These New Reformation Dresses Will Sell Out Before Spring Even Arrives

    [ad_1]

I know, I know. Why am I writing about dresses when it’s still January? But here’s the thing: Retailers are already starting to launch new spring clothes, and the early bird will certainly get the worm. Reformation dresses, in particular, tend to sell out lickety-split, so if I were you, I’d start planning your warm-weather wardrobe in well in advance of the sunny season.

I combed through Reformation‘s new-arrivals section and settled on the top 17 dresses, which are all included below. There’s a range of styles to choose from, including floral minis, jersey maxis, silk dresses worthy of wedding-guest attire, sundresses, and so much more. Scroll down to shop my favorite new Reformation dresses before they sell out.

  • Jennifer Lawrence Is Right: This Is the Chicest Flats Trend to Wear With Shorts

Jennifer Lawrence Is Right: This Is the Chicest Flats Trend to Wear With Shorts

    [ad_1]

Jennifer Lawrence clearly isn’t in New York anymore (for now, at least). We know that from the green grass and the shorts outfit, she’s currently in L.A. But as far as shorts outfits go, it is reasonably winter-appropriate. The professional outfit consisted of a blazer, black tank top, and long trouser shorts. It’s the kind of shorts outfit that you could certainly get away with wearing to a business meeting. But we’re here to talk about her footwear.

Lawrence chose a polished flat shoe trend that you shouldn’t be surprised in the least to see worn with shorts a lot come spring and summer: Mary Janes. The sweet trend elevates shorts of any type—from denim cut-offs to trouser shorts like Lawrence’s—and it goes with a lot more than just shorts, as evidenced by how often Lawrence wears her The Row Mary Janes.

If you’re already starting to think about shorts season, now might be a good time to get yourself a new pair of Mary Janes. Scroll to shop our picks if you’re on the same page.

Jennifer Aniston and J.Lo Both Wore the Denim Trend I’m Replacing Skinnies With

    [ad_1]

I wouldn’t say that Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez have similar personal styles. The latter tends to be much bolder and more experimental. But here they are wearing identical outfit formulas in the same week in the same city. Who would have thought? They were both photographed in Los Angeles wearing black turtleneck sweaters, flared jeans, and top-handle bags. Are you taking notes yet?

Flared jeans happen to be one of my favorite denim trends right now—one that I’m willing to swap out my beloved skinny jeans for. In my opinion, they’re so much dressier than skinnies and help you look instantly polished. Scroll down to see how both well-dressed women style the same outfit combo and to shop similar pieces for yourself.

  • Rita Ora and Courtney Love Wore Highly Controversial Wedge Boots in Paris

Rita Ora and Courtney Love Wore Highly Controversial Wedge Boots in Paris

    [ad_1]

The couture runways aren’t the only places we’re seeing avant-garde fashion. Celebrity attendees such as Anne Hathaway and Apple Martin have spared no expense when it comes to their fashion week outfits, and the Fendi Haute Couture show was no exception. Both Rita Ora and Courtney Love wore Fendi’s wedge boots and pulled them off with ease.

You might remember that wedge boots and sneakers peaked in the early 2000s and 2010s, but we haven’t seen a lot of the polarizing trend recently. Given Fendi’s power to single-handedly shape the course of the fashion industry, I have a feeling these shoes will launch a wedge-boot trend in no time. Scroll down to see the photos.

  • Anne Hathaway Wore the Pretty Shoe Trend Everyone Will Wear With Jeans This Year

Anne Hathaway Wore the Pretty Shoe Trend Everyone Will Wear With Jeans This Year

    [ad_1]

New(-ish) fashion icon Anne Hathaway is in Paris for Couture Fashion Week, and she’s been keeping us on our toes with one incredible look after another (see here and here). One of her most casual looks of the week thus far featured a pretty (and somewhat flashy shoe trend): metallic shoes. Hathaway paired silver Western boots with wide-leg jeans and a peacoat, with the boots providing just the fashiony jolt the look needed during Couture Fashion Week.

Metallic shoes have been popping up more and more on the market and in my Instagram feed, and other chic celebrities (like Katie Holmes) have also worn the trend as of late. Not only that, but they were also worn by half of all of the models that walked in Chanel’s couture show this week (a gold cap-toe sock boot, to be exact). I happen to think that metallic shoes are the perfect match for jeans and I highly recommend investing in a pair if you’re a regular denim wearer (or not—they kind of go with everything).

Read on to see the aforementioned metallic boots in action and shop some of the internet’s chicest pairs.

Couture week continues. Today, Valentino presented its S/S 23 Haute Couture collection in Paris to much fanfare. While attendees included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Anna Wintour, Law Roach, Ashley Park, Sofia Carson, and Dove Cameron, I immediately zeroed in on Anne Hathaway‘s look in particular.

Her leopard-print mini dress and tights truly stole the show thanks to the intricate sequin embellishments—this look definitely deserves a zoom-in. Oh, and how could I forget the matching pointy-toe pumps and stunning Bulgari jewelry? • Anna Wintour Packed This Affordable Trend in Multiple Colors for Paris Couture

Anna Wintour Packed This Affordable Trend in Multiple Colors for Paris Couture

    [ad_1]

As the editor in chief of Vogue for over three decades, Anna Wintour obviously has an astute sense of style. Although the pages of the magazine have evolved over the years, Wintour’s personal wardrobe has remained, well, rather formulaic: No matter the season, she favors long floral dresses, leather heels or boots, and elegant outerwear.

Aside from her signature sunglasses, Wintour isn’t one to overly accessorize, which is why we were pleasantly surprised to see her in not one but two vibrantly colored scarfs while attending the recent Paris couture shows. The bright blue (no, not cerulean) and nearly neon yellow complemented both her floral dresses without being too matchy-matchy and provided a nice pop of color amid the gray winter weather.

Since we’re always taking notes on what Wintour deems trend-worthy, we’re excited to incorporate a few bold, colorful scarfs into our wardrobes over the next few months. Plus, it’s too affordable not to try. Visitors to NYC can purchase a pashmina for just $5 at almost any street vendor, but if shopping online is more accessible, don’t worry. Keep scrolling for several cozy scarfs in an array of colors for you to peruse or purchase.

Anne Hathaway’s Airport Outfit Is 100% Our Ideal Travel Attire

    [ad_1]

We’ve been fans of Anne Hathaway since long before she donned the Chanel boots in The Devil Wears Prada, so it has been an absolute delight seeing her conquer red carpets and press events in trendsetting style over the past several months. In fact, one might say we’re in the middle of an Anne Hathaissance!

Recently, she stepped out at the Sundance Film Festival wearing a Versace puffer jacket without pants. And of course, she nailed the Barbiecore trend last fall. So perhaps this head-to-shoelaces red outfit, including a duvet-like red jacket from Monse’s latest resort collection, is a sign of more statement outwear to come. Hey, we’re into it!

Not only does Hathaway’s eye-catching airport outfit appear to be extremely comfortable, but it’s also quite brilliant: Her gigantic jacket easily doubles as a blanket and is undoubtedly much softer than the plastic-wrapped fleece wraps handed out in coach.

With the President’s Day long weekend on our radar, we are looking forward to putting Hathaway’s airport-style hack to the test. Keep scrolling to shop red blanket-like coats, plus more pieces from her travel-day attire.

Hailey Bieber Wore the Skirt-and-Flats Outfit Trend Fashion Girls Won’t Quit

    [ad_1]

One of the most memorable, specific outfit trends to come out of 2022 was without a doubt the viral Miu Miu-inspired one that we’ve all come to know and love. If an image of a short miniskirt, white socks, and loafers comes to mind, ding ding ding! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen this outfit trend on Instagram, and I’m not mad about it. I personally love it and find it to be pretty versatile. And Hailey Bieber just expertly displayed how to make it work for winter.

While out in NYC over the weekend, Bieber paired her pleated miniskirt, white socks, and loafers with a polo sweater, black wool coat, and sheer tights. She looks cool in everything she wears but this look was especially chic, and is a perfect example of how to style it for cold weather (and you could always swap the sheer tights out for warmer opaque ones).

  • Kylie Jenner Just Wore the Prettiest Cinderella Shoes in Paris

Kylie Jenner Just Wore the Prettiest Cinderella Shoes in Paris

    [ad_1]

No matter the time of year, Paris always feels magical, and it looks like Kylie Jenner takes that literally. The 25-year-old beauty entrepreneur and mother of two attended the Maison Margiela fashion show in a Cinderella-inspired ensemble, complete with the label’s iconic Tabi stilettos in silver.

This demure yet style-savvy look is a bit of a departure for Jenner, and we love it. Although she is most often seen in swimwear, athleisure, or bold, barely there dresses, this fairytale-inspired look reveals a softer side of the youngest Kardashian-Jenner siblings. Could she be channeling a Disney favorite of her four-year-old daughter, Stormi? We can only hope this magic look didn’t disappear before midnight.

So, in between contemplating who is the fairest Kardashian or Jenner sister of them all, we’ve done a little fairy godmother trick of our own and conjured up the most radiant Cinderella-worthy shoes out there. This Is How Jeanne Damas Dresses Up Jeans for a Fashion Show in Paris

    [ad_1]

Of all the fashion weeks, Paris definitely has the most dressed-up attendees—sparkly dresses, stilettos, and designer jewels are all the norm in the City of Light. However, the men’s shows are a bit more casual, as evidenced by Jeanne Damas’s laid-back denim look. Photographed at the AMI show, she wore a cute polka-dot halter blouse with simple straight-leg jeans and black ankle boots. Later on, she added a black blazer tossed nonchalantly over her shoulders.

The simplicity of the outfit is what drew me to it. There’s nothing fussy about it—she’s hardly wearing any jewelry or makeup and isn’t even carrying a bag. But the silky blouse is the perfect piece to polish up her basic jeans and make her outfit more event friendly. Scroll down to shop pieces to re-create her Parisian outfit for yourself.

  • Olivia Wilde Wore the Latest Anti-Skinny-Jean Trend to Get Behind

Olivia Wilde Wore the Latest Anti-Skinny-Jean Trend to Get Behind

    [ad_1]

As far as celebrities go, Olivia Wilde is one that we always look to for denim inspiration. She wears jeans a lot—even on the red carpet from time to time. Flared, straight-leg, baggy, skinny—you name it and she’s worn it. But for a day out and about in Los Angeles earlier this week, Wilde wore a style that’s new for her, and it’s one that always comes back around: sailor jeans.

Sailor jeans are basically high-waisted jeans that are fitted at the top and wide-leg toward the bottom. They often have details such as patch pockets, double buttons, and trouser hems, and they can very easily be dressed up or down. Like skinny jeans, they often have stretch in the denim, so if that’s what you love about skinny jeans but are ready for a change, perhaps Wilde’s sailor jeans will inspire you to shop for a pair.

Scroll to see how Wilde styled hers (simply, with a cropped sweater-vest) and shop some of the best sailor jeans on the internet.

  • I Can’t Stop Thinking About Allison Williams’s Coats From the M3GAN Press Tour

I Can’t Stop Thinking About Allison Williams’s Coats From the M3GAN Press Tour

    [ad_1]

I know the point of a press tour is for actors to talk up their latest roles, but if I’m being completely honest, the only outcome I came to after seeing Allison Williams leaving press events all over New York City this week is that I want every single one of her many gorgeous coats—period. Since the start of the new year, Williams, who stars in 2023’s already-viral thriller M3GAN, has made appearances on The Today Show, LIVE with Kelly & Ryan, and more to promote the film. And each time she arrives at a studio, barring not one occasion, she’s been clad in a show-stopping piece of outerwear. Oh, and the looks underneath were chic too.

First up there was the black, cashmere Lafayette 148 coat she wore atop a plaid maxi dress from the brand’s Resort ’23 collection that she recycled for an occasion later that day, swapping out the dress for a simple black skirt-and-sweater set and leopard-print Mach & Mach pumps. Mere hours later, the former Girls actress changed into a navy-blue Tory Burch coat and a color-block set from fall/winter 2022. The next day brought an off-the-runway Sportmax look that I can’t do justice with words. Scroll down to see the look and more of Williams’s incredible outerwear from her press tour for M3GAN, which, if you’re up for it, is out now.

This English Fragrance House Has Been Making Artisanal Perfumes for 260 Years

    [ad_1]

Over seven generations (and 260 years), The House of Creed has defined itself as one of the most recognizable and celebrated luxury fragrance houses worldwide. The brand started its unique journey in 1760 as a tailor shop founded by James Henry Creed in Mayfair, London, before shifting to high-quality, artisanal fragrances for men and women. After relocating to Paris in 1854 at the request Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie following the brand’s appointment as the official supplier of the royal household, Creed quickly became associated with socially prominent clientele ranging from royals to aristocrats.

The brand has since created over 200 luxurious perfumes, each filtered, bottled, and labelled by hand at the brand’s family-run factory in Fontainebleau. This amazing tradition is continued by CEO Olivier Creed, who is the seven-generation descendant of founder James Henry Creed. That’s right: The fragrance house has remained in the same family since it was founded.

Read on to discover which of the brand’s niche, artisanal perfumes are absolutely worth the investment.

From dating drama to Don’t Worry, Darling, 2022 was quite a year for Olivia Wilde. And, we’re glad to see her end it on a quiet but high note. The actress and director was spotted while out shopping in Paris wearing what might just be the most ideal cold weather denim outfit we’ve seen this season.

Clad in bootcut jeans, an oversize black shearling biker jacket, and sold-out Khaite Calgary boots, Wilde’s style managed to be both accessible and aspirational—lest we forget to point out the Proenza Schouler PS1 Tiny Satchel she was toting—for anyone seeking easy winter outfit inspo.

Paired with a warm turtleneck sweater and red manicure, the fresh-faced star’s look reminds us that a great pair of jeans is essential for all seasons, but it’s the accessories and outerwear that makes even the most basic outfits—jeans and a turtleneck—into the perfect winter denim look.

If you’re channeling big Olivia Wilde energy in 2023, then you’ve come to the right place. Ahead we’ve pulled several black jackets, boots, bags, and, of course, jeans, to help you achieve this O.W.-approved look this season.
