your money, and all at one time, so grieving that sort of stuff and working through the legal problems is a lot,” she said. “My heart will always be open. I don’t think I’ll choose to share my private life on camera. I think that I need one thing that’s mine. I just need one thing that’s mine.”

When pressed to say whether she’d really never showcase her romantic life on RHOBH again, the pop star admitted, “Timing is everything. Let me recover. I’ve got a lot of bills to pay. I’ve got a lot of things to work out. When and if the time is right.”

The star also shared that she’s currently dating: “My heart is not closed. I’m OK. I’m social, and I should be.”

Erika then revealed why she hasn’t finalized her divorce with Tom: “In the order of all of the problems I’m facing, it’s probably the absolute last thing … I just don’t think about it. The day I filed for divorce and we were legally separated, that was it for me. We are in very different places. I have a lot to clean up and pick up and move on.”

She continued, “We all have to do it our own way. Nobody’s gonna look out for you but yourself … Even after a two-decade-plus marriage, that’s what it came down to, looking out for yourself.”

Regarding Kyle Richard’s marriage difficulties, Erika shared, “I am Kyle’s friend, and I am going to support her through this separation and whatever they choose to do … I’m a friend, I’m a supporter, whatever she wants to share with me that’s her right to do so. I’m not in this marriage and I don’t like it when other people pry. You don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. Let them work it out.”

“Everyone has an opinion and we’re there to get her opinion,” she added. “My opinion is, I’m Kyle’s friend, they are married, and she will let me know what’s happening when she’s ready to. It’s my job as a friend to support her in whatever she chooses to do.”

Erika then addressed the introduction of newbie castmate Annemarie Wiley. “She is not to be toyed with. I like her. She’s very direct. She’s sweet, but she’s firm,” said Erika. “She was very vocal. It took her half a second [to find her footing on the show].”

She then teased her upcoming fight with Denise Richards, which “stunned” Erika, who was “so confused as to what [was] happening.”

“[Denise] was there looking for a fight, so I gave it to her,” said Erika. “That’s not something I want to do. Here’s the thing, if you’re going to push, you need to be ready to get pushed back on, and so that’s all I did.”

In an interview with Us Weekly, Erika claimed she called Teddi Mellencamp – who seemed to lead the charge against Denise amid Brandi Glanville‘s allegation that she and Denise had sex – to better understand why Denise was still upset with her.

“I said, ‘Teddi, what is this about?’ Because Denise’s anger should not be directed toward me,” said Erika. “Denise’s anger should be directed at Brandi Glanville, Lisa Rinna, and Teddi Mellencamp, not Erika. I just happened to be the only one [there].”

The star claimed Denise was “saying all these things,” and Erika “apologized” at the time because she “couldn’t remember” what had happened in the past.

“Then [Denise] wanted to continue that on Taco Tuesday at Crystal [Kung Minkoff’s],” Erika added. “And that’s when you see me say, I had to be [like], ‘Look, I did not want any part of this,’ but she wanted that. So I gave it to her at the end.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 premieres October 25 at 8/7c on Bravo.

  • Despite Being A Satire, Drop Dead Gorgeous Accurately Mirrored Kirstie Alley’s Politics

Despite Being A Satire, Drop Dead Gorgeous Accurately Mirrored Kirstie Alley’s Politics

As is usually the case when a celebrity dies, all former political effrontery tends to be glossed over. This certainly held true for the likes of James Caan (who died earlier this year) and Doris Day (who died in 2019). Granted, these might be prime examples of “Old Hollywood Republicans” (because, believe it or not, it used to be much chicer to be conservative than liberal in that town), but the point is, no one brought up the political leanings that formerly made people cringe once these “icons” were dead. The same seems to go for Kirstie Alley, who was, as a Midwesterner, perhaps an unavoidable Republican. A reality that came to harsh light during the 2016 election, when she announced her intention to vote for Donald Trump instead of Hillary Clinton. Backpedaling after her declaration was met with verbal reprisals, she claimed, “I hate this election and I’m officially no longer endorsing either candidate.”

“Endorsing” him or not, Alley still voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 (the ultimate sign of a “die-hard” [read: white supremacist] Republican). Being vocal about it again the latter election year when she tweeted, “I’m voting for @realDonaldTrump because he’s NOT a politician. I voted for him 4 years ago for this reason and shall vote for him again for this reason. He gets things done quickly and he will turn the economy around quickly. There you have it folks there you have it.” The pronouncement was met with a swift barrage of venom, including from the likes of Judd Apatow, who replied, “Shelley [misspelled as Shelly] Long was way funnier than you.” Alley went on The Sean Hannity Show the next day to continue to defend her stance, doubling down once more on her position. All of this is to say that, despite the 1999 mockumentary masterpiece that is Drop Dead Gorgeous being a satire, Alley’s role as pageant mother/head of the pageant organizing committee Gladys Leeman wasn’t that much of a reach for her to embody. Not politically speaking, anyway.

Directed by Michael Patrick Jann and written by Lona Williams, the latter was highly inspired by her hometown of Rosemount, Minnesota (hence, the name of the town in the movie being Mount Rose, MN) for the story. Complete with over-the-top Minnesota accents that Alley was happy to accommodate as she said on-brand conservative things like, “I know what some of your big city, no bra wearin’, hairy-legged women libbers might say. They might say that a pageant is old-fashioned and ‘demeaning’ to the girls…” Her cohort, Iris (Mindy Sterling), chimes in, “What’s sick is women dressin’ like men!” Gladys agrees, “You betcha, Iris. No, I think you boys are gonna find something a little bit different here in Mount Rose. For one thing, we’re all God-fearin’ folk, every last one of us. And you will not find a ‘back room’ in our video store. No, no. That filth is better left in the Sin Cities.” Iris clarifies, “A.k.a. Minneapolis-St. Paul.”

Gladys’ carefully-curated image as the perfect mother and homemaker is especially crucial this pageant year as her own daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Leeman (Denise Richards), will be competing. Which is why it’s also so important for Gladys to come up with an “original” theme like “Proud to Be An American.” So much different from previous themes like, “Buy American,” “USA Is A-OK” or “Amer-I-Can!” Although mostly confident that Rebecca has what it takes to win, Gladys isn’t so naïve as to discount the potential of someone such as doe-eyed, blonde Amber Atkins (Kirsten Dunst) or even Tammy Curry (Brooke Elise Bushman), the dyke archetype who beat out Rebecca to become the president of the Lutheran Sisterhood Gun Club. This win being precisely her motive for rigging Tammy’s tractor to blow up.

The explosion turns out to be a foreshadowing of the comeuppance Gladys will get with another big kabluey at the end of the movie—this time of her own daughter on a giant swan. After fixing the pageant so that Rebecca would win (even though Amber was the clear favorite), it’s obvious the Leemans had no intention of ever letting Rebecca lose in that they had pre-purchased this massive piñata-esque float for their daughter to ride in at the celebratory parade. A parade, by the way, filled with scenes that mirror the most grotesque cliches of American stereotypes as perpetuated by Republicans. Ignorance abounding in shit-kicker aesthetics (from army camouflage to oversized khaki shorts) and behaviors (e.g., mocking a mentally challenged person with their overalls caught in a car door).

At Rebecca’s funeral, reference to the swan being made in Mexico comes back as the pastor notes to God, “Maybe it’s your way of telling us, ‘Buy American.’” Or that Rebecca’s own win-at-any-cost mother epitomizes the sort of tactics that Trump himself would employ to “get the job done.” Ignore reality, ignore what the majority actually wants and just bulldoze your way to “success.” The “anti-wokeness” of Gladys Leeman—which comes out in dialogue like, “I said I’d move if a cripple came” (re: parking in a handicapped spot)—is an additional foil of Alley’s own nature, which would go on to reveal some very pro-MAGA, QAnon-sympathizing sentiments.

Determined to wield her “blunt” persona as “telling it like it is,” it became increasingly evident over the course of the post-90s years (particularly with Scientology becoming less tenable for many outside observers and defectors alike, including Leah Remini, who clashed a number of times with Alley after leaving the organization) that her brand was less “freedom of speech” and more mumbo-jumbo. Including her response to the war in Ukraine being that she didn’t “know what’s real or what is fake in this war. So I won’t be commenting. I’ll pray instead.”

Incidentally, Scientologists don’t subscribe to prayer. Something the aforementioned Remini was eager to point out in her back-handed tribute/condolence to Alley and her family when she said, “Although Scientologists don’t believe in prayers, my prayers do go out to her two children, who are now without their mom.” Another thing Scientologists don’t believe in is seeking cancer treatment before it’s too late, told by the Church that they can conquer such “ailments,” particularly someone who was at Alley’s Operating Thetan Level VIII. Yet another reason it feels all too pointed that fellow Scientologists Kelly Preston and Chick Corea also died of cancer in 2020 in 2021, respectively. And both, like Alley, near the Church’s Flag Building in Clearwater, Florida.

While there’s no denying Alley had many beloved roles, from Mollie Jensen in the Look Who’s Talking trilogy to Diane Barrows in It Takes Two to Veronica Chase in Veronica’s Closet to a caricaturized version of herself in Fat Actress, her death doesn’t deify her enough to dismiss her often problematic politics. Of the same ilk that Gladys Leeman was only too proud to trumpet under the banner of “Proud to Be An American.”

  • Denise Richards ‘Grateful To Be Safe’ After Gun Fired At Her Vehicle In Road Rage Incident

Denise Richards ‘Grateful To Be Safe’ After Gun Fired At Her Vehicle In Road Rage Incident

    By Miguel A. Melendez, ETOnline.com.

Denise Richards says she’s overwhelmed by the support from fans following a scary road rage incident that ended with a gun firing at her vehicle in a road rage incident.

The actress took to Instagram on Thanksgiving Day and offered her “sincerest thanks to all who have reached out to me and Aaron during this time.” She added, “We are both very grateful to be safe. The love and support from all of you has been overwhelming!! We are so thankful for each and every one of you.”

Richards was on her way to a film and TV studio in Los Angeles on Nov. 14 when a road-rage incident ended in gunfire. According to multiple reports, the actress/model and Aaron were looking for street parking as they arrived at the studio, but an apparently impatient motorist grew annoyed at them slowing down, resulting in him drawing his weapon and firing his gun.

It’s unclear how many rounds were fired but according to a photo obtained by TMZ, which first reported the news, one bullet hole can be seen in the back of the gray pickup truck the couple was driving in.

Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident. While someone called 911 after noticing the bullet hole, TMZ reports it’s unclear if police ever came out and took a report. ET has reached out to Richards’ reps for comment.

Richards was reportedly heading to the studio for the film, “Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace”, which is slated for a 2023 release. TMZ reports Richards worked a 12-hour shift on the set of the sequel to 2020’s “Angels Fallen” following the scary ordeal.
