  • Hilaria Baldwin Announces Beloved Dog Dama’s Death

    The Baldwin family is mourning the loss of their beloved dog, Dama, Hilaria Baldwin has announced.

    “Rest in peace, sweet Dama 💔. You brought so much joy to our lives…you were that dog that slept on my pregnant belly 😭🩷,” she captioned a carousel of photos of the family’s sweet dog shared via Instagram on Saturday, September 27. “Your life was long and happy. I know you are running though fields and eating all the cookies you want. We are sad but grateful that we had you in our lives ✨.”

    The first photo in the series featured Hilaria’s husband, Alec Baldwin, with both Dama and a second pet. Other photos showed Dama curled on Hilaria’s shoulder or in the crook of her arm.

    The news comes as Hilaria, 41, continues to battle it out on the 34th season of Dancing With the Stars. While speaking exclusively to Us Weekly on Tuesday, September 23, Hilaria admitted that “it’s hard” to balance competing on the show with her robust home life. (Hilaria and Alec, 67, share 7 children together: Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, Maria, and Ilaria. )

    “One of my friends came out here. I have my two nannies out here that are really helping me, and that’s incredible,” Hilaria told Us of how she managed it all with the help of family and friends. “[My husband] Alec [Baldwin] is doing a movie somewhere, so he’s coming and going, and I have a great community here.”

    Having help, paid or unpaid, doesn’t mean she’s not a hands-on mom. In fact, Hilaria also admitted she was up with her 7-year-old at 1 a.m. due to a nightmare — only hours before she earned a 21 out of 30 on Tuesday’s One-Hit Wonders Night.

    “It’s show day, but it doesn’t matter. I have to go into the room and bring him in,” she told Us. “We’re balancing all of this, but ultimately I’m mom No. 1.”

    Though maintaining the balance can be tough, Hilaria also said that she hopes her children are inspired by her work ethic and the joy she gets from appearing on the series.

    “I think it’s a really good example for them to learn that they can follow their dreams,” she explained. “I’m happy that they’re able to see me happy. It’s been a hard past few years, and I think that they need to see their mom with this kind of joy.”

    Hilaria also recently got a lot of public support from her stepdaughter, Ireland Baldwin. On September 4, Ireland, 29, defended Hilaria from detractors.

    “I wanted to take a second to talk about my step mom @hilariabaldwin. I think if people actually knew her the way I do, they would be quite surprised,” Ireland, 29, wrote via Instagram. She added that despite what some people online think and say, she was not “playing nice so I can secure my inheritance.”

    “C’mon, people. I see the comments. I’m not getting an inheritance. I have 7 siblings 😂,” she joked.

    “These thoughts have been on my mind since I last visited her on the east coast. Hilaria has had a far more complex and chaotic upbringing than she lets on and I think that’s why we’ve maybe bonded in some ways?” Ireland continued. “She didn’t always feel safe and seen. Sometimes, she is too loyal to a fault. She is eccentric and totally bat s*** crazy (in a fun way) but she saved my dad’s life. She turned his health around and has shown him the forgiveness and kindness that he needed.”

    Did one of Taylor Swift’s cats make its formal “New Heights” debut?

    In the middle of Travis Kelce’s Wednesday, August 28, podcast episode, fans believe that they heard a subtle “meow” in the background. In the episode, Travis, 34, and brother Jason Kelce discussed their offseason experiences, with Jason, 36, marveling over traveling to Paris with wife Kylie Kelce to watch the 2024 Olympics.

    In between their chat, it appears as if a cat was purring in the background. The Kelce brothers did not discuss the supposed noise during the episode, remaining focused on their conversation.

    “Not the ‘MEOW’ in the background. Travis letting one of the cats have its podcast debut,” one fan pointed out via X, while another noted that the supposed cat sound occurs around the 27-minute timestamp.

    “There’s a CAT meowing! Jason does not have a cat,” the social media user wrote.

    Neither Jason nor Travis own cats — only dogs. (Kylie, 32, previously tried to persuade her husband to adopt a feline during a December 2023 episode of the podcast.) Travis’ girlfriend of one year, Swift, is, however, a proud cat owner.

    Benjamin even joined Swift on the cover of TIME in December 2023 when she was named Person of the Year.

    Neither Swift nor Travis have confirmed whether their pets have met, though Swifties speculated that the NFL star might have filmed previous podcast episodes at her home. During a May episode of “New Heights,” fans wondered if Travis was even petting a cat off-camera.

    The couple, who started dating in summer 2023, spend as much time as possible together in between their respective work commitments. Swift recently returned to the United States from the international run of her Eras Tour. She and Travis reunited at her Watch Hill, Rhode Island mansion for a star-studded party with Jason, Kylie, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid.

    Travis is currently in the middle of his NFL commitments as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs with his first regular season game scheduled for early next week and it is likely that Swift could attend. She previously went to many of the team’s home and away games last season, also forming friendships with the athletes and their families.

    Julianne Hough opened up about the period of time when she ended her marriage to Brooks Laich — and lost both of her dogs.

    “I had asked for a separation, and then 10 days later my dogs were killed by coyotes,” Hough, 36, recalled on the Tuesday, August 27, episode of “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” on YouTube. “My dogs that represented unconditional love and safety — gone. I’m like, ‘Whoa, what am I doing? I’m blowing up my life.’”

    Hough decided to separate from Laich, 41, because she felt something was “not working,” but she didn’t expect to be grieving her pets at the same time.

    “[I] woke up before my phone even rang, and I knew. And I picked up the phone and my assistant at the time was just screaming,” she continued. “I’ve never had coyotes in my yard, I have gates and everything.”

And so as that was happening, I was just experiencing pain out of a decision that I felt like was the right thing for me. And also they were experiencing pain, so that was just really painful.”

    Hough and Laich tied the knot in 2017 after four years of dating. They sparked split speculation in early 2020 when they spent time apart during the COVID pandemic and subsequently announced their separation later that year.

    “We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate,” the pair said in a joint statement in May 2020. “We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place.     Tom Holland is mourning the death of his dog Tessa after nearly a decade of companionship.

    “Missing my lady ❤️,” the Spider-Man star, 27, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, April 21, alongside a photo of Tessa. In his Instagram story, he shared another photo of the blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier titled “T-Day” with a link to his father Dom Holland‘s Patreon blog.

    Dom, a writer, revealed that the family planted a tree in their front yard in Tessa’s memory and scattered her ashes. “Not so much an obituary — but more an insight into the final lap of the life of a remarkable little dog who had come to dominate my family — indeed, she was the only Holland who everyone loved all of the time,” he wrote in a blog post earlier this month.

    Tom adopted Tessa when she was just a puppy and he was still living with his family. Tessa was raised with Tom’s parents, Dom and Nikki Holland, as well as his three younger brothers: Harry, 25, Sam, 25, and Paddy, 19.

    The pup remained by Tom’s side through the years as he rose to fame shortly after her arrival, making his debut as Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War in 2016. He took her to set when possible and FaceTimed her when he had to go on location. Tom even brought her to a London press event for Spider-Man: Homecoming in June 2017.

    “I love her, she is an angel,” the English actor told TIME after Tessa appeared with him at the June 2017 event. “Staffies are considered to be very dangerous dogs, which is not true, is not the case.     While she was usually well-behaved, Tessa actually distracted Benedict Cumberbatch once. “If I’m in London, she’ll come to set. I was shooting this film called The Current War with Benedict Cumberbatch, which was a very serious movie about the invention of the light bulb,” Tom explained on The One Show in 2022. “We were shooting this sequence that was supposed to be in a field, but we shot it in a sound stage, and Benedict was supposed to be giving this massive speech to about 100 extras.”

    He continued: “Tessa is so well-behaved. I can have her on set, she doesn’t bark, she doesn’t make a noise. And I’m sitting there watching Benedict and he’s crying, giving his heart and soul into this performance — and [I realized] my dog obviously some sort of hay intolerance. You know how dogs sneeze with just like every fiber in their body? She was just sneezing and sneezing.

    “You could see Benedict trying to stay in character and then, eventually, he was like ‘Can somebody take that dog out, please?’” Tom apologized to Cumberbatch and Tessa recovered from her sneezing fit.

    She even went on to inspire one of Tom’s performances. When he voiced a dog in Dolittle, Tom brought Tessa to a January 2020 screening and said she helped him create the animated pup. “I just based this character off of Tess, really. I just brought Tess to the studio and copied [her],” he quipped.

    Brittany Mahomes showed off the special “dog shower” in her and husband Patrick Mahomes’ spacious Missouri residence.

    Brittany, 28, gave a peek inside her home while spending quality time with her son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, on Friday, January 5, via her Instagram Story. The 13-month-old could be seen playing with a toy on a stylish black-tiled floor before crawling over the step into a shower.

    “Into the dog shower he goes,” Brittany said from behind the camera as Bronze adorably clapped for himself. The space for grooming their two pups, Steel and Silver, appears to be within their large walk-in closet and includes a door to the outside.

    Despite the purpose of the shower, Brittany said Bronze entertained himself for “20 minutes” crawling around inside while hanging out with his mama. The couple are also parents to daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes, 2.

    Brittany and Patrick, 28, likely get a lot of use out of their designated shower, considering they have two large pups, but that’s not the only amazing feature in their sprawling estate. The NFL star and fitness trainer moved into their dream home in July 2023, per the New York Post. They reportedly built the mansion on an 8-acre plot of land they purchased in 2020. In addition to the dog spa, the property also boasts a swimming pool, a par-3 golf hole and a custom-designed 50-yard football field.

    The couple, who began dating in high school, wed in March 2022. Although Patrick is one of the most successful players currently in the NFL, he keeps his home priorities top of mind.
