  • Earn $500 Bonus with New Chase Business Checking, Get Your Code Now

    Chase Business Checking $500 Bonus

    Chase Business Checking Bonus

Chase is one of my favorite bank when it comes to bank bonuses. They usually have some of the best personal and business account offers. They are now offering a new bonus of up to $500 for Chase Business Complete Checking, and it doesn’t require a direct deposit. This is not the best bonus ever offered for this account, but it requires a $10K deposit instead of $20K required for the $750 bonus. Check out the full details below.

How to Earn Chase Business Checking $500 Bonus

To receive the business checking bonus:

    • Visit a branch or chase.com/business and open a new Chase Business Checking account using offer code.
    • Deposit new money into your checking account within 30 days of offer enrollment and maintain this balance for 60 days from offer enrollment. The new money cannot be funds held by your business at Chase or its affiliates. Business checking bonus and new money requirements are as follows:
      • $300 BONUS, with $2,000 or more.
      • $500 BONUS, with $10,000 or more.
    • Complete 5 qualifying transactions within 90 days of offer enrollment. Qualifying transactions are: debit card purchases, Chase QuickAccept deposits, Chase QuickDeposit, ACH (Credits), wires (credits and debits), Chase Online Bill Pay.

After you have completed all the above checking requirements, bonus will be deposited in your new account within 15 business days. Bonuses are considered interest and may be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable).

    Who is Eligible?

    • Offer is not available to existing Chase business checking customers and those who have closed accounts within the past 90 days.
    • You can receive only one new business checking account opening related bonus every two years from the last enrollment date and only one bonus per account
    • You can still get this offer if you have a personal checking account.

    Account Fees

Chase Business Complete Checking is the best option for this bonus. It come with a $15 Monthly Service Fee. You can avoid the fee with:

    • Maintain a minimum daily balance of $2,000 in your account as of the beginning of each day of the statement period
    • Spend at least $2,000 in purchases (minus returns or refunds) using your Chase Ink® Business Card(s) that shares a business legal name with the Chase Business Complete Checking account, using each of their most recently completed monthly card billing period
    • Deposit $2,000 into your Chase Business Complete Checking account from your QuickAccept℠ and/or other eligible Chase Merchant Services transactions at least one business day prior to the last day of your bank account statement period, or
    • Maintain a linked Chase Private Client Checking℠ account. Product terms are subject to change. Eligible Chase Merchant Services products include only those where the transaction history can be viewed through Chase Business Online, Chase Connect®, or J.P. Morgan Access.

    Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is a good bonus for a business checking account. You can do it online or in-branch. The only requirements for the $500 bonus are a $10,000 deposit that you need to keep in the account for about 31 days or more, and 5 qualifying transactions within 90 days. Considering the short amount of time that you need to maintain the balance of $10K, it should be a much better than any high-yield account.

Claim a unique code right away by entering your email. Do this sooner than later, because Chase often pulls these offers early.

It’s also worth noting that the $750 bonus is still around. There’s also a targeted offer for $1,500. Keep an eye out for those if you want that bonus instead.

Bank bonuses are a great way to earn some extra income, often from the comfort of your home. You can take a look at my bank bonus results for 2022 where I made over $6,000. If this bonus is not for you, then you can check our full list of available bank bonuses. And, if you’re new to bank account bonuses, you can learn more about churning bank accounts here.

  • (Update) Special Offer For Recent Approvals: Chase Sapphire Preferred & INK Cardholders Get $50 Chase Travel Credit – Doctor Of Credit

Update 9/28/25: Another round has gone out according to MtM

Update 6/26/25: Another interesting report came in today from a Reddit user who holds both Sapphire Preferred and INK Preferred. They initially only got $50 off a Chase Travel booking, but after using up that credit, another $50 credit appeared. If you got both of these cards within the past 1-2 years, check Chase Travel if you have the credit, and then check after it was used.

Update 6/24/25: To clarify, this $50 credit is a credit at checkout (unlike the CSP $50 hotel credit which is a statement credit. From what I’m reading, it appears this offer might be available for everyone who signed up within the past year-or-so (or possibly up to 1.5 years) on the Sapphire Preferred or INK Preferred, even if you didn’t get an email about it. Simply start a Chase Travel booking at see if they take off $50 at checkout, and you’ll know that you have the offer. (ht to reader RM)

    Original Post 6/23/25:

    The Offer

Chase is sending out an email with details of the new Points Boost information on the Sapphire Preferred card and on the INK Preferred card which takes away the flat 1.25% redemption option for a variable option, effective in October 2025.

They also note a special offer for new Sapphire Preferred cardholders who were approved within the past year-or-so:

    • Get a one-time $50 credit toward Chase Travel booking. That’s on top of the regular $50 annual hotel credit benefit. To redeem, just book your itinerary through Chase Travel by June 23, 2026.
    • Some INK Preferred cardholders are getting the $50 credit email as well.

    Our Verdict

Nice bonus $50 credit. I believe this $50 shows up as a credit in Chase Travel (?) while the $50 hotel credit comes as a statement credit. You should be able to use up both on $100 hotel booking.

Seems like they are trying to soften the blow of the new Points Boost which most of us consider a downgrade. For some reason they’re only offering the credit to new-ish cardholders.

  • Chase INK Cash & INK Unlimited: $900/90,000 Points Signup Bonus – Doctor Of Credit

    The Offer

    Direct Link to offer

    • Chase is offering increased signup bonuses via mychasecreditcards.com on the INK Cash and INK Unlimited no-annual-fee cards:
      • Earn $900 Bonus Cash Back after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.

    Our Verdict

The regular public offer is 75,000 points with $6,000 spend, and you do have the option of using a referral link to get that offer. This 90,000 points offer ties the best-ever offer on these cards, but is not currently available via referral link, so there is a trade-off here. (Perhaps it’s possible to signup through a referral link and then request a match.)

You can also go through Rakuten when applying for the INK Unlimited card and get another $25/2,500.

These are great offers with a relatively low spend requirement for a business card offer. We will add these to our list of the best credit card bonuses

    Our Verdict

There have been occasional $750 Chase business checking bonuses, but those are typically only for Private Clients or as a targeted deal. This offer is publicly available and works for accounts opened online. It’s easy enough to keep the account fee-free with the $2,000 deposit requirement or the $2,000 INK spend requirement.

We’ve added this bonus to our list of the best business bank bonuses.

Note: the bank has been withholding $120 of this bonus toward your estimated taxes, see this post for more details.

  • Chase “Float Pay”, Holding Payment For 7 Days – Doctor Of Credit

Reader and frequent contributor curmudgeon wrote it to let us know about something Chase sometimes does called ‘Float Pay’. They opened a new Chase Ink card, reached the credit limit, paid the card off in full but the card wasn’t showing any available credit limit. When Chase was contacted by curmudgeon they were told this was due to “Float Pay”:

Dear  Thank you for contacting us regarding your Chase Ink Business Cash® Card. I will be more than happy to review your inquiry regarding a Float Pay. I understand how important this is. , your payment of $xxxx.xx made on August 20, 2025 was held from the available credit to allow time for the payment to clear your bank account. The payment amount will show as effective the day it was received and will be applied to your available credit for immediate use after today, August 26, 2025. Float Pay applies a payment to your account, but it doesn’t release a corresponding amount of available credit until we confirm there are sufficient funds to cover the payment. Here’s more information about Float Pay: – A payment is applied to your account balance as of the day of receipt, but it doesn’t instantly reflect in the account’s available credit. – Interest charges stop accruing for the payment amount. – Funds are released within 7 days. – There are a number of reasons a payment can be floated – some are complex and proprietary. – Customers cannot opt out of Float Pay. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. If you have other questions about Float Pay, please call us anytime at the number on the back of your card; we accept operator relay calls. We appreciate you being a Chase customer. Thank you

From my research this doesn’t seem to be limited to new cardholders, but existing cardholders as well when the spend is higher than previous. It also doesn’t seem to happen if it’s an internal Chase transfer. Not a huge deal, just thought it was somewhat interesting.

  • Chase Starts Suing People Over ‘Infinite Money Glitch’

Chase Starts Suing People Over ‘Infinite Money Glitch’

Chase Starts Suing People Over ‘Infinite Money Glitch’

Back in August, a few videos went viral on X and Tik Tok with instructions on how to get free money from Chase and other banks. These videos were showing people celebrating the withdrawal of massive amounts of cash from Chase ATMs shortly after bad checks were deposited.

The viral videos described a “loophole” that included depositing fake checks for large amounts. Then they would withdraw funds before the checks cleared and bounced. Most banks will make a portion of deposited checks available right away. Chase was apparently a bit too generous here, but Fidelity and some other banks were also affected.

Days after the videos went viral, JPMorgan Chase clarified that this was check fraud. Now the bank has begun suing customers who allegedly stole thousands of dollars from ATMs by taking advantage of the technical glitch.

Today JPMorgan Chase filed lawsuits in at least three federal courts, taking aim at some of the people who withdrew the highest amounts.

One of those cases involves a man in Houston, Timipah Ikemi, who owes Chase $290,939.47 after an unidentified accomplice deposited a counterfeit $335,000 check at an ATM. The other lawsuits filed Monday are in courts including Miami and the Central District of California, and involve cases where JPMorgan says customers owe the bank sums ranging from about $80,000 to $141,000.

Chase says its security team reached out to alleged fraudsters, but it hasn’t been repaid for the phony checks. The bank says that this is a violation of the deposit agreement that customers sign when creating an account with the bank. Chase is seeking the return of the stolen funds with interest and overdraft fees, as well as lawyers’ fees and, in some cases, punitive damages, according to CNBC.

  • Chase Partners With DoorDash: Offers DashPass & Monthly Credits To Sapphire Reserve, Preferred, Freedom, Slate Cards – Doctor Of Credit

Chase Partners With DoorDash: Offers DashPass & Monthly Credits To Sapphire Reserve, Preferred, Freedom, Slate Cards – Doctor Of Credit

Update 10/24/24: The new credit starting February 2025 is a promo, meaning you can’t stack the credit month to month or with other promos.

Chase has partnered with DoorDash to offer DashPass and monthly credits to Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire, Freedom, Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited, and Slate cardholders.

Chase Press Release | DoorDash Press Release

There are four potential benefits now available, variously on these cards (as we’ll describe more below):

    1. Free DashPass membership through December 31, 2027. (Those who activate the benefit in 2027 will still get a full 12 months of the benefit.)
    2. Two promo discounts of $10 each calendar month will reflect at checkout. This promo will not work on restaurant orders; it only works on grocery, convenience, or other non-restaurant orders on DoorDash. (To activate the promo discount benefit, you need to first activate the free DashPass benefit. After activation, you’ll find the $10 under “Promo codes, rewards & gift cards” at checkout.)
    3. A $5 monthly DoorDash credit which works for all DoorDash purchases. This ends on January 31, 2025.
    4. Beginning February 1, 2025, a new monthly benefit for a $5 discount on restaurant orders on DoorDash.

Now here’s the breakdown of the benefits by card:

    • Sapphire Reserve cardholders get all four of the above-mentioned benefits. You’ll get DashPass through 2027. And through January 2025, you’ll get one $5 monthly credit which works everywhere and two $10 promo discounts each calendar month which work on non-restaurant orders. Starting February 2025, you’ll get one monthly $5 discount on restaurant orders and two $10 monthly discounts on non-restaurant orders.
    • Sapphire & Sapphire Preferred cardholders get DashPass and the non-restaurant credit. You’ll get DashPass through 2027. And you’ll get one $10 promo discount each calendar month which works on non-restaurant orders.
    • Freedom & Slate cardholders get a DashPass benefit and a quarterly discount benefit. Starting Febaruary 1, 2025, you’ll be able to enroll for six free months of DashPass. (Those who have not yet used the current/previous version of the DashPass benefit on Freedom and Slate cards have until January 31, 2025, to enroll in the current benefit – three months of free membership followed by nine months of discounted DashPass.) And you’ll get one $10 promo discount each quarter which works on non-restaurant orders. (To activate the promo discount benefit, you need to first activate the free DashPass benefit.)

    Our Verdict

For some time now, DoorDash and Chase partnered to offer DashPass and $5 monthly credits on the Sapphire cards. They’ve now expanded this to add the $10 (2x) credits each month and to offer benefits on Freedom and Slate cards as well. This is obviously Chase’s move to counter-balance the loss of the Instcart benefits offered on Sapphire, Freedom, and Slate cards which expired yesterday (7/31/24).

This is all a bit confusing since some of these benefits have already existed and some are new. I tried making everything as clear as possible, hopefully we got all the details correctly.

Some stores will have a Pickup option on the order and then you’ll be able to get $10 completely free without the added delivery fees. For someone who values this benefit, the $95 annual fee on Sapphire Preferred can now be offset with the $10 monthly credits.

    Our Verdict

Reader Michael reports this in branch offer. An extra 10,000 points for an extra $2,000 in spend is a good deal for most people, although if you have P2 refer you you’ll be better off with the other offer. We will still add this to the best credit card bonus page and mention it in the other posts.

Chase Hyatt Credit Card: 5 Free Night Certificates (Category 1-4) – Doctor Of Credit

    The Offer

    Direct link to offer

    • Chase is offering a bonus of five free night certificates, good on category 1-4 properties when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first three months of account opening on the Chase World of Hyatt card.

    Card Basics

    • This product is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months
    • Annual fee of $95
    • Card earns at the following rates:
      • 4x points per $1 spent on Hyatt hotels (they advertise this as 9x, but it’s 4x plus the 5x you normally get anyway)
      • 2x points per $1 spent on local transit and commuting (including taxis, mass transit, tolls and ride-share serivces)
      • 2x points per $1 spent on restaurants, cafes and coffee shops
      • 2x points per $1 spent on airline tickets purchased directly from the airlines
      • 2x points per $1 spent on fitness clubs and gym memberships
      • 1x points per $1 spent on all other purchases
    • Receive up to two free nights annually:
      • One free night at any category 1-4 Hyatt property every year after your card member anniversary
      • An additional free night at any category 1-4 Hyatt property if you spend $15,000 during your card member anniversary year
    • Status:
      • World of Hyatt Discoverist status for as long as the card is open
      • 5 qualifying night credits towards your next tier status every year
      • An additional 2 qualifying night credits towards your next tier every time you spend $5,000 on the card (no limit)

    Our Verdict

Previous best offer was 65,000 points. If you redeemed all five nights on a category four property that would come out to 90,000 points so this bonus is significantly better but you obviously lose the ability to stay at properties category 5 or above. This offer also requires a lot less spend. I think this offer is worth doing if you have a 5/24 spot and will be added to the best credit card bonuses.

  • Chase Changing Timing Of Chase Sapphire Reserve Travel Credit For Some Cardholers – Doctor Of Credit

Chase Changing Timing Of Chase Sapphire Reserve Travel Credit For Some Cardholers – Doctor Of Credit

Some Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders have received an e-mail from Chase informing them that the timing of their travel credit will be changing. For example:

    • Like in years past your $300 annual travel credit will reset in
December and you will start to receive statement credits for
      travel purchases.
    • On December 30, 2024, any unused portion of your $300 credit
will be applied to your account as a statement credit.
    • Starting in 2025, your $300 travel credit will then reset annually on and you will start receiving statement credits up to $300 for your travel purchases.
    • All other rewards program terms continue to apply.

If you’ve applied since May 21, 2017 this will not affect you at all as you already receive the credit based on your cardmember year rather than calendar year. People who applied before that date had a grandfathered credit and will be in line with all other cardholders.

This change is only for grandfathered CSR members who get the travel credit based on the calendar year. Those who signed up since May 21, 2017, get the credit based on the cardmember year. For them, there are no changes at all.
