  • Traitors fans dub Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby ‘the best duo ever’ as they win the 2026 series

    [ad_1]

Traitors fans have reacted with joy to Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby winning this year’s series.

After a nail-biting final, the Traitors outplayed the remaining Faithful and took the prize in dramatic style.

There were moments when both looked ready to turn on each other.

But when it mattered most, they held their nerve and saw it through together.

It was tense, unpredictable television. And the fact two Traitors made it to the end made the victory even more remarkable.

Fans have now reacted to Rachel and Stephen’s win.

Writing on X, one gushed: “So happy Rachel & Stephen deserved to win brilliant traitors!”

Another added: “So happy for these 2, was worried at start but their bond got stronger & stronger. They stuck together throughout & got the reward. Best traitor duo EVER?”

And a third penned: “How fitting that the two most faithful Traitors that have been on the show last until the end and win together. Amazing to watch.#TheTraitors has been fantastic once again.”

The Traitors: What happened in the final

The final picked up exactly where the last episode left off, with a brutal cliffhanger hanging over the Round Table.

James Baker and Rachel were locked in a deadlock, forcing Claudia to bring out the chests of chance to decide their fate.

When the boxes were opened, James found his was empty. Rachel revealed an immunity shield, sealing his exit from the game.

That meant James was banished from the game and Rachel moved forward with fellow Traitor Stephen and Faithfuls Faraaz, Jade and Jack.

The next morning, the remaining players faced their final Mission. Split into two teams, they raced to collect cash from floating pontoons before scaling a towering dam wall to meet Claudia.

Then came a final twist. They were offered the chance to win an extra £10,000 by running straight down the wall on a harness and sprinting to a waiting helicopter.

Rachel admitted she was terrified, revealing she had a fear of heights. But she shocked everyone by going for it anyway.

“I just saw Rachel sprint in front of me. I mean, she was insane!” Stephen said.

    The Final Round Table

With the mission complete, attention turned back to strategy and suspicion.

Both Rachel and Stephen appeared ready to sacrifice each other if it meant securing the win.

Stephen admitted: “Defending Rachel could actually spell the end of my game. If I don’t vote for her at the Round Table tonight, I think Jack and Jade will think it is really suspicious.”

Faraaz planned to remove Jade first, then target Rachel and win alongside Jack. Rachel, meanwhile, wanted Jade gone so she and Stephen could move forward together.

When the votes were cast, Jack voted for Rachel and Jade voted for Faraaz. But Rachel, Faraaz and Stephen all voted for Jade, sending her out of the game.

Rachel and Stephen win in The End Game

Rachel, Stephen, Jack and Faraaz then faced The End Game.

Each player received a pouch of sand and had to choose whether to banish again or end the game.

All four chose to banish. Faraaz voted for Stephen. Rachel wrote Faraaz’s name. Jack chose Rachel, while Stephen also picked Faraaz.

Faraaz was banished, leaving just three players standing.

They went again, and once more all chose to banish. Rachel voted for Jack. Jack voted for Rachel. Stephen stayed true to his word and voted for Jack.

That decision sealed it. Stephen and Rachel were declared the winners!

    How much did they win?

Stephen and Rachel shared a prize pot of £95,750. An impressive £19,000 of that total came from the final mission alone.

Split evenly, they each take home £47,875.

Claudia summed it up perfectly, telling them: “Two Traitors, but totally Faithful to each other.”

Both winners said they plan to spend the money on their families. Rachel hopes to treat her poorly mum to a holiday with the grandchildren.

    What. A. Triumph!

  • Inside the Strictly cast’s wild Blackpool afterparty – Tess and Claudia on the tequila; famous faces; legends return

    [ad_1]

Strictly hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman ended their final Blackpool show with a big party with stars of the show, past and present.

From enjoying tequila to having a drink with some famous faces, here’s a closer look at the Strictly Blackpool afterparty 2025…

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman party after final Strictly Blackpool party

This weekend (November 22), marked Tess and Claudia’s final time hosting the BBC dance show in Blackpool. The presenting duo announced earlier on in the season that they will be leaving the show this year.

After the Blackpool special results show aired on Sunday, Tess shared some snaps on her Instagram. And it seems the blonde TV presenter said goodbye to the iconic Tower Ballroom in style.

In one photo, Tess and Claudia posed for the cameras, with Claudia holding an open bottle of tequila in her hands.

Both stars are wearing white T-shirts with I HEART BLACKPOOL printed on them.

“Blackpool, you didn’t disappoint! From the warmest of welcomes to some truly incredible routines from our brilliant couples; the only downside – having to bid the fondest of farewells to @lavoixtheshow [heart emojis] She’ll be very much missed by us all xx,” Tess captioned the post.

Claudia looked to be in high spirits in the pic. Meanwhile, other partygoers could be seen milling around in the background of the snap.

    The afterparty

According to The Sun, this year’s Blackpool afterparty was cancelled by the BBC.

“The stars of this year’s show don’t want to be in a position where they could be linked to any wrongdoing,” a source claimed.

“There’s a feeling that if people are in the wrong place at the wrong time, it could reflect very badly on them.”

However, a party clearly did happen, as proven by some of the stars’ posts on social media! Read on and we’ll tell you all we know!

In a post shared by Amy Dowden, the Welsh dancer, Carlos Gu and her husband, Ben Jones, could be seen enjoying some time together after the show. Ben, 34, can be seen in one photo planting a big kiss on Carlos’ cheek. And, from the background, it seems like they were at the same location as Tess and Claude.

“We love you and are so very proud of you @gkx_carlos,” Amy captioned the post.

In another picture, Amy shared a picture of Carlos resting his head on Ben’s shoulder. Ben, meanwhile, could be seen with a drink in his hand.

“These two [heart eye emoji],” Amy captioned the story.

Enjoying a drink with Gogglebox stars and partying with Strictly alumni

Meanwhile, Lewis Cope and Craig Revel Horwood headed for a drink with Paul Chuckle! Yes, really!

The Chuckle Brothers star was also joined by his nephew and niece, Gogglebox favourites Pete and Sophie Sandiford. And, according to reports, the shindig took place at the Holiday Inn, where the Strictly stars were said to be staying.

Pete and Sophie are, of course, from Blackpool.

“I didn’t think anything could top one of the best #bbcstrictly episodes I’ve ever seen except a late-night catch-up with the phenomenon that is @lewiscope AND the growing Chuckle TV Dynasty that is @officialpaulchuckle @sophiesandiford1 @sandifordpete who are all as hilarious as each other,” Craig wrote on Instagram.

“Perfect candidates for 2026 if you ask me.”

After the show, Janette Manrara was seen posing for pictures with fellow Strictly stars Ashley Roberts, Alexis Warr and Katya Jones.

Janette also shared a picture of Ashley and Layton Williams in a bar after the show on her Story.

Looks like a fun night was had by all!

The celebs and their pro dance partners are back in rehearsals today (Monday, November 24), where they’re hopefully not nursing too big a hangover!

  • Concerns for “gutted” Strictly star Karen Carney as Claudia Winkleman rushes in to support

    [ad_1]

Strictly Come Dancing fans have rallied around Karen Carney after she revealed she was “gutted” by her Rumba routine on the show.

The glitzy BBC One show returned to screens on Saturday (October 25) for its Icons Week. As for football star Karen Carney, she transformed into Celine Dion for her performance.

However, it seemed that Karen was left disheartened by the judges’ feedback – with host Claudia Winkleman even stepping in to comfort her.

Karen Carney ‘gutted’ after dance on Strictly

On Strictly’s live show, Karen and pro partner Carlos Gu performed a Rumba to Celine Dion’s Think Twice. Afterward, the dancing experts on the panel had mixed feedback for Karen.

Shirley Ballas pointed out that “it went a bit wobbly” in the middle, but praised Karen as she “executed” some of the hardest rumba walks in the dance. Anton also noted that Karen got “tense” meanwhile Craig said her balance was “off” and the dance “lacked fluidity”.

    Sorry, I’m a bit gutted

After receiving their feedback, Karen and Carlos headed up to speak to Claudia Winkleman. However, Karen was clearly upset by the judges’ comments.

“Don’t make that face,” Claudia said, before telling Karen that the pros upstairs called Karen’s legs “perfect” when she danced.

“Thank you, as they mentioned down there, there’s about eight different walks,” Karen said. She then added: “Sorry, I’m a bit gutted.”

But her fellow Strictly stars didn’t agree and all said: “Noooo.” Karen continued: “It does happen but he saved it so, well done you [Carlos].”

Carlos was then asked how proud he is of Karen, considering how different the dance is to what they have done previously.

He said: “Saying proud is an understatement, I mean, how hard she’s been working and on her own. I tried to call her a bit independent this week because there is a moment for you to show your slo-mo skills, you are in control of everything.”

However, Claudia then interrupted Carlos after noticing how disheartened Karen looked. “Oh no baby, I don’t want you to be upset!”

Karen reassured her though and replied: “Oh no, I’m good, I’m alright.” The judges then gave their scores of Karen and Carlos’ dance, awarding them a total of 28 points. Surprised, Karen said: “Thank you.”

‘I just wanna give Karen a hug’

Meanwhile, fans watching at home soon shared their concerns for Karen following her reaction. One person said: “Aww Karen the dance was so pretty don’t let that knock your confidence.”

Someone else added: “I just wanna give Karen a hug bless her.” A third chimed in: “Somebody hug Karen Carney right now.”

Echoing their thoughts, another fan declared: “Karen looks a bit disappointed with that but she shouldn’t despite the slip up it was really beautiful!!”

  • Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman tipped for Strictly Come Dancing comeback as a contestants in ‘one of the most-talked-about twists’

    [ad_1]

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman made a shock announcement yesterday (October 23) that they were leaving Strictly Come Dancing at the end of this series.

The hosting duo decided to leave the show together, having fronted the show for 21 years. Strictly fans and dancers were left heartbroken by the statement. The women stated they felt it was “the right time” to walk away.

There have already been calls for them to return to the dance-floor again. But not as hosts… And exclusive odds from SportsCasting show us just how likely that is.

Calls for Tess and Claudia to compete on Strictly

Tess and Claudia shared a joint video on Instagram, and also gave their own personal statements. And have been hugely supported by those closest to them.

The announcement may have only happened 24 hours ago, but there is already quite a lot of speculation on their replacements. And there have been a lot of calls to get them on the show.

Pro-dancer Dianne Buswell, shared her hopes for them to be able to compete in an Instagram post dedicated to both of them.

She penned: “Tess and Claud, genuinely the coolest big sisters ever! So lucky to have got to work with you both for all these years! You will be missed dearly.

“Just a question, does this mean you can now compete on the show? If so, I bags the all girl partnership!”

Joanne Clifton also shared her hopes for them to be contestants. She penned: “I still can’t believe it. These two legends. Such a privilege to have been on the show with them. Now PLEASE come back as celebs and DANCE! Let’s make this happen!”

Fans are also hopeful that it might be happening next year. Taking to X, one penned: “Telling myself Tess and Claudia leaving is all a big hoax because they’re going to be contestants next year. Then they will just continue to present from the year after.”

Another added: “So, what I’m hearing is Tess and Claudia will be available as contestants next year…”

What are the chances of either of the stars to come back?

But could it actually happen? According to exclusive odds from SportsCasting, it seems likely that one of them will return in dancing shoes.

Currently the most likely is Tess (2/1), while Claudia is more of a “wildcard” (8/1).

Spokesperson Shane Orton told ED!: “With both Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepping down from their iconic Strictly hosting roles, there’s growing speculation about what’s next for the duo. A possible return to the dance floor in the future isn’t being ruled out. And it’s a move that would certainly surprise fans.

“Tess already has some form, scoring an impressive 36 for her American Smooth with Anton Du Beke on the 2008 Children in Need special. Claudia remains more of a wildcard.”

Shane continued: “At 2/1 for Tess and 8/1 for Claudia to appear as contestants, our traders at SportsCasting think a Strictly comeback could make for one of the show’s most-talked-about twists yet.”

  • Inside Strictly’s most controversial year yet as Tess and Claudia quit – drug scandal; inappropriate behaviour probe; tour axe

    [ad_1]

It’s fair to say it’s been a dramatic 12 months for Strictly Come Dancing – and it’s not even the end of the year yet.

The glitzy BBC One show kicked off the new series in September, with the likes of Vicky Pattison, Alex Kingston and Stefan Dennis taking part.

However, the series so far has been hit with a ton of drama, most recently, this week, when hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkelman announced they had quit the show. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes, too, in the run-up to their exit.

Here, ED! takes a look back at the scandals that have hit everyone’s favourite dancing show over the past 12 months…

The opera singer appeared on the show last year (Credit: BBC)

    Wynne Evans’ Strictly controversy

Wynne Evans appeared on Strictly in 2024 – and the singer and presenter had an eventful time on the show. This ended with him stepping back from the live tour at the start of the year.

He left the tour shortly after a video emerged of him making a lewd comment about Strictly co-stars Janette Manrara and Jamie Borthwick. After the scandal, Wynne issued an apology for his words.

In May though, Wynne reportedly launched legal action against tour producers for alleged medical negligence. The 53-year-old Welsh tenor is said to have suffered a double fracture and two torn ligaments after a fall during the Strictly Live tour earlier this year.

However, insiders claimed that instead of receiving proper medical attention, Wynne was bandaged up and told to carry on performing, despite being in “agony”. He is now said to be suing Phil McIntyre Entertainments, the company responsible for the tour, bringing more negative headlines for the series.

    Jamie Borthwick’s BBC axe

In April, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick found himself in the headlines following a scandal that apparently saw him brandishing a sex toy backstage on the Strictly tour.

It was reported by The Sun that 30-year-old Jamie, who played Jay Brown on the soap, had been told off by BBC bosses after filming himself waving the sex toy around backstage, along with Go Compare man Wynne Evans.

Holding up the flesh-coloured rubber toy, Jamie is reported as saying: “Look at what he bought me. I opened it up, and he surprised me with this, didn’t he? It’s so funny.”

What’s more, Jamie also found himself in hot water when a recording emerged of him using a slur against disabled people behind the scenes at a Strictly live event. The BBC then suspended Jamie for three months before confirming his exit from the soap.

In a clip obtained by The Sun on Sunday earlier this year, and casting a further cloud over the show, the actor appeared to describe the people of Blackpool as “absolute [bleep]s”.

In his statement regarding the incident, Jamie said: “I want to apologise sincerely and wholeheartedly for the words I used in the video showing my reaction to making it through Blackpool Week on Strictly.”

A drugs scandal reportedly hit the show this year (Credit: BBC)

    Strictly 2025 drugs scandal

Reports of a Strictly Come Dancing drugs scandal – concerning alleged cocaine use – generated headlines in August this year.

The Sun reported that the BBC has launched an investigation into alleged drug use by two Strictly Come Dancing stars. The BBC said it had “clear protocols and policies in place” for dealing with any serious complaints raised.

According to The Sun, the claims of drug use were made in a legal submission to the BBC in March by law firm Russells on behalf of Wynne Evans, a 2024 contestant. Additionally, it was claimed that others have also reported allegations of drug taking on Strictly to the BBC.

In an update surrounding the story, the Metropolitan Police issued a statement to the Mirror. “On Tuesday 12 August, the Metropolitan Police received an allegation about drug-related offences,” they said.

“Police are assessing the information, and further enquiries are taking place to establish whether there is evidence of a criminal offence being committed. We won’t be commenting further at this time.”

Strictly host Tess was alleged to have been “horrified” by the reports at the time.

    Thomas Skinner backlash

The news of TV personality Thomas Skinner taking part in Strictly 2025 was met with criticism by fans when it was announced in August.

Recognised as this year’s most controversial celeb, Thomas has been very open about being a Donald Trump fan. He has been accused of having “flirtations” with Reform UK too.

The Apprentice winner also admitted to cheating on his wife weeks after they tied the knot. Thomas claimed it was a one-off. However, the other woman insisted it was a three-month affair.

What’s more, Thomas ended up in the headlines again when he walked out of the competition’s first press event after allegedly grabbing a journalist’s phone.

However, Thomas’ Strictly journey didn’t last long. He and pro partner Amy Dowden were eliminated in the very first week.

Amanda Abbington was paired with Giovanni Pernice for Strictly 2023

    Gioanni Pernice

Another scandal that could tarnish Strictly’s reputation is the Giovanni Pernice drama…

In 2023, the Italian pro dancer was paired with Sherlock actor Amanda Abbington, who quit the show due to a disagreement over his training methods and raised concerns over his behaviour.

Following a nine-month investigation, the results saw Giovanni cleared of the most serious claims. These claims included ‘physical aggression’. However, the corporation upheld six of the 17 complaints.

For the 2023 series, Giovanni was axed and he moved from the UK’s Strictly to the Italian version of the show. This year’s series was the first time, since the findings were reported, that Giovanni didn’t return as a pro dancer.

    Tess and Claudia quits Strictly

On Thursday (October 23) Strictly hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman quit the BBC One show, with the presenters sharing a joint statement on social media.

Tess has hosted Strictly since the show’s launch 21 years ago. Claudia joined her in 2014. She previously hosted spin-off show, Strictly: It Takes Two.

The pair explained to fans that it “feels the right time” to leave. They also admitted they have “loved working as a duo”.

The BBC reacted to the shock news in a series of emotional statements. Kate Phillips, Chief Content Officer for the BBC, said: “I can’t quite believe I’m saying this. But it’s the end of an era with Tess and Claudia’s decision to bid farewell to the Strictly ballroom.

“They’ve both been such incredible hosts at the very heart of the show. Their passion and dedication has gone above and beyond. They’ve been integral to Strictly’s success over the last 20 years. But I understand why they’ve decided it’s time to hang up the glitter ball and get their weekends back.”

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday (October 25) at 6:20pm on BBC One.

Claudia has been a part of the Strictly family since its launch, fronting It Takes Two between 2004 and 2010, before co-hosting the results show between 2010 and 2013.

Since 2014, she has co-hosted the main show and results show alongside Tess.

“Claude and I have worked together for so many years now that we have watched each other’s children grow into young adults,” she said.

“Working with her is an absolute joy. What has she taught me? That I should never wear mascara to our script meetings because she has me laughing so much I end up crying it all off,” she then added.

    Tess on Strictly ‘highlights’

When asked what she was most excited for with Strictly every year.

“I think the most exciting part of the entire series for me, bar the final, has to be meeting the new cast of celebrities. The highlight of the launch show is watching that first group dance; the very first time we see the celebrities step on the dance floor. From that moment, I’ve learnt to spot who has the potential to make it all the way through the competition,” she said.

Tess then went on to discuss a highlight from last year that still stays with her.

“A real highlight I will personally never forget was during last year’s series when Chris McCausland danced the waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone. it was incredibly moving and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. You never forget how a performance made you feel and this one will always stay with me,” she said.

Tess on ‘key components’ of a winner

The Strictly host was then asked what components she thinks celebs need to win the Glitterball Trophy.

“This is a brilliant question and it’s quite a straightforward answer since, ultimately, a winner (and by the way it’s not just about lifting the trophy, there are always multiple winners each series!) – is someone who simply throws themselves into the show; the dancing, the hair, the makeup, the amazing costumes, the themed weeks-all of it,” she said.

“Ed Balls doing Gangnam Style is the perfect example of someone who did just that to brilliant effect. As did last year’s champion, Chris. I think when the audience sees someone who’s really embracing the competition and giving it their all; they tend to really get behind them,” she the added.

  • ‘The Traitors’ Draws Highest Ever Audience For UK’s Season 2 Finale (Spoiler Free!)

‘The Traitors’ Draws Highest Ever Audience For UK’s Season 2 Finale (Spoiler Free!)

    [ad_1]

The BBC enjoyed fresh success with its second season of The Traitors, which drew its highest ever audience with its second season finale airing on Friday evening in the UK.

A reported peak of 6.9million tuned in to discover the winner of the ‘blink murder’-inspired reality TV show, set in a Scottish castle, where ‘faithfuls’ must try to guess the identity of the ‘traitors’ who are meanwhile trying to bump them off one by one. This figure was up by 2.2million on the first season a year ago.

After Friday evening’s tense finale, the show’s winner pocketed a prize of £95,000 and told the BBC: “My legs are shaking. I just won £95,000. I underestimated this massively, you come here and there’s 22 amazing people, and from the off I’ve been a traitor.”

They added: “I’ve had enough of being naughty and being bad, because that was next level. I didn’t know I could lie that well and keep it up.

“The first couple of days I was struggling, because you’re lying to people and building relationships out of a lie. It was just mad.”

The show is one of the BBC’s biggest hits in recent years, and has already been commissioned for a third series. The Traitors is produced by All3Media-backed Squid Game: The Challenge maker Studio Lambert and the U.S. version has just kicked off on Peacock.

A third series for the UK has already been commissioned.

  • Harry wins The Traitors as BBC urged to keep series 3’s chosen Traitors a secret from viewers ‘so we all become Faithfuls’

Harry wins The Traitors as BBC urged to keep series 3’s chosen Traitors a secret from viewers ‘so we all become Faithfuls’

    [ad_1]

The final of The Traitors aired on BBC One tonight (January 26) and boy what an episode!

Drama, an intense mission and the ultimate “end game” round table.

But viewers at home were all wishing one thing as they watched – that they could play along as well!

Who won The Traitors? Harry was crowned victorious! (Credit: BBC)

The Traitors final – who wins?

After the first end game round table, all four players decided to banish again. Andrew was given his marching orders, with Harry, Mollie and Jaz voting again.

Mollie decided to end the game, Harry decided to end the game, Jaz decided to banish again.

All three had to pick a player to banish. Harry decided to banish Jaz, Jaz decided to banish Harry. This meant Mollie had the deciding vote. She banished Jaz, meaning he was eliminated from the game.

This left Mollie – a Faithful – and Harry – a Traitor – in the final two as the game ended. And it wasn’t long before Mollie realised she’d been mistaken in trusting Harry all along as he revealed himself as a Traitor and stole the entire prize pot.

Viewers want in on the decisions

Posting on social media, fans of The Traitors have decided they want in on the action. And so they’re suggesting that the BBC switches things up and keeps exactly who is a Traitor a secret.

“Wonder if there is a season 3, if they will consider NOT telling the audience who the Traitors and Faithfuls are so we are trying to work it out as well,” said one amaetuer sleuth.

“Would this work? In a new series they don’t tell us who the Traitors are, we literally all become Faithfuls watching at home and get to use an interactive app to all be part of the round table and vote each episode,” said another.

“The thought of finding out who’s been murdered and then trying to figure out why and who the Traitors are feels exciting,” a third agreed.

“I’d love to play along next year, please don’t tell us who the Traitors are!” urged another.

Series 3 – expect the unexpected

However, some spotted a flaw in the plan. “I’ve considered that. But you’d have no turret scene as it would give away who they considered murdering, it would probably be a lot less interesting.”

But, a fair bit changed from series 1 of The Traitors to series 2. So could the BBC switch things up and make a key change to the format next time around?

When it comes to The Traitors, anything is possible. Watch this space!

Another wrote on X – formerly known as Twitter: “The soundtrack on this series of The Traitors is incredible.”

A third quipped: “The main thing I’m taking away from watching @TheTraitorsUK for the first time is that if you’ve ever released a ‘dark’ cover of a pop song (ideally from the 80s), you’re pretty much guaranteed to be on the soundtrack.”

The soundtrack alone is a reason to watch,” said another. “No but seriously, where can I listen to the soundtrack?!” asked another.

As of yet, no one appears to have compiled a full Spotify playlist for the series, but here’s hoping they do by the finale!

The Traitors: Paul will 'throw fellow players under the bus,' warn viewers

    [ad_1]

The Traitors is finally back on our screens for a brand new series as Claudia Winkleman made her hosting return tonight (January 3).

22 contestants have headed to a castle in the Scottish Highlands for a thrilling new game of The Traitors as they try and compete for a potential £120,000 prize.

But who has been chosen by Claudia to become the Traitors?

The Traitors is back! (Credit: BBC)

    The Traitors on BBC

Three Traitors were picked by Claudia during the first episode. Their job is to kill off the Faithful. Paul, Ash and Harry will put their lying and betraying skills to the test this series.

The trio then made the decision to recruit one Faithful to join them. However, who the chose will be revealed in Thursday night’s episode (January 4).

Paul is so going to throw the others under the bus at some point.

But back to tonight’s first ep, it seems Harry has already got some eyes on him as Diane admitted she’s suspicious of him.

Meanwhile, viewers also reckon Paul will waste no time in throwing his fellow Traitors under the bus when he gets the chance.

One viewer said on X – formerly known as Twitter: “Paul would throw every other Traitor under the bus in a heart beat.”

Another wrote: “Paul is so going to throw the others under the bus at some point. He gives me those vibes.”

Someone else tweeted: “Paul telling Harry he was overthinking about Diane makes me think he’s ready to throw him under the bus in the future.”

Meanwhile, a fourth added: Paul… too cocky.”

Another agreed, writing: “Paul’s cockiness is going to be his undoing.”

Others fear Paul and Harry won’t last very long in the series. One person tweeted: “Paul and Harry are already making it obvious that they’re being sketchy. If at least one of them doesn’t get banished within three episodes then these Faithfuls will be worse than the ones from last year.”

Another wrote: “Paul and Harry won’t last long as Traitors.”

A third added: “Paul keeps smirking/smiling and Harry looks so guilty, idk how long either will last.”

Claudia Winkleman thought she would be sacked before series 2 of The Traitors

    [ad_1]

The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman has revealed how she thought she would be sacked before the second series of the hit BBC show.

The Scottish-set reality TV competition was one of the BBC’s biggest hits last year, earning a whopping 34 million views on iPlayer in March.

And now The Traitors is set to return for its second season, with the first episode airing on Wednesday (January 1).

Claudia Winkleman returns as host… although she has revealed that she feared that this might not be the case.

Claudia Winkleman reveals fears of ‘sacking’ as The Traitors returns

Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Claudia has opened up about her fears for her future on the show.

“I was hopeful they’d ask me back but you don’t take anything for granted,” she told the tabloid.

I don’t take anything for granted. You mustn’t do that because we never know what might happen

She continued: “And they phoned me and said, ‘We’re going again’, and I thought they were going to say…” she trailed off.

Claudia continued: “You know, I never take it for granted. Even with Strictly, I don’t take anything for granted. You mustn’t do that because we never know what might happen.”

What can we expect from The Traitors Series 2?

As before, a cast of 22 individuals will gather in a remote Scottish castle. There, a small number of competitors will be picked out by Claudia as this series’ Traitors.

The remaining members of the group – the Faithful – must then try to uncover the Traitors in their midst.

Every night, the Traitors will ‘murder’ one of the Faithful. The next day, the group must then attempt to banish those they suspect to be Traitors.

If a Traitor remains at the end of the competition, then the potential £120,000 prize pot will go to the Traitor(s) alone.
