Jennifer Lopez mixes things up quite a bit when it comes to her style, but something that stays pretty consistent is her preference for heels. More often than not, Lopez is photographed wearing towering high heels with her ensembles, but that wasn’t the case with one of her recent looks. In fact, it was quite the opposite.

In the winter, the line between frumpy and chic is paper thin. It all really comes down to what coat you’re wearing, with outerwear being arguably the most important buy of the year for people in cities that experience true winters. As a native SoCal girl, you wouldn’t think I could ever complain about the weather. In the past few months, we’ve become pretty accustomed to seeing Margot Robbie in various shades of pink. When you play the titular character in the Barbie movie, it’s to be expected. At the premiere for her new movie, Saltburn, Robbie walked the red carpet in a look that was practically the polar opposite of Barbie—particularly her nails.
You may or may not have heard that short nails are in right now. Everywhere we look, it seems like celebrities are ditching their ultra-long manicures for simple, short nails. Robbie not only walked the carpet with short nails, but they were also a custom shade of khaki green.
Celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik did Robbie’s nails for the premiere. To create the perfect short, rounded shape, Bachik reached for a travel kit from his own collaboration with Tweezerman. For the ultimate khaki green, Bachik mixed together two different Chanel nail colors.
The resulting manicure perfectly complimented Robbie’s sheer, corseted black dress. Clearly, Robbie is exiting her Barbie era and entering a completely new one. If we’re going to keep getting looks like this, we’re looking forward to it.
Who What Wear: How would you describe the fragrance in your own words?
Katy Perry: It’s all my favorite things: vanilla, candied citrus—it’s just the yummiest fragrance! So good you can almost taste it.
WWW: Is Devotion a daytime or nighttime scent?
Perry: It’s definitely an all-day fragrance. The citrus notes are light and bright for day, but the vanilla notes make it sexy for night, too.
WWW: What made you want to collaborate with Dolce & Gabbana? And why is this partnership a good fit?
Perry: I remember wearing this leopard print Dolce & Gabbana dress on Warped Tour all the way back in 2008, and I’ve worn them everywhere from the Met Gala to Coachella, to America Idol to my music video for “When I’m Gone.” They feel like a part of my style DNA, and I’ve always loved working with Stefano and Domenico.
WWW: What was your experience working with the brand, and on this campaign?
Perry: I’ve had such a fun experience on this campaign. When you start the relationship with three days on Capri, you can’t go wrong! I got to be on a boat for some of the scenes, and then walked all around the island, getting in some pizza and pasta along the way. It’s also been wonderful being in NYC and seeing my fans who also love Dolce & Gabbana at Macy’s!

Harry Styles knows hair isn’t what makes you beautiful — but that doesn’t mean all his fans are OK with his new ‘do.
The singer, 29, was recently spotted sporting a new hairstyle while attending U2’s Sphere concert in Las Vegas with rumored girlfriend Taylor Russell. According to photos obtained by TMZ, Styles, who is known for his luscious brown curls, opted for a new short buzzcut-look while dancing with Russell, 29, to some of the band’s biggest hits.
The hair transformation seems to be a recent decision, as Styles was seen rocking a full coif while spending time with Russell in London earlier this fall.
When images of Styles’ shorter style surfaced earlier this week, fans of the musician immediately took to social media to react to the change. “How tf are you gonna be named Harry Styles with no hair to style,” one person joked via X (formerly Twitter). Another added: “This day will be remembered in history for the day the world collectively mourning [sic] over Harry Styles’ beautiful hair.”
Some speculated that the chop was in response to Taylor Swift’s new song off her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) rerelease “Now That We Don’t Talk.” The track describes an ex-flame — rumored to be Styles – who grew out their locks after the breakup.
“You grew your hair long / And you’ve got new icons / And from the outside, it looks like you’re trying lives on,” she sings. “I miss the old ways / You didn’t have to change / But I guess I don’t get a say. / Now that we don’t talk.”
Swift, 33, and Styles were first romantically linked in December 2012 before breaking up months later while on a trip to the Virgin Islands. While their whirlwind romance appeared brief, her fifth studio album, 1989 — which initially was released in October 2014 — is believed by fans to be largely inspired by the pair’s relationship with songs like “Out of the Woods,” “Style” and more.
When Swift dropped her 1989 rerelease last month — along with five new bonus tracks “from The Vault” — eagle-eyed fans noticed various references between the new songs and the original tracklist.
Swift has never officially confirmed any of her music is about Styles — she famously doesn’t “name names” when it comes to her songwriting — but she has teased the idea of revealing her muses. After 1989 hit shelves, she told Rolling Stone that “Style” should have been titled, “I’m Not Even Sorry.’”

When Hailey Bieber wears leggings (which is a bit rare these days), she usually goes for a pair from ALO for a Pilates class. She’s really more of a baggy-pants or miniskirt girl these days, so I was surprised to see that she wore a leggings-as-pants outfit this week in Los Angeles. It was a very chic legging outfit at that, and it was far from a post-workout look.
Bieber’s daytime look consisted of a pair of Wardrobe.NYC stirrup leggings, which she paired with a black mock-neck top and an oversize camel blazer. She finished off the outfit with an oversize Saint Laurent tote bag and gold ’80-inspired earrings, but it was the shoe trend she chose that really put the look in “elegant” territory. Jenner’s current aesthetic can best be described as sophisticated and preppy quiet luxury, through and through. Emilia Wickstead may be based in London, but her true roots are in New Zealand. Wickstead was born and raised in Auckland, so her new partnership with Air New Zealand makes perfect sense. She’s teamed up with the airline to design new uniforms for more than 5000 employees, including cabin crew and pilots. The final designs won’t be unveiled until late 2024, but I got the scoop from Wickstead herself on what to expect.
“My work draws inspiration from tradition but always with a modern twist, so we are using clever design details to differentiate roles and responsibilities and to subvert expectations,” Wickstead told Who What Wear. “Poignant references to New Zealand’s cultural heritage will also play a role. New Zealanders are known for being grounded and humble, but there’s a deep sense of ceremony and occasion that runs through the culture, which extends to dressing up—we’ll be playing on this in the design of the uniforms.”
On the topic of travel, I also wanted to ask Wickstead about her go-to airplane outfit that combines style and comfort. “I like to travel in a pair of my tailored trousers and a knitted sweater,” she told me. And when it comes to packing, even a frequent traveler such as Wickstead admits to falling short of her aspirations. “I try to be a minimalist packer but always end up packing too much!” she told Who What Wear. “For women, I always think a great dress which can take you from day to night is a failsafe item to pack.” Who could argue with that?
Taylor Swift loves a girls’ night, and when she gets the crew together in NYC, they all dress to the nines—Selena Gomez included, of course. Over the weekend, Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, Brittany Mahomes, and Cara Delevingne joined Swift and Gomez at Bond St and we all got the requisite look at their outfits for the occasion. Gomez, in particular, went full-on fall with a belted camel sweater dress, tights, and a Saint Lauren bucket bag. But it was her chic slingback flats that caught my eye.
