  • 4 Atlantic Records Artists We’d Love To Hear ROSÉ Collab With

4 Atlantic Records Artists We’d Love To Hear ROSÉ Collab With

We’re beyond ecstatic to see what the next chapter holds for BLACKPINK, and we’ll get to see what it holds for ROSÉ very soon! She just signed a global deal with the iconic Atlantic Records with THEBLACKLABEL handling management. Does this mean we’ll be getting new music shortly…? We have all of our fingers crossed!

Rosé also recently announced her fandom name, Number Ones (what a coincidence, supporting her is one of our number one priorities), and her @vampirehollie Finsta page to share more exclusive content with fans. So much is coming and we can’t wait to learn more! While we wait, let’s celebrate her Atlantic Records signing by imagining the perfect collabs with her new labelmates.

    Bruno Mars

Much like Bruno Mars, we feel that Rosé has a timeless voice that could fit all sorts of retro vibes. Whether it’s a ballad like his Lady Gaga-assisted ‘Die With A Smile’ or an upbeat song like ‘Locked Out Of Heaven,’ we know they’d make a great pair! Their voices would be such a beautiful complement to each other and we’ll be dreaming of hearing them together until it happens.

    Cardi B

Okay, we know we’ve technically gotten a Rosé x Cardi link-up because of BLACKPINK’s ‘Bet You Wanna,’ but let us dream a bit! We’d love to hear Rosie and Cardi team up again, especially if Rosé is going with a different sound for her solo work than we usually hear from her. The possibilities would be endless with these two talented ladies! We think a song about finding who you are and staying true to your most confident self would be fantastic, especially now that we’ll be meeting new sides of Rosé as a soloist.

    Coldplay

Consider this our official petition to get one of Rosé’s ‘Viva La Vida’ covers out on streaming services. Or better yet, give us an official remix adding her vocals to Coldplay’s classic. Orrr give us a new song that has Rosie trading lines with Chris Martin. We’re not picky, we just want to hear them sing together! They can each move audiences so easily with their music, so a collab between them would change the world.

    Kelly Clarkson

Much like Rosé, part of why we love Kelly Clarkson so much is because she’s a master at capturing emotion with her voice! A collab between these two would easily become one of our all-time favorite songs. We’d imagine it as a passionate, lower-tempo track like ‘GONE,’ which would let them show off their vocal and storytelling talents so well. And then we could get a Rosé appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show to see them sing it together!

Which of these collabs would you be most excited to hear? Do you have any predictions for Rosé’s upcoming music with Atlantic Records? Let us know in the comments below or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

  • New Releases We Are Streaming This September

New Releases We Are Streaming This September

September is finally here, which means we’ve got tons of new music to listen to! From full-length albums to singles and EPs, our fall playlists are getting longer and longer every week. We’ve pulled just a few favorites from the queue to share with you (we know you’ll love them just as much as we do), so get cozy honeybees! It’s time to start September off on the right musical note.

    Joe P’s Garden State Vampire

You are crazy if you thought this album wasn’t going to make our list! We’re screaming bloody murder for Joe P because he’s our vampire crush wish come true 🩸. New Jersey may just be that girl. So many influential musicians have come from NJ like Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, and now Joe P! We are so excited to watch his fame grow and grow.

From his latest album, Garden State Vampire, Joe P explores themes of nostalgia, feeling like you don’t belong, and learning how to love yourself.

One of the reasons I named the album Garden State Vampire is that I really thrive in being in a place that no one pays much attention to, instead of living in Nashville or L.A. or New York like a lot of people in the music business. It’s kind of nice to feel like I’m alone on a different planet, where the only thing that matters is staying true to whatever these songs want to be.

Joe P stated in a press release

Check out the music video for one of our favorite tracks, ‘Violet.’

You can catch Joe P live at Sea.Hear.Now in his home state of New Jersey or on his other world tour dates for the rest of 2024.

Jessie Reyez’s ‘RIDIN’’ Featuring Lil Wayne

We will ride for Jessie and her music forever! Jessie knows how to curate the perfect vibes for every season. That’s why we simply had to add this song to our September list. ‘RIDIN’’ is an extension of her hit ‘SHUT UP,’ which we loved just as much. Two songs with similar themes…does this mean an album is coming soon?

    SOFI TUKKER’s BREAD

This duo is cooking up some heat in the kitchen! BREAD is an album full of every song you could ever need in a playlist. The love songs, the bangers, and the chill ones that every music lover would deem essential. Our faves are ‘Spiral,’ ‘Perfect Someone,’ and, of course, ‘Throw Some A**.’

The BREAD world is vivid – a celebration of life and sensuality intended to give the listener energy, just like carbs. Bread is also something people all around the world use to connect, gather and share. We’re reminded that it feels amazing to lose your inhibitions, feel energized and dance. The creative thread throughout BREAD explores togetherness, the magic of the Brazilian essence, which the music is inspired by, as well as a playful surrealism that says: live life to the fullest, eat all the BREAD, and BE REALLY ENERGETIC AND DANCE.

  • Coldplay Debuts New Song With Little Simz at Glastonbury

Coldplay Debuts New Song With Little Simz at Glastonbury

    Photo: Jim Dyson/Redferns

Among thousands of sparkling lights, Coldplay debuted a new song with Little Simz during their headlining set at Glastonbury. Seemingly titled “We Pray,” the track comes from their upcoming album Moon Music, slated to release in October. Their fifth time headlining the festival, the group, led by Chris Martin, is kicking into album release mode. Their first single (which will probably make a live debut tonight as well) “feelslikeimfallinginlove” was a costly project; the music video reportedly cost about €3 million to make, according to a Greek news outlet. Below are some fan videos of the single debut.

  • Michael J. Fox Joins Coldplay on Guitar During Glastonbury Headlining Set, Little Simz Makes Appearance to Debut New Song

Michael J. Fox Joins Coldplay on Guitar During Glastonbury Headlining Set, Little Simz Makes Appearance to Debut New Song

Go, Johnny, go! Coldplay brought Michael J. Fox onto the Glastonbury stage on Saturday night to play guitar during the group’s headlining set.

“The main reason we’re in a band is because of ‘Back to the Future,’” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin shared after the performance. “So thank you to Michael, our hero.”

Before launching into “Humankind,” Martin freestyled lyrics to point out members of the crowd — this included Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis and Fox. Fox played with the group for the song and stuck around for a performance of “Fix You” too.

“With his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff: ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Michael J. Fox,” Martin announced as the actor took the stage. Fox, who has been battling Parkinson’s Disease since 1991, was wheelchair bound for the performance.

The group also brought out rapper Little Simz earlier as a surprise guest, debuting a new collaboration. The title of the track is rumored to be “Supernova,” with the chorus prominently featuring the lyrics “and so we pray.” Burna Boy also has a verse on the song, though he was not present for the Glastonbury performance. Palestinian singer Elyanna was also on stage assisting with vocals.

Simz’s surprise appearance came after she played the Pyramid Stage directly before Coldplay. Prior to Simz coming on stage, the band ran through a slew of its biggest hits, kicking it off with “Yellow,” slowing it down with “The Scientist” and performing “Viva La Vida” with a live orchestra.

As Coldplay’s set came to a close, after playing “Sparks,” frontman Chris Martin asked the crowd to hold their hands up and send their love to “Israel or Palestine, to Ukraine or Russia, to anywhere you want.”

Earlier in the set, Coldplay welcomed Victoria Canal for “Paradise.” The 25-year-old singer-songwriter joined the band on vocals and piano.

Coldplay are Glastonbury legends — the rock band, led by Chris Martin, made its first appearance at the fest in 1999 and went on to headline in 2002 (replacing the Strokes last minute), 2005, 2011 and 2016. This year’s performance marks Coldplay’s fifth time with top billing, making the band the first act to do so.

Saturday night’s show followed last week’s news that the band’s 10th album, titled “Moon Music,” is due on Oct. 4. The first single from the record, “Feels Like I’m Falling in Love,” dropped on Friday. “Moon Music” was produced by hitmaker Max Martin, who has worked with everyone from Britney Spears to the Weeknd. The album will be the band’s first since 2021’s “Music of the Spheres.”

Coldplay is currently still touring “Music of the Spheres,” and has made a considerable effort to diminish its carbon footprint, so far producing 59% less CO2e emissions than their last stadium tour. Having surpassed $810 million in revenue, the “Music of the Spheres” run has become the third-highest-grossing and second-most attended tour of all time. The trek is set to end in November in New Zealand.

Formed in 1997 at University College London, Coldplay’s current lineup includes lead singer Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion. The band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, making them one of the bestselling music acts of all time.

  • MOON MUSiC? We Eclipse You By Assigning Coldplay Songs To The Moon Cycle

MOON MUSiC? We Eclipse You By Assigning Coldplay Songs To The Moon Cycle

A cheesy pun is incoming in 2… 1… 0 (and no, we’re not just replaying grainy footage of the first moon landing, which will make sense in a lunar second), but every time we hear a new Coldplay-coined guitar riff, it genuinely ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove.’ At least, that’s the sensation we’re thinking washed over Budapest’s Puskás Aréna when the soul-hypnotizing British rock band crooned those adoring lyrics for a sold-out crowd. While the picturesque view of purple and blue planets surrounded the vicinity, the starry night sky held their backup singer. And yes, now we’re full-mooning it back to the celestial satellite. The single is off their upcoming album, MOON MUSiC, which comes out four months from now on October 4.

We’re already collecting moon photos in every shade of the rainbow captured on the screen behind the boys because we’re over the moon for this announcement! But we’re not done with the moon puns yet. No, there’s so much to explore, especially the cycle itself. Do you know there are eight stages? Of course you did. You’re already nodding your heads, annotating notes to that library of photos, waiting to see which song off the new album correlates to your moon magic and harnessing its powers to cast some manifestation! But for now, we’re following the theme by matching songs from their discography with each phase.

    New Moon

With its sparkling melody as soothing as the tumbling of waves seen in its lyric visualizer, ‘Hypnotised’ perfectly sums up the new beginnings that the New Moon serves us! How can it not be with lines like “Need a brand new coat of paint?” Circling us back to our ever-growing gallery of kaleidoscopic moon photos. There’s also a poetic touch in the closing couplet: “It was dark / Now it’s sunrise.” Don’t stray from us; MOON MUSiC matches our night owl energy. But its imagery supports the yin-yang, the unfolding of one contrast to the other. So, in this context, it’s the start of a new cycle.

    Waxing Crescent

Oceanic blue turtles spin mid-air to tumble into the subway, and 50s glamour girls with leis decorating their necks as they stand on a coastal galaxy are all things that occur when we’re on the ‘Up&Up.’ At least by Coldplay standards. Who wouldn’t want that? We’re there the minute a volcano doesn’t spew out steaming lava but heats some corn seeds to stream out a delicious snack: popcorn. Waxing Crescent is about rebuilding oneself. With as much spontaneity as this music video has, even if everything else appears dark, we know a splinter of uniqueness shines through.

    First Quarter

Who said Coldplay’s illustrious ‘Clocks’ went for around five minutes? Nah, they’re surely lying to us. Instead, it’s equivalent to the time we’re going through an upheaval, acting as our sound therapy until we stop hearing the ticking hands of time prolonging. Can we tell we’re not one for patience? The First Quarter Moon is usually when we swap out a “Not happy, Jan” for a lip-synced “Tides that I tried to swim against.” Do you think we’re going to compare our vocals to Chris’s? That’s just not another problem we need as the obstacles keep rising.

    Waxing Gibbous

We know. The exclamation point for Coldplay’s ‘Lost!’ aligns us with the fact that they are lost, mentally, at least, following a dumpster fire-licked to happier times. But then Chris follows it up with a “Doesn’t mean,” and we’ve got a whole juxtaposition on our hands here. It’s probably the type of reflection we’re doing during the Waxing Gibbous Moon. We’re a little unsure at the moment, which is okay. Because we know there’s soon going to be light.

    Full Moon

Speaking of moon manifestation, was your intention to spot Beyonce? If so, you’re so harvesting it this Full Moon. She shows up around the minute and a half mark, wearing gold. That’s the antennae-crested Queen Bee of our hive (not just The Honey POP hive, but generally!). ‘Hymn For The Weekend’ is the ultimate shot of happiness, checking off everything one needs from a good tune.

    Waning Gibbous

We swear we didn’t plan this (and okay, maybe that’s a slight lie.) Cast aside the fact that ‘Don’t Panic’ is so built into Coldplay’s discography that even the locals will give adoring nods of recognition upon hearing its gentle strum. It’s also the opener of Coldplay’s Parachutes, their first studio album, which has a yellow moon depicted on its album cover. That is the definition of synchronicity! However, one of this particular moon’s spiritual meanings is gratitude. And you know what also means that? Yup! It’s the Waning Gibbous Moon, acting as a time to appreciate what you have and to re-evaluate your goals.

    Last Quarter

We wouldn’t be rattling off Coldplay songs that help us through the tides of the moon if ‘Fix You’ wasn’t on it. That’s just blasphemous! From its iconic guitar rift, which has a feeling like we’re floating to another universe with the help of an alien’s ethereal vehicle, to the everlasting hope the lyrics give us when the only flickers of light we see are speckled stars, it’s just that tune. We don’t need any other cleansing modality during The Last Quarter Moon. Only this is injected into our veins.

    Waning Crescent

Let us regurgitate a fact if you have yet to click below! Coldplay’s ‘The Scientist’ follows Nathaniel Hawthorne’s short story The Birthmark. It portrays perfectionism through a scientist named Aylmer and his wife, Georgiana. Over time, their relationship decays, and the former becomes obsessed with his hatred for a birthmark on his wife’s cheek, wanting to remove it surgically. When he does, though, the wife dies at the birthmark, which was her life’s link.

There’s a beautiful line: “The birthmark would come and go with the emotions in her heart..” It runs congruent with ‘The Scientist’ in that the mark became more visible when love was forsaken. Written from the scientist’s perspective, hence the name, it’s his sorrows and regret of falling out of unconditional love. During the Waning Crescent, we could use this teaching for ourselves, treating us with so much self-care that we accept even our flaws.

Astrology whizzes hybridizing as Coldplay fans. Now is your time! What is your musical match-up to the correlating moon cycle phases? All of ours will appear different based on our personalities, most likely shaped by our birth charts and our music tastes. Tweet us @thehoneypop with your answers!

    Sustainability’s Out Of This Galaxy!

Then follow along on our Instagram and Facebook accounts! It may not be exactly Neil Armstrong’s level on a scale of five moons, but the band is setting their records, and you know we will keep covering it! MOON MUSiC will be the first ever 140g EcoRecord LP. Don’t have the 4-1-1 on sustainability? Collect your plastic bottles into a side bin and listen up—folks that have already done so might have just helped out in the making process of the album as the LP will be made from 100% recycled bottles.

The Ocean Cleanup also designed a Notebook Edition EcoRecord LP. Picture Chris Martin’s inspo mood board for this album, and that’s precisely what you’ll get with 28 pages of unseen goodies, voice notes, and demos because we’re genuinely getting spoiled here! And an EcoCD. However, all of these planet-saving perks, such as the sun turning into this emoji (🌞) with its glowing grin, also mean it’s limited! So, you know the drill. Dust off the space suit hanging up in your wardrobe, as that, along with a whole pile of other merch to celebrate this era, is over on their website.

  • Alan Walker and Kylie Cantrall Talk Their New Single, “Unsure”

Alan Walker and Kylie Cantrall Talk Their New Single, “Unsure”

Alan Walker has the It Factor when it comes to producing high-quality EDM tracks. At only age 18, he began trailblazing a path to become one of the most iconic DJ’s of all time by releasing his hit song, “Faded.” Now nine years later, Alan Walker has created a dynasty for himself.

He’s amassed over 80 billion streams over his audio and visual releases, he’s collaborated with major artists like Sia, Noah Cyrus, Coldplay, and Bruno Mars. Walker is no stranger to success- every song of his has the Midas touch and turns to gold. He inspires the sound of budding DJ’s and seasoned veterans alike…and now he’s back with another hit collab, “Unsure.”

“Unsure” is a leading contender for song of the summer for a few reasons: it combines Walker’s classic production skills and heavy bass with the strong, whimsical vocals of none other than Disney’s Kylie Cantrall. Perhaps an unlikely pairing to some, we can thank TikTok for bringing Alan and Kylie together.

Kylie Cantrall is a star in her own right. Described as the epitome of a triple-threat, she has her music career going strong with songs like “Boo’d Up” and stars on the Disney+ show, Descendants: Rise of the Red.

The song itself was created by Walker as he played around with different sounds and invited vocalists on the app to hop on the track. When Kylie Cantrall dueted Alan Walker’s “Unsure” remix, he knew this was going to be an instantaneous hit.

With an already impressive discography, “Unsure” feels unlike anything we’ve ever heard from Walker. This song feels a little bit more like the “Faded” style we all fell in love with…but Kylie Cantrall adds just enough flare to get everyone dancing. You can listen to “Unsure” here:

This week, we have an exciting double feature interview with Alan and Kylie, who talk about their experience making the track together, how it all came to be, and more. Check it out below!

    The Alan Walker Interview

AW: Congratulations on “Unsure!” How did you decide to team up with Kylie Cantrallon this song?
Thank you! It’s actually a fun story, it happened on TikTok! Over the last few weeks, I’ve been playing around with remixing various sounds from TikTok when I came across a video that became the basis for the song now called “Unsure.” When I posted the instrumental to find someone to do the vocals, Kylie jumped on it! She has an absolutely fantastic voice, so the choice was easy! PD: You debuted the single at your LIV Las Vegas show…What’s going through your mind when you play a song for the first time in a crowd?
AW: It’s always a bit scary to play a song for the first time, especially when no one has heard it before! But it went well, and fortunately, there was a great vibe!

PD: The music video takes place in Walkerworld. What was it like creating an immersive theme park on Fortnite?
AW: Haha, it was a journey! I really love gaming, so when we decided to go all in on creating our own map, it was a dream come true. At the same time, we learned a lotfrom the first release, and I’m looking forward to the next!

PD: You’ve had prolific career so far with hit songs like “Faded” and “Alone”…howwould you say your style has evolved over the years?
AW: My musical style has evolved through everything from experiences to sources of inspiration and collaborators. I enjoy jumping between genres and am not afraid to try new things. Actually, Unsure is more like the original “AW” style & so I’m eager to see the response!

PD: How does your production process differ from when you remix popular artists’ songs like Coldplay and Bruno Mars versus an original song like “Unsure?”
AW: All songs have different processes, so it’ s not necessarily about remixes or original tracks. But one thing that is naturally very different is that I work closely with a vocalist, and in this case, Kylie. It’s incredible to be in the process where we find thevocalist – and everything just suddenly clicks!
PD: What sort of songs do you like to remix?
    AW: Songs with great melodies!
PD: With three singles under your belt this year, can fans expect a new album on the horizon?
    AW: Yees!

    The Kylie Cantrall Interview

PD: Kylie, how can you describe this collaboration from your perspective?

KC: I think there’s nothing cooler than being able to use social media as a tool to connectand collaborate with people from all over the world, and that’s especially true in thisscenario. If it wasn’t for TikTok, I wouldn’t have stumbled upon Alan’s “Unsure” remix that I duetted which ultimately led to us releasing the song together. It happened quite out of the blue, but I’m so incredibly grateful that Alan gave me this opportunity. A duo we never knew we needed!
PD: You’ve made a return to music recently after a short break from releasing, what inspired this return?

KC: I’m always writing and recording music, but I know I can’t release anything new if I’min the middle of an acting project because I won’t have the time to focus my energy oncreating content that helps the promotion. So, that’s been the juggling act lately butI’m happy I have an open window right now that I can focus on putting new music out into the world.
PD: Tell us more about the process of creating ‘Boo’d Up’?

KC: Well, “Boo’d Up” is a cover song that I’ve loved for years. So, when my label said, “We really feel strongly about you adding a cover song to your upcoming album”, I immediately ran to the studio and began creating my own version of the record, and “Boo’d Up” became my latest single!
PD: If you could work with any other artist on your next collaboration, who would it be and why?

KC: I’d love to collaborate with Rema! My dad and I play the Rave & Roses album almost every time we’re in the car. He’s a melodic genius and seriously has one of the most incredible voices ever.
PD: You’re also an actress, do you find there’s any similarities in the process of doing both things?

KC: I really love the performance aspect of both acting and singing. I feel my most confident when I’m performing, whether I’m playing a character like the daughter of the Queen of Hearts or performing my own song in a music video, it’s so fun getting to tap into the bigger than life version of myself!

  • Royal Blood Takes Sea.Hear.Now By Storm

Royal Blood Takes Sea.Hear.Now By Storm

Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher are childhood friends who shared a love for rock-and-roll music growing up. With Kerr’s vocals and bass and Thatcher’s drums, together the pair created Royal Blood- manifesting their love of rock into a full-fledged rock duo sensation. The British duo have been making hits for a while now, amassing a dedicated fanbase for good reason.

Their knowledge of rock shows in their own music, playing into guitar riffs and big drumbeats that meld perfectly together. Their music quickly tops the UK charts, and together they earned the highly coveted Best British Group at the 2015 BRIT Awards- beating out One Direction, Clean Bandit, Coldplay, and alt-J. Since 2013, the band has put out four flawless studio albums, most recently Back To The Water Below.

The aforementioned album was a stylistic shift for Royal Blood, who abandoned their normal sound and tailored each song specifically- choosing instruments that sounded right for specific tracks. They completely produced the track independently, and they stayed true to Royal Blood by having fun doing it.

It can feel risky for artists to change up their sound completely, but with the duo’s growing confidence in their ability to make major music…there was no better time than now. With the success of their previous album, Typhoons, Royal Blood was able to create a full album unlike anything they’ve ever done before. It worked.

Back To The Water Below consists of 10 flawless tracks (and two bonus singles on the Deluxe version) that switch from graceful piano melodies to dream-pop bass runs seamlessly. It blends genres of pop, rock, and alternative without missing a beat, which is a sign of a band that knows who they are. You can listen to the album here:

Their performance at Sea.Hear.Now told me all I needed to know about Royal Blood: their confidence and swagger radiates onstage…and the new tracks like “Pull Me Through” truly encompass this new era.

Kicking off their North American headline tour at Sea.Hear.Now 2023, I sat down with singer and bassist, Mike Kerr to talk the new album, tour, and more!

PD: You released your new album this month, Back To The Water Below. What was the inspiration behind it?

RB: The inspiration is kind of always about reacting to the album you made before it, you know? So the album we made before was during COVID and lockdown, so it felt more like a studio album. With this album now, we made it for the live shows. Playing live and going back to that simplicity and who we are again is the main sort of inspiration.

PD: Would you say you had playing live in mind when you wrote the album?

RB: I think we always do. We get a lot of ideas- or beginnings of ideas- on the road when we were touring. So I feel like, yeah, it was always on our minds.

PD: This kicks off your North American tour- what are you most excited about with performing live?

RB: I think it’s just getting to be with our fans and getting that connection. We don’t get to come here as often as we’d like…and as COVID proved, you never know when the next time is that you’re going to get to be together. I think it’s about being in front of people.

PD: You’re childhood friends who shared a love for rock- who were your favorite artists growing up?

RB: Favorite artists would be The Beatles, Queen, Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, and Jeff Buckley.

PD: If you could summarize the album in a few words, what would they be?

RB: I would say melodic, English, and rock-and-roll…which I’m counting as one word.

PD: Songs like “Pull Me Through” are a bit of a stylistic shift for you guys. Were you consciously doing this while writing or did it just happen?

RB: It’s mainly something that’s just happening. I think when we start ideas that sound fresh, that’s usually the kind of reason to continue with them. I think when you’re writing and you feel like you’ve done it before, it’s not really inspiring.

PD: What are your favorite songs to perform live?

RB: “Shiner In The Dark” is my favorite at the minute and a song called “Waves”, which is the last track on the album.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Son Is The Spitting Image Of His Father In Rare New Photo

The Goop founder and the Coldplay frontman share two children, Apple Martin, 19, and Moses Martin, 17.

In a photo posted to Paltrow’s Instagram Story this week, the Oscar-winning actor posed with her son in Milan, apparently after the two watched a Coldplay concert there:

First of all, let’s acknowledge that this pic would fit right into an “Accidentally Wes Anderson” collection, especially considering Paltrow’s own history with the director.

But what’s most striking is Moses’ resemblance to his musician dad:

“I won’t let them be public on any social media or anything like that, I try to keep them out of the public eye as much as possible,” Paltrow explained on the “Literally! With Rob Lowe” podcast in 2020.

“Now it’s different, ’cause kids are like, ‘Can I have a YouTube channel?’” she said. “And I’m like, ‘No, you can’t. Absolutely not.’”

Chris Martin’s lung infection forces Coldplay to postpone shows | CNN

    CNN
     —

A serious illness has caused Coldplay to pause their tour.

The band announced on their verified Instagram account Tuesday that they would be postponing planned concerts in Brazil after frontman Chris Martin fell ill.

“With deep regret, we’ve been forced to postpone our upcoming shows in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo until early 2023,” the statement read. “Due to a serious lung infection, Chris has been put under strict doctor’s orders to rest for the next three weeks.”

According to the statement, the group is “working as fast as possible to lock in the new dates and will follow up with more information in the next few days.”

“To everyone in Brazil who was looking forward to these concerts, we’re extremely sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience, and we’re so grateful for your understanding at this challenging time where we need to prioritise Chris’ health,” the statement read.

Original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled shows.
