  • JoJo Siwa & Chris Hughes Could Get Married SO SOON! His Dad Predicts Exactly When! – Perez Hilton

    [ad_1]

We knew JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes seemed ready to settle down with each other, but we didn’t realize how soon they possibly planned on it!

You know that the couple met and fell in love on Celebrity Big Brother UK back in April, while the singer was dating Kath Ebbs. After JoJo broke up with her partner a few weeks later, she immediately moved on with Chris. And the pair is moving super fast, even though they’re only a few months into the relationship! They already talked about marriage and babies — which could happen SO SOON! Well, the wedding part, so says Chris’ dad!

Paul Hughes told Dailymail.com on Friday that Chris and JoJo could tie the knot before Christmas! WHAT?! Does he know something that we don’t know? Did the Love Island UK alum pop the question already? Are they actually planning something? Because — get this — he also already has an idea of where the wedding would take place! There is apparently a small church in a Cotswolds village that is “perfect” for the two! Paul shared:

“It wouldn’t surprise us if they got married before Christmas, we’ve got St Mary’s Church just over the lane from us which would be perfect.”

Again, they’ve only been together for a few months! Getting married before the holidays, that’s wild! It’s a good thing the parents approve of JoJo and Chris’ relationship, or else this would be a drama-filled event! His father continued:

“Chris brought JoJo to meet us more or less as soon as they finished the show and she’s come to stay at the weekends a few times since then. Even though they live together on the outskirts of London, they like to come home here and relax. She’s a lot of fun and just mucks in.”

    Wow!

This comes after JoJo admitted she wants a traditional wedding with Chris — complete with the first dance, bouquet toss, the whole works. She said on the Reign podcast on Tuesday:

“I’m happy. I’ve never wanted the future so bad. I’ve never, ever wanted the love that I have to just continue to grow. I’ve never craved a wedding. I’ve always wanted to just like go sign a piece of paper or go to Vegas ’cause I didn’t wanna have a wedding. But now I’m like, ‘No, I want a ring and I want my Dad to walk me down the aisle and I want a first dance and I want butterflies.’”

Did JoJo come to this realization because she and Chris are already planning a wedding? Hmm. Well, if she wants a traditional wedding and for it to happen before Christmas, as Paul predicted, she’d better get to work on getting it together! The holidays will be here before you know it!

John Calipari officially named new head coach at Arkansas

    [ad_1]

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Hall of Fame coach John Calipari has agreed to a five-year deal with Arkansas to become their next men’s basketball coach, after announcing he was stepping down from Kentucky on April 9.

    What You Need To Know

    • John Calipari has agreed to a five-year deal with Arkansas to take the men’s basketball coaching job
    • Calipari announced on April 9 he was leaving Kentucky after 15 seasons, where he compiled a 410-122 record
    • The Wildcats had four Final Four appearances under his watch, including a national championship in 2012
    • The move comes weeks after athletics director Mitch Barnhart announced Calipari would return for a 16th season at Kentucky

In a news release, Arkansas announced Calipari signed a five-year deal to lead the Razorbacks at $7 million per season. The contract runs through April 30, 2029, with a maximum of two automatic rollover years for NCAA tournament appearances that would extend the contract to 2031.

The deal includes a $1 million signing bonus and retention bonuses of $500,000 each year of the contract. It also includes onetime bonuses for making the NCAA Tournament, reaching the second round, Sweet 16, Final Four and winning a national championship.

Calipari will be formally introduced on April 10 at 7 p.m. ET in Bud Walton Arena.

“By all accounts, John Calipari is one of the premier coaches in college basketball,” said Arkansas athletics director Hunter Yurachek. “A national championship coach, a four-time national coach of the year and one of the nation’s top recruiters, Coach Cal has consistently demonstrated his ability to attract outstanding talent and build championship teams within the Southeastern Conference and position his programs among the best in the nation.”

The announcement comes less than 24 hours after Calipari announced he was stepping down as the head coach at Kentucky, saying it was time for a “new voice” to lead the program.

The 65-year-old compiled a 410-122 record in his time with the University of Kentucky, along with a national championship in 2012 and three other Final Four appearances (2011, 2014 and 2015).

Overall, Calipari has an 813-260 record in 32 seasons as a college head coach. He led UMass to the 1996 Final Four and also spent more than two seasons as coach of the then-New Jersey Nets (1996-1999) before returning to the college level with Memphis in 2000, spending nine seasons with the Tigers. Calipari was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.

Eric Musselman served as the Razorbacks’ coach for five seasons before taking the head coaching job at the University of Southern California April 4.

A full rundown of Amanda Holden’s love life – from age-gap marriage to affair

    [ad_1]

Amanda Holden has had her love life and relationships well documented in the press and is now loved up with her husband Chris Hughes.

The star has been a successful name in the business for over 30 years.

While most will know Amanda today as a judge on BGT and a breakfast radio host for Heart, she has many acting roles to her name, including Cutting It, The Grimleys, and Kiss Me Kate. Tonight (February 9), she joins Alan Carr for Alan and Amanda’s Italian Job.

Since she’s been romantically linked to many familiar faces, here’s a full rundown of her love life…

    Amanda dated co-star George Asprey?

While not heavily documented, Amanda reportedly dated actor George Asprey in 1992.

The pair are said to have been in a relationship when they both starred in The Sound of Music.

Amanda admitted to affair while married to Les Dennis

Three years after she reportedly dated George, Amanda tied the knot with comedian Les Dennis in June 1995, who was 18 years her senior.

Despite the large age gap, the couple seemed happy to the public. That said, it was later revealed that Amanda had an affair with fellow actor Neil Morrissey.

For this reason, Amanda and Les temporarily split in 2000 and got back together shortly after. However, they permanently split in December 2002 before divorcing the year after.

Talking about their split at the time, Amanda got candid.

“I terribly want children but I didn’t want to have them with Les. That’s a horribly brutal thing to say, but when you do, you know you have to move on,” she said.

She also addressed the affair. Amanda told Good Housekeeping in  2013: “If a woman has an affair, there is normally a problem in their marriage. Neil rightly or wrongly got loads of stick. I feel like it was my fault – I was the one who was married.”

Amanda had children with her husband, Chris Hughes

After Les and her affair with Neil, Amanda found love in record producer Chris Hughes.

While engaged in 2006, Amanda gave birth to their first child, a daughter Alexa. The pair tied the knot two years later at Babington House in Somerset.

After wanting more kids, Amanda had a miscarriage in 2010 while their son was stillborn the following year.

In 2012, Amanda and Chris welcomed their second daughter Hollie.

Happily married to this day, Amanda honoured her husband on Father’s Day last year.

“You absolutely love your husband.. you don’t think you could love them more!! And then you watch them become a Daddy .. sometimes getting it right, sometimes getting it wrong but in all times.. a strong, wise, loving very funny presence in their lives,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Our girls are lucky to have you Chrispy!! My world right there.”
