    In a recent post on social media, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela announced the birth of their twin babies. The actor and his entrepreneur wife are now proud parents to a baby boy and a baby girl.

    Sharing the update, Chiranjeevi wrote, “With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, we are happy to share that Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela have been blessed with twins – a baby boy and a baby girl.”

    “Both the babies and the mother are healthy and doing well. Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings and good wishes. – Chiranjeevi & Surekha,” the actor added.

    Earlier, the couple welcomed their first child, Klin Kaara Konidela, on June 20, 2023. Later, on October 23, 2025, Ram Charan and Upasana officially confirmed that they were expecting again, marking another milestone in their growing family.

    The update was shared through a video during their Diwali celebrations at home. As the couple announced the happy news, several celebrities extended their congratulatory messages as they prepared to become parents once again.

    Initially, Upasana’s mother, Shobana Kamineni, confirmed that the couple was expecting twins. Now, the couple are proud parents to two daughters and a son.

    Ram Charan’s next movie

    Ram Charan will next be seen in the lead role in Peddi, a sports action drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is set against a rural village backdrop, with a cricket tournament at its core.

    The movie features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, marking her second venture into Telugu cinema after Devara: Part 1. The cast also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu, Jagapathi Babu, and several others in key roles.

    The music and background score are composed by AR Rahman. The first single, Chikiri Chikiri, was released earlier in 2025. The film is slated for release on March 27, 2026.

Many Bollywood celebrities like Kriti Sanon, Akshay Kumar, and others took to social media to pay tribute to the late actor, and even South Indian celebrities mourned the veteran actor’s death.
    Allu Arjun tweeted, “Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Legendary actor #Dharmendra ji. A legend who touched millions of hearts . My heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fans (sic).”

    4. Captain Miller’s OTT release date

    Dhanush’s Captain Miller is ready for its OTT premiere on Prime Video on February 9.     Anushka Shetty is reported to soon appear in a film alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi. The two big stars haven’t done a full-length film together as of yet; therefore, their rumored collaboration certainly sounds interesting, not just for their fans but also for Telugu cinema lovers. Allegedly, Anushka Shetty has been roped in to be a part of Chiranjeevi’s forthcoming big-budget pan-Indian film. 

    Anushka Shetty and Chiranjeevi might possibly collaborate soon

    The forthcoming film, allegedly starring Chiranjeevi and Anushka Shetty, is likely to be helmed by Bimbisara director Mallidi Vassishta. Reportedly, Mallidi Vassishta and the makers of Mega 157 were in search of a female lead for Megastar, and if reports are to be believed, their quest for an actress has led them to Anushka Shetty. It is no secret that Anushka is capable of holding her own when sharing the screen with the biggest of stars; therefore, it will be interesting to see the actress and Chiranjeevi teaming up. 

    Other names that were thrown into the mix in consideration for the female lead were Trisha Krishnan and Sonakshi Sinha. But it turns out that Anushka might have supposedly bagged the role.  Also to note, Trisha already has a very packed schedule, as she is both confirmed and alleged to be working on many other films that feature big names including Thalapathy Vijay, Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, and Kamal Haasan. 

    Chiranjeevi and Anushka Shetty’s previous collaborations

    Anushka Shetty has yet to be paired with Chiranjeevi in a film, but that does not mean that the two charismatic actors have never collaborated before. The Mirchi actress had made a special appearance in a song in Chiranjeevi’s 2006 film Stalin, which also featured Trisha Krishna. In 2018, Anushka made another special appearance in the historical film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, in which she played Rani Lakshmi Bai.

    As per reports, Mega 157 is being bankrolled by UV Creations, the production company that also backed Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty.

    Anushka Shetty has just delivered a sleeper hit with Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. The film, which co-stars Naveen Polishetty alongside Anushka, has completely won over the audience and even several celebrities, including SS Rajamouli, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ram Charan, and Ravi Teja. Many film personalities have praised the Anushka and Naveen starrer, which also includes Megastar Chiranjeevi.

    In a shocking news report today, popular actor Jr NTR‘s cousin Nandamuri Taraka Ratna has passed away. He was just 39 and suffered from a heart attack, state reports. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna was undergoing treatment at the Narayan Hrudayalaya hospital in Bangalore. Earlier today, it was said that Taraka Ratna’s health deteriorated and that he was in critical condition. Taraka Ratna suffered a massive heart attack at a local gathering in Chittoor, reports ETimes. His demise at such a young age has come as a huge shock for everyone in the South industry. Especially, to know that he was going to celebrate his birthday in just four days.

    Nandamuri Taraka Ratna grabbed headlines in Entertainment News when he was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed all of a sudden at a huge gathering in Chittoor. It was the inaugural of TDP’s Yuvagalam organised by CM Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh. After admitting him to the hospital, PCR was performed and other preliminary tests were conducted. However, his heart had stopped functioning before he was brought to the hospital. A report in ETimes also stated that a special team from the US was brought in to treat Taraka Ratna.

While the story and dialogues for the drama have been penned by Bobby himself, Kona Venkat, K Chakravarthy, Hari Mohana Krishna, and Vineeth Potluri are also a part of the film’s writing team.

    Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, GK Mohan is co-producing the movie. Arthur A Wilson has looked after the film’s cinematography, whereas Niranjan Devaramane is the head of the editing department.

    Waltair Veerayya is slated to release in cinema halls worldwide on 13th January next Sakranti in 2023.

    Megastar Chiranjeevi is all ready to charm the fans once again with his mass entertainer Waltair Veerayya. Made under the direction of filmmaker Bobby, the project marks his first association with the actor and director duo. Yesterday, the makers unveiled the song teaser for the primary track of the film, Boss Party. Composed, written, and crooned by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, the full song will be unveiled today, 23rd November.

    Recently, Pawan Kalyan paid a visit to the sets of the movie. Sharing a few sneak peeks of the Power Star’s visit, director Bobby penned on Twitter, “A Huge moment to be Cherished forever My 2 Most favorite persons Megastar @KChiruTweets garu & Power Star @PawanKalyan garu by my side Kalyan garu has seen #BossParty song & he loved it. Such a Positive person with same love even after all these years. #WaltairVeerayya.” The photos show the Bheemla Nayak star vibing to the number with the Megastar.

    Touted to be a mass-action entertainer laced with all the commercial ingredients, Waltair Veerayya is scheduled for a theatrical release on Sankranthi 2023.     Hansika Motwani gets engaged

    Hansika Motwani took to her Instagram and dropped some snippets from her filmy proposal by beau Sohail Kathuria under one of the seven wonders of the world, the Eiffel Tower. The reports suggest that the couple will be getting married in December this year. The nuptials are expected to take place between 2nd and 4th December. However, we still await the final wedding date announcement. According to the reports, the couple were close friends before getting romantically involved with one another and are also partners in a firm.

    As soon as she uploaded the post, congratulatory messages started pouring in for the newly engaged couple. Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty reacted to the post with, “Congratulations”, along with a heart and evil eye emoji. Additionally, Khushbu Sundar commented, “Oh wow!! Congratulations my dear.. wishing you the best.”

    Matti Kusthi first look poster OUT

    Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja unveiled the first look poster for the forthcoming sports drama, Matti Kusthi today. The photo features Vishnu Vishal as a star wrestler, gearing up for a big fight. The actor poses in a wrestling attire, flaunting his toned abs.

    Made under the direction of Chella Ayyavu, the film is being bankrolled by the production banner RT Teamworks in collaboration with Vishnu Vishal Studioz. With Vishnu Vishal as the protagonist, Aishwarya Lekshmi is playing the leading lady in the film. Set against a rural backdrop, the shooting for Matti Kusthi has been completed and the post-production work for the movie is currently underway

    Rajinikanth remembers late Puneeth Rajkumar

    Rajinikanth attended the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award function as the Chief Guest in Bengaluru yesterday. The late Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar was posthumously given the Karnataka Ratna Award during the ceremony. Addressing the gathering, the superstar remembered the Power Star with the following words in Kannada, “In Kali Yuga, Appu (Puneeth) is like Markandeya, Prahlada, Nachiketa. He was God’s child. That child lived among us for some time. He played with us and made us laugh. Later, that child went back to God. His aatma (soul) is with us.”

    He further disclosed why he could not attend Puneeth’s funeral, “I had undergone an operation and was in the intensive care unit (ICU).” The actor added that even if he had known about Puneeth Rajkumar’s death, he would not have been able to travel given his health condition.

    GodFather OTT release date

    After ruling over the silver screens, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s political thriller GodFather’ is all set to make its mark on the OTT platform. The much-appreciated project will premiere on Netflix on 19th November. Sharing the news, the streaming giant Tweeted, “Netflix on Wednesday announced the news on its official Instagram page. The post read, “The megastar of Tollywood meets the megastar of Bollywood! #Godfather is coming to Netflix on the 19th of November!(sic)”
