    Whether you’re a Formula One fan or somehow only realized today that you follow a lot of drivers on social media, then you’ve probably already seen some of the thousands of graphics and memes about Lewis Hamilton’s decision to leave his team of 11 years in Mercedes at the end of 2024 and join Scuderia Ferrari, F1’s most successful team and the one with the scarlet-red car.

    Suffice it to say, there have been tears—both happy ones and not-so-happy ones—on all sides of the move, which was announced on Thursday. Hamilton’s fans are nothing if not loyal and aplenty—the driver, fashion designer, musician, and more has amassed over 35 million Instagram followers. Come 2025, Ferrari should expect a massive influx of fans, all of whom will be expected to wear the team’s iconic color. With that in mind, I thought I’d use some of my pent-up energy to, instead of refreshing F1 Twitter every five seconds, do what I do best: shop.     It’s been less than a full week since Sofia Richie Grainge and her husband Elliot Grainge announced in Vogue that they’re expecting, but already, the 25-year-old mom-to-be has debuted two “maternity” looks, and both of them include a certain beloved winter staple: cashmere sweaters.

    On Monday, Richie Grainge was spotted in Los Angeles wearing a tan-colored cashmere knit underneath a pair of army-green R13 overalls. To the combo, she added white flat shoes, tortoiseshell sunglasses, and a canvas-and-leather Ferragamo Hug bag. A day later, she picked out another sweater in the luxe, super-soft fabric for lunch at Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills, this time, an oatmeal-and-black striped V-neck by Khaite. For the mid-day activity, she kept things casual, styling her thick sweater with leggings, white sneakers from On x Loewe, Toteme sunglasses and her go-to oversize The Row bag.

    Given how little time has passed since their big announcement, the fact that Richie Grainge has picked this specific sweater style twice already is a sure-fire sign that there’s a lot more of it to come in her pregnancy.

    The dress, which was designed by the late founder of the house Azzedine Alaïa and included in his spring/summer 1996 collection, was sourced by Johnson’s longtime stylist Kate Young from Vintage Grace, a New York City–based designer-vintage business founded by Chandler Guttersen in 2021. It features short sleeves and sequin embellishments throughout, making it completely sheer and perfect for the occasion. On top, the Madame Web actress wore a feather Saint Laurent jacket, adding simple black pumps and a Jimmy Choo handbag to finish off the look.

An observation I’ve made recently is that Ratajkowski has been trading sweatpants and traditional leggings for bootcut leggings. On two occasions last week, she paired Alo bootcut leggings with oversize outerwear.

    So why do these Alo leggings deserve to be an It item? For starters, they’re affordable at just around $100. Additonally, at first glance, no one would realize that you’re wearing leggings—albiet flared ones. They come across as chic black pants. I actually own these exact leggings and can confirm that they’re quite thick and non-legging looking. 

    Bootcute jeans are a rising denim trend, and accordingly, I foresee the boutcut look trickling into other categories of pants. And since people love Alo, don’t be surprised if these bootcut leggings start to sell out. If you’re into them, I suggest shopping now just in case that happens. She’s back at it. While in Paris earlier this week for Haute Couture Week, Lopez stepped out on two separate occasions wearing many of the glamorous items that define the look. Both outfits included fur coats (naturally), lots and lots of jewelry, and oversize tinted sunglasses—even after dark. Oh, and very expensive designer handbags, of course.

    Sure, many other celebrities have been embracing the mob wife look as of late (Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski, to name a few), but Lopez was wearing it back in the early 2000s and never really stopped. To see her in Paris wearing mob wife–esque outfits was eye-catching, but she also just looked like J.Lo as we know and love her.

    This just in: Sofia Richie Grainge and her husband of nine months Elliot Grainge are expecting their first child together… a daughter! And given that she found out about the pregnancy directly after Milan Fashion Week, it’s pretty much written in the stars that the future Gemini will be just as chic as her mom. 

    According to the model and entrepreneur, who made the announcement in Vogue today, she found out “very, very early” about her pregnancy after traveling to the Italian fashion capital for the Prada show in September. “I was doing a really quick 24-hour turnaround, and I felt terrible but didn’t think much of it,” she told the magazine. “I thought it was jet lag.” Hint: It wasn’t. When she got home, she took a test—something she said she did fairly often given that her and Grainge had been trying to start a family ever since their April wedding—and it came back positive. “He was so excited,” she said of her husband. “We both cried.”

    Now that the news is out, Richie Grainge shared that she’s excited to start experimenting with her not-so-maternity style after having to hide the pregnancy for so long under various types of oversize outerwear. “Now that we’re announcing it, I have so many ideas,” she told Vogue. “I’m about to have some fun with it now that I can spread my wings and fly.”

    Dark comedy and erotic thriller Saltburn has been a buzzy addition to the zeitgeist in recent months, but it’s not the film’s often-grotesque subject matter alone that’s been so polarizing — the film’s 2000s fashion is equal parts covetable and cringe. Set in 2006 and 2007 at Oxford University and a manor in the English countryside (aka Saltburn), the clothes strike a wacky balance between vintage British runway….and Livestrong bracelets, Juicy Couture tracksuits, unironically popped collars, Abercrombie & Fitch jeans, and lots of sequins.

    Something that I think about a lot is shoe-color trends and what shoe colors to wear with an outfit. Something tells me that Hailey Bieber might be similar to me in that respect, given the shoes she wore earlier this week to change up an outfit. Bieber is no stranger to trendy colors, including the trendiest of them all at the moment: red. And I think it’s worth discussing how she incorporated red into her outfit recently.

    Last Sunday, Bieber was photographed wearing jeans, a striped Loewe polo top, and a leather blazer. She topped the look off with black The Row loafers. Two days later, Bieber wore almost the exact same outfit except instead of the blazer she wore a trench coat and instead of black loafers, she wore the same pair but in red. 

    As you’ll see below, the addition of the red loafers really punched up the outfit and made me do a double-take, even though I’m used to seeing red shoes on people at this point in the trend cycle.
