Normally, Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio. For example, 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points equal 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy. Now, for a limited time, you will receive a 65% bonus. That means that every 1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points that you transfer, will get you 1,650 Bonvoy points.

    Guru’s Wrap-up

The value of this promotion will depend on how much you value Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Marriott Bonvoy points. I have a subjective valuation of some of the major point currencies here, and I have a value of 1.7¢ for Chase Ultimate Rewards and 0.6¢ for Marriott Bonvoy points. While the valuation could be different for everyone, the math will still be against doing such transfers even with a 65% bonus.

However, this could work on some specific instances where you can get outsized value for your Marriott Bonvoy points, or if you just need more points towards a redemption.

Chase Ultimate Rewards Transfer Bonus, Get 25% More Southwest Rapid Rewards

🔃 Update (Oct 23, 2025) – Chase is now offering its best ever transfer bonus for the Southwest Rapid Rewards frequent flyer program. Get 25% bonus Southwest Rapid Rewards points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points between October 23, 2025 and November 6, 2025. Bonus points will be awarded by Southwest in your Rapid Rewards account after your transfer is complete. See full list of active transfer bonuses.

➡️ Original article (Oct 11, 2020) Chase has a rare transfer bonus for its credit card rewards customers. You can get a 20% bonus when you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to the Southwest Rapid Rewards frequent flyer program. Chase has one of the most useful rewards programs out there, will many travel partners. But, it very rarely offers these bonuses.

Normally, Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to each of its nine airline partners at a 1:1 ratio. For example, 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points equal 1,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards. Now, through October 31, 2020, you’ll get a 20% bonus on transfers to British Airways. Every 1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points transferred will get you 1,200 Southwest Rapid Rewards. While the regular points will transfer right away, it might be a short delay on the bonus points.

    Guru’s Wrap-up

This is a rare bonus from the Chase Ultimate Rewards program. If you normally use your Chase points for Southwest flights, then this is a big boost and an exciting offer. For others, it’s probably not worth it, unless you have a redemption in mind. Southwest points re normally valued between 1.5¢ and with this 20% bonus you can get a value of around 1.8¢. That’s a good value, but you can always do better.

Chase launched this week new limited time bonuses for transferring points three airline partners. Eligible Chase cardholders can transfer Ultimate Rewards points to British Airways Executive Club Avios, Iberia Plus Avios or Aer Lingus AerClub Avios with a 30% transfer bonus. The promotion runs through September 22, 2023. While not the best offer have seen, this is still a substantial bonus that makes award flights more affordable. Let’s see the details below.

    Offer Details

Normally Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus Avios and Aer Lingus AerClub at a 1:1 ratio. Now you can get 30% Bonus Avios when you transfer points between 12:00 AM ET on August 28th, 2023 and 11:59 PM ET on September 22, 2023. Bonus Avios will be awarded by the airline program account when your transfer is complete.

    • Minimum Transfer 1,000 points
    • Maximum Transfer 999,000 points
    • Transfer Increments 1,000 points
    • Bonus Avios will be awarded up to 7 days after the point transfer is completed.

    About Avios Program

Avios is the rewards currency used by British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Qatar Airways and soon Finnair. Each of the first three airlines offers their own U.S. credit card that earns up to 3X Avios. British Airways Executive Club is a partner with Amex Membership Rewards, Capital One, and Chase Ultimate Rewards. Avios can be used for booking flights on oneworld airlines that avoid fuel surcharges, which can yield substantial savings on taxes and fees. Here are some examples of the best uses for the Avios program:

    • Short-haul tickets are possibly the best value for British Airways Avios. Award fares start at 4,750 Avios plus about $22 for off-peak flights of 650 miles or less operated by British Airways.
    • Short-haul awards start at 6,000 Avios but exclude flights within North America. Partner flights in North America start at 7,500 Avios for flights 650 miles or less.
    • Fly from the West Coast to Hawaii for just 13,000 Avios on Alaska Airlines.
    • Short-haul flight to South America and Caribbean on American Airlines also provide great value. You can also get good deals on flight between Caribbean islands.
    • Trans-Atlantic Royal Air Maroc business fares for 60,000 Avios one way.

    Guru’s Wrap-up

This is not the best offer we have seen for transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to Avios. Previous offers have been as high as 40% and 50%. But this is still a good opportunity to extract more value from your points.

If you’re running low on Chase Ultimate Rewards, there’s also a 30% transfer bonus at American Express for the next few days. That 30% transfer bonus from Membership Rewards to British Airways, Aer Lingus, and Iberia, runs through August 31, 2023.

Chase Launches 20% Transfer Bonus to Aeroplan, Stack with 10% Cardholders Bonus

    [ad_1]

Chase Launches 20% Transfer Bonus to Aeroplan

Chase Launches 20% Transfer Bonus to Aeroplan

🔃 Update: This offer is available now through July 31, 2024.

Starting today, June 15 Chase has launched a new transfer bonus for Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Ink Plus, Ink Business Preferred, Chase Corporate Flex, and JPMorgan Reserve customers. Through the end of next month, you can receive a 20% points bonus when transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan Air Canada through July 31, 2023.

This exciting new offer gets even better when you stack it with the existing 10% bonus for Chase Aeroplan cardmembers when they transfer 50,000 or more Ultimate Rewards points in a single transaction from an eligible Chase credit card to Aeroplan by December 31, 2023. The bonus is limited to a maximum of 25,000 points per calendar year.

This means Chase Aeroplan cardmembers get a total bonus 30% when converting at least 50K Chase Ultimate Rewards points during this promotion, which would result in 65,000 Aeroplan points. To put it in perspective, an economy flight within North America starts at just 6,000 Aeroplan points.

But Air Canada gives you many more travel options, with access to more than 45 airline partners and 1,300 global destinations. With 65,000 points for example you can go from San Francisco to London, from Chicago to the Canadian Rockies, or NYC to Buenos Aires. You can even explore an extra destination by adding a stopover on international trips for just 5,000 points!

Keep in mind that Points Transfer is a redemption option available to Chase Ultimate Rewards customers paying an annual fee. This benefit allows customers to transfer points at a 1:1 ratio in 1,000-point increments. Eligible cards include Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Ink Plus, Ink Business Preferred, Chase Corporate Flex and JPMorgan Reserve. But you can also pool points that you earn from other Chase credit cards, as long as you have one of these cards.

  • Chase Offers 25% Transfer Bonus to JetBlue TrueBlue Program

Chase Offers 25% Transfer Bonus to JetBlue TrueBlue Program

    [ad_1]

The Chase Ultimate Rewards program is one of the most valuable points currencies, mainly because of its multiple airline and hotel travel partners. While the points can be converted to cash, or used to book travel through the Chase travel portal, the best value is when transferring to partners.

Now Chase has a 25% transfer bonus for one of its partners, the JetBlue TrueBlue program. This is a targeted promotion that is showing up for many cardholders, but not everyone. Check out all the details of this promotion below and see if this Chase transfer bonus for JetBlue is worth participating.

25% Transfer Bonus from Chase to JetBlue

Chase is offering 25% bonus JetBlue TrueBlue points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points now through January 10, 2024. The normal transfer ratio for JetBlue TruBlue is 1:1. So with this promotion you can get a 1:1.25 transfer ratio. That means that for every 1,000 Ultimate Rewards that you transfer, you will get 1,250 TrueBlue points. You can start your transfer here, after logging into your Chase Ultimate Rewards account.

You must be enrolled in JetBlue’s TrueBlue program in order to participate in this offer. Once you have transferred Ultimate Rewards points, they become subject to the Terms and Conditions of the TrueBlue program and cannot be transferred back to your Chase Ultimate Rewards program account. That’s why it is important to know how to use these points, and figure out what value you would get.

25% Transfer Bonus from Chase to JetBlue

There is a minimum transfer of 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points. You can redeem for this exclusive offer from 12:00 AM ET on November 15, 2023 and 11:59 PM ET on January 10, 2024 to receive 25% additional TrueBlue points. Additional TrueBlue points will be awarded at the time of transfer. Generally, transfers are immediate, even though Chase states that transfers process by the next business day and may take up to 7 business days.

Point transfers via Ultimate Rewards do not count towards earning Mosaic status.

Should You Transfer Amex Points to JetBlue?

This is a question that you must always ask yourself when you see these transfer bonuses. I always suggest not to transfer points speculatively, because once you transfer, there’s no going back.

The answer to that question also depends on your own needs, and the valuation you have for Chase Ultimate Rewards and JetBlue TrueBlue points.

In this case you’re not getting any outsized value for transferring Chase points to the TrueBlue program. JetBlue’s award flight pricing is tied to the cash price of the flight, although not at a fixed value. That means that there are no hidden gems. You will normally get a value between 1.2 and 1.4 cents per points, and maybe higher for Mint.

That means that with this transfer bonus, you’re getting a value of about 1.6-1.7 cents-per-point for your Ultimate Rewards. It’s not a bad redemption, but it’s not great either.

JetBlue Plus cardholders can get a bit more value out of their points. The card comes with a benefits that refunds you 10% of all redeemed points. The bonus is credited after completing your JetBlue award flight.

Chase JetBlue Transfer Bonus: Guru’s Wrap-up

This is a rare bonus, but that still doesn’t make it very exciting. Normally you can transfer 1,000 Chase Ultimate points to 1,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points. But now through November 30, 2023, Chae Ultimate Rewards is offering a 25% bonus, which makes it a 1:1.25 transfer ratio.

If you fly JetBlue frequently, then there’s nothing wrong with transferring points, and flying for “free”. This is better than cashing out your points, and it’s even better if you have the a co-branded JetBlue card. But Chase Ultimate Rewards are usually more valuable through other partners.

Let me know in the comments if you plan to take advantage of this Chase 25% transfer bonus to JetBlue? Also check out all the current transfer bonuses for other currencies.

Update 5/3/22: Deal is back through May 31, 2022. They increased the Freedom tier from 5% bonus to 10% bonus (updated below).

Update 11/1/21: Deal is back and valid 11/01/2021 – 11/30/2021

    The Offer

Direct Link to offer (shows in the Ultimate Rewards login)

    • Chase released today a new redemption option of Ultimate Rewards points to get Apple merchandise through the Chase portal with bonus value of up to 50% more on the points.

The bonus is broken down as follows:

    • Sapphire Reserve: 50% bonus
    • Sapphire Preferred: 25% bonus
    • INK Preferred/Plus: 25% bonus
    • Freedom cards and the no-fee Sapphire card: 10% bonus (20% on Airpods)
    • Ink Cash/Unlimited: 10% bonus (20% on Airpods)

Instead of each point being worth 1 cent, it can now worth up to 1.5 cents. For example, if you buy a $600 Apple Watch through the Ultimate Rewards portal, it would typically cost 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points, but it’ll now cost just 40,000 points for Sapphire Reserve cardholders.

    Our Verdict

For most people, using the Pay Yourself Back feature will make more sense to get the same 1.5%/1.25% value assuming you have enough dining/Airbnb spend to use up your points on. But overall it’s still nice to have an additional option and could be useful for someone with an Apple purchase to make. It also could be a little bonus for Freedom cardholders to bump up their earnings by 10%.
