    Citi Shop Your Way Card Rebrand

    Citi has notified Shop Your Way cardholders that the card will rebrand in early November. The rebrand will also include a new card rewards program.

    The letter mentions that “you’ll continue to be considered for exclusive cardmember offers with your card”, so hopefully cardholders with keep getting those lucrative spending offers.

    Here’s what you need to know:

      • No action required: Keep using your current card until your new card arrives. You will receive a new card by December 31, 2025.
      • No change to card number: Your current card number, APR’s and account history are not changing with this card replacement.
      • No change to managing your account: Continue to make payments, check online statements, set up account alerts and more at syw.accountonline.com with your existing sign-on credentials.
      • Cardmember Offers: You’ll continue to be considered for exclusive cardmember offers with your card.
      • Rewards Program updates:
        • Starting November 3, 2025, you will no longer earn Shop Your Way Additional Category Earn Program Global Points when using your Shop Your Way Mastercard. The Shop Your Way Additional Category
        • Earn Program is ending as of November 2, 2025. The Shop Your Way Points you’ve earned through November 2, 2025 will not be impacted by this change.
        • The points you’ve earned are still valid through the end of the quarter following one year from the date they were awarded.
        • Beginning November 3, 2025 the new card rewards program will start.

Here’s one sweet offer available for up to $150 credit, but you might see something different if you have the card.

    The Offer

    Earn a $50 statement credit each month when you use your Shop Your Way Mastercard® to make 5 eligible purchases each month of $60 or more each. Offer is valid 3/1/2024 (or from the date you activate this offer, whichever date is later) through 5/31/2024.

    Fine Print

    • Maximum bonus of $50 for each offer period.
    • This promotion is not transferable.
    • To qualify for this promotion, you must activate this promotion before the end of the promotional period.

    Guru’s Wrap-up

    This is a good offer that can earn you a $150 bonus on your Citi Sears Mastercard spending. You can get $50 every month for spending $300 (5x$60) or more. Check your emails to see if you were targeted.

    The Shop Your Way Mastercard currently has a $225 welcome bonus if you’re interested in applying. It’s worth noting that these lucrative spending offers don’t usually start coming right away. You might need to put some consistent spend on the card first. But once they start coming, they do so pretty frequently.

    Citi Shop Your Way Mastercard has new spending offers available for the next 30 days. These offers are targeted and you must have received it directly by mail or email in order to qualify. These are usually offers that last for about three months, but this latest promotion is only good through March 14. Check out the details below.

    The Offers

    These are some of the offers that I have seen so far:

    • Earn 250,000 Bonus Shop Your Way® Points when you make eligible online purchases totaling $1,000 or more.
    • Earn 200,000 Bonus Shop Your Way® Points when you make eligible online purchases totaling $750 or more.

    Important Terms

    • Offer valid from 2/15/24 (or the date you activate this offer, whichever is later) through 3/14/24.
    • Bonus points are in addition to what you already earn with your card.
