  • Coronation Street spoilers for next week: First look as Carla and Lisa get back together

    [ad_1]

In Coronation Street spoilers for next week, Carla and Lisa get back together after some wise words from Roy.

Elsewhere, Kit tells Shona the truth about Jodie’s bruises.

All this and more in Coronation Street spoilers for next week.

    1. Megan arranges a secret meet-up in Coronation Street spoilers next week

On the Street, Megan drops a bombshell on Will – she’s going away for a while. Will instantly panics and can’t help but ask what she’ll say if anyone thinks she’s ill. He’s worried, and it’s written all over his face.

Later, outside the school, Will goes full drama mode, begging Megan to dump Daniel because it’s killing him seeing them together. Megan promises she’ll try, keeping him sweet… for now.

Over dinner at the bistro, Daniel apologises for being a bit intense but confesses he can’t help how he feels about her. When he casually suggests reporting Will’s ‘harassment’ to Mrs Crawshaw, Megan swiftly changes the topic. Smooth deflection.

Things get spicier at the athletics meet when a runner named Lee reminds Will they used to race in Hull.

While Will is distracted, Lee rings Megan – and she arranges to meet him in the ginnel after the race. What’s Megan plotting?

    2. Shona wants the truth from Jodie

With David stuck at the hospital, a knackered Shona barely gets her slippers on before Jodie launches into attack mode.

She drags up their shared past, accusing Shona of ditching her with their nightmare parents and never caring. Subtle? Not even slightly. Shona’s left reeling – and wondering how on earth to respond.

Trying for calm, Shona takes Jodie for breakfast at the café… but it all goes sideways when Kit walks in and Jodie bolts like she’s seen a ghost. Back at No.8, Shona demands answers, curious how Jodie even knows Kit in the first place.

Kit fills in the blanks, revealing he found Jodie in the woods on crash night – wrists bound, petrified, and clearly fleeing someone. Shona’s stunned.

Meanwhile, Jodie attends a domestic abuse support group, absorbing Ellie’s harrowing story… until Bethany rings to say Jodie’s back home mid-meltdown.

Later, Jodie plays happy helper at the café, flirts outrageously with Carl (earning a sharp warning from Abi), while Shona admits to David she’s tempted to track down their dad to uncover the real truth.

Something’s not adding up – and Jodie’s rewriting more than memories.

    3. Carla and Lisa get back together

At Underworld, Betsy goes full emotional negotiator, reminding Carla they were once a proper family – and could be again – insisting both she and her mum still love her. No pressure.

Over in the café, Roy gently tells Lisa it’s the anniversary of Hayley’s death and that he’s heading to the boating lake where he scattered her ashes.

In peak Roy wisdom mode, he also nudges Carla to make peace with Lisa, because Hayley definitely wouldn’t approve of the sulking.

Fate jumps in when Carla pops into the bistro to book a client lunch and is handed a letter from Ryan, inviting her to lunch… with Lisa. Romantic, right? Except Carla’s forced to switch her phone off mid-meal and accidentally ghosts Lisa completely.

A very drunk Lisa storms into the hotel restaurant and tears strips off Carla for standing her up. Awkward.

The next morning, a painfully hungover Lisa admits she remembers almost none of it – but all’s forgiven, as the pair announce at the Rovers they’re officially back together. Cheers all round.

There’s unwanted bonus drama though as a teary Sally turns up unloading marriage woes on Lisa. Carla quietly calls Tim to come collect his wife. Exit Sally.

    4. Tyrone has it out with Carl

Carl Webster steps out of the bathroom in the Street Cars flat and gets the fright of his life – Tyrone’s there, blocking the exit and brandishing his crutch like a weapon. Not exactly a warm welcome.

Tyrone slams him against the wall and demands the truth, no messing, no escape.

Later in the Rovers, Tyrone spills all to Fiz and Kevin, recounting the showdown blow by blow.

Whether Carl’s secrets are finally about to come out remains to be seen… but Tyrone clearly isn’t backing down.

    5. A truce is made as Ben is rushed to hospital

Leanne breezes into the pub and casually drops a bombshell, suggesting to Maggie that she’d like to buy her out. Eva nearly chokes on her drink, while Maggie immediately smells a conspiracy and accuses Eva of sneaky backroom plotting.

As Eva and Maggie swap insults over the fate of Maggie’s share, Ben heads off to sort the beer delivery – and promptly clutches his chest. Not great timing. Leanne ups the ante with a £160k offer, which Maggie flatly rejects, before chaos strikes when Leanne’s bag tangles around a bar stool and sends Maggie sprawling.

Eva then spots Ben looking grey and clammy. When he admits he’s been having heart palpitations, Eva dials for an ambulance in full panic mode. Over at A&E, Will is already hovering anxiously over an unwell Megan – could secrets be about to spill?

Back at home, Eva and Maggie are still squabbling over Ben’s breakfast until Ben snaps. Finally, they agree to call a truce – for his heart, if nothing else.

    6. Kevin loses control in Coronation Street spoilers next week

Kevin drags himself home and gloomily stares at an old photo of him and Debbie, back when life wasn’t a complete mess. The nostalgia quickly curdles into rage and before you can say ‘anger management,’ Kevin’s tearing the living room apart in a full-blown meltdown.

Tyrone, who’s followed him in, stands frozen in shock as cushions fly and emotions spill. Finally spent, Kevin admits to Tyrone that he’s at the end of his rope – exhausted, heartbroken, and with nowhere left to turn.

  • Coronation Street spoilers for next week: First look as Carla ends relationship with Lisa

    [ad_1]

In Coronation Street spoilers for next week, Carla decides to call time on her relationship with Lisa Swain.

Elsewhere, Summer collapses in front of her friends. Will she be OK?

All this and more in Coronation Street spoilers for next week.

    1. Becky causes trouble for Costello

Things are getting deadly serious for Becky Swain in Coronation Street and the threats are no longer subtle.

Becky is rocked when a funeral wreath arrives with a chilling message: ‘Rest in Peace – Again!’ The sinister delivery sends Betsy into a panic, while Becky wastes no time confronting Costello. She’s convinced someone’s out to get her and she’s determined to find out who.

Later, Becky’s spotted in the precinct snapping secret photos of a group of teenage girls. What’s she up to? And who’s she watching?

Back at the station, Kit arrives for his big promotion interview but things take a dark turn when Costello receives a disturbing message. It’s a photo of his daughter, and it shakes him to the core.

As Kit leaves, Costello takes a tense call from Becky. But just outside the office, Kit lingers… and listens.

And when Costello fails to show up for work, Kit starts to worry. He then finds out that Costello’s been attacked, and he thinks Becky is to blame. Is he right?

    2. Carla wants out in Coronation Street spoilers next week

With Lisa set to meet Carla for lunch, Becky’s already scheming. But when Lisa finds her drunk and dishevelled on the Street, she takes pity and brings her home to sober up.

Becky, drowning in self-pity, admits she’s hit the bottle hard, claiming she’s lost everything. After a quick shower, she reappears wearing Lisa’s bathrobe… just as Carla walks in, having been stood up.

The sight of Becky playing house is too much for Carla, who’s left furious and heartbroken. She demands Becky leave immediately.

But when Lisa doesn’t back her up, the cracks start to show and Carla calls time on the relationship. Is this the final straw for Swarla? Has Becky pushed things too far?

    3. Carl cooks the books

As Debbie returns to work, Carl quietly fakes a payment and blames a missing invoice on her. Tracy’s furious, Debbie’s in tears, and Ronnie’s urging her to step away before things get worse.

Meanwhile, Carl locks Ryan out of the accounts and declares the finances are now his turf. Then, just as Debbie’s anxiety hits boiling point, she’s told she’s speaking at a major event tomorrow.

With pressure mounting and secrets piling up, is Debbie heading for a total breakdown?

    4. Kev wants to rival the Rovers in Coronation Street spoilers next week

Kevin Webster proudly shows off his latest purchases to Steve and Dev: a barrel of beer and a dartboard. His plan? To turn his place into a DIY pub.

But this isn’t about fun and games, it’s all part of Kevin’s mission to dodge Abi and Carl. With tensions rising, he’s choosing beer over bust-ups.

    5. Asha’s ready to come home

In emotional upcoming scenes, Dev shares that Asha’s asked him to visit her in the mental health unit. When he arrives, she opens up. She’s feeling stronger and wants to return home.

But there’s a catch. While she knows her family’s behind her, Asha’s gutted that none of her friends have reached out. The silence is deafening.

Back in Weatherfield, Dev lashes out at Summer, Nina, and Amy for turning their backs on his daughter.

And in a gut-wrenching moment, he reveals Asha’s now unsure if she even wants to come home at all.

Will her friends step up before it’s too late?

    6. Asha gets a surprise visit but it takes a turn

Nina and Amy pay Asha a heartfelt visit at the unit, bringing a touching gift – a custom jigsaw of the three of them together. It’s a sweet gesture, but there’s one piece missing.

They explain that Summer couldn’t make it due to uni, but plans to come later. Asha puts on a brave face, but the disappointment is clear.

When Summer finally shows up, things take a dramatic turn. Just moments after arriving, she clutches the doorframe… and collapses.

What’s going on with Summer, and how will Asha cope with yet another shock?

    7. Theo’s secret is about to blow up

Todd’s had enough. He accuses Theo of railroading him into half-marathon training, but Theo insists it’s all for his own good, and there’s another run on the cards.

When Todd asks about Pete, Theo lies, claiming Pete’s ghosting him. But Sarah soon spots the truth, catching Theo and Pete looking cosy as they climb into a van.

She’s not having it. Sarah bangs on the window and demands answers. Theo finally cracks, revealing he and Pete have signed a contract, and he’s planning a surprise for Todd.

Pete throws shade, comparing Sarah to an attack dog… just as Todd turns the corner and sees her squaring up to them both. Todd’s mortified. Theo’s fuming. And Sarah? She’s not backing down.

    8. Theo gets jealous in Coronation Street spoilers next week

Theo unveils a full-length mirror, telling Todd it’s time to track his progress daily. After a gruelling run, Todd’s barely standing, but Theo pushes for another lap… just as James starts flirting.

Later, James pops by with fitness gear and insists on giving Todd a hands-on demo. Theo’s seething.

As James leaves, Theo Silverton snaps, accusing Todd of fancying him. Todd denies it, but Theo grabs him and unleashes his fury.

Is Todd in deeper than he realises?

  • Follow-up: As Becky declares continued love for Lisa, Coronation Street fans predict Lisa will cheat on Carla

    [ad_1]

Becky Swain tried to lure Lisa back into her arms in Coronation Street tonight (Monday, September 22), but could Lisa cheat on wife-to-be Carla?

Lisa was persuaded by Betsy to help Becky move some things into her new flat nearby.

However, things were made awkward when Lisa’s car ran out of fuel.

Becky tries to win Lisa back

Becky Swain popped round to visit Betsy today and informed her that she was moving out of the hotel and into a nearby flat… to make sure that the family were safe.

Betsy then said that Lisa had the day off work and could help her move some of her stuff in, with Lisa reluctantly agreeing.

However, Lisa’s car soon ran out of fuel. Becky then used this as the perfect opportunity to quiz her on her feelings for Carla.

Lisa admitted that she was really happy with Carla Connor. Becky told her that she was genuinely pleased for her. This didn’t stop her from trying to soften Lisa up by telling her that she was unable to move on herself, jealous of the ‘love of her life’ moving on without her.

She then tried to gift Lisa her favourite chocolate mouse. After this, Carla and Betsy turned up with fuel for the car but Carla secretly wanted to keep an eye on Lisa and Becky.

In the Rovers later on, Carla then admitted to Lisa that she felt insecure about Becky and felt like a ‘marriage wrecker.’

Coronation Street fans fear Lisa will cheat on Carla with Becky

Despite Lisa telling Carla that she has nothing to worry about, Carla’s panicking that her bride-to-be will soon go back to her wife.

And, fans now think that Lisa will do just that and cheat on Carla with Becky.

One fan took to X and wrote: “And as I said earlier, Corrie doesn’t care about anything except views and viewers. Lisa will cheat on Carla, and it will be Betsy’s fault; she never wanted or loved Carla from the start. I feel sorry for Carla. She’s the victim here.”

Another added: “Swarla fans today (me included)… let’s hope Lisa doesn’t cheat!!”

A third person fumed: “If Lisa cheats, I am done! Why, just why? Lisa come on girl, you even took a blow to the head from Rob to save Carla. Someone please do something about Becky, I cannot deal!!”

  • Coronation Street follow-up: As Becky vows to stay in Weatherfield, spoilers reveal major trust issues for Carla over Lisa

    [ad_1]

Despite Lisa’s wishes, Becky decided to stick around in Coronation Street tonight (Wednesday, September 17) and it isn’t good news for Carla.

Becky couldn’t help herself and went against Lisa’s wishes, reuniting with Betsy.

Betsy then went home to tell Lisa that Becky was still alive, soon realising that she already knew.

Becky and Betsy reunite in Coronation Street

Tonight, Carla Connor contacted Becky and asked her to come to the house in a bid to get Lisa to talk to her about seeing Betsy.

Lisa was livid with Carla for summoning Becky behind her back. Lisa then stood firm in her decision to stop Becky from seeing their daughter.

Unable to stay away though, Becky Swain approached Betsy at the precinct just as she was talking to Ryan. Betsy was shocked to the core as she struggled to process her mum still being alive.

Telling Ryan that she needed to break the news to Lisa, Betsy returned home to find out that she already knew the truth.

Betsy then pleaded with Becky to stay as she’d only just got her back, but Lisa wanted Becky gone.

Once Betsy was asleep, Becky revealed that she was off to stay in a local hotel for a few nights and that she wasn’t going anywhere.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal Carla’s worries

Carla was struggling tonight to support Lisa, upset that she’d been sidelined as Lisa focused all of her attention on her wife Becky instead.

And it seems her fears only intensify next week as spoilers reveal that Lisa helps Becky move into a nearby flat after being encouraged to do so by Betsy.

With the car running out of fuel, Becky uses the moment as a chance to quiz Lisa on Carla.

Meanwhile, Carla chats to Ryan Connor and admits that she trusts Lisa but can’t say the same about Becky… Should Carla be worried?

Coronation Street: As Carla gets a divorce from Peter, will he ever return to the Street?

    [ad_1]

In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Friday, October 4), Carla received her divorce papers from Peter. But, will he ever return?

Viewers will know that Peter left the Street on Boxing Day last year, ending his marriage to Carla.

Now, Carla and Peter’s divorce has been finalised… But, what does this mean for a potential Peter return in the future?

The divorce papers came through tonight (Credit: ITV)

Coronation Street: Peter and Carla’s divorce

On Boxing Day last year, Peter and Carla ended their marriage in an emotion moment.

After Peter killed Stephen Reid with his car, tensions were high. And, Carla didn’t know how was best to help her husband.

Noticing that Peter was no longer happy in the relationship, Carla urged him to join his friend on his boat, knowing that it was his dream to get out of Weatherfield and travel.

The pair then kissed each other goodbye and never looked back. Getting the news that Peter had started seeing someone new after seeing pictures of him through Simon earlier this year, tonight, everything got real for Carla.

She received the divorce papers, finalising the end of her marriage to Peter. After being in a mood with everyone all day, she finally opened up to Ryan about how much receiving the papers had affected her.

    Will Peter ever return?

Peter Barlow seems to have fully moved on from Carla. He’s sailing at sea, with a new beau and son Simon by his side.

And, in scenes to come, it looks like Carla might be about to move on too as she feels a spark between herself and friend DS Lisa Swain.

Away from the cobbles, actor Chris Gascoyne is currently working on new projects. After appearing in panto, Chris has appearances to come in upcoming productions The Feud, and Go Away!.

There have been no talks of Chris reprising his role as Peter currently, but the door has been left open should he wish to return in the future.

Throughout the years, viewers have seen Peter Barlow come and go a number of times so we shouldn’t rule out a Peter return at some point down the line.

    Christmas present

Things haven’t been great between Peter Barlow and his wife Carla since the shocking events surrounding Corrie killer Stephen Reid back in October.

Peter killed Stephen when he ran him over with his car, thinking he was going to attack Jenny.

Though the police didn’t charge Peter, he’s been struggling with the weight of his guilt ever since. He’s even been tempted to turn back to the booze.

And things have been tense between Peter and Carla because she’s been so focused on saving the factory after Stephen almost destroyed it.

So as Christmas Day dawns, it’s clear the pair have both been thinking about their future.

    The ghost of Christmas past

In an emotional episode on Boxing Day, Carla and Peter look back over their relationship and realise that though they will always love one another, they’re starting to think they would be better off apart.

The pair sit down together to eat a last supper and try to come to terms with a future without each other, as Peter prepares to wave goodbye to Coronation Street.

    Sad goodbye

Decision made, Peter heads out of the flat with his luggage, closely followed by Carla.

And he’s touched and surprised to find his whole family waiting for him, ready to say goodbye. Except for son Simon – where’s he got to?

Peter says an emotional farewell to the Barlows, and promises dad Ken that he’ll keep in touch.

    And then he’s off!

Will he be back? Or is this the last we’ll see of Peter Barlow? Sadly we can’t answer that – although the door is being left open for him!

Coronation Street: Peter Barlow’s exit sees him sail the world?

Coronation Street teased the exit of Peter Barlow tonight when he tried to persuade Carla they should leave Weatherfield to crew a yacht.

But is this how he will leave the soap as Chris Gascoyne’s departure nears?

    Peter struggles in Corrie

After he killed Stephen Reid last month, Peter has been battling with his demons once again. He’s been growing closer to ex Toyah as she supports him. He’s also been struggling with the urge to drink again and is attending AA meetings.

His wife, Carla, meanwhile left him to deal with it all alone in an attempt to save her business. She headed off to Spain to salvage a deal and stop the factory going under after Stephen stole all the cash from the Underworld account.

The trip was unsuccessful and she came home to discover Ken’s fears Peter was drinking again.

He isn’t, but has now admitted he’s struggling.

Carla has made an attempt to support him, but when the factory was thrown into chaos once again her attention was once more diverted away from her marriage.

Fans have been pretty unimpressed at the way Carla has put the business before her marriage. They have complained it’s a complete personality transplant for the character who always loved Peter fiercely.

What happened in Coronation Street tonight?

Carla was fighting to save the factory after the police revealed they could not trace the cash Stephen stole. The workers hadn’t been paid and Sarah was in a panic as to how much longer they could get them to keep stitching.

Carla knew if they could just get this order out it would mean cash on delivery and she could pay the wages. However, rather than be honest about that she lied to the staff. She told them the police had traced the money Stephen took and they’d be getting paid tonight.

When the truth came out (thanks to Beth), the workers downed tools and walked out.

Carla and Sarah tried to talk them round, then Peter stepped in a let rip. Eventually, he managed to save the day by roping in other people, such as Nina and Evelyn, to finish the job. Sally and Izzy also came back.

Although Carla was relieved, she was left in shock when Peter made a suggestion. He wants them to give up their life in Weatherfield and sail the world – next week.

    Peter’s exit plot revealed?

He told his wife all about his mate who was working on yachts in Majorca and making lots of money. When Carla said she could murder a holiday like that (poor choice of words, perhaps?!) Peter stopped her.

“I’m not talking about a holiday, he’s looking for a crew. What do you say? You, me, sailing off into the sunset?”

Carla was stunned into silence then told him he can’t run away from his problems. When she insisted it was too spur of the moment and unthought out, he told her that’s the “beauty” of it. He wanted them to just go for a year and then revealed the idea was to set sail next week.

“Next week?” Carla cried. “Do you really think I can just pack up my life and my business and just go off in a few days? Sorry, it’s a very hard no from me.”

And as she walked off to take a business call, Peter put his head on the desk looking depressed and defeated. So will he take the option to go alone? Will the call of the sea be too much for Peter to refuse? Is his Coronation Street exit set to see him sailing the world – without Carla?

Big Christmas for Carla and Peter in Coronation Street ahead of his exit

Coronation Street has confirmed that there will be a special two-hander episode with Peter and Carla which will air on Boxing Day. So if Peter is going to set sail, it probably won’t be next week!

Speaking to Entertainment Daily! and other media, Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod revealed: “They find themselves at this enormous fork in the road where they love each other but perhaps their happiness is no longer reliant on each other, which is to say, maybe they start to wonder if they’d be happier somewhere else.”

Iain added: “There’s a huge two-hander between the two of them, more or less they’re the only two cast in the episode, that is a greatest hits compilation, for those of you that have been big fans of Peter and Carla since the start, that picks over every single detail of who they are, what they’ve been as a couple, what they want for their futures, what happiness looks like for them.”

Finally, Iain shared: “It’s building towards an exit for Peter which is really brilliant and bittersweet and feels like Corrie at its very best.”

Chris Gascoyne confirmed he was taking a break as Peter earlier this year. But it’s hoped the door will be left open for his return.

Carla and Sarah try to get Underworld back on track

When Carla arrives home after a fruitless business trip to Spain, she’s still annoyed with Peter for his recent actions. Meanwhile, Sarah feels guilty, knowing that it was Uncle Stephen who ruined Underworld’s reputation.

Carla is furious when she learns that Sarah has given Michael his job back. However, Sarah sticks up for Michael, pointing out that the situation is not Michael’s fault.

Later, Carla is dismissive when Michael reveals that he’s working on some new designs. But when a potential new client comes in for a meeting, Carla has second thoughts, and tells Michael to fetch his portfolio.

Carla tells a lie in Coronation Street spoilers

The next day, with Stephen’s money still nowhere to be found, Sarah and Carla realise that they can no longer pay their staff. The only way of saving Underworld is if they can get the new client order out tomorrow – with cash on delivery.

But if they fail, Underworld is dead in the water.

Carla lies to the workers, telling them that the bank has traced the stolen money. She claims that they’ll all be paid by the end of the day, but they need to crack on with the order.
