Romance rumors between Slater and Umansky, 53, began to swirl earlier this month after they were spotted holding hands in Beverly Hills. The duo addressed the speculation days later, insisting they are nothing more than “really good friends.”
“For full clarity we are not dating,” Umansky shared in an Instagram Story video on Thursday, October 26. “We’ve been dancing together now for six weeks, four hours a day every single day.” The real estate mogul explained that he and Slater went “to a restaurant to go get some sushi right after rehearsal” after a “very intense” and emotional week.

JAY-Z added, “It was just natural. We just took the ‘berry’ off and called her Blue.”
Prior to the revelatory interview, many fans speculated Blue Ivy’s name was derived from a quote in Rebecca Solnit’s 2005 novel, “A Field Guide to Getting Lost,” which Beyoncé shared to her Tumblr account in 2012. “The world is blue at its edges and in its depths,” the piece reads. “This blue is the light that got lost. Light at the blue end of the spectrum does not travel the whole distance from the sun to us. It disperses among the molecules of the air, it scatters in the water.”
The piece continues, “Water is colourless, shallow water appears to be the colour of whatever lies underneath it, but deep water is full of this scattered light, the purer the water the deeper the blue. The sky is blue for the same reason, but the blue at the horizon, the blue of the land that seems to be dissolving into the sky, is a deeper, dreamier, melancholy blue, the blue at the farthest reaches of the places where you see for miles, the blue of distance. As for Ivy, her middle name, the moniker was reportedly inspired by Beyonce’s deep personal connection to the number four and the Roman numeral IV, which equates to four.

Cardi, 31, and Offset, 31 — who tied the knot in 2017 — opened up about their children’s personal fashion senses while celebrating UGG’s new Uggextreme Collection at the brand’s Feel House’s HBX party last week.
“So what do you think about our babies’ style?” Cardi asked Offset in clip shared via UGG’s TikTok on Wednesday, October 25. “Because I feel like they all have different style.”
Offset first praised their daughter Kulture, 5, for her “very pretty and very princess” style. “She has a lot of dresses. She already has this attitude about herself where she already knows how to walk like a model and she takes it seriously.” He gushed, “She always wants to show me, ‘Daddy look what I put together, look at this scarf I put on …’ I feel like she can dress herself.”
Cardi then admitted that it’s “hard for me to dress boys,” while referring to their 2-year-old son, Wave, and Offset’s sons Kody and Jordan, from previous relationships. “I remember this one time I was gonna buy Wave a hat and Offset was like ‘No,’” she recalled while laughing. “Whatever. I am trying!”
The “WAP” rapper then touched on her step-daughter, Kalea, 8, who Offset shares with ex Shya L’amour. “I feel like Kalea, she’s girly too but she’s more like tomboy too,” Cardi said, explaining, “I think it’s because when the girls start reaching the age of 8 and 7, they start going more … punk rock, cool.”

Her triumphant return is almost here, dropping “Cobra: A Story By Megan Thee Stallion” on Nov. 3. This marks her first solo release since her sophomore album Traumazine in 2022.

According to the “Savage” rapper, her music won’t be the only thing that’s new. She dropped another teaser video earlier this week, revealing why she chose to embody the cold-blooded creature.
“Just as a snake sheds its skin, we must shed our past, over and over again,” she said in the cryptic clip over an ominous guitar beat.
The “Bongos” baddie simply captioned the post “Act One” with a snake emoji. The video also included shots of her with glowing white snake eyes and baring some super long fangs, ready to strike. Douglas Bernardt will direct the highly anticipated visuals.
As BOSSIP previously reported, Megan is truly shedding the past after she officially severed ties with her old label. After several years and multimillion-dollar lawsuits, she settled her legal battle with 1501 Certified Entertainment. Both parties “reached a confidential settlement to resolve their legal differences” and will finally “amicably part ways.”

“It was my dream ring. I wanted the relationship to work. I was willing to put in work for the relationship. And I had the person take off,” she claimed during a February interview on the “Almost Famous” podcast. “That’s not something that I bluntly said [before] because Instagram and there’s all these other things on you, but, like, I know what it looks like to work through a relationship, and I know how hard relationships can get. But both people have to be capable of doing that.”
Olukoya, for his part, has not addressed any of Young’s accusations about the abrupt demise of their romance. In July 2022, he denied rumors that he cheated on Young and asserted that they both “tried” to make their relationship work to no avail.
It hasn’t been a great year for hip-hop regarding charts and sales, and Offsetisn’t surprised.
“I’m noticing that ‘no content music’ ain’t catching nobody’s ear,” said Offset, 31, when chatting with Ebro Darden for Apple Music, after Darden asked whether the Migos alum was noticing a “transition in the game” when it came to hip-hop. “I’m noticing that the numbers are down in our genre, specifically, because I feel like everything is so the same. The next new s—t was another n— that was just here. There’s nothing new being brought to the game.”
“Not just on the sound side but just all the way around. Creatively, too,” he continued. “Most videos be, like, a Rolls Royce in the background, two chains on. That s–t [is] getting boring, fellas. There’s no real entertainment. You got these pop and these country artists smoking s—t because they coming with the full round, the full package. … Everything ain’t flexin’.”
Offset’s concerns are warranted. Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape became the first hip-hop album of 2023 to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and it did so in July. In the months before that, R&B (SZA’sSOS), pop (Karol G’s Mañana Será Bonito, Stray Kids’ 5-Star, Taylor Swift’s Midnights) and country (Morgan Wallen‘s One Thing at a Time) occupied the top spot.
Since then, Drake(For All The Dogs), Travis Scott (Utopia) and Rod Wave (Nostalgia) have shown that hip-hop can move units, with each taking the No. 1 spot for a week or two.

The same can be seen on the Billboard Hot 100, where pop and country dominated for the first three-quarters of 2023. Doja Cat’s “Paint The Town Red” was the first rap no. 1 in over a year, ending a drought after Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” reached No. 1 in August 2022, per Billboard. Since then, Drake’s “First Person Shooter” and “Slime You Out” have been the only other hip-hop/rap-adjacent songs to go to No. 1.

Offset released Set It Off, his second solo album, on October 13. The project debuted at No. 5 behind Zach Bryan’s self-titled album, TOMORROW x TOMORROW’s new LP, Drake’s For All The Dogs, and Bad Bunny’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Manana.
Swift, 33, dropped her much anticipated 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on Friday, October 27 — the fourth of her six planned re-recordings. In addition to all 19 original tracks, the album features five extra never-before-heard songs “from the vault” — including a few that fans think could hint at her split from Styles, 29, whom she dated prior 1989’s initial 2014 release.
In “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Verison),” a synthy pop ballad, Swift appears to be singing about the difficulty of moving on from a past relationship when both people are living in the public eye.
“And did you think I didn’t see you? / There were flashin’ lights,” Swift sings, seemingly about her ex being photographed with a new partner. “At least I had the decency / To keep my nights out of sight / Only rumors ’bout my hips and thighs /And my whispered sighs,” she adds.
Swift goes on to call the former flame a “lying traitor” before accusing them of searching in “every model’s bed for something greater.” (Styles was linked to Kendall Jenner from 2013 to 2014.) Elsewhere in the song, Swift calls the ex’s “new girl” her “clone” and makes quips about their mutual inability to let the romance go.
“Let’s fast forward to three hundred awkward blind dates later,” she croons. “If she’s got blue eyes, I surmise that you’ll probably date her.”
Swift’s biggest tease that the song could be about Styles, however, comes in the second verse, where she paints a picture of past memories. “When you lost control / Red blood, white snow,” she recalls. The images seem to parallel “Out of the Woods” off of 1989’s original tracklist, in which Swift recounts the ordeal, singing, “Remember when you hit the brakes too soon/Twenty stitches in a hospital room/When you started crying, Baby, I did too.”
Swift revealed in a2014 Rolling Stone interview that she and an ex were once involved in a snowmobile accident. “You know what I’ve found works even better than an NDA?” she told the outlet. “Looking someone in the eye and saying, ‘Please don’t tell anyone about this.” Styles, meanwhile, was photographed with a bandage on his chin just days after the incident took place.
Also in the second verse, Swift remembers a “blue dress on a boat.” In 2013, Swift and Styles reportedly called it quits during a getaway to the Virgin Islands. “They had a fight,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time, adding that Styles “said something he shouldn’t have.” At the time, Swift was photographed leaving the vacation on a boat while looking forlorn and donning a now-famous royal blue dress.
Swift and Styles were first linked in late 2012 before their split in January 2013. While their whirlwind romance appeared brief, 1989 — which was released in October 2014 and marked Swift’s official transition into the pop world — is believed by fans to be largely inspired by her relationship with Styles, with tracks like “Out of the Woods,” “Style” and more.
Swift has never officially confirmed any of her music is about the former One Direction singer — as she famously doesn’t “name names” when it comes to her songwriting — but she has heavily teased the idea. After 1989 hit shelves, she told Rolling Stone that “Style” should have been titled, “I’m Not Even Sorry.’” In December 2014, she opened up about her inspiration behind the track during an appearance on The Morning Show.
“‘Style’ is actually bout those relationships that are never really done,” she quipped of the tongue-in-cheek track. “You always kind of have that one person who you feel like might interrupt your wedding and be like, ‘Don’t do it, we’re not over yet.’ I think everybody has that one person who kind of floats in and out of their life and the narrative is never truly over.”

Styles, for his part, shared his thoughts on potentially being the subject of Swift’s songs during a 2014 interview with Google Hangout. “We always say that we write from personal experience, and I think everyone does. So, it would be hypocritical to say ‘Oh, you can’t write songs.’ And she’s really good, so, they’re good songs,” he said of the 12-time Grammy winner. “I’m really lucky in that sense.”

While speaking to Rolling Stonein 2017, he expanded on his thoughts further, telling the outlet, “I’m lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs. That’s what hits your heart. That’s the stuff that’s hardest to say, and it’s the stuff I talk least about. That’s the part that’s about the two people.”

“I expected this from Austen. I didn’t expect it from Taylor,” Olivia said, referring to the infamous smooch. “So, it’s easy to mend with Austen.” She then clarified, “I’m not forgiving him but that cut’s not as deep [as it is with Taylor].” Olivia further explained that it’s her relationship with Taylor, 28, is what she’s “trying to put back together.”
Austen and Taylor sparked hookup rumors in early 2023 but denied they were intimate for months. During an October episode of the Bravo series, both Austen and Taylor confirmed that they had in fact kissed in late 2022.
Rod, for his part, confessed to Olivia on Thursday’s episode that he wasn’t surprised by Austen’s ever-changing story about his relationship with Taylor. “I’m used to how they play. During the Thursday, October 26, episode of “Pod Meets World,” Fishel, 42, took a trip down memory lane via an old diary she wrote in 1996 and recently rediscovered. She detailed one particular entry from February of that year when she was forced to spend the day with Strong, 43, and Cook, 44, while they were dating.
“I had the sh–test day. First of all, school was boring, rehearsal sucks and Rider was antisocial,” Fishel read from the journal, causing Strong and their fellow cohost, Will Friedle, to laugh. “That’s such a nice way to say I was grumpy,” Strong quipped in response.

“Jonathan and I were not necessarily dating at this time, we were really off and on regularly over the years,” she said before noting that the diary entry ended with her professing her love for three different boys. “I love Landon and Rider and David,” she read, claiming she has “no clue” who David is, but she “went to high school” with Landon.
“Then we went to acting class but we had to wait for Rachael,” Fishel recounted, pointing out that the word “Rachael” was underlined in annoyance. “Then Rider and Rachael got all lovey-dovey, and it made me want to puke. Then they kissed, and it looked so cute. She’s actually really sweet and cool, but I really like Rider. I don’t think she’s right for him. Then again, maybe I’m not either.”

Fishel first revealed her costar crush during an August 2022 episode of “Pod Meets World,” sharing what initially drew her to Strong. “He was so smart, and … one of my favorite things about Rider — and it continues to this day — [is that] Rider is very effusive,” she said. “He will tell you how he feels and he’s very free with his compliments, but he doesn’t throw them out willy-nilly. When he compliments you, it is thoughtful, it has meaning, and you can tell it’s coming from a very real place.”

A source exclusively told Us on October 19 that Spelling and McDermott are “headed for a divorce,” explaining that the pictures hit a nerve for Spelling. “Dean stepping out with a new woman since he hadn’t been seen in a long time is disrespectful to Tori,” the insider said. “He hasn’t been as actively engaged with the family since they separated.”

The Troop Beverly Hills actress, for her part, is “over it” when it comes to McDermott’s antics and is “focusing on herself and her personal well-being,” the insider added. Spelling “wants to close the chapter with Dean,” the source concluded.

Kardashian, 43, took to social media on Tuesday, October 24, to share all the bouquets of flowers she received for her birthday from her family and friends — including one from Beyoncé herself.
“Kim, Have a beautiful birthday,” the singer, 42, who also sent a gorgeous arrangement of white flowers, wrote on a card. “Hope you are surrounded by joy. All my love, B.”
Kardashian’s two oldest children — daughter North, 10, and son Saint, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West — sent bouquets as well, along with palsVanessa Bryant and Simon Huck. (Kardashian and West are also parents of daughter Chicago, 5, and son Psalm, 3.)
Beyoncé may not have made an appearance at the star-studded bash, but she certainly wanted Kardashian to feel the love. The women have been friends for years, but hit a snag in 2016 when West, 46, made headlines for blasting the Grammy winner and her husband, Jay-Z, during a Sacramento concert.
At the time, West alleged that Queen Bey only agreed to perform at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards if she won Video of the Year for “Formation.” West also called out Jay Z, 53, for not returning his phone calls after Kim’s was robbed in Paris earlier that month, saying, “Jay Z, call me, bruh. You still ain’t called me. Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Please call me. Talk to me like a man.”

Jay-Z addressed West’s claims during an appearance on the “Rap Radar” podcast that August, revealing that his major issue stemmed from West mentioning Beyoncé on stage. (In addition to Blue Ivy, now 11, Beyoncé and Jay-Z share twins Rumi and Sur, whom they welcomed in June 2017.)
“But what really hurt me was, you can’t bring my kid or my wife into it,” he explained. “Kanye’s my little brother. He’s talked about me 100 times. After multiple reports that West was planning to sue Jay-Z, a source exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2019 that the twosome — along with Kardashian and Beyoncé — hung out together in the VIP section of the party at Diddy’s 50th birthday party earlier that month. “They greeted each other and seemed friendly and happy to see each other. Stamos, 60, recalled his and Loughlin’s near-miss love connection in his memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, which hit shelves on Tuesday, October 24. According to Stamos, he and Loughlin, 59, found themselves “suddenly single at the same time” in the mid-1990s.
“She’s my Sandra Dee from Grease, the good girl with a kind heart who always makes me feel upbeat when I’m around her,” Stamos wrote of Loughlin. “She’s one of the few women I have spent day after day with and still always look forward to seeing her again. I know what makes her laugh, we get each other and we have the sort of true friendship that’s supposed to be the foundation of a great, lasting relationship.”

Loughlin and Stamos became friends while working together on Full House, which ran from 1987 to 1995. Stamos played Jesse Katsopolis, while Loughlin played his love interest and later wife, Rebecca Donaldson.
In 1994, Stamos met Romijn, 50, at an afterparty for a Victoria’s Secret fashion show that Romijn walked in as a model. While Stamos attended the party with Loughlin, he ended up getting Romijn’s number. “[She’s] the Sandy-in-Black-Leather at the end of Grease,” Stamos wrote of Romijn.

She knows I’m not as ready to settle down as I feel. She’s humoring me.”
Stamos recalled asking himself to choose between the two women with a further reference to Grease. “Am I going to sit in a swing forlorn at the drive-in wearing a motorcycle jacket warbling like John Travolta for Sandra Dee or am I putting on the letterman’s sweater to enter the carnival in search of black patent leather stilettos with chills multiplying?” he wrote. “Let’s just say Rebecca’s first call sounds a lot like, ‘Tell me about it, Stud,’ and it’s electrifying.”

Romijn and Stamos tied the knot in September 1998 after getting engaged on Christmas Eve the year prior. The former couple announced their split in April 2004 after five years of marriage. He later married Caitlin McHugh in February 2018, while Romijn wedJerry O’Connell in 2007. Stamos and McHugh, 37, share son Billy, 5, and Romijn and O’Connell, 49, are the parents of 13-year-old twins Dolly and Charlie.
Stamos has previously said that he and Loughlin went on a date in their late teens after meeting because of their work on soap operas. “We went on a date to Disneyland before … we were both married,” he told HuffPost in 2013. “We did have some off timing, but — no disrespect to her family and her husband now — I would say that she could be the one that got away.”

After the Kansas City Chiefs — of which her son Patrick, 28, is quarterback — defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 22, Randi took to social media to share her admiration for Swift, 33, who posed for a photo with Patrick’s 12-years old sister, Mia Randall, during the game.
“I love how sweet Taylor was to my girl!!” Randi captioned a pic of the twosome via her Instagram Story. She added the hashtag “girl power” to the sweet snap, which featured Swift and Mia decked out in Chiefs gear as they smiled for the camera. (Randi is mom to sons Patrick Jr. and Jackson, 22, whom she shares with ex-husband Patrick “Pat” Mahomes, and Mia from another relationship.)
Randi and Mia took in Sunday’s big game from a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium alongside Swift and Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, who showed off their new celebration handshake after the Chiefs scored a touchdown in the second quarter.
Swift, for her part, was in attendance to support Chiefs tight endTravis Kelce, with whom she has been romantically linked since September. Sunday marked her fourth time cheering for Kelce, 34, from the stands since showing up to support him at his game against the Chicago Bears game last month.

Brittany and Swift have since been spotted cheering together at multiple Chiefs games and even enjoyed a night on the town with some of Swift’s A-list inner circle — including Blake Lively and Sophie Turner— last month.
“Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor. They’ve hung out a couple of times and have grown fairly close in a short period of time,” the insider told Us at the time. “Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet, and down to earth, and they get along really great.”
The source noted that Patrick and Kelce being “best friends’ makes the dynamic even “better,” adding, “They’re having a blast and love cheering on their men together.”

Travis joked that he felt “terrible” for Swift and it was “terrifying” for him to think about what the pair could have been talking about. “If you see Dad talking to anybody and you can’t hear what’s happening, who knows where that conversation’s going,” Jason quipped in response.

In a confessional, Tumi admits she has concerns about how Kyle speaks about her when she isn’t around, adding, “I thought they were friends but if he is talking s—t about her he is definitely talking s—t about me.”
However, Tumi’s relationship with Natalya has faced plenty of challenges. As Tumi’s issues with Natalya got worse, Kyle stepped in to attempt to mediate the situation. He told Natalya about Tumi’s text to him, which Natalya then mentioned to Captain Sandy after an argument with her chief stew.
“You’re in a leadership role and you need to rise above and figure this out because right now I am ready to put you both off the boat,” Sandy told Tumi about how to handle the situation.
The captain elaborated on her reaction to the drama, telling cameras on the October 16 episode, “You have to respect each other in the workplace. You can’t do this. This is behavior that can’t happen. In this situation I need to defuse it but then you need to step away and let the leader handle it. Because if I draw the line for them, they are never going to respect each other. Having said that, if I hear Natalya screaming at Tumi again and Tumi can’t defuse it, then I need to step in and make a decision.”
