  • Music Rewind 2025: The Year of Empathy, Secret, and Total Global Domination for IVE

    [ad_1]

DIVE, let’s talk about the chokehold IVE has had on K-Pop in 2025. In fact, it wasn’t just a comeback year; it was a global power move! Gaeul, An Yujin, Rei, WonYoung, Liz, and Leeseo gave us two iconic EPs that solidified their reputation as fourth-gen royalty, conquered stages from Paris to L.A., and launched a world tour that redefined the meaning of “sold out.” This was truly the year of the ultimate IVE takeover!

A year this packed deserves a proper celebration: Welcome to the IVE 2025 Rewind.

🎧 The Reign of Two Sides: Confidence and Hypnotic Charisma

IVE kicked off 2025 by reminding everyone why they’re the standard with the IVE Empathy EP. Its title track, ‘ATTITUDE,’ was pure, unapologetic confidence, immediately becoming an anthem for self-determination. As a result, the music video for the title track quickly racked up millions of views, proving that DIVEs were absolutely ready for this era of self-assured queens. The confidence paid off—’ATTITUDE’ earned a massive four music show wins!

But IVE wasn’t done showing their range. While dominating the Korean charts, they also dropped the fantastic Japanese album BE ALRIGHT, proving their commitment to musical expansion. Then, in the latter half of the year, they returned to Korea with the mysterious and addictive

✈️ Global Domination: From Lisbon to Lollapalooza

Part of what makes this IVE 2025 Rewind so exciting is seeing just how many stages they conquered this year. 2025 really was the year IVE proved they can make any stage feel like home. Whether they were performing for thousands at a global festival or launching their second world tour.

We got to relive the entire journey of THE 1ST WORLD TOUR with the highly anticipated Blu-ray DVD release. But before we could even recover from the nostalgia, IVE launched the incredible 2nd World Tour: SHOW WHAT I AM. Which started with a massive run at the KSPO Dome in Seoul on October 31, 2025!

IVE also became absolute monarchs of the festival circuit, bringing their energy to massive stages across the globe:

    • Global Festivals: They blessed huge international stages like Lollapalooza Berlin, Lollapalooza Paris, and ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025.
    • K-Pop Power: They dominated major industry events like KCON LA and the All Loud KT Pop Concert in Kaohsiung, showcasing their massive appeal.
    • Broadcast Events: They were a staple on high-profile televised specials, including the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, Music Bank in Lisbon, and the 2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan.
    • Home Turf: Even back in Korea, they were the main event at the Korea University Festival and Sungkyunkwan University Festival.

Seriously, name a major stage in 2025—IVE was there.

🇯🇵 Expanding Their Reach: The BE ALRIGHT Japanese Era

While IVE dominated the Korean charts, they also strengthened their global footprint with the powerful Japanese EP album BE ALRIGHT. This release showed just how versatile the group can be — vocally, conceptually, and creatively. The album offered a polished, refreshing sound that resonated with J-DIVEs and proved their international strategy is as strong as their homegrown success.

Their Japanese promotions, performances, and fan events surrounding the album highlighted a new level of global confidence. As a result, this era was one of the most defining parts of their year.

🫂 Closer to DIVE: Fan Events and Celebrations

Another part of this IVE 2025 Rewind is seeing how consistently they showed love to DIVE throughout the year.

Basically, IVE ensured that DIVEs felt the love all year long, making every interaction count! The era started strong with the EMPATHY EP, which brought special offline fan-signs that allowed fans to connect directly with the members. DIVEs were thrilled by the K-MONSTAR fansign event in Taipei and the IDOUSTAGE fansign in Shanghai, demonstrating the group’s massive international reach right from the start of the year.

Moving on to large-scale events, their fan concert series, IVE Scout, proved just how much fun they have with DIVE, traveling across multiple Japanese cities (including Kobe, Yokohama, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Aichi) after kicking off the excitement in Seoul in March. They also hosted the special A !Smart “IVE SECRET” fanmeets in Tokyo and Osaka to celebrate their EP album release. IVE truly made sure 2025 was all about the connection!

Versatility Queens: IVE’s Individual Dominance With OSTs And Their Own Variety Show

While IVE shines as a unit, the members spent 2025 absolutely crushing it individually, proving their versatility across media. Their voices graced the small screen all year long! The group even contributed the powerful track ‘DARE ME’ to the Damemane! OST. Individually, An Yujin lent her beautiful voice to Resident Playbook OST Part 2 with the warm track ‘Sunny Day.’ Liz served up an incredible vocal range with ‘Heavy Love’  for Heavenly Ever After OST Part.5 and the super-cute Princess Catch! Teenie Ping OST, ensuring their music was everywhere!

Beyond OSTs, we also got stunning covers showcasing their range. Gaeul gave us her take on ‘Chroma Drift’, An Yujin performed a mesmerizing rendition of ‘Golden’, and Liz stunned us all with her take on ‘바람 바람 바람 (Baram X 3).’

Of course, we can’t ignore the unmatched brand power! Jang WonYoung starred in the iconic MALTO x Jang Won Young ‘Shake It Off’ music collaboration. And finally, DIVEs rejoiced as the group’s beloved reality show, 1,2,3 IVE, started its sixth season—proof that their variety game is still elite!

👠 Runway Ready: Fashion Moments That Ruled the Year

It wouldn’t be an IVE rewind without talking about fashion — because 2025 was another year where they effortlessly owned every frame, every carpet, and every front-row seat.

From luxury brand events to viral editorial shoots, the members continued to prove why they’re fixtures in the global fashion conversation. Wonyoung’s high-fashion appearances sparked trends across social media, Yujin brought her signature cool-girl charisma to brand showings, and the group’s magazine features showcased a visual identity that only grows sharper with each era.

Whether attending shows, modeling for major campaigns, or simply lighting up pictorials, IVE’s fashion presence remained just as influential as their music.

    🏆Crowned Queens: The Award Haul

When IVE enters an era, they simply don’t miss—and 2025’s massive award haul is the ultimate proof! Their sheer dominance was felt across every major ceremony, solidifying their place as industry favorites. They didn’t just meet expectations. They crushed them, picking up major honors that cemented their legacy, including two massive Daesangs (Grand Prizes) for their powerful music!

Their incredible track ‘Rebel Heart‘ undeniably took home the coveted Song of the Year (Daesang) at the Asia Artist Awards and the Grand Song (Daesang) at the Korea Grand Music Awards!

Beyond those incredible wins, IVE also racked up a big number of Bonsangs and specialty awards:

    • MAMA Awards: Favorite Global Performer, Favorite Female Group, and Global Trend Song for ‘Rebel Heart’
    • Golden Disc Awards: Best Digital Song (Bonsang) for ‘Heya’ and Best Album (Bonsang) for IVE Switch; Global K-pop Artist (for the group)
    • Asia Artist Awards: Best Artist – Singer and Best K-Pop Record (for the group)
    • Korea Grand Music Awards: Best Music 10 (for EP Ive Secret); Best Global K-pop Star and ENA K-pop Artist
    • K-World Dream Awards: K-World Bonsang Award, K-World Best Artist Award (Daesang), and K-World Class Award

    • Asia Star Entertainer Awards: The Platinum Award
    • Brand Customer Loyalty Awards: Female Idol category
    • Melon Music Awards: Best Female Group, Millions Top 10 for EP Ive Empathy and Top 10 Artist

🎉 4th Debut Anniversary: Four Years of IVE Magic

As 2025 wrapped up, DIVEs had plenty to celebrate, marking IVE’s momentous 4th Debut Anniversary in December. Four years in, and the group’s impact only continues to grow — from record-setting releases to global tours, festival stages, OST hits, and variety dominance.

All in all, this milestone highlights their journey from explosive debut to global reign, a moment captured beautifully in their celebration video

    💜 The Future is IVE

One truth defines this IVE 2025 Rewind: IVE’s ascent is unstoppable. After all, the year saw them leverage every global stage and breakthrough release to cement their status as fourth-generation royalty, proving their ability to pivot seamlessly from confident anthems to hypnotic charisma. The groundwork is not just laid—it is solidified. With their second world tour in full swing, IVE carries immense momentum into the new year.

DIVE, stay tuned. The next chapter is already being written, and the world is waiting for the luminous vision of IVE to unfold.

  • No Dowdle about it: Panthers’ 17-point comeback win over Dolphins instills hope

    [ad_1]

The Carolina Panthers were doing it again — frustrating their fans, turning the ball over, acting like they had never seen a football before.

After 20 minutes in the Panthers’ game at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday, Miami led, 17-0. Panthers quarterback Bryce Young had turned the ball over twice — one on an atrocious fumble, one on an airmailed interception. The thousands of Dolphins fans who had infiltrated the stadium were loud; some Panthers fans were already wondering how bad the score needed to be before they left.

And then, in a bizarrely beautiful way, the Panthers started climbing back into the game. By halftime, it was 17-10. By the end of the third quarter, it was 17-13. And by the end of the game, Carolina had tied the largest comeback in franchise history and upset the Dolphins, 27-24.

“The ones who stayed,” Panthers coach Dave Canales said, “got to see an amazing show.”

It was an entertaining win for the Panthers (2-3), who scored two touchdowns in the game’s final 6:10 to chase down the Dolphins (1-4). It was also a significant one — the sort of win that occasionally turns around an entire season, if it instills the confidence that it should.

In the recent past, a Panthers team that fell down by 17 points was either going to lose very big (most of the time) or nearly make a comeback but fall short (see: Arizona game in Week 2).

This comeback, though, was completed with a flourish, as Young turned his afternoon completely around and all sorts of unlikely first- and second-year offensive players made huge plays: Xavier Legette (a TD), Jimmy Horn Jr. (a fourth-down catch) and Mitchell Evans (the game-winning touchdown) among them.

The biggest headliner, though, was Rico Dowdle, Carolina’s backup tailback with all the Carolinas connections who became the No. 1 running back on this day due to Chuba Hubbard’s calf injury that sidelined him for the entire game.

There was no Dowdle about it: the running back was magnificent.

Dowdle rushed for 206 yards on 23 carries — tied for the second-most rushing yards in Carolina history, behind only DeAngelo Williams’ 210 in a 2012 game. And Dowdle would have set the franchise record for sure had he not had to down five containers of pickle juice on the sideline to counteract the frequent cramping he was suffering in the fourth quarter.

Dowdle scored from a yard out to give Carolina a 20-17 lead, crowd-surfing the last few inches on his back. But Miami immediately returned the favor, as Jaylen Waddle got loose behind Carolina’s secondary for a 46-yard touchdown pass.

That meant Carolina had to score a touchdown again, down 24-20, and starting at the Panthers’ own 17. But there the Panthers went: Dowdle for 16 yards, and then Legette on a pretty pass for 24, and soon Horn converting a fourth-and-5 for 17 more. All of it led to Young throwing a play-action pass to Evans from the 4.

Evans, the rookie from Notre Dame, caught the ball, got submarined and basically somersaulted into the end zone.

Evans then spiked the ball so hard it would have made Rob Gronkowski proud.

“Really?” Evans said when I told him his spike went 10 rows into the stands. “I kinda blacked out.”

Carolina Panthers tight end Mitchell Evans, right, flexes as he celebrates his touchdown pass reception with his teammates during fourth quarter action against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC. The Panthers defeated the Dolphins 27-24.

The win still wasn’t complete, but then the defense did its part with a big third-down sack from Pat Jones. Rather than going for it, Miami decided to punt on fourth-and-17 from its own 15 with 1:10 left and three timeouts.

Needing one first down to seal the game, the Panthers and Canales correctly took one last risk, letting Young throw on third down instead of conservatively running the ball into the line to use up Miami’s final timeout. Win or lose, I loved that call. Wide receiver Hunter Renfrow drew a pass interference penalty on the play, and that was that.

Now Miami isn’t a good team, and Carolina will have to play better than this to beat, say, Dallas at home in a week.

But this was the sort of game that provides a fan base with hope — and a locker room, too. The Panthers have come back from 17 points down to win three different times in their history before Sunday. The most notable: The 2003 season opener against Jacksonville, when Jake Delhomme was inserted at halftime, leading both a comeback and, eventually, a team that made Carolina’s first Super Bowl.

The 2025 version of the Panthers doesn’t have the talent to make the Super Bowl. No chance. But they do have enough talent to make life interesting, if they just don’t disintegrate like they did the week before (a 42-13 embarrassment of a loss at New England).

For Sunday, at least, Panthers fans who stuck with the game had two excellent options.

In person, it was great. On TV, it was great too, thanks to the local flavor provided by Charlotte Hornets announcer Eric Collins, who moonlighted by calling the first NFL game of his career for Fox Sports. Although I was at the game in person, I kept the broadcast on to listen to Collins, who seamlessly worked in mentions of the Gaffney peach water tower and the Charlotte 49ers while immediately outperforming at least half of all the NFL play-by-play guys working today. Collins deserves another chance at doing this stuff.

And after Sunday, the Panthers do, too. At 17-0, this felt like a team that a lot of people were about to give up on. But then they won and looked again — at least for a week — like a team very much worth watching.

  • MONSTA X’s THE X is ‘N the Front’ of Our Playlists

    [ad_1]

This is not a drill! MONSTA X are here in full, and they have new music for us! They are back and proving they don’t know the meaning of the word “limit,” as they are always ready to exceed themselves. And we think you’ll agree with us when we say their album, THE X, is a great example, especially since it’s been a while since we got a 6-member comeback. There’s just so much to celebrate, and we’re here for it all!

Listen to MONSTA X’s THE X here.

MONSTA X just knows how to get our attention with their music. Be it with title tracks or B-sides, they tend to offer us a range of styles yet manage to always incorporate the essence of the group. This time, they come for us with a powerful main song that showcases much-deserved confidence, which we will gladly take in as a confidence booster for ourselves. After all, we’re proud to be Monbebe, so it’s only natural to get positive energy from our favorite group.

“Wanna see you in the front”

MONSTA X did it again! They ate with ‘N the Front,’ and we can only stare in awe. While the song already slaps on its own, the music video definitely ended us! We hope you are ready because it’s a definite no-miss, must-see release. The MONSTAs always go hard, but it feels like they went even harder this time.

‘N the Front’ feels like a statement, announcing to the world that MONSTA X is back and they’re taking the front position. They fittingly use a variety of scenes to visually amplify that statement in their music video. But visuals aren’t the only strong instrument they have at their disposal. One of the more powerful moments created by the lyrics has to be “Hands up! Say my name, hey,” and here’s why! While that line is repeated multiple times during ‘N the Front,’ we don’t hear them mention their group name at all, not even once. MONSTA X are simply a force that is recognized.

There is one more thing that we take from this focus track, and that is the freedom it brings. The music video begins with the words: “We all act normal/pretend to be normal/but we know/we all have a ‘MONSTA’ inside.” Then add the message that feels like a call to action and is seen throughout the clip: “Be real you, let the ground shake.” No one but us can set our own limits, and MONSTA X‘s ‘N the Front’ is an inspirational anthem to help release our true potential and take the front of our own lives.

We can already tell what a powerful vibe this track will create during live stages, especially at concerts. It’s the perfect way to hype up your whole audience and yourself as an artist. And if we had to pick, we think the chanting near the end, combined with those perfectly included ad-libs, is the highlight that will get you fully losing yourself to the song.

“Make the ground shake, bring the earthquake
Feel the floor crack, we are not fake
Make the ground shake, bring the earthquake
Make the ground shake, bring the earthquake
Feel the floor crack, we are not fake”

An Album Of Milestones And Beginnings

MONSTA X’s THE X celebrates a milestone of 10 years as a group and also sets the stage for a new start. So, what kind of album were we to expect? Something unexpected! From the impactful and somewhat mysterious teasers, we could already tell this was going to be big and new. After we heard the pre-release track, ‘Do What I Want,’ we were mind-blown. It was our first taste of THE X, and it felt so different from what we are used to, but at the same time, it is very much them (especially with that wild video 👀).

THE X does not miss highlighting some of the members’ production and writing skills as well. Joohoney, I.M., and Hyungwon once again bring their exquisite talent to create high-quality playlist additions for us. Once again, bring their exquisite talent to create high-quality playlist additions for us. We’re beyond words, and the fact that we’re having trouble picking a favorite speaks for itself. But that’s more than okay; we will simply be vibing and loving on the whole album equally.

MONSTA X’s THE X is and will stay a memorable release for so many reasons. It stands out as a comeback that showcases the reunion of the members after most of them completed their military service. The name of the album also celebrates the group’s 10 years through the usage of the Roman numeral “X.” And (yes, we’re not done) it bears the meaning of something unexpected, unpredictable: just how we can’t tell how MONSTA X will surprise us next. We just know it will be a great experience.

Did you enjoy MONSTA X’s THE X? Which track are you going to press the replay button on endlessly? Find us at @thehoneypop, Facebook, and Instagram, and let’s discuss (while losing our minds over this comeback).

  • So, About That Justin Timberlake Tease Of New *NSYNC Music… – Perez Hilton

So, About That Justin Timberlake Tease Of New *NSYNC Music… – Perez Hilton

    [ad_1]

*NSYNC fans, you’d better take a seat, because you’re not going to be thrilled about this news.

On Monday, Justin Timberlake stopped by the Kelly Clarkson Show where he seemingly teased that he and the boys were making new music together. As fans will remember, J.T., JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick came together last year to make their first song in over two decades for the movie Trolls Band Together, appropriately titled Better Place. And when speaking about said reunion, the Bad Teacher star teased:

“That was fun. It’s kind of crazy. There’s so much that picks up right where it left off as far as chemistry. We’ve been in the studio. So there may be a little something in the future.”

Related: How Britney Spears REALLY Feels About Justin’s New Music!

“We’ve been in the studio”?? So, like, either new *NSYNC music for Justin’s upcoming album, or for an album of their own?? Well, as it turns out, neither really are true…

On Wednesday, insiders at RCA Records told TMZ that the 43-year-old’s tease was strictly in reference to the boys recording BACKUP vocals for his upcoming album, Everything I Thought I Was

So, in other words, it sounds like it’s not a proper *NSYNC reunion! It all apparently happened when they came together for Better Place… But RCA Records was adamant that it’s not new *NSYNC, and if another reunion ever were to happen, it’d definitely be more of a collaboration of all of the guys rather than just mere backup vocals for JT’s work.

As for now, though, the outlet was told Justin is focusing solely on his own new music, which we all know struggled upon its debut. Some of that is because of Britney Spears fans, but RCA also suspects it could be because fans are just hungry for more *NSYNC.

Reactions, Perezcious readers??? Are you disappointed? Let us know in the comments down below!

  • Retro Fashion Trends Making a Comeback in 2023 – Where Did U Get That

Retro Fashion Trends Making a Comeback in 2023 – Where Did U Get That

    [ad_1]

A growing interest in capsule wardrobes and conscious shopping has had many people gravitating toward quality over quantity. And it’s no coincidence that we’ve been dipping back into our archives and memories to revive the iconic pieces of the past that have stood the test of time. Whether you’re interested in an investment purchase to last a lifetime or seeking out a retro silhouette, let’s dive into the retro fashion trends making a comeback in 2023.

    Bucket Hats

In 2023, bucket hat iterations include everything from fuzzy, teddy bucket hats to low-key elegant versions in silk and other luxe fabrics. Top off a breezy, springtime outfit with a bucket hat or go for a monochromatic look!

    Camouflage Print

No matter how you felt about this trend back then, it’s kinda hard not to love it now. My camo cargos are men’s vintage (tip!). When it comes to the mix-and-match approach, try teaming a camo piece with other patterns or pair it with a sexy silhouette as I did here with a corset for a cool mash-up. The juxtaposition is what makes camouflage feel modern! It also helps the fabric shed its utilitarian rep. Check out some lookalikes I found below.

    Slip Dresses/ Spaghetti Straps

I rarely come across a slip dress that I’m not drawn to (I swear!). Delicate slip dresses were a staple in every ’90s girl’s closet. Style them with multiple layered chokers and cowboy boots for an effortless look.

    Jackie

Boasting a half-moon hobo-style silhouette, the Gucci Jackie feels contemporary to this day – in all its versions. Again, it may be 62 years old, but the Gucci Jackie 1961 doesn’t show its age. It’s cool, it’s classic and it’s an accessory that looks so damn good.

Any other retro fashion trends you’ve got under your radar?
