The City of Hagerstown is removing parking meters due to theft and damage. The final phase of removal is underway, according to a community announcement.
Residents are encouraged to download the PayByPhone app for cashless parking payments. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play. For assistance with downloading the PayByPhone app or for more information, call 301-739-8577, ext. 479 or 445.
New PayByPhone signs will be installed at parking spaces throughout the city, with completion expected by the first week of September.
