    As the world continues to come to grips with the news that the Aussie sweethearts are divorcing after 19 years of marriage, we’re winding things back to simpler times… But we didn’t really have to do much rewinding at all.

    Just last year, the Blue Ain’t Your Color singer positively gushed over his wife during an emotionally candid speech. While taking the stage to present Nicole with the 49th American Film Awards Life Achievement Award in July 2024, he spotlighted her strength of character while detailing his past issues with substance abuse:

    “My addictions … that I’d done really nothing about, blew our marriage to smithereens. Four months into a marriage, I’m in rehab for three months. I had no idea what was going to happen to us.”

    But Nicole wasn’t ready to give up. He continued:

    “And if you want to see what love in action really looks like, give that a whirl. Nic pushed through every negative voice, I’m sure even some of her own, and she chose love.”

    The Oscar-winning actress began tearing up at that point as Keith continued:

    “And here we are tonight, 18 years later.”

    He noted that their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, are “very lucky to be learning” from a woman like her:

    “I’ve actually never met anyone who has such a passion for being alive. She knows the importance of expressing feelings.”

    It’s clear how much love and admiration Keith had for Nicole… And yet here they are getting divorced. And only a year after that speech, he’s reportedly with another woman?!? One who didn’t stick with him through the hard times?? Damn, that’s upsetting.

    Once again, we have all been Jaxed. In new court documents obtained by Page Six, Vanderpump Rules and The Valley star Jax Taylor is claiming that he and Brittany Cartwright were never legally married. That’s right, a whole season of TV plus a murder mystery dinner party in the Kentucky Castle, all for naught! In the filing, Taylor also gave Cartwright full physical custody of their son, Cruz. According to the documents, the couple’s only shared asset is their home (and shooting location) in Valley Village.

    Cartwright was the first to announce the couple’s separation, in February of this year. At the time, Taylor was emphatic that the pair were not divorcing. Which may be true? If they were never technically married. This is the second VPR marriage that turned out to not be legal. In the same season when Jax and Brittany got married, Tom Schwartz claimed that he’d failed to file his marriage license to Katie Maloney when they wed in 2016. It’s beginning to seem like what we see on reality TV…might not be the full truth. What else is a lie? is Lance Bass even ordained?

    Ben Affleck is not a fan of his personal life being joked about!

    In case you missed it, Mindy Kaling hosted part of the third night of the Democratic National Convention earlier this week, and she could not help but make a comment about the actor’s divorce from Jennifer Lopez while shouting out Massachusetts! She said at one point:

    “I love you, Massachusetts! Everyone is always hating on us. But they just don’t get it. Go Sox! … Ben Affleck, hang in there! Dunkin’ Donuts, you’re the best coffee in the world.”

    Many undoubtedly chuckled at her remark. But you know who didn’t? Ben! According to a Dailymail.com source on Friday, the 52-year-old filmmaker was very disappointed Mindy would bring up his breakup with J.Lo at a political event:

    “Though it was in the moment, though it was said in jest, when Ben found out that he was brought up at the DNC by Mindy, it was a full-face palm moment. The last place he would have ever expected and wanted to be talked about, especially about his divorce, would be at a political convention.”

    While Ben doesn’t plan to publicly bash the comedian, he does hope his peers will refrain from talking about his personal business moving forward:

    “He isn’t going to call out Mindy, but this was just a moment where he would love for people to know, especially ones that are meant to be his peers in Hollywood, to just not talk about his personal life.”

    Ben apparently cannot take a joke! Yeesh! However, we all know how much the Gone Girl star values his privacy! Heck, it is one of the main reasons we have heard so far about why Ben and Jennnifer called it quits again! He grew sick of compromising on the fame matter! Yet you would think a harmless joke like the one Mindy made wouldn’t have bothered him as much, right? All she said was to “hang in there.” If anything, it was a very kind comment — especially in comparison to what folks on the internet have said about the divorce! But Ben didn’t see it that way it seems. Instead, The Office alum just caused him more of “a headache” with her “frustrating” joke! The Dailymail.com source continued:

    “This will go away, and people will forget about it, but it’s just the constant talk about his relationship with JLo that is a main reason it didn’t work out this second time around. Ben values his privacy and to deal with adversity in the public eye is a stress filled situation for him and when people bring it up who are in his community, so to speak, is just frustrating. Even though Mindy wasn’t looking to cause a headache for Ben, she did provide one.”

    Damn…

    Despite his feelings over the matter, he doesn’t expect Mindy to apologize:

    “He doesn’t want an apology, an excuse or anything, what was said is what was said, time to move on. He just wishes that he didn’t have to move on from anything at all. He just wants to be known for his work and being a great father, not from any mistakes or misfortune that happens in his life. Mindy did her thing, and he is refusing to make it a thing, it was a brief inconvenient moment to deal with, time to turn his attention to more important things in life.”

    On Wednesday, as his estranged partner was seen having fun in Italy, the actor was photographed riding his motorcycle in Los Angeles with his youngest child Samuel tagging along. The boys could be seen in casual clothes going for a ride in their Brentwood neighborhood (where the Air star is renting a home close to his ex Jennifer Garner‘s pad). The 12-year-old wore sweatpants and a T-shirt while Ben rocked jeans and a navy shirt. Of course, they both had helmets on, too! They were spotted riding through the area before pulling up to a house. See HERE.

    As mentioned, this sighting comes amid marriage troubles for the couple — making J.Lo’s solo trip to Positano, Italy a shocker! She just canceled her tour to hang out with friends and family more (a decision that seemed to be made so she could work on her failing relationship), and yet she’s now halfway around the world having a blast on her own! Not the best sign! Especially when you see how happy she looked without Ben!

    Not a care in the world! So what does this mean for the relationship?!

    As Perezcious readers know, for weeks now, sources have been going back and forth about how dire the situation is for the couple. For a while, it sounded like the Shotgun Wedding star was determined to save the romance no matter what — but now, not so much. The latest Us Weekly insiders have claimed that the duo can no longer see eye to eye on their future together — and that divorce is a big part of the conversation. The source stressed:

    “They can’t get on the same page [and] have been discussing divorce as an option.”

    Oof. Plus, they’re quietly trying to sell their marital home. Once that’s gone, there won’t be much keeping them together. So, this could all be over soon… unless, maybe this time apart is just the break they needed before figuring things out? We’ll see…

    We knew making amends was the intention behind the split, but everything else we’ve heard from Jax lately suggested that they were nowhere near reconciling! As mentioned, just hours earlier, the bar owner wrote in a since-deleted tweet:

    “you may want to ask brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months…”

    He totally called her out!! Especially since this shady post came shortly after he confirmed on the couple’s joint podcast, When Reality Hits, that they have permission to date during this break. And yet he’s seemingly mad that she’s hooking up with someone else? Make it make sense!

    During that same podcast, the VPR alum also said he wasn’t ready to start seeing other people — and denied Paige Woolen romance rumors — but insinuated that Britt had moved on, noting:

    “That is not to say Brittany isn’t doing what she’s doing. I know it’s not out there what she is doing, but she’s doing her own thing, too.”

    It all felt a little like Jax was just trying to get haters off his back. And now what? Do y’all think they’re really making progress… or does Jax just want us to think that? So far, the internet is pretty divided on this! Tons of fans were thrilled to hear the positive update, commenting:

They’ve been spotted on multiple vacations together over the past few years. She always claimed he was there to train with the kids, and there was nothing romantic between them. However, the two have been seen hanging out one-on-one a lot over the past few years. Joaquim even picked her up from the airport at one point. It gave off couple vibes!

    A source for People later revealed the pair have been “seeing each other since [last] summer” — as in June 2023. If this is true, the Victoria’s Secret Angel would have been an item before she and Tom divorced. It is unknown if their relationship started before the duo separated, but the insider seems to strongly imply that Tom thinks Gisele cheated on him with Joaquim! Yikes!

    However, Gisele wants everyone to know… she did NOT cheat! When asked point-blank by The New York Times in an interview published on Saturday about the affair allegations, she replied:

    “That is a lie. This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

    Hmm. If cheating hadn’t been involved in the demise of their marriage, then what happened? Don’t expect to get an answer from Gisele. She refused to reveal what actually caused her breakup with Tom, saying:

    “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

    What did she confirm, though? She is dating someone! While Gisele doesn’t mention Joaquim by name, she shares about the relationship:

    “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first. It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”

    Folks are rediscovering the pics now. Some are even hinting there was something going on between them years back — but let’s not forget they’re the alleged victims here.     Kroy Biermann has more money problems… and this time, he can’t exactly blame Kim Zolciak!

    On Monday, Us Weekly and The Blast both obtained court docs indicating Kroy’s attorney Marlys A. Bergstrom is coming after him for unpaid legal bills! Per those outlets, Bergstrom’s firm Stearns, Montgomery & Proctor filed what’s called a Consent Attorney’s Lien against the former Atlanta Falcons star.

    In the court docs, the lien demands the law firm be able to go after “all recoverable property” belonging to Biermann “upon any judgments and degrees recoverable” related to his ongoing divorce. The filing is explicit in its reason, too. It states the law firm is coming after the ex-NFL baller for an “unpaid amount of fees and services” related to their work on his ongoing divorce. But here’s the strange thing… the lien amount is REALLY small. It’s only $801.01!

    Don’t get us wrong, $801.01 can be a lot of money when you don’t have it. But for a high-powered law firm, that’s like two billable hours! If that. WTF?! The juice is running, though. Per the media reports, Biermann is on the hook for ongoing interest that will continue accruing at a rate of 1.5% per month for every month the money isn’t paid back. Again, that’s not a ton of money, but obviously, Bergstrom’s law firm wants their cut. Every bit of it! And the bill will only keep growing if they don’t get it!

    The filing, which focuses on “all recoverable assets” linked to Biermann including “money and personal property,” concludes:

    “No person shall be at liberty to satisfy any judgment or decree in this action until the lien of the Firm is satisfied.”

    So, basically, they want him to dole out some dough ASAP!

    Of course, Kroy has other pressing concerns with his (and Kim’s) precarious financial situation, too. For one, their Atlanta-area mansion has been in foreclosure limbo for a long time, and is currently for sale with a price tag north of $6 million. And that’s not all! Just last month, JP Morgan Chase Bank sued Kroy, claiming the NFL alum owes them more than $13,000 in unpaid credit card bills. Kim, too, has been sued — most notably by a debt collection company on a $156,000 pursuit after she allegedly stopped making payments on one of her credit cards.

    The estranged couple has also been ordered to pay nearly $230,000 to Simmons Bank after receiving a final default order on a home equity line of credit they had previously taken out. Plus, per Us Weekly, the embattled duo is said to still owe the IRS more than $1.1 million in unpaid taxes. All that’s to say that this $801.01 lien is small potatoes compared to some of the big stuff. But still… always pay your lawyers! Every penny! They’re the ones you want to keep in your corner, after all!!

    What was she wearing that was sooo eye-catching?? Only an iconic Princess Diana reference!

    In pics obtained by TMZ on Thursday, the Chicago P.D. alum was seen rocking a bright red sweater with white sheep and one black sheep on it. It’s made by Warm & Wonderful and will only put you out $248. Prince William and Prince Harry‘s momma first wore the OG piece in the ’80s, seemingly as a sign to the public that she didn’t fit into the royal family. Oof!

    The original sweater sold for $1.1 million at an auction last month, but tons of knockoffs have kept the design popular over the years. Other stars who have rocked a lookalike are Harry Styles and John Legend. Regardless of all that, though, we can’t help wondering what message Soph’s trying to send by wearing it now!

    As we mentioned, she divorced her husband of one year, Grant Hughes, earlier this year. They supposedly just fell out of love — but, the more we learn, the more skeptical about the past we get!

    In a truly shocking plot twist, it was then announced earlier this month that the Drama Queens podcaster is dating the soccer star, who is also going through a fresh divorce from her wife Ali Krieger. And Ali’s not holding back when it comes to shading the duo for allegedly cheating!

    So, as everyone’s trying to get to the bottom of just what happened here, Sophia stepping out in a “black sheep” sweater definitely seems like a cryptic nod to all the drama — and maybe even an acknowledgment that she (just like Di) is feeling like the odd woman out in her personal life!

    Kelly Clarkson Hints At Drama Behind Her Divorce With 2 Fiery New Songs

    Kelly Clarkson may be “Miss Independent” once again ― only this time, it’s with a vengeance.

    On Friday, Clarkson unveiled two singles, “Me” and “Mine,” off her hotly anticipated 10th album, “Chemistry.” As for the unusual choice of releasing two tracks at the same time, the “American Idol” winner-turned-daytime talk show host said she “didn’t want to release just one song to represent an entire album, or relationship.”

    “There are many stages of grief and loss on this album,” Clarkson explained in an email statement. “Each song is a different stage and emotional state.”

    Clarkson is in peak vocal form on the new songs, both soulful ballads meant to be played at maximum volume. To ensure that fans would be able to sing along, the three-time Grammy winner posted lyrics on social media in advance of the tracks’ release.

    While Clarkson’s performances have always been praised for their raw vulnerability, she appears to be taking her latest project to a new level, giving listeners a glimpse into the demise of her marriage to Brandon Blackstock with emotionally wrenching candor.

    “Can’t believe I let you in, I can’t believe I stayed as long as I stayed,” she sings on “Mine.” “Someone’s gonna show you how a heart can be used, like you did mine.”

    Similarly, she doesn’t hold back on “Me,” singing: “Your insecurity was the death of you and me. Too many times you questioned, what were my intentions? I never gave you reasons, you’re the one with secrets.”

    Clarkson split from Blackstock in 2020 after about seven years of marriage, though their divorce wasn’t finalized until March 2022. The former couple share an 8-year-old daughter, River Rose, and a 7-year-old son, Remington Alexander.

    Due out June 23, “Chemistry” has been widely described as Clarkson’s “divorce album,” alluding to the notion that romantic uncouplings have often inspired music’s biggest stars to write and record some of their most beloved songs. Notable “divorce albums” include Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours,” Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” and, most recently, Adele’s “30.”

    Though Clarkson has stopped short of mentioning Blackstock by name in reference to her new music, she has said that “Chemistry” will reflect “the arc of an entire relationship.”

    “A whole relationship shouldn’t be brought down to just one thing,” she explained in a short video shared on social media last month. “So there’s the good, the bad, and the ugly kinda thing going on it.”

    Fans eager to hear Clarkson perform her new songs live will soon get a spectacular, albeit limited, opportunity. In July, she’ll kick off “Chemistry… An Intimate Night with Kelly Clarkson,” a 10-performance residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Bakkt Theater in Las Vegas.
