  • The Challenge Star Davis Mallory Says He Prayed The Gay Away… – Perez Hilton

Davis Mallory is opening up about *becoming* straight.

You may recognize the name if you’re a reality TV fan from way long ago. But if not: Davis was introduced to the world on MTV‘s The Real World when that show went to Denver for its 18th season in 2006. He publicly came out as gay during his time on that hit series nearly two full decades ago now. Then, he went on to be a mainstay on Real World-adjacent reality via three seasons of The Challenge, including The Inferno 3 in 2007, The Duel II in 2009, and Rivals in 2011.

Now, he appears to be trying to make it as a singer-songwriter. He’s also pretty religious. And to that last point, he claims to no longer be gay, either, thanks to an intervention from God. Uhhh…

Related: Daniel Franzese’s Shocking Conversion Therapy Story Will Make You Laugh & Then Ugly Cry!

The 42-year-old reality TV veteran took to Instagram on Monday with a video of him sharing his religious testimony at the Arise House of Prayer and Worship in Hawaii. During the video, Mallory at one point said “God really pulled me out” of the gay lifestyle last year.

    Huh?!?!

    His quote, in full:

“I lived the gay lifestyle for about 20 years. I was on a television show, The Real World, and I came out on the show as a gay Christian, but God really pulled me out of that lifestyle a year ago.”

The crowd began to cheer as Mallory continued trying to explain himself. He claimed God stepped in and pulled him out of the “spiritual warfare” he was involved in:

“He started speaking to me in my dreams and showing me the spiritual warfare that I was going through. Every time I returned to sin, I would have a nightmare that my car was being broken into. I had a nightmare that I gave my title to someone else, as I was giving my identity to someone else, or my car was sliding backwards. He was just showing me these really strong visual dreams, these visual images of what sin was doing in my life.”

And then, he played some music — performing his song Baptized for the crowd. He shared that performance in the IG vid, too, which you can see along with his caption (below):

“Thank you for letting me sing ‘Baptized’ and share my testimony last night in Hawaii.”

Wild, right?! Well, it gets a little wilder.

One day before he posted that eyebrow-raising clip, Mallory took to Instagram to share a screenshot from his Notes app. In that message, he wrote:

“I feel like God gave me this vision that us being righteous and following the law is his perfect plan for us. Sinning in anyway is not his plan for us and is not us honoring his design for how he made us. He did not design us to sin, and when we live a life of sin, we are not just dishonoring God, but we are doing a disservice to ourselves and our character.”

He captioned that post like this (below):

“This morning’s revelation… let me know your thoughts?”

But the eye-catching part was what went down in the comments. An IG follower of the ex-reality star asked straight-up if Davis still considers himself gay:

“Do you still consider yourself gay?”

To which Mallory offered a non-reply:

“What does it mean to be gay?”

Unmoved, the commenter shot back with:

“Are you attracted to men? Do you sleep with men?”

And to that, Mallory again offered up a non-reply:

“Do I find men beautiful? Yes of course. Do I find women beautiful? Yes of course. We are created in God’s image and in His likeness. The beauty of creation gives glory to the Creator. I’ll ask you this. What do you believe the design of sex is for? What do you believe is sexually immoral behavior?”

The commenter correctly replied that Mallory was “dodging” the question, then clarified even further what he was asking:

“Are you sexually attracted to men? And do you have sex with men?”

And to that, Mallory finally replied directly:

“To answer your question directly, then NO & NO.”

The user then asked if Mallory’s apparent sexual orientation reversal had come about after a “conversion therapy of sorts” in recent years:

“I watched you on The Real World when I was 21 and followed to a degree afterwards. Am I correct in assuming you participated in a conversion therapy of sorts?”

The answer? “Not really.” Mallory explained:

“Not really. But God started giving me vivid dreams and healed me from trauma and showed me the spiritual warfare I was under.”

Uhhh. Okay. Not sure where to go with that one. We just hope Davis is happy, healthy, and living out his life in the most authentic and beneficial way he can… whatever that means for him.

    Reactions, y’all? Share ’em (below).

  • Trump Blasts ‘Tyrants’ Like Democrats Who Deny Rights Come From God

Senator Tim Kaine – from the Commonwealth of Virginia – raised concerns across the nation when he stated that he found a foundational principle in the Declaration of Independence extremely troubling. The former Democrat Party vice presidential nominee seems to believe that our rights come from politicians and not Almighty God.

“The statement that our rights do not come from our laws or our government is extremely troubling,” Kaine said, comparing the idea that rights “come from the Creator” to the Islamic government of Iran.

“The notion that rights don’t come from laws and don’t come from the government, but come from the Creator — that’s what the Iranian government believes,” he said. “It’s a theocratic regime that bases its rule on Shia (sic) law and targets Sunnis, Bahá’ís, Jews, Christians, and other religious minorities. They do it because they believe that they understand what natural rights are from their Creator. So, the statement that our rights do not come from our laws or our governments is extremely troubling.”

Understand, though, what Senator Kaine is saying – he’s comparing our Founding Documents to Islamic law – sharia.  Our nation was created on a foundation of Judeo-Christian precepts and teachings – not Islam.

President Trump called out Kaine during remarks he delivered at the Museum of the Bible. He said he found the senator’s remarks to be very troubling.

“It is tyrants who are denying our rights and the rights that come from God and it’s this Declaration of Independence that proclaims we’re endowed by our Creator with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” Trump said. “The senator from Virginia should be ashamed of himself.”

“As president, I will always defend our nation’s glorious heritage, and we will protect the Judeo-Christian principles of our founding, and we will protect them with vigor,” Trump added.

Dr. Ben Carson, writing on X, said it is “deeply troubling  to hear Senator Kaine dismiss the truth that our rights come from our Creator. This is anti-American. When lawmakers believe they grant rights they believe they can take them away. That’s exactly the problem with some Democrats these days. I encourage the Senator to read our Declaration of Independence which clearly states that our rights are endowed by God, not granted by government.”

And Senator Kaine is not a far-left radical – like Jasmine Crockett or Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib. He’s a mainstream Democrat – from Virginia of all places. Therefore, we have no other choice but to believe that Democrats are comfortable rejecting the Christian teachings that flavor our Founding Documents.

I was at the DNC meeting in Charlotte in 2012 when delegates literally booed and heckled God. They tried to remove him from the party platform. So, maybe the senator’s remarks should not be all that surprising after all.

Speaker Mike Johnson, writing on X, said the senator’s remarks were unbelievable.

“On the eve of the 250th anniversary of our Declaration, a sitting U.S. senator insists we should no longer hold the most basic self-evident truth,” the Speaker wrote. “If our rights are given by government and not by God, then the government can simply take them away. We know that Democrats would love that, but you are not supposed to say it out loud.”

I wrote a book called, “Twilight’s Last Gleaming: Can America Be Saved?” My belief is that our Founding Fathers meant for the United States to be a Christian nation. And without God at the center of what we do — our nation will falter.

John Adams – our second president – said that our Constitution is wholly inadequate for anyone other than a moral and religious people.

Teddy Roosevelt said the teachings of the Bible are so interwoven and entwined with our whole civic and social life that it would be literally impossible for us to figure ourselves what that life would be if these teachings were removed.

Harry Truman – a Democrat – said “this is a Christian nation.” and Woodrow Wilson said America was born a Christian nation.

So, why are the Democrats so eager to evict Christianity from the public marketplace? I contend that Democrats believe they are created in their own image – not their Creator’s. They literally called Barack Hussein ObamaChicago Jesus.

Adams was right – when you take God out of the public square – you get chaos in the culture. Which is exactly what happened during the four years of the Biden Administration. Right is wrong, wrong is right. Our culture has gone slap crazy.

Your rights are God-given – not government-given. And no politician can take away that which God has given. This is especially true in the United States of America – the most exceptional nation on the face of the Earth.

It was a revolutionary concept 250 years ago and it’s still a revolutionary concept today. The United States of America – one nation – under God.

  • Leading The Way’s ‘AWAKE America’ Prayer Movement Announces City-Wide AWAKE Rallies

Boston, San Antonio and Washington, D.C., Will Be the First Cities to Host AWAKE Rallies

Dr. Michael Youssef, founder of the international Christian ministry Leading The Way and pastor of Atlanta’s Church of The Apostles, is taking the AWAKE America prayer movement on the road, beginning with a series of city-wide rallies this fall, aimed at mobilizing Christians for the next Great Spiritual Awakening in America. Building on a foundation of nearly 500,000 dedicated prayer warriors, AWAKE America will host city-wide rallies in Boston, San Antonio, and Washington, D.C., to see the American Church revitalized and believers empowered to reach their communities with the Gospel.

AWAKE America began in March 2020 as a prayer movement founded on one desire: to see the next Great Spiritual Awakening in America. Dr. Youssef, a naturalized American citizen who grew up under a socialist dictatorship in Egypt, launched the initiative out of a deep burden for spiritual renewal in the nation. Having witnessed the rich history of spiritual revival in America and the biblical ideals upon which the nation was founded, Youssef felt compelled to act.

“Several years ago, God laid it on my heart that I needed to go on the road – and He opened so many doors,” Dr. Youssef says. “There are places where people are saying, ‘We want you to bring this to our city.’ We want to do everything we can, including going on the road in America, to present a Biblical worldview and call people to Christ.”

The movement quickly gained traction, going viral on social media and amassing 100,000 participants within its first year. Now, five years later, AWAKE America has grown to nearly 500,000 prayer warriors, reflecting a widespread hunger for spiritual awakening among American Christians. This fall, Leading The Way is entering the next phase of the AWAKE America prayer movement: city-wide rallies across the nation, designed to strengthen the church and mobilize believers in some of America’s most influential cities.

“I don’t know how long the door [of opportunity] is going to remain open in America before we hear that the Bible is hate speech. In some countries, this is already the case,” Dr. Youssef says. “We want to walk through this door as long as God keeps it open. Because if we go to sleep, we’ll have missed a great opportunity.”

More than a series of events, AWAKE America is a movement to see the church revitalized and believers mobilized for Christ. Dr. Youssef, who became a Christian at 16 in 1964 and fled Egypt during the Six-Day War in 1967, brings a unique perspective to this mission. After living in Lebanon and Australia, he settled in the U.S. in 1977, became a citizen in 1984, and founded Leading The Way in 1988.

Additional AWAKE America events are in the planning stages for 2026, with details to be announced later this year. For more information on AWAKE Boston, AWAKE San Antonio, and AWAKE DC, including registration details, visit AwakeAmerica.com/Events.

  • Count on Him

    Count on Him

I heard something this morning that has stayed with me and has become embedded in my spirit, so I thought I would pass it along.

‘God is not schizophrenic.’   It sounds simple enough, but at cose inspection, this is pretty  powerful stuff.  When I looked for a biblical reference to elaborate on this point, there were actually too many to quote.

I mean  the bible is full of confirmation about God’s consistency and his unwavering faithfulness to us.  God keeps His promises and in HIs unpredictability, he is predictable.  God Loves us and no matter how hard we try to deny this, remove ourselves from this truth, the Bible never changes.  Warts and laws and faults, God loves us.

  • Dallas Bar Lee Harvey’s Backs Away from “He Gets Us” Super Bowl Ad

Dallas Bar Lee Harvey’s Backs Away from “He Gets Us” Super Bowl Ad

Earlier this week we reported on local bar Lee Harvey’s cameo in a Super Bowl ad. The “Know Your Neighbor” commercial included an image of a man sitting in a bar, smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer at the dive bar. This 30-second commercial for the Christian nonprofit He Gets Us ran during the second half of the game.

That evening, Lee Harvey’s shared news of the cameo on its Facebook page, along with a link to He Gets Us and a photo from the commercial. The Cedars neighborhood bar even changed its profile picture to the man sitting at the bar.

Many called out Lee Harvey’s for the, at best, odd alliance.

He Gets Us also ran Super Bowl commercials in 2023, spending around $100 million on two ads, which drew some attention. He Gets Us was at the time backed by The Signatry, which was supported by billionaire Hobby Lobby founder David Green, who has taken hardline religious stances. He opposed giving employees contraceptive coverage under the Affordable Care Act and carried the case to the Supreme Court, ultimately winning. He also opposed providing a transgender bathroom for employees.

Not exactly the kind of guy who would hang at Lee Harvey’s, right?

The comments poured in, with the sides split. Some praised Lee Harvey’s or were just happy for the small bar to get some air time. Others pointed out that The Signatry also gave $50 million to a group that endorsed criminalizing homosexuality, one that was named an anti-LGBTQ hate group by The Southern Poverty Law Center.

Dallas-based Lerma is the ad agency for He Gets Us, which might explain the local tie.

This year, through its website, He Gets Us backs away from the anti-LGBTQ ties, noting that it is now funded by the newly formed nonprofit Come Near and “(…) let us be clear in our opinion. Jesus loves gay people and Jesus loves trans people.”

Yesterday, Lee Harvey’s backed away also, changing its profile photo back to the old worn-out sign out front and posting a note that they love everybody and had no idea what the ad was for.

  • Christian College Shuts Down Satanic Rapper Lil Nas – 'We Continue To Pray'

Christian College Shuts Down Satanic Rapper Lil Nas – 'We Continue To Pray'

    Opinion

    Source: Lil Nas YouTube

The rapper Lil Nas, who infamously pole danced to Hell in his music video for his song “Montero,” was humiliated by the evangelical Christian institution Liberty University, which was quick to invalidate a letter he shared alleging that he had been accepted to their school.

Liberty University Denies Accepting Lil Nas

It all started on Tuesday, when Lil Nas took to social media to share a letter claiming that he’d been accepted to Liberty University while promoting his new single “J Christ.”

“I know twitter hates me right now but i want yall to know im literally about to go to college for biblical studies in the fall. Not everything is a troll! Anyways IM A STUDENT AGAIN! LETS GOOO,” he wrote alongside the alleged letter.

Liberty University, however, was not having any of it, as the school quickly issued a statement saying that Lil Nas had not in fact been accepted.

“We can confirm that Liberty University did not issue the Montero Hill ‘acceptance letter’ posted yesterday to social media, and we have no record of Montero Hill applying to the university,” the school told Billboard.

“Liberty University exists to glorify God by equipping men and women in higher education in fidelity to the Christian faith expressed through the Holy Scriptures,” the statement continued. “We continue to pray for America and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be proclaimed across this land. We welcome all to apply and join us at Liberty University.”

    J Christ Music Video

This comes after the music video for Lil Nas’ new song “J Christ” dropped early this morning, and it opened with a series of callbacks to his hellish video for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” including the infamous pole to hell and a demonic Lil Nas X stirring a cauldron of arms and legs.

Lil Nas, who directed the music video, can then be seen flying back up to Heaven, where he reunites with the Devil and plays a game of one-on-one basketball against him. The rest of the video shows Biblical vignettes like Jesus’ crucifixion, Nabal shearing David’s sheep, and Moses parting the Red Sea. It ends with Lil Nas turning into Noah and shepherding the denizens of Earth onto a large ark to survive this flooding world.

“Back up out the gravesite/ B—h, I’m back like J Christ,” Lil Has declares in the song. “I’m finna get the gays hype/ I’m finna take it yay high.”

The video ends with the screen saying “Day Zero” of “a new beginning,” sharing a quote from 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

    Lil Nas Defends Himself

Before the song came out, Lil Nas was widely slammed for using Biblical imagery to promote his music.

“The crazy thing is nowhere in the picture is a mockery of Jesus,” he recently said to defend himself, according to Variety. “Jesus’s image is used throughout history in people’s art all over the world.”

“I’m not making fun of s***,” he added. “yall just gotta stop trying to gatekeep a religion that was here before any of us were even born. stfu.”

In the end, we’re glad that Liberty University has distanced itself from Lil Nas, as he clearly does not belong at any kind of Christian institution. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments section.

  • ‘Superman’ Dean Cain Opens Up About Hollywood ‘Debauchery’ – ‘I’ve Asked Forgiveness For Those Things’

‘Superman’ Dean Cain Opens Up About Hollywood ‘Debauchery’ – ‘I’ve Asked Forgiveness For Those Things’

    Opinion

    Source: High Point University YouTube

Earlier this year, the former “Superman” star Dean Cain, who has long been known as one of the only openly conservative stars in Hollywood, fled the liberal-run state of California in search of a better life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now, Cain is opening up about the “debauchery” that he witnessed during his decades in Hollywood.

    Cain Talks Hollywood ‘Debauchery’

“I have my opinions,” Cain recently said, according to Faithwire. “You see a lot of debauchery in Hollywood. I’ve been debaucherous myself; I’ve done things that I’m not proud of. I’ve asked forgiveness for those things and I’ve mended my ways. There’s just so many things about being there.”

While Cain admitted that it’s possible to live a “godly” life in Hollywood, he made sure to add that it’s much easier to do so away from that world.

“You don’t find a whole lot of [Christian faith], certainly not openly, in Hollywood,” said Cain, 57. “That’s why I make all of the faith-based films that I make, because I want those messages out there. … I think those movies are really important.”

    Cain Focusing On Faith-Based Movies

These days, Cain is focused on making faith-based movies that “stick with” audiences.

“They may affect someone’s life and they may speak to an experience somebody understands,” he explained. “And, if that happens, I’ve done the right thing by making that film.”

In this same interview, Cain confessed that developing his relationship with God has been a “process” for him.

“We all have our own process,” Cain stated. “You may grow up in a household that’s full of Christian teachings and go to church every Sunday and still have those questions — and that’s natural. I believe it’s a natural thing, and everybody’s relationship with God is subjective, it’s unique, and the way they get there … is their own journey.”

“And I’ll just say, God and I have a lot more conversations now than we did when I was 25,” he concluded.

    Cain Flees California

Cain previously opened up about why he decided to leave the liberal world of California.

“I had to leave California,” Cain told The Messenger last month. “California has gone crazy in a sense. There’s been so much. Look at the taxation. Look at the regulations. Look at the silly laws that have been passed.”

“There were things that I didn’t agree with, and I’ve been voting here and living here and working here my entire life,” he continued. “I finally got to a place where I was like, I don’t agree with this.”

Cain went on to say that he has no regrets about moving to Las Vegas.

“It’s a big savings,” he added. “So much of it made sense. I’m so happy. It’s so much easier to travel places from Las Vegas than from LAX. It’s incredible. It’s the quietest place I’ve ever slept in my life. When I got here and saw traffic, I was like, ‘What is this foreign substance? I don’t like it anymore.’ I don’t deal with that at all. It’s great.”

We’re so glad to see that Cain is loving life in Las Vegas, and that he’s maintaining his close relationship with God. In the end, a godly American patriot like Cain is much better off far away from the “debauchery” of Hollywood!

  • 'L.A. Ink's' Kat Von D Reveals She's Often Called 'Demonic' Despite Being A Devout Christian

'L.A. Ink's' Kat Von D Reveals She's Often Called 'Demonic' Despite Being A Devout Christian

    Opinion

    Source: Theo Von YouTube

We previously reported that the former tattoo artist and “L.A. Ink” star Kat Von D had announced that she was abandoning witchcraft to become a devout Christian. Now, Von D is revealing that she is often called “demonic” because of her physical appearance despite her devout Christian faith.

‘I Get Called Demonic A Lot’

While appearing on Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast last month, Von D opened up about her strong Christian faith.

“Modern-day Christians are so used to being surrounded by people that look the same as them,” said Von D, 41. “When someone like me comes into the mix, it’s like, ‘Oh, wait, this is demonic.’ …  I get called demonic a lot. ‘You’re serving two masters.’ I’m like, I don’t think any of that is accurate.

“I don’t think there’s any dress code to be a Christian,” she continued. “But I get it a lot. … [After I posted] my last post, I thought it was a very cool modest image of me in a dress and some funny shoes, and the comments are just hilarious.”

    Von D’s ‘Relationship With God’

Von D came forward as a Christian back in October when she shared a powerful video of herself being baptized. Since then, however, Von D has felt like she’s been under a microscope when it comes to public scrutiny of her religious beliefs.

“It’s such an intimate and personal thing. My relationship with God is my own,” Von D said. “I’ve never really felt like I belonged anywhere. Especially now, I think being public with my faith puts you into like this microscopic, critical tank.

“At the end of the day, you know, my relationship is with God, not you,” she added. “I think because people have a hard time understanding [my] aesthetic and pairing that with something … like Christianity. I don’t understand why people don’t see how close-minded that is. Why would you think that you have to look a certain way to have an understanding of the Bible?”

    ‘I Paise God’

Von D has been open about how her faith has helped her to move away from the wild lifestyle that she previously enjoyed.

“I’ve always found beauty in the macabre, but at this point, I just had to ask myself what is my relationship with this content?” she said. “And the truth is, I just don’t want to invite any of these things into our family’s lives, even if it comes disguised in beautiful covers, collecting dust on my shelves.”

This was a reference to the books about witchcraft that Von D once studied.

“The last few years for me have been so rough behind the curtains,” she concluded. “I don’t share [it] all … But I’m still going to live in a state of gratitude. The world could be falling apart, and I’m still, like, I praise God.”

Check out this full interview in the video below.

Von D’s story serves as a reminder to all of us that one can never judge a book by its cover. Just because Von D looks the way she does, it does not mean that she can’t be a good Christian woman!

  • Candace Cameron Bure Rips Cancel Culture – 'I've Taken Punches Before'

Candace Cameron Bure Rips Cancel Culture – 'I've Taken Punches Before'

    Opinion

Source: Kirk Cameron On TBN YouTube

The former “Full House” star Candace Cameron Bure, who has long been one of the only openly Christian conservative stars in Hollywood, recently spoke out to blast cancel culture, something that she has frequently been targeted by.

    Cameron Bure Slams Cancel Culture

“I’ve taken punches before in my industry but it was at a level I hadn’t experienced yet, and it’s been very challenging,” said Cameron Bure, 47, according to Fox News. “Cancel culture is very real and they were trying to cancel me.”

At the end of 2021, Cameron Bure was hit with backlash over comments she made about her new network Great American Family.

“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core,” she’d said.

In her latest interview, Cameron Bure explained that while she wasn’t “shy” or “ashamed” of her Christian faith, the negative attention she got over her comments was difficult for her to deal with.

“So when I had a lot of these bullets kind of hit me in the last year or so, they’ve been a really big challenge to me personally, to my heart, to my character, to my relationships, to my jobs,” she confessed. “I remember being so upset over it because it’s like, how do you recover?”

“I could have bailed and just said, ‘You know what? I’m totally done with this,’ or ‘I don’t want to be a public figure anymore,’” Cameron Bure admitted, adding that she was never trying to stir up controversy with her marriage comments.

In the end, this experience taught her that anyone in the public eye who stands by their convictions needs to be prepared for criticism in today’s world.

“You have to be ready for some of those fiery darts to be thrown at you in a bigger public platform,” she said.

Cameron Bure had previously opened up about her “traditional marriage” controversy in February of last year.

“It’s difficult. And it’s hard, but listen, I just want to encourage you that you are not the only one and there are lots of us, and we are always stronger together,” Cameron Bure said while appearing on the “Unapologetic with Julia Jeffress Sadler” podcast.

“It’s hard, no matter what. Especially when you are a compassionate person and you have a heart for people,” she continued. “But it’s important that we speak truth in love, ’cause, listen, nobody’s gonna change, nobody’s gonna listen to you when it comes out angry, when it comes out in a harsh way, but it’s important that we don’t back down.”

Cameron Bure went on to talk about the importance of her strong Christian faith and knowing where to draw “the line in the sand.”

“If you know what your boundaries are, that’s the most important,” she explained. “Because if you don’t make them for yourself, the entertainment industry will make them for you. And that’s what you don’t want.”

Cameron Bure Talks Being A Christian In Hollywood

Cameron Bure also addressed the fact that she’s one of the only openly conservative Christian actors in Hollywood today.

“There are lots of Christians in the entertainment industry,” she said. “Some of them you have to find. Some of them are not as outspoken as others, because of the stigmas that might be around being a Christian in entertainment. But there are lots of us.”

God bless Cameron Bure for continuing to show the world that it’s possible to be a good Christian woman and still find success in the crazy world of Hollywood. Here’s hoping that she continues to overcome cancel culture in 2024!

  • 'Dukes Of Hazzard' Star John Schneider Prepares For First Christmas Since His Wife Passed Away

'Dukes Of Hazzard' Star John Schneider Prepares For First Christmas Since His Wife Passed Away

    Opinion

Source: John Schneider YouTube, John Schneider Instagram

The former “Dukes Of Hazzard” star John Schneider is preparing to celebrate his first Christmas since the death of his beloved wife Alicia Allain, who died back in February at the age of 53 after a battle with breast cancer. In a new interview, Schneider is opening up about just how difficult this holiday will be for him.

Christmas Is ‘Going To Be Rough’ For Schneider

“It’s going to be rough,” Schneider, 63, admitted to Fox News. “Grief is a funny thing. Grief will sneak up on you and smack you in the back of the head. Truly, when you least expect it. But usually right as you’re having a great time.”

“It’s almost like grief says, ‘No, no, no, no, no. You’re not going to smile today,’” he continued. “‘You’re not going to laugh today.’ But, you know, the notion that grief will ever go away is silly. Grief will never go away. It’s just something we learn to carry. And I’m learning. Not a lesson I ever wanted. Not a skill I ever wanted to acquire. But, you know, here it is. So I’m making the best of it.”

Schneider went on to say that he plans to celebrate Christmas in Nashville, Tennessee with Allain’s parents and her daughter Jessica, who she had with an ex-husband. They plan to honor Allain as best they can over the holiday.

“We’re going to spend all that time together, which is probably what we would have done if Alicia were here,” Schneider explained. “We’re going to celebrate her. We’re going to miss her. But it’s hard. It’s very hard. We’re going to celebrate such a wonderful, wonderful life and such a force in all of our lives.”

Related: ‘Dukes Of Hazzard’ Star John Schneider Thanks His Fans In ‘Letter To Heaven’ Months After His Wife’s Death

‘All You Can Do Is Hang On’

Spending Christmas with his in-laws and Jessica is “one big way” that Schneider will be continuing the Christmas traditions that he previously shared with Allain.

“My extended family through Alicia will always be my family,” Schneider added. “So I’ll be part of what they do, just as we were all part of what one another did for the last eight or nine years. So I’m going to keep that going.”

However, Schneider admits that he’s still not ready to think about what other traditions he’ll continue on with in the absence of his late wife.

“I would be I’d be lying if I said I had any kind of a concrete plan because you’re not ready,” he said. “You can’t be ready. It’s impossible. All you can do is is hang in and hold on. “

“I have found that helping other people, talking to other people who have experienced loss is a great, great way to strengthen yourself. It’s a great way to get a grip on yourself,” he continued. “So I do that as often as possible, and I encourage people to do the same.”

Related: ‘Dukes Of Hazzard’s’ John Schneider Credits His Christian Faith With Getting Him Through His Wife’s Death

Schneider Leaning On His Christian Faith

Schneider has been open about his grieving process for his beloved wife, crediting his strong Christian faith with helping him to deal with this unimaginable loss in another Fox News interview back in September.

“If it weren’t for my faith, if it weren’t for my belief, absolute belief that God is real. Heaven is real,” Schneider said at the time. “The promise of God that Alicia and I will see each other again forever. If it weren’t for that, I think I would have jumped off a bridge.”

“But I believe because my grandmother instilled it in me with one very brief conversation,” he continued. “I was about 8 years old, and she said, ‘Johnny, one of these days, I’m not going to be here anymore, but don’t worry, I’ll be with Jesus and you will see me again.’”

This is clearly not going to be an easy Christmas for Schneider. Please join us in saying a prayer for him during this difficult time.

  • Roseanne Barr Is 'All In' For Trump – 'If We Don't Stop These Horrible Communists…'

Roseanne Barr Is 'All In' For Trump – 'If We Don't Stop These Horrible Communists…'

    Opinion

The legendary comedian Roseanne Barr confirmed that she is “all in” for Donald Trump heading into 2024 while speaking at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest event in Phoenix, Arizona over the weekend.

Barr Is ‘All In’ On Trump

“‘I’m just all in [with Trump] because I know if I ain’t all in, they’re going to put my a** in a gulag… And I don’t wanna go to a re-education camp and have to give all my money to a bunch of losers that never know how [to] get a job,” Barr, 71, told the crowd, according to Daily Mail.

“If we don’t stop these horrible communists, Stalinists, with a huge helping of Nazi-fascist thrown in,” she continued. “Plus one caliphate to replace every Christian democracy on Earth now! Occupy! Do you know that?”

“We don’t care which party is wrong, we know they’re both nothing but crap!” Barr added. “They’re both on the take! They’re both stealing us blind! We just want the truth about everything we fought and died and suffered to protect!”

Barr later took to social media to explain that she had improvised most of this speech.

“I cannot believe I accidentally deleted my speech when making my last edit just before walking out,” she wrote. “I had to wing it last night, it was so scary. But I’m glad you guys liked it!”

    Barr’s Previous Support Of Trump

Barr has long been one of the only celebrities in the entertainment world who has unapologetically supported Trump publicly. While talking to Donald Trump Jr. on his “Triggered” podcast back in October, she gushed over the former president while also revealing why she thinks liberals are so against him.

“What I love about your dad is he is one funny guy!” Barr said of the former president. “He is so hilarious, and I think that is part of why they hate him. They hate humor. They don’t have any sense of humor about themselves — right there that is what a fascist is.”

“Someone in power who has no ability to laugh at themselves, has no self-reflection; they look in the mirror and there is nothing there,” she continued. “If you can’t laugh at yourself, you don’t have a soul. Your dad laughs at himself and everyone else and he makes everyone laugh. He has the heart of the comedian, which is why we all love him because he’s so funny!”

Calls For Barr To Be Trump’s VP

Earlier this year, the former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake called for Barr to be Trump’s running mate.

“I know that if President Trump needs a female Vice President, I’m starting to think right now as I’m sitting here: Trump—Barr,” Lake said while interviewing the former “Roseanne” star back in September, according to Newsweek.

“Well, you know, wherever I could be useful fellow and sister citizens,” Barr replied with a laugh. “I have the time and I think I’m smart and I’m definitely committed to the survival of this representational government of, by and for the people and I think that we can’t let it disappear from the Earth because it won’t ever come back.”

  • Congressman Randy Feenstra Welcomes Ryan Binkley as One of Four Presidential Candidates at Faith & Family With the Feenstras

Congressman Randy Feenstra Welcomes Ryan Binkley as One of Four Presidential Candidates at Faith & Family With the Feenstras

Presidential candidate Ryan Binkley took the stage before Vivek Ramaswamy and Ambassador Nikki Haley and after Governor Ron DeSantis at the highly anticipated Faith & Family with the Feenstras forum Saturday, Dec. 9, at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. No other candidates were present.

“We’re looking to make a strong finish in the next five weeks,” Binkley said. “We’re looking to finish in the top five in the Iowa caucuses in January. We’re going to keep pushing ahead.”

Binkley is on the Republican primary ballot in South Carolina, Idaho and Hawaii – all states where one candidate missed the filing deadline – and Maine, where another candidate did not qualify for the ballot. While one of his rivals has not campaigned in Iowa, Binkley was the first candidate to meet with voters in all 99 Iowa counties, referred to as the Full Grassley tour named for Sen. Chuck Grassley who popularized the tradition. Unlike some candidates, Binkley has focused his campaign on uniting Americans and reducing federal debt rather than adding to it.

“Republicans have spent as much money in the last 40 years as Democrats, just on different things,” Binkley said. “It’s time we change that.”

Unlike any of the candidates at Saturday’s faith-based event, Binkley is a pastor who has devoted years of his life to ministry. As the co-founder of Create Church with his wife, Ellie, and the father of five children, including an adopted child, Binkley epitomizes faith and family – the topics that Feenstra and his wife, Lynette, discussed with the four key presidential candidates and their wives or children in front of an audience of hundreds of Republicans.

Binkley has more than 80,000 unique donors who have contributed to his campaign, and he landed in sixth place ahead of Hutchinson in a recent national poll, where he surpassed Christie among millennials.

Binkley’s stature continues to rise as the field narrows, from 15 Republican presidential candidates in the summer to seven, including two who are not spending the time, resources and more than $600,000 in filing fees to get on the ballot in all 50 states and five U.S. territories as Binkley is.

Binkley is the co-founder and CEO of mergers and acquisition firm Generational Group. As a finance expert, he is introducing a new economic approach through his campaign proposals to secure the borderbalance the budgetreform healthcare and revitalize urban America.

Members of the media are invited to follow Binkley on the campaign trail, view his online press kit, and schedule a one-on-one interview by contacting his campaign press office at press@Binkley2024.com or 214-494-1792.
