You didn’t actually think Dua Lipa would celebrate her 30th birthday in just one statement dress, did you? Over the weekend, the ultimate Leo queen (whose actual birthday is still four days away) hosted another fête, this time in a disco ball look that was ready to dance the night away.
Dua, who is celebrating in Ibiza, Spain, with friends, family, and her fiancé, Callum Turner, slipped into a cut-out dress from GCDS designer Giuliano Calza. The dress’s top half featured two large side cut-outs, which eventually met the skirt’s low-slung waistline. Leaning into the metallic theme, the pop singer styled her look with strappy metallic sandals, her go-to Elsa Peretti cuffs from Tiffany & Co., and sculptural gold earrings. Natural, sun-kissed skin and long black hair completed the ensemble.
Dua began her birthday month with several beach days, but really turned celebratory last wask. She hosted an intimate lunch with Turner, Mustafa the Poet, and Simon Porte Jacquemus—the latter of whom crafted a custom look for the singer that was just as skin-forward as her latest.
Following the lunch, she shared more of her birthday itinerary to Instagram, including a yacht trip, “long long dinners,” and “dancing till 6 am.” There’s also been a total of four birthday cakes thus far—but who’s counting?
It’s practically tradition at this point: when Dua celebrates a birthday, she goes all out—on both the party and fashion fronts. Over the years, she’s marked another trip around the sun in everything from neon string bikinis worn with mesh cover-ups and monogram Gucci bras to holy grail vintage finds from the likes of Versace, John Galliano-era Dior, and Thierry Mugler.
And with her 30th landing on a Friday, don’t expect her to blow out the candles on this multi-week birthday extravaganza anytime soon.
Paige DeSorbohas fans hoping that she’ll be rubbing shoulders with Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada 2.
The Summer House alum, 32, was reportedly spotted on the movie’s set wearing a pastel pink mini dress on Monday, August 18, leaving many wondering if she’ll have a role in the highly-anticipated sequel. Her sleeveless feather-like frock featured a high neck and an all-over plume design.
While walking through the streets of New York City, DeSorbo wore black sandals, but an assistant was seen carrying her matching pink heels finished with rhinestone embellishments behind her. She elevated her look with dainty tennis bracelets and coordinating diamond stud earrings.
The “Giggly Squad” podcast host opted for a full beat, including bronzed cheeks, pink eyeshadow, long lashes and lined lips. Her brunette hair was pulled back into an elegant updo.

Blunt, 42, even ditched her iconic red hair for a scene, debuting a platinum makeover in photos captured on set. She debuted the look while filming earlier this month.

Patrick and Brittany, who started dating in high school, revealed in July they were adding to their brood.
“Round three, here we come,” the couple captioned a joint Instagram post on July 12. The couple were joined by daughter Sterling, and Bronze in a sweet video set to Bruno Mars’ “Count on You” that showed off her ultrasound photos.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does,” the NFL star said during a May appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast. “I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and make it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that.”
He added: “[She’s] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [which] makes it a lot easier. I mean, when you get to come home and your best friend’s there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time and she pushes me to be great and she’s done a lot of great things herself.”
Michelle Keegan seldom fails when it comes to her sartorial portfolio, and on Wednesday night it was no different as she headed to Soho for an exciting night out.
The 37-year-old actress posed up a storm inside the ultra-glamorous Broadwick Hotel, modelling a strapless black number from her new Very collection.
Captioning the post, she penned: “The story of last night…[pink heart emoji].” The billowing gown featured a structured corset top and soft skirt with a daring split that was on full display as she lounged back on a stylish mustard sofa.
As for her hair, the Our Girl star slicked her brunette tresses back into a stylish bun, with face-framing tendrils flowing free. Accessorising the ensemble, she added a chunky gold chain and a matching gold ring.
Michelle celebrated her new collection with a lavish dinner at Broadwick Soho
The TV star completed the look with a pair of classic black pointed-toe stilettos and an oversized blazer.
The evening couldn’t have been more glamorous. Michelle shared a stunning photo of a large table covered in red and pink flowers.
Michelle also shared the gorgeous details of her hotel room
She also added a snap of herself enjoying what appeared to be chips in her gorgeous hotel room.
Talking about her inspiration behind the new collection, Michelle said: “Winter wardrobes are back, and I’m so excited to embrace the glamour of this season. I hope everyone loves the partywear in this range – hopefully, we’ll all have plenty of excuses to dress up this season!”
This time, the former Coronation Street actress opted for chic black lace trousers and a matching high-neck top.
When the brunette bombshell isn’t posing up a storm in her stunning clothes, she’s at home in Essex with her husband Mark Wright, where they live in a glorious £3.5 million countryside mansion.
The beauty mogul bared (almost) all in an Instagram post on Thursday, October 31, that showed her as Demi Moore from the 1996 film, Striptease, replete with a movie poster recreation and not so much as a stitch of clothing.
When Jenner, 27, posed for the camera, her hair was windblown and styled long and straight (with bangs!) to mirror the look made famous by Moore, 61. She completed the ’90s beauty moment by donning a matte nude lip, tawny blush and a fresh spray tan for a bronze finish.
The barely-there makeup was in line with Jenner’s more natural approach to glam as of late — however, by stripping down, she may have been making a statement in support of Moore.
During a discussion on The New York Times’ “The Interview” podcast in September 2024, Moore recalled people trying to tear her down not just because the role was provocative but because of the accompanying payday. She became the highest-earning female actor when she landed the part in Striptease for $12.5 million – and that’s when the backlash started.
Demi Moore.Columbia Pictures/Getty Images
“Well, with Striptease, it was as if I had betrayed women, and with G.I. Jane, it was as if I had betrayed men,” Moore said on the podcast. “But I think the interesting piece is that when I became the highest-paid actress — why is it that, at that moment, the choice was to bring me down?”
She continued: “I don’t take this personally. I think anyone who had been in the position that was the first to get that kind of equality of pay would probably have taken a hit. But because I did a film that was dealing with the world of stripping and the body, I was extremely shamed.”
During a recent cover story for Variety, Moore said landing her record-breaking Striptease salary was “so powerful for me because it wasn’t just about me; it was about changing the playing field for all women. But because I was portraying a stripper, I betrayed women.”
“The narrative quickly became, ‘Well, she’s only getting paid that number because she’s playing a stripper.’ It hit me really hard,” Moore told the publication at the time. “But at the same time, I understood that anybody who steps out first is going to take the hit. That goes for anybody challenging the status quo.”

In paying homage to Moore’s career-defining role, Jenner seemed to be taking a stand for equal pay for women in Hollywood and beyond. After all, Jenner knows a thing or two about making headlines for financial success — she was named the youngest billionaire by Forbes in 2019.
Some criticized the publication’s decision to call Jenner “self-made,” saying she was born into wealth and privilege. At the time, Jenner responded to the negative backlash, claiming that her parents financially “cut [her] off at the age of 15.”
Judging by her latest Halloween costume, it seems Jenner is continuing to do things her way.

The 2024 Academy Museum Gala lit up Los Angeles tonight, bringing out Hollywood’s biggest stars in their black-tie finest. The event, now in its fourth year, raises funds for the museum’s exhibitions, education initiatives, and public programming all while honoring some of cinema’s top stars. This year’s honorees include Paul Mescal who will receive the Vantage Award which honors an emerging artist or scholar helping to challenge dominant narratives around cinema. Rita Moreno, a two-time Academy Award winner, will add the Icon Award to her list of accolades and Quentin Tarantino will take home the Luminary Award.
While film and philanthropy are a major aspect of the event (often dubbed as the Met Gala of the West), its starry red carpet has also become just as much of a focal point, largely due to its A-list attendees and hosts.
Co-chairs for the evening are Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Tyler Perry, and Academy Museum trustee Dr. Eric Esrailian. Those featured in the gala’s host committee include stars like Kirsten Dunst, Ariana Grande, Demi Moore, and Saoirse Ronan. You can be sure there will be more than a few looks pulled straight from the spring 2025 runways as well as megawatt jewelry and statement watches (Rolex is the presenting sponsor of the soirée). All together, the stylish line-up serves as a precursor to the awards season ahead.

In an Instagram Story post on Sunday, October 20, Brittany, 29, gave a soft smile for the camera as she wore a black long-sleeve with black sunglasses. A white ribbon was tied in the back of her blond hair, which was styled in loose curls.
Brittany’s sunglasses reflected the NFL game, where the Chiefs faced off against the San Francisco 49ers.
Brittany, who’s currently pregnant, has been known to serve looks while cheering on her husband. Last month, Brittany attended the game wearing a black-and-white patterned Chanel minidress and black blazer. She completed the look with a Chanel pearl necklace, black loafers and sunglasses.
Courtesy of Brittany Mahomes/Instagram Brittany Mahomes’ game day style is back, and this season, she’s accessorizing with a baby bump. Brittany, 28, who is expecting her third baby with husband Patrick Mahomes, took to Instagram on Sunday, August 18, to show off her casual outfit while cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. For the preseason […]
Ahead of the NFL season kicking off, Brittany and Patrick, 29, announced in July they were expecting their third baby. (The pair, who wed in 2022, also share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 22 months.)
“Round three, here we come,” the couple captioned a joint Instagram post at the time. They also uploaded a video with Brittany’s ultrasound photos set to Bruno Mars’ “Count on You.” They have since revealed that they are expecting a girl.

Days after their reveal, Patrick shared that baby No. 3 will be the twosome’s last child. “I’m done, I’ll say that. I said three and I’m done,” he said in July. “It’s awesome. I always wanted to have kids young. I got to grow up in a locker room, and it made such an impact in my life. We’re on our third kid now. Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our life.”
Patrick has been candid about parenthood through the years. After the Chiefs lost a game in 2023, the quarterback shared that the score isn’t everything that matters.
“It’s football. You’re gonna have highs. You’re gonna have the lows,” he told viewers. “You put so much into this that you want to win, you want to succeed. And you want to win that Super Bowl at the end of the year. But I have to be a dad too. I have to be a husband.”
Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift just added four showstopping new looks to the ‘Eras Tour.’
Stepping on stage at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Friday, October 18, she surprised fans and Swifties everywhere with her style, including the first Reputation outfit that’s diverged from the original over five continents and 130 shows since the tour kicked off in May 2023.
Swift, 34, and her longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, have meticulously curated the wardrobe, crafting a visual journey through every musical era. By selecting designers who can embody the essence of each album, they’ve created iconic looks that resonate with fans.
The duo has also introduced fresh interpretations of familiar styles, such as the navy bodysuits that shimmered during the Midnights sets or the ethereal Alberta Ferretti maxi dresses that captured the spirit of Folklore and Evermore.
Now, they have reimagined her Reputation catsuit, swapping the bold, black-and-red Roberto Cavalli number for a new version with one leg exposed. Embroidered with a three-dimensional cobra that coiled around her body, the snake faced upwards and was coated in black bezels, crystal stones and gold baguettes, adding a Midas touch to the ensemble’s edgy aesthetic.

Many Swifties are speculating that reviving the Reputation outfit hints at a possible re-recording of the album, following successful re-releases of 1989, Speak Now, Red and Fearless.
One thing’s for certain: The costumes revealed last night are also in line with fall’s biggest trends, from one-legged pants and jewel tones to statement faux-fur coats and fringe galore.
While we wait to see if Swift has more sartorial surprises in store on night two in Miami, we’re taking a closer look at all four of her newest costumes to inspire our own style era this season.
Like at his jobs before, Hedi Slimane wasn’t overly thirsty for celebrity placements during his tenure at Celine. That said, at every award show or film festival, one or two famous faces would step out in one of his designs. Because when a celebrity wanted to sparkle under the flashing camera lights on a red carpet, they knew exactly who to call. Slimane is a champion of simple sequins. While that may sound like an oxymoron, the designer’s use of the textile on classic and chic silhouettes has made him a go-to for A-listers looking to shine at important events. And it’s not just the women who requested the designer’s custom looks. Men, too, gravitated toward Slimane’s rocker aesthetic, tapping him for a great leather jacket or pair of skinny pants. Now that he’s officially left Celine behind for a new chapter, we’re looking back at some of the red carpet ensembles Slimane delivered over the years, from Dakota Johnson showing off his debut collection in 2018 to Lady Gaga’s recent Joker ensembles.
Steve Granitz/WireImage/Getty Images
Dakota Johnson was the first person to wear Hedi Slimane’s Celine on the red carpet, nabbing a bright red, sequin-covered mini dress for the premiere of Suspiria in 2018. The piece was a good indication of what was to come from Slimane’s red carpet designs: simple silhouettes, boldly deep necklines, and a whole lot of sequins.
Dan MacMedan/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
When Lady Gaga took home two Grammys in 2019 (including one for “Shallow”), she did so in a custom Celine gown, with a glam rock edge that fit both Gaga and Slimane’s aesthetics perfectly.
Brie Larson was an early adopter of Slimane’s Celine, first wearing one of his designs—a sleek halterneck dress covered in silver sequins—to the Oscars in 2019.
JP Yim/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
Not all of Slimane’s red carpet looks were gowns, however. In 2019, he dressed Allison Williams in a white mini dress with black sequin details for a screening of her film, The Perfection.
VALERIE MACON/AFP/Getty Images
The lilac dress Larson wore to the Avengers: Endgame premiere in 2019 might seem simple, but the fabric work on the bodice should not be ignored.
Variety/Penske Media/Getty Images
Elle Fanning is known for her neutral, princess-like gowns, but in 2019, she tapped Slimane to dress her in an edgier, metallic look for the ESPYS.
Roy Rochlin/WireImage/Getty Images
While the silhouette of Reese Witherspoon’s custom knee-length Celine dress is inarguably simple, the black sequins and gold bust detail added the perfect amount of intrigue at the premiere of The Morning Show in 2019.
Gotham/FilmMagic/Getty Images
Slimane channeled a ’70s disco aesthetic when dressing Lupito Nyong’o for the National Board of Review Gala in 2020.
Variety/Penske Media/Getty Images
It’s unclear if Witherspoon knew she would match the backdrop of the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet when she tapped Slimane to design this dress for the 2020 award show.
For the second year in a row, Larson wore custom Celine to the Oscars, though she did up the ante slightly in 2020 in an embellished pale pink gown with a matching cape.
Karwai Tang/WireImage/Getty Images
Of course, Slimane is no stranger to menswear, and he has dressed some very dapper-looking men in Celine Homme throughout the years. This more casual look Tom Holland wore to a 2021 Spiderman: No Way Home photocall is all about gorgeous separates, including that buttery leather jacket.
Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic/Getty Images
But Slimane doesn’t just put men in suits. Michelle Pfeiffer looked effortlessly cool in a cropped Celine suit at the premiere of The First Lady in 2022.
Samir Hussein/WireImage/Getty Images
An ambassador of Slimane’s Celine, Kaia Gerber has worn some or the designer’s best creations on the red carpet, like this elegantly simple red halter dress, which she brought to Cannes in 2022 in order to support her boyfriend, Austin Butler, at the premiere of Elvis.
Gisela Schober/German Select/Getty Images
The 2022 Cannes Film Festival was a big year for Slimane, who also dressed Joe Alwyn in a tuxedo featuring an off-white jacket for the premiere of his film, Stars At Noon.
Variety/Penske Media/Getty Images
Natalie Portman wore a custom Celine mini dress with a geometric neckline to the world premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder in June 2022.
Robin L Marshall/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
Not all of Slimane’s red carpet designs are sequin-covered. In 2022, he put Emma Roberts in a chic brown leather mini dress for a screening of Tell Me Lies.
Christopher Polk/NBC/NBCUniversal/Getty Images
It’s a shame Selena Gomez didn’t walk the red carpet at the 2022 Emmys, as more people deserved to see this white, sequined halter dress.
Mike Marsland/WireImage/Getty Images
Before she embraced Barbiecore to an immense degree, Margot Robbie tapped Slimane to design a cut-out black dress with a dramatic cape for the 2022 premiere of Amsterdam.
The gunmetal hue of Paris Hilton’s 2023 Grammys dress made it the perfect choice for the award show.
MICHAEL TRAN/AFP/Getty Images
Slimane doesn’t often work in patterns, so the abstract formation of the sequins on Riley Keough’s 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar party dress was a nice, subtle departure for the designer.
Marc Piasecki/FilmMagic/Getty Images
Naomi Campbell looked like the epitome of glamour in a silver sequined gown on the opening ceremony red carpet of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
Mike Coppola/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
Dua Lipa made an unexpected appearance at Cannes in 2023, wearing a custom, cutout dress by Slimane on the festival’s oceanside red carpet.
MICHAEL TRAN/AFP/Getty Images
Another rare occurrence of Slimane working with a pattern: Gerber’s vintage-inspired, polka dot dress at the 2023 Academy Gala.
Of course, Slimane eventually had to bring his signature sequins to menswear, and he did so with a custom look for Timothée Chalamet at the 2024 Golden Globes.
Michael Buckner/Variety/Getty Images
Carey Mulligan wore one of Slimane’s most sculptural custom pieces to the Governors Awards in January 2024.
Comedian Chloe Fineman tapped Slimane to dress her in a gorgeous red sequin dress for her Cannes debut at the Megalopolis premiere.
Gisela Schober/German Select/Getty Images
Of course, Fineman was hardly the only person to bring Slimane’s Celine to Cannes in 2024. His designs were also represented by Carla Bruni at the Emilia Perez premiere.
Jury president Greta Gerwig also wore a more structured Celine look to the festival’s closing ceremony.
Kristina Bumphrey/Variety/Getty Images
Emma D’Arcy looked as cool as ever in a Celine Homme look featuring an embellished jacket and leather pants at the New York premiere of House of the Dragon season two.
Mike Marsland/WireImage/Getty Images
Austin Butler’s three-piece pinstripe suit at the London premiere of The Bikeriders is the epitome of sophistication. And his steel-toe, cowboy-inspired boots added the perfect hint of rock and roll edge.
The slightly cropped, boxy fit of Kodi Smit-McPhee’s Venice Film Festival suit is just unique enough to make a statement.
Robin Marchant/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
While Katy Perry has had some fashion missteps over the past few weeks, the Celine dress she wore to the Toronto Film Festival in September 2024 was not one of them.
Camille Razat, whose Emily in Paris character wears a lot of Celine, fittingly wore the brand to the show’s season four part two premiere in September 2024.
Mike Marsland/WireImage/Getty Images
Lady Gaga seemingly tapped Slimane to create a handful of outfits for her Joker: Folie à Deux press tour. First up, a strapless red gown with a matching bolero featuring some ’80s-style power shoulders.
Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic/Getty Images
For the Los Angeles premiere of the film, the shoulders were once again the vocal point of the look, this time draped in statement sleeves with a cape-like back.
After a tepid response to Victoria’s Secret’s 2023 “The Tour”—the brand’s attempt at revamping its signature runway spectacle—the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is officially back. Victoria’s Secret, currently experiencing somewhat of a rebrand after a series of controversies, is bringing back their catwalk show with musical guests, top models, and wings on October 15, 2024. “Angels” Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham, Candice Swanepoel, and Paloma Elsesser will put on their wings during the event which will feature performances from Tyla, Lisa, and Cher.
The spectacle hopes to be a return to form to the brand’s viral runway shows, which included everything from million-dollar fantasy bras to PETA protests and awkward model-singer run-ins (remember when Bella Hadid re-united on the runway with her ex, The Weeknd, in 2016?). In its heyday, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show would draw millions of eyes, largely in part due to its primetime slot on cable television. The event wasn’t just a campy runway moment, though—it featured some of the most famous models in history, from Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell to Kendall Jenner and the Hadid sisters.
As we wait to see what the 2024 Victoria’s Secret’s Fashion Show will bring, relive 20 of its most memorable moments, here.

Gigi Hadid made her debut the same year as Jenner. Her “wings” were subject to similar criticism.

Rihanna’s 2012 performance proved to be one of the show’s most memorable throughout its history. Of course, the mogul would go on to stage her own runway show for her intimates brand, Savage x Fenty, just six years later.

It’s hard to believe that 43 years have passed since the film’s release in 1987, but Jennifer’s youthful glow suggests that she’s barely aged a day.
Speaking to Good Morning America last year, Jennifer teased fans with the exciting announcement of a Dirty Dancing sequel. “Right now, we’re getting as close as we’ve ever been to – I think it is happening this year, the sequel for Dirty Dancing,” she shared.

Jennifer will not only reprise her role as Baby but also take on the role of executive producer, a dual role that reflects her commitment to the project.
While the sequel is set to feature some of the original songs and pay tribute to Patrick, who played the dashing Johnny Castle, it will have a fresh twist, shifting its setting from the 1960s to the 1990s.

The new film will also return to the nostalgic and picturesque Catskills, where the Houseman family spent their memorable summer vacation at Kellerman’s Mountain House. Fans can expect the same magical atmosphere that made the original Dirty Dancing so special, with a fresh new storyline.
Jennifer’s Hollywood journey began long before her dance with Patrick. She first caught the attention of audiences in 1984, starring in films like Reckless, Red Dawn, and The Cotton Club.
She later played the younger sister of the titular character in the cult classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, before taking on a guest role in The Equalizer. But it was in 1987, at the age of 27, that Jennifer cemented her place in Hollywood history by landing the role of Frances “Baby” Houseman in Dirty Dancing.
Jennifer famously beat out some serious competition for the role, including Winona Ryder, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Sharon Stone.
The film catapulted her to stardom, but as Jennifer later revealed, it also came with challenges. In the 1990s, she made the difficult decision to undergo a nose job, which drastically altered her appearance.
Reflecting on the procedure, Jennifer admitted, “It became the thing, the idea of being completely invisible, from one day to the next. In the world’s eyes, I was no longer me.”
She revealed that she had long resisted the surgery, despite her mother’s persistent suggestions. The result left her feeling disconnected from the identity the world had come to know.

While the surgery may have slowed her career, Jennifer made a triumphant return to the spotlight in 2010 when she appeared on season seven of Dancing With the Stars.
Partnered with professional dancer Derek Hough, she wowed both judges and audiences, ultimately winning the competition and becoming the oldest contestant to ever take home the coveted mirrorball trophy. Her dance skills even earned her a spot as a guest judge on Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, filling in for Len Goodman for two episodes.
Beyond her professional achievements, Jennifer’s personal life has been the subject of much media attention. She married MCU actor Clark Gregg in 2001, and the couple welcomed a daughter, Stella.
However, after 19 years of marriage, they announced their separation in July 2020, finalizing their divorce in January 2023. The pair agreed to spousal support terms, with the condition that payments would end if Jennifer remarried.
Before her marriage to Clark, Jennifer had high-profile relationships with some of Hollywood’s leading men, including Michael J. Fox, William Baldwin, Matthew Broderick, and Johnny Depp.
When asked about Johnny’s 2022 defamation trial, Jennifer expressed her sadness over the situation. “All I can say about that trial is that it breaks my heart for everybody involved. I just think it’s sad, and I wish it was resolved. I wish everybody well.”
Dance Moms star Kelly Hyland had a tearful reaction to seeing daughter Brooke Hyland in a wedding dress.
“Reactions to the first wedding dress I tried on,” Brooke, 26, wrote over a Friday, September 27, TikTok video. In the clip, Kelly, 53, turns to see a glimpse of Brooke in her gown and her eyes appear to get teary while taking in her daughter.
Kelly continues to stare at Brooke’s gown as sister Paige Hyland’s jaw drops while she makes her way over. As the camera pans back to Kelly, she’s seen gazing adoringly at Brooke.
Who’s at the top of the pyramid? JoJo Siwa, Maddie Ziegler and more stole the spotlight on Dance Moms — and their parents weren’t afraid to bring the drama. The Lifetime reality series premiered in 2011 and followed the Abby Lee Dance Company’s junior elite competition team as they rehearsed and performed rigorous new routines […]
“This one is still in the running,” Brooke captioned the upload.
Brooke reposted the TikTok to her Instagram Story on Saturday, September 28, writing, “Special moment, special people.”
Brooke announced in May that she and Brian Thalman are engaged. “Learned that he’s almost as tall as me on one knee — here’s to today, tomorrow, & forever after that 💍,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside snaps from their engagement.
Weeks later, Kelly revealed her breast cancer diagnosis. “The first red flag was my significant weight loss,” Kelly told E! News in May. “I lost enough that others noticed and would ask for my dieting hacks, but there was nothing I had changed in my day-to-day to cause the loss.”
Kelly booked a mammogram in late March after uncovering a lump on her breast. “I had just had one done eight months prior and the results came back clean,” she explained. “However, this new mammogram and sonogram did not, it came back showing a mass.”
After Kelly underwent a biopsy, the mass came back as malignant and she was diagnosed with invasive carcinoma grade 3. While reflecting on the diagnosis, Kelly told the outlet that breaking the news to Brooke, Paige, and son Josh was a “very hard conversation for us all.” (Kelly shares her kids with ex-husband Randy Hyland.)

“We watched my Nana battle cancer for years, so I knew that we were at the start of a very long and challenging road,” Brooke told the outlet, referring to Kelly’s mom, who died of cancer in 2019. “I hated that I had to watch another important person in my life go through it.”
Many celebrities have spoken out about their personal battles with breast cancer over the years. Julia Louis-Dreyfus went public with her breast cancer diagnosis in September 2017 via Instagram. Nearly one year later, she had successfully beaten the illness and returned to work on Veep. “It sounds kind of corny, but there’s something about after […]
Months later, Kelly revealed that she reached a major milestone in her cancer battle. “I got to ring the bell today,” she wrote in an August Instagram post, alongside a video of her tugging on the rope attached to a bell. “This was the end of my first treatment … next steps surgery, 20 radiation and 11 more treatments. I GOT THIS.”
Kelly, Brooke and Paige starred on Dance Moms seasons 1 through 4 from 2011 to 2014. The family left the show before the end of season 4 because of tensions between Kelly and the girls’ dance coach, Abby Lee Miller.
It was a family affair at the Gucci spring 2025 show on September 20 in Milan—and no one epitomized that kind of atmosphere more than Kirsten Dunst. The actress attended the presentation, held at the Triennale di Milano, with her younger brother, Christian Dunst. “We both needed a brother-sister getaway,” the actress tells W of her decision to bring Christian to the show as opposed to her husband, actor Jesse Plemons. “Jesse stayed home with the kids. Someone had to.”
The siblings coordinated their looks for the show—Kirsten in a floral, ankle-length dress and Christian opting for the more casual black trousers and white t-shirt. The actress insists the two didn’t match on purpose. Their names are similar enough. “It’s so embarrassing,” Kirsten says of the likeness between Kirsten and Christian. “Especially when we do interviews and I have to be like, ‘Hi, I’m Kirsten. This is Christian.’ It’s the same name.” But Kirsten put up with any embarrassment for the day in order to spend some quality time with her brother, plus check out creative director Sabato de Sarno’s sophomore offering for Gucci. Below, Dunst talks her favorite pieces from the show, her teenage style, and the niche piece of Jackie O. memorabilia she keeps in her home.
Did you see anything on the Gucci runway you could imagine wearing to an upcoming event?
There was a really beautiful brown sheath dress that I loved, and also those jackets with the beaded fringe. They almost had a Texas feel, but it wasn’t the normal placement of fringe, which I liked. I liked those short, poofy skirts, too. There was definitely an ode to Jackie Kennedy in there, with the head wraps and sunglasses. I actually have one of Jackie’s doors in my house.
A door?
Yeah, a door from her old apartment in New York. I bought it at an auction, kept it in my New York apartment, and then brought it home to L.A. with me. Then I found out the woman who previously owned my house in L.A. went to boarding school with Jackie and they were friends! But that’s what I like to spend money on. I spend so much time at home. I don’t care as much about clothes or cars, but house stuff I love.
How did you choose the look you wore to the Gucci show?
I was looking at the [resort 2025] runway pictures and I saw this big, floral jacket covering a dress. I always look for what’s under the coats because those can be easy, great silhouettes to wear. Now, though, I’m back in jeans and a T-shirt. I was like, “Get me into flats.”

Moving onto the Style Notes questions, do you remember your first Gucci purchase?
I think the first thing I bought myself from Gucci were those slides without the back. I think I was about 20.
What was your style like when you were younger?
Whatever was at Fred Segal or Dollhouse. I was also really into Katayone Adeli. There was a store called Mail, which was a chain mail store in Nolita, and that was a destination for me every time I went to New York. Now you can buy everything everywhere, but back then it was so special to go to certain stores when you were in different cities. Like when I worked in Paris on Marie Antoinette, nobody had heard of Isabel Marant or Vanessa Bruno or any of those cute French labels. So I would come home with all these cool clothes no one had yet.
Did the films you were working on ever affect your style at the time?
No. I mean, [Marie Antoinette] had incredible costumes, but I was a real vintage hunter. I still wear vintage clothes I got when I was living in Paris. Me and my friend Io [Bottoms], who was in the movie too, would go scavenge in vintage stores in the Marais.
You’ve been in the spotlight and on red carpets for so long. Do you ever look back on pictures and think, “God, why did I wear that?”
I think everybody does. When I was a teenager, I wore butterfly clips in my hair and jellies with tights or knee-high socks. But that’s what you’re supposed to do when you’re a kid. So yeah, no regrets.

What about past red carpet looks that you still love?
I was the first person to ever wear Rodarte, so that was cool. I wore a bunch of [Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s] first collection on the Spider-Man press tour. It always feels special when you discover someone new, and then they became dear friends of mine. It feels like we grew up together and that’s special.
My Academy Award dress this year from Gucci was also incredible. I had never tried on a dress that fit so perfectly to my body. Their tailoring is incredible.
Who are your style icons?
I was lucky enough to grow up with Sofia [Coppola]. She always just looks so chic. I think I’ve always looked to certain women in my life. My mom always had fun style. But I’m also influenced a lot by movies. When I first saw Paris, Texas, I wanted to dress like Nastassja Kinski. Or, when I discovered Blondie, I wanted to dress like her. Same with Charlotte Rampling. The ’70s is my favorite era in terms of fashion.
And finally, I have to ask—growing up, did your parents ever call you or your brother by each other’s names? I have to imagine that was a confusing household.
Styles looked flawless at the My Policeman premiere in September 2022 when he rocked a lime green Gucci 1947 bamboo handle bag. He paired the accessory with a forest green Gucci double-breasted jacket finished with a floral embellishment and pastel pants. Styles topped the look off with sage nails and ivory boots.

The 76th annual Emmy Awards took place in Los Angeles last night. While the evening was all about celebrating the latest and greatest on the silver screen (not to mention The Bear star Jeremy Allen White’s *ahem* talent), it was also a great opportunity to ogle and take inspo from some of the great red carpet looks. As the first big awards show of the awards season, the Emmys red carpet sets the sartorial tone for the rest of the season. And if the looks gracing the red carpet at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater are an indication of what’s to come, we’re in for a treat. FromThe White Lotus Season 3 star Carrie Coon in a structured cream dream from Thom Browne to Quinta Brunson and Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey giving a throwback to Old Hollywood and the sexy ‘70s (those shades!), respectively, the word of the night was GLAM. And, given the slate of A+ TV shows over the last year, it only makes sense the stars would go all out.
The biggest night in music videos is here and so, too, are all those over-the-top red carpet moments. The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, hosted this year by Megan thee Stallion, will feature performances by Katy Perry (who is also receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award), Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz, Lisa, Karol G, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, and more fan favorites. Taylor Swift was the most nominated artists of the 2024 awards, with a whopping nine nominations for her Post Malone collaboration “Fortnight.”
Historically, the MTV Video Music Awards have produced some of the most experimental and memorable celebrity moments in red carpet history, from Lil’ Kim’s pastel pasty to Lady Gaga’s infamous meat dress. This year is sure to be no different with heavy fashion hitters like Swift and Perry showing up and the red carpet introduction of relative newcomers like Carpenter and Roan.
Below, soak in every red carpet outfit from the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
Each year, the best and brightest in television are honored at the annual Emmy Awards, bringing out the biggest stars in the world of TV, and, increasingly, film. And while the Academy Awards remain the, well, Academy Awards of fashion, when it comes to the red carpet, the Emmys also have their own history of glamorous, show-stopping dresses. Think Sarah Jessica Parker in a pink confection of a Chanel haute couture gown at the 2003 ceremony, or Olivia Wilde in that wedding-worthy Reem Acra in 2008. There was also Jennifer Aniston doing boho chic in beaded Chanel in 2004, a polka-dotted Chloë Sevigny in 2009, and Tracee Ellis Ross immediately going down in history in a fuchsia ball-skirt gown by Valentino Couture. This weekend, we have our second Emmys of the year (since last year’s writer’s strike pushed the 2023 awards into January 2024). The actual 2024 awards promise to be a good one with nominations for Ayo Edebiri, Selena Gomez, and Anna Sawai—a list that all but guarantees more fashion moments rolling around very soon. Until then, a look back at the best Emmy Awards red carpet dresses of years past.

It’s no wonder the Squid Game actress stays loyal to Louis Vuitton when they create pieces for her like this sequin-covered dress she wore to the 2022 Emmys where she was nominated for her first award.

Kendall Jenner in Richard Quinn

Jenner was one of the first to wear Richard Quinn on the red carpet, and in our opinion, she made a pretty good billboard for the British designer.
Thandie Newton in Brandon Maxwell
The bright bubblegum pink hue of this Brandon Maxwell gown pairs perfectly with its sleek design.
Tracee Ellis Ross in Valentino Couture
It seems pink was a big trend on the 2018 Emmys red carpet, and Ross also got the memo.

Nicole Kidman in Calvin Klein By Appointment
The unexpected, tea-length hem of this Calvin Klein dress is likely what helped it land a spot on our best Emmys dresses list.

Paulson loves to bring some sparkle to the Emmys red carpet, and she did just that in 2016 with the help of a completely embellished, emerald Prada gown.
Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell
This Brandon Maxwell dress may look simple, but the unexpected silhouette made it a perfect choice for Lady Gaga.
Kerry Washington in Marc Jacobs
Who says an Emmy dress has to be full-length? Washington proved it very much does not when she wore this silver Marc Jacobs number to the ceremony in 2015.
Kiernan Shipka in Dior Couture
The then-fifteen-year-old Shipka found the perfect way to look age-appropriate while still cutting edge in a gorgeous, embroidered Dior couture top and black cigarette pants.

It’s too bad Dockery didn’t win the Emmy for Lead Actress in 2013, because we would have loved to see this two-toned gown take the stage.
January Jones in Jason Wu
Jones has always been known for her slighlty avant garde style, and the Jason Wu dress she wore to the Emmys in 2012 remains a perfect example of her red carpet aesthetic.
Lucy Liu in Versace

In 2012, Liu proved that when in doubt, a slinky, metallic Versace dress is always a great choice.
Evan Rachel Wood in Elie Saab

Wood’s red lip was the perfect accent to this beautiful, sparkly Elie Saab gown.
Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan
We can’t decide what we like more about Dobrev’s 2011 dress, the neckline or dramatic skirt.
Christina Hendricks in Zac Posen
The Mad Men actress’ signature red hair played off the pale periwinkle of her Zac Posen dress perfectly.
Claire Danes in Armani Privé

Good thing Danes took home the award for Lead Actress in a miniseries for her performance in Temple Grandin in 2010, because this Armani gown was made for a winner.

Over the last two-and-a-bit decades, celebrations of television shows — ranging from Friends and Sex and the City in the ‘90s and ‘00s to Grey’s Anatomy and Game of Thrones in the 2010s, up until The Crown and Outstanding Comedy Series 2024 nominee The Bear in recent years — have resulted in some of Hollywood’s greatest red carpet fashion moments. Of the many winning Emmy looks, there was Jennifer Aniston’s white, strapless Chanel from 2004, Kerry Washington’s orange Prada from 2014, and, of course, Zendaya’s show-stopping green custom Vera Wang from 2019.
According to Lisa Barlow, wearing fur — the real thing, not faux — will never go out of style.
“I’m always a fur girl,” Barlow, 49, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Daily Front Row’s 11th Annual Fashion Media Awards on Friday, September 6. “I know it’s so controversial, but I love wearing fur.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star frequently steps out in Utah and on red carpets alike in a stylish fur jacket. The trend, however, has been condemned by many animal rights activists, claiming that raising animals for the sole purpose of making fashion out of pelts is inhumane.
Barlow, however, points out that wearing fur is coming “back [into]” fashion.
“I think if you really do your homework, you’ll see if they’re made sustainably,” she told Us at the New York City event. “It’s, like, major for you to wear that as opposed to faux fur.”
Lisa BarlowMike Coppola/Getty Images for The Daily Front Row
As for what she pairs with her fur, Barlow stressed to Us that she loves a “low-waisted skinny jean” and “a great blazer.”
“I still like going back to the ‘90s for inspiration, especially to Chanel and Versace to see what they were doing and, like, re-replicate that now,” Barlow gushed.
The jeans, however, must be fitted, as opposed to a wider cut.
“I’m just over [wide-leg jeans]. I know they came back in, but I’m so over them already,” Barlow said. “[Also,] I love that black and white [colors] came back in. When I first started college, I wore a pair of black-and-white striped dress pants to BYU, and everybody was like, ‘What is she wearing?’ I didn’t have Wranglers or Ropers.”
Fan-favorite stars never miss a moment to step out in style. Whether they’re doing press or grabbing a bite to eat, the biggest names in Hollywood know how to make a statement — even if a red carpet isn’t involved. Take Taylor Swift for example, who commanded attention in New York City in a number […]
Skinny jeans still hold Barlow’s top spot among trends.
“I mean, if you have a good set of hips and a flat stomach, they’re your best friend,” Barlow added.

The Fashion Media Awards, which were held at NYC’s famed Rainbow Room, kickstarted New York Fashion Week.
“I love Fashion Week. I get to come home, which is so nice for me,” Barlow gushed to Us. “I [was] born and raised in New York, so it’s always exciting to be home. I’m looking forward to the LaQuan Smith show, [but] there’s so many great shows happening this season I’m so excited about.”
