Blackpink once again returned to Coachella 2023 tonight, closing out the second night of the second weekend of the festival. Check out the stream below.
Blackpink were the first K-pop act to perform at Coachella in 2019, and they are the first K-pop headliners this year. An elaborate synchronized drone display preceded their Weekend 1 set, changing colors and taking form as a caterpillar, astronaut, paper crane, and other shapes. Blackpink issued their second LP, Born Pink, last September.
Jai Paul is on stage at Coachella playing his second-ever live show. And this time, you can watch it happen—catch the stream below from 10:40 p.m. Eastern.
His first show did not stream on YouTube, though fans devotedly documented the set. After that live debut, he announced four more spring concerts: two in New York next week, and two more in London in early May.
Elsewhere on the YouTube livestream, headliners Bad Bunny and Blackpink—plus Frank Ocean fill-ins Blink-182—will return each night. Rosalía, Gorillaz, Boygenius, Kali Uchis, and Charli XCX are among the other artists streaming their sets. For those on-site, check out the weekend two lineup and set times.
Gorillaz returned to the main stage at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday night, April 21 for a second weekend performance. Damon Albarn and the band performed in support of their recent album, Cracker Island, and celebrated a career-spanning set by bringing out a number of guests, including a face mask-wearing Bad Bunny for “Tormenta,” Beck on “The Valley of the Pagans,” Yasiin Bey for “Sweepstakes,” and Little Simz on “Garage Palace.” As with their Weekend 1 set, Gorillaz once again played “Feel Good Inc.” (with De La Soul), “Cracker Island” (with Thundercat), “Clint Eastwood” (with Del the Funky Homosapien), and “Dirty Harry” (with Bootie Brown). “I’m sorry, but Weekend 2 is better than Weekend 1,” said Albarn. See the band’s setlist, and watch a replay of their set, below.
Last year, during her first headlining set at Coachella, Billie Eilish brought out Albarn for a rendition of her Happier Than Ever track “Getting Older.” Albarn also did Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.” with Eilish and De La Soul’s Posdnuos.

Bad Bunny, the first of the three Coachella 2023headliners, returns to the festival grounds in Indio, California, for Weekend 2 following his previous history-making set. It’s looking like he’ll perform another career-spanning set that included hits from his most recent LP, 2022’s Un Verano Sin Ti. Check out his performance in the livestream below.
Bad Bunny is the first Latin or Spanish-language artist to headline the festival. Last weekend, he was joined by Jowell y Randy, Ñengo Flow, Jhay Cortez, and Post Malone across two hours and more than two dozen songs. During Gorillaz’s Weekend 2 set, not long before he took the stage himself, Bad Bunny joined Damon Albarn and company for “Tormenta,” from last year’s Cracker Island.
Bad Bunny’s performance of “El Apagón” during his headlining set at Coachella 2023 on Friday was accompanied a message appeared on the screens behind him that seemed to indicate beef between the Puerto Rican rapper and former Coachella headlinerHarry Styles. “goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el apagon,” it read. A representative for Bad Bunny told Rolling Stone that while the artist declined to comment, he did not approve that image.
Sturdy.Co, the company that provided the background visuals for Benito’s set, also noted to Rolling Stone that the artist didn’t approve the appearance of that tweet. “Our intention is to create light hearted designs that embody Bad Bunny’s personality and amplify the experience he presents as a performer,” reads an Instagram story from the company, which was viewed by Pitchfork. “The request from the artist during the visuals for ‘El Apagón’ performance was to use the image only and not text from the tweet, which we take responsibility for and correct it for Friday’s performance. These visuals are a celebration of Bad Bunny and his dedication to empowering his native island, Puerto Rico.”
When Bad Bunny shared the video for “El Apagón,” it was accompanied by a short documentary examining social and economic justice issues in Puerto Rico. He was joined at Coachella’s first weekend by Post Malone, Jhay Cortez, and others.
Coachella has been fined $117,000 for breaking curfew violations in Indio, California, representatives for the city confirmed to Pitchfork. The festival was supposed to wrap up by 12:00 a.m. PST on Sunday night, but Frank Ocean’s headlining set went over by roughly 25 minutes. Additionally, Coachella also broke the 1:00 a.m. curfew on Friday and Saturday by 25 minutes and 22 minutes, respectively.
These fines are part of an agreement between the city of Indio and Goldenvoice that took effect back in 2013. In that document, it outlines that going five minutes past curfew will result in a daily fine of $20,000. Every minute after that costs $1,000 per minute. The fines go towards Indio’s General Fund, which is allegedly used for operating costs, public works, and the police and fire departments.
Ocean’s headlining set on Sunday began nearly an hour later than scheduled. The reclusive Blonde singer performed reworked versions of songs from his catalog, deep cuts, and a few covers. Stemming from the main stage was a catwalk and circular platform at its end, but Ocean stayed on the main stage, primarily singing atop a stool and walking back to mingle with his live band. After the fact, it was revealed that Ocean injured his ankle earlier in the week and was ordered by doctors to modify his stage production.
It’s the last day of the first weekend of the 2023 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. As was the case with the previous two days, the festival is streaming live on YouTube. That means you can catch sets from Sudan Archives, Kali Uchis, Alex G, Weyes Blood, and more via Coachella’s YouTube channel. Check out YouTube streams from the Coachella stages below and stay tuned for updates.
Frank Ocean is due to headline at 10:05 p.m. PST and Björk will perform at 7:25 p.m. PST; however, the livestream operates on a delay and both of their broadcasted sets are not yet listed on the schedule. YouTube tweeted this: “Frank Ocean is not scheduled to appear on the Coachella livestream. The current schedule is in the description.”
BLACKPINK are the Friday night headliners at Coachella this year, closing out the second night of the festival on the Coachella stage. The group’s performance was preceded by a lengthy dubstep aerial drone sequence. Watch the group’s set below.
BLACKPINK were the first K-pop act to perform at Coachella back in 2019, in a Friday night slot that overlapped with Rosalía’s set. The same overlap happened again in 2023, with both artists taking higher billing four years later. BLACKPINK issued their second LP, Born Pink, last September.
The Weeknd performed six songs during Metro Boomin’s closing set in the Sahara tent at Coachella, including “Double Fantasy” from The Idol Vol. 1. It’s the first time he’’s performed the track, which he previously teased in an Instagram video in which he watches an orchestra perform the intro in a recording studio.
The Idol, the Weeknd’s forthcoming HBO show with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, is scheduled to premiere—out of competition—at Cannes Film Festival.
The debut of “Double Fantasy” was sandwiched late in his six-song set between appearances from Future (on “Low Life,” from his 2016 LP Evol) and both 21 Savage and Diddy (“Creepin,” from Metro Boomin’s second studio LP Heroes & Villains). Check out the set list below.
