Cardi B recently took to social media to announce that she is expecting her third child. She posted some photos, flaunting her belly and wrote a heartfelt caption.
Check out the post below:
The rapper added, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and cannot wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Recently, news about Cardi B and Offset heading towards a divorce have been surfacing on social media. While reports suggest that the rappers are parting ways, neither Cardi B, nor Offset have directly opened up about it.
The rapper shares two other kids with Offset, 6-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave.
Cardi B is pregnant! The rapper announced her third pregnancy on Thursday, August 1 in a post shared to Instagram.
In the post, Cardi poses against a backdrop of glittering New York City, standing on a balcony wearing a floor-length red fur coat and matching gown. In the two shots included in the carousel, Cardi is seen cradling her belly with a soft smile.
Cardi’s joyful news comes just hours after she made headlines for reportedly filing for divorce from husband and fellow rapper Offset, as confirmed by a representative to Page Six. Cardi alluded to the breaking reports of their split in her caption.

“With every ending comes a new beginning!” she started her announcement, seemingly addressing her new baby in the remainder of the post. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Offset and Cardi B, who were married in September 2017 and would have celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary this year, share two children together: daughter Kulture (age 5) and son Wave (age 2).
Cardi had previously filed for divorce from Offset in 2020, but the two later reconciled. In an Instagram Live that year, Cardi cleared the air on the reasoning behind their intended divorce. “Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart,” she said at the time. “…Sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave.”

Eminem dipped into his Eminem Songs of the Early 2000’s bag for his new “Houdini” single. And we just know it has Megan Thee Stallion asking in her bestNene Leakes voice, “Now how did I get in it?”
Needless to say, the internets are going back and forth about whether Em was legitimately showing love by saying he wants to ask for a feature (with feat being short for feature), or was he being the old school Slim Shady who was a raging misogynist who got away with saying whatever he wanted on songs?
He even sent shots to his own kids and himself, tbh. Typical Marshall Mathers.
For what it’s worth, Meg said “I feel like Mariah Carey” on “Hiss” when talking about all the rappers obsessed with hating on her. And she was referencing Mariah’s “Obsessed”, which was a diss track of towards Eminem. We highly doubt she was even thinking about Eminem in that moment, but he could just be returning the favor in his own way.
what exactly did this girl do to deserve this type of harassment by male rappers constantly? I mean genuinely what did she do? https://t.co/JAVjY3QLj7
Is it too much to ask that as we enter Black music month in a few days that folks not allow Eminem to make light of Megan, a BW who was a victim of gun violence, to be targeted in a song by a white rapper? Folks are too comfortable disrespecting Black women. pic.twitter.com/fH8FmD7Gi7
Eminem has used women’s pain and trauma to further his career, his entire career. His career is nothing if he doesn’t involve a woman in unnecessary drama for outrage attention.
For some reason, male rappers love coming at Meg and especially making fun of the fact she was shot by a male rapper. So, there’s that.
“Houdini” is the first song off Em’s final (according to him) album, and he inserted his “Guess Who’s Back” lyrics in the song, so he very well could have been at least a bot (Slim) shady.
The video for the song had a few celeb friends making cameos as well.
Meanwhile, Megan hasn’t addressed the lyrics, but she did drop her own song with her rap besties Cardi B. and GloRilla. They remixed “Wanna Be” and with a cute animated video:

Netizens believe Cardi B and Bia are engulfed in a beef after Cardi dropped her remix to GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song “Wanna Be.”
The alleged rap feud comes two months after the femcees traded insults at one another over X, formerly Twitter.
Speculation about the rap star’s alleged feud soared across the social media platform on May 31, following the release of the remix to GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s collaborative hit “Wanna Be” featuring Cardi.
On the three-minute trap anthem, the Bronx native seemingly took a jab at Bia, scolding her for their internet feud that popped off in March after fans accused the stars of copying each other’s music.
“Guess I’m a teacher since you wanna sub me / She did what? Had no idea,” Cardi rapped mocking Bia’s rap cadence. “Thought she was on the shelf, IKEA / Hope she talk like that when I see her / B***h please, don’t nobody wanna be ya.”
“Cheap lookin’ ass ho, weak lookin’ ass ho/Great Value me lookin’ ass ho,” she continued. “Girl, these b***hes be p*ssy/Delete every tweet lookin’ ass ho.”
In early March, several internet users accused Bia of copying the “Bodak Yellow” emcee after a snippet of Missy Elliott and Timbaland’s hit song “She’s A B*tch” was featured in her viral freestyle “I’m That B***,” which was also used in Cardi’s “Like What (Freestyle)” shared at the top of the month.
Bia claimed that the allegations were downright “sick.”
The tension between the two female rap standouts hit a boiling point when fans of Bia quickly scolded Cardi for allegedly ripping off elements of the Boston-bred artist’s 2023 hit “Fallback” in the music video for her “Like What (Freestyle),” Hip-Hop Dxnoted.
Cardi took to social media out of self-defense to set the record straight, teasing an upcoming musical project, presumably her verse on the “Wanna Be” remix.
“B***s make a fool of themselves every single time [crying face emoji] .. ima show ya something when I release this song tho [winking face emoji],” she wrote on March 5.
Bia Reacts To Cardi, Megan Thee Stallion & GloRilla’s “Wanna Be (Remix)”
Bia wasted no time in addressing Cardi’s apparent dig in her latest track, taking to X to air her thoughts.
Mocking Cardi’s lyrics from her “Like That (Freestyle),” BIA penned;
“B***S IS WACK. B***S IS TRASH. I SHOULD HANG B***S RIGHT OVER MY KNEE, THE WAY I BE PUTTIN MY BELT TO THEY A***.”
She also defended herself against a Bardi Gang fan who called for her to retaliate with a diss track aimed at the Grammy Award-winning artist.
“B**** you don’t want me in the booth I’m REALLY like that,” BIA’s post read.
Do you think Cardi B and BIA are really beefing? If so, who’s winning so far? Tell us in the comments.

A married couple being inseparable isn’t exactly breaking news—unless it’s Cardi B and Offset, who announced they went their separate ways at the tail end of last year.
Since their split, which Cardi made public in December 2023, the pair have come back together on multiple occasions, though they still haven’t confirmed whether or not their marriage is back intact. Most recently, the pair appeared together at a Met Gala after-party on Monday, which the “Be Careful” singer hosted in partnership with Revolve + Fwrd.

While the Migos rapper didn’t attend the Met Gala, he made his way to the after-party to support his wife, keeping things casual by wearing a floral Miu Miu jacket and a pair of jeans. Cardi opted for a much more extravagant look, wearing a red corset dress by REVOLVE Atelier, according to E! News.
The rapper’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, was also at the event, posing for pics with Cardi as she played hostess for the night.

Despite admitting to having sex on New Year’s Eve following their latest breakup, the former Love & Hip Hop star confirmed at the time that one night didn’t mean anything for their overall relationship.
“The answer to getting back together is not a good night at the club and f***ing the night long,” Cardi said during a livestream posted to X in January. “We need to work on our s**t. We need to work on our communication. There’s things that he needs to work on, there’s things that I need to work on.”

The couple has been seen together multiple times since then, including a basketball date at Madison Square Garden just last week. Still, they have yet to comment on the status of their relationship since Cardi declared she was “single” in December, so it’s unclear if they have officially reconciled, or if they’re just keeping it casual while co-parenting.
A while ago, we ranked the hottest music videos of all time. But a lot has happened since this article was last published, and we need to recognize a few more steamy music videos that had our jaws on the floor. We’ve added five more MV’s to the ranking because they deserved recognition.
5. Iggy Azalea “Work”
Iggy Azalea was the moment in 2013. This “Work” music video proves it.
4. Ariana Grande “7 rings”
She sees it, she likes it, she wants it, she got it. Ariana Grande is going for the money with this music video.
3. City Girls “Twerk ft. Cardi B”
Cardi B and City Girls teach us how to twerk…need I say more?
2. Nicki Minaj “Barbie Tingz”
One of Nicki’s wittiest songs, “Barbie Tingz” details all the relationships she’s had with different rappers throughout her career. Exposing men is one of Nicki’s finest moments, and this music video is about as steamy as it gets.
1. Cardi B. & Megan Thee Stallion “WAP”
You had to know it was coming. One of the most hyper-sexual songs in recent history from two of the biggest female rappers in the world. The music video with a cameo from Kylie Jenner is our steamiest music video of all time.
The music video is a very specific art form that many appreciate, but few really take the time to explore.
While you may have a quick answer to the question of the hottest music video you’ve ever seen, we doubt you could rank the hottest of all time. From Beyonce to Prince, we’ve made a definitive ranking of the ten steamiest music videos ever made.
Beyonce is the queen of the sparkly leotard. Her iconic love seat pose has given life to countless memes, and for good reason. This video is undeniably one of her hottest.
9. Selena Gomez “Hands to Myself”
Selena Gomez – Hands To Myself (Official Music Video)youtu.be
First of all, Selena Gomez+bangs is pretty fire. Second of all, Selena Gomez+bangs+lingerie+steamy bathtub shots= 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Usher doing anything is undeniably hot. We would watch the man tie his shoe laces and give him a standing ovation afterwards. In this video, we not only get steamy bedroom shots and plenty of oiled muscle, but also weird indoor-human-fish-tank moments that we’re admittedly pretty into.
This whole list could be Rihanna music videos and we’d stand by it. Out of all of Ri-Ri’s steamy videos, this is perhaps the most enticingly chaotic. Bonus: Rihanna has magnificent red hair in this clip.
Prince was the king of pushing boundaries, and this video was no exception. MTV loosened their standards specifically for this 1986 hit, and we’re so glad they did. Prince in a crop top? Yes please.
3. Beyonce “Drunk in Love”
Beyoncé – Drunk in Love (Explicit) ft. JAY Zyoutu.be
Yes, Beyonce made the list twice, but we just couldn’t help ourselves. While Beyonce looks as amazing as always in this video, what really puts it over the top is the way she undresses Jay-Z with her eyes. *Melts*
2. Chris Isaak “Wicked Game”
Wicked Game – Single Edit – Official Music Videoyoutu.be
This video is decidedly NSFW. Widely agreed upon across the internet to be one of the hottest videos of all time, “Wicked Game” will leave you speechless.
1. Britney Spears “Toxic”
Britney Spears – Toxic (Official Music Video)www.youtube.com
This video tops our list because it just doesn’t get more iconic than this. Say what you want about Britney, but she always delivered in the music video department.
As the first song on Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran to set the tone for Shakira’s twelfth album, “Puntería” is, thematically speaking, in direct contrast to most of the other tracks that appear on the record. Rather than expressing a sense of rage over being betrayed, a thirst for revenge or generally channeling “la loba” energy, this particular song is more about embracing the “ecstasy” of surrendering yourself to Cupid’s arrow. Granted, in the accompanying Dave Meyers-directed video, it’s about surrendering to Shakira’s arrow…if you happen to be a centaur. As Lucien Laviscount (best known, at this moment, for playing Alfie on the mind-numbing Emily in Paris) is in this fantastical scenario.
Indeed, Shakira’s arrow seems to have worked so effectively on him that rumors they’re dating have swirled since the video’s release (filled with plenty of believable PDA between the two). Such rumors being sent further into overdrive when the pair went out for dinner after her surprise performance in Times Square on March 26th. Alas, just ask Britney Spears how winding up with someone from your music video turns out.
Whoever Shakira “really” ends up with next though, they’ll be hard-pressed to do her as wrong again as Gerard Piqué did now that she has Cardi B in her life (even if only professionally). Joining Shakira “on high” as her right-hand woman in this mythical land that matriarchy seems to rule over. Something that Meyers in his Cukor-esque, “woman’s director” role (further cemented by recently directing Jennifer Lopez’s This Is Me…Now: A Love Story) is able to convey quite well, particularly through the Easter-inspired pastels of the color palette that shine through in every frame. Including not just Shakira and Cardi’s hair tones, but also the moment when Laviscount’s body is dragged back into Shakira’s “love lair,” whereupon she proceeds to sensually wipe away the blood on his chest in full-on “pietà pose” in between sitting on a petal-y flower like a grown-up Anne Geddes baby.
Such whimsical imagery was already established when Shakira descended from the clouds in a bubble (Gilda-style) at the beginning of the video. And it only continues when Laviscount is thrown into what one can presume is some “healing water” (sort of like what happens to Dakota Johnson in Madame Web). In fact, it’s so healing that it gives Laviscount legs (even though he already miraculously has them upon being dragged into the lair), stripping him of his “down below” horse body in favor of something much more…humanly masculine. Cue a riff on the Red Bull ad that goes, “Red Bull gives wiiiiiiings!” in favor of: “Shakira gives you leeeeeeeggggggggs!” Looking rather aroused by the prospect of what having a human lower half can mean for his relationship with Shakira, he approaches her on her flower to, let’s say, worship her like the love goddess she is.
Cardi B, instead, seems to have her own kink going on, preferring to keep her centaur as he is while brushing his body with a horsebrush and titillating him as she does so. All the while singing, “Tú tienes buena puntería/Sabes por dónde darme, pa que quede rendida/Me ataca onde más duele, tu a mí no me/Pero en tu cama o la mía, todo a mí se me olvida.” Which means, “You have good aim/You know where to hit me, so that I am exhausted/He attacks me where it hurts the most, you don’t hurt me/But in your bed or mine, I forget everything.”
And maybe Shakira has even forgotten about how much pleasure her latest former centaur was giving her, being that, by the end of the video, she seems to be on the hunt (literally) yet again, wielding her arrow at some other unsuspecting centaur soul (maybe even Camila Cabello, based on her “I LUV IT” video). The others, meanwhile, are huddled in a cluster in one of her little bubbles. Which goes to show, perhaps, that for as “lovey-dovey” as the song might be, it’s actually secretly in keeping with the “big pussy energy” of the rest of the album.

Shakira and Cardi B are depicted as powerful love goddesses, overseeing an army of centaurs, with Shakira’s love interest, Lucien Laviscount, portrayed as a centaur whom she enchants with a love arrow. This visual representation of the song’s themes of desire, dominance, and transformation adds a layer of depth and intrigue to the collaboration.

It’s no secret that “I Feel Like 2007 Britney” has been long overdue to be retired as a “cute” little phrase to hyperbolically announce one’s fraught mental state. Plastered on every form of “merch” from t-shirts to coffee mugs to magnets, its reference to a time in Britney Spears’ life when she was mercilessly mocked for having emotional difficulties has continued to be commodified via this “light-hearted” allusion to one of the most troubled years in her life (as was well-documented). And this in spite of all the kumbaya bullshit of late about how we should treat mental illness with more dignity and respect as opposed to poking fun at those who have clearly suffered from its toll. Whatever Spears “has” (apart from Too Much Time Spent Under Media Scrutiny Syndrome), a “post-woke” public ought to realize the insensitivity of a phrase like “I Feel Like 2007 Britney” by now, and that the narrative surrounding it is due for an overhaul.
Here to provide that is, rather unexpectedly, Cardi B. Managing to make Britney and her newfound freedom a key part of her verse on Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor Again,” Cardi deftly references Britney’s frequent twirls and choreographic tirades paraded on her Instagram account—the source of much endless dissection as fans continue to search for the “truth” behind her often arcane posts. But maybe, sometimes, “What U See (Is What U Get)”—except that time the #FreeBritney movement accurately read into her coded messaging for help throughout her conservatorship. Regardless, Cardi is overtly Team Treat Britney Like A Grown-Ass Woman Who Can Do Whatever She Wants. This extends into “rebranding” Britney entirely…whether she wanted to be or not (as most know, the pop star has never had much agency when it comes to what people project on her). But surely positioning Spears’ incessant dancing videos as a source of self-empowerment is far better than the other spectrum of the rhetoric that states she’s more “insane” than ever, and should be put back into a conservatorship. And the commentary in favor of that is eerily loud at a time when society believes it has moved “beyond” the whole slap women with a “hysteria” or “witchcraft” charge so as to be able to ultimately control them and keep the patriarchy alive and well.
As though to exemplify that point, “concerned” “fans” had police perform a well check on the singer in January of 2023 due to some of her “erratic behavior.” Including not just her dancing videos, but also her arbitrary deletion of Instagram, which sent people into a frenzy over their speculation that she’s still somehow being “controlled.” Spears was so affronted by the infiltration into her supposedly free existence that she posted the comment, “I shut down my Instagram because there were too many people saying I looked like an idiot dancing and that I looked crazy.” One person who patently does not feel that way and wants nothing more than for the dancing to continue is Cardi B. So it is that, during her one-minute verse for “Put It On Da Floor Again,” she raps, “I’m sexy dancin’ in the house, I feel like Britney Spears.” To further emphasize that line, she appears in the video for the song wearing a t-shirt that reads, “I Feel Like Britney Spears.” Repurposing it with a positive connotation, whereas, in the past, likening oneself to Britney has invoked a degrading stigma surrounding one’s fragile mental health. Albeit intended as “jocular.” However, with her seemingly small gesture, Cardi B is actively reshaping the narrative that Britney is somehow “crazy” for dancing in her house all the time when, in fact, her dancing is not only sexy, but a flagrant display of how she chooses to use her agency.
Unfortunately, Latto is in the mix to trivialize mental health in a similar fashion to what the “I Feel Like 2007 Britney” mantra does by declaring, “She thought I would kiss her ass, she must ain’t took her meds.” What’s more, Latto definitely wants to highlight that line by wearing it as a shirt in the video, specifically during the moment where she’s working behind a pharmacy counter and throwing a slew of pill bottles up into the air. So yes, there’s still some work to be done on ableist language coming from the so-called “mentally sound.” As for who Latto might be referring to with that line, one person in particular that pops up is Nicki Minaj. The two famously had beef after Latto expressed her affection for Minaj throughout her still-germinal career (as so many up-and-coming female rappers do), only for Minaj to leave a bitter taste in Latto’s mouth after dragging her into some Grammy controversy surrounding “Super Freaky Girl” being moved into the pop category for a nomination consideration, while Latto’s “Big Energy” remained, in the eyes of the Recording Academy, worthy of remaining in the rap category.
This “affront” to Nicki that really had nothing to do with Latto found them rowing on Twitter ferociously, with Latto calling Minaj a “40-year-old bully” and a “super freaky grandma.” For comments about “being old” are always the cheap shot insult of someone younger. Nonetheless, the beef Minaj stewed was in keeping with her notoriety for starting feuds with newer female rappers. The same, naturally, went for Cardi B when she first rose to prominence in 2017 with “Bodak Yellow.” Although the two initially played nice by collaborating on “MotorSport” (also released in 2017) with Migos together, it didn’t take long for their rivalry to crescendo into a physical clash by the time September 2018 rolled around. The two were both in attendance at New York Fashion Week when Cardi ended up with a huge bump on her head after getting in an altercation with Minaj’s security, managing to throw a shoe at her during the fracas. Soon after the fight, Cardi was featured on Quavo’s “Champagne Rosé” with Madonna, rapping braggadociously of those, like Nicki, convinced of her downfall, “They say my time is tickin’/These hoes is optimistic.” Similarly, Latto raps on “Put It On Da Floor Again,” “They thought I was gon’ fall off/I hate to bring you bad news.”
Thus, despite claims of a “peace treaty” in the aftermath, it seems pointed that Cardi chose to work with Latto, while Minaj placed her bets on collaborating with Ice Spice (rap’s freshest female ingenue) on a remix of “Princess Diana” for the win. And, considering Taylor Swift placed her own bets on Ice Spice as well, Minaj is probably the victor in this round (though not in the round that involved her diss track inspired by Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss”). What’s more, “Princess Diana” is definitely the better track, but Cardi makes “Put It On Da Floor Again” stand out via her inherently protective statement about Britney. Funnily enough, Cardi’s baby daddy, Offset, veered toward less favorable commentary about Spears on the aforementioned “MotorSport” by noting, “488, hit the gears/Suicide doors, Britney Spears.” The allusion here plays with another moment from Britney’s worst year ever—2007—when she proceeded to go apeshit on a paparazzo’s car door with a green umbrella after having recently shaved her head. Indeed, the images of her bald self as she maniacally wields this umbrella are arguably more famous than the head shaving photos themselves. So perhaps, in her own way (whether deliberate or subconscious), Cardi is also trying to correct the insensitivity of Offset’s mention of Spears in another song she was featured on.
Latto, who also “worked with” Cardi roundaboutly by appearing in the 2020 video for “WAP,” instead opts to tell us she feels more like Shawty Lo. The deceased rapper who is something of the “OG” Nick Cannon in terms of fathering many children from multiple women (with Shawty beating out Cannon, in one regard, by having eleven children from ten women, while Cannon has twelve children from a mere six women). Going by behavior patterns, Shawty Lo was surely the “crazier” one if he was to be compared to Britney Spears. And yet, as is the norm, the standards for women’s behavior being deemed “crazy” are far less lax than they are for men (see: Kanye West a.k.a. Ye).
As for Cardi’s “erstwhile” rival, Minaj, she, too, has come to the defense of Spears in the recent past. Namely, to lambast Britney’s ex, Kevin Federline, for posting videos that her sons filmed without her knowledge wherein she’s meant to be portrayed as, once again, “acting crazy.” Minaj declared of Federline’s smarmy maneuver:
“Do you understand what kind of a clown you have to be to be a whole grown fucking man and as soon as you see somebody happy and getting married and moving on and being free and feeling good in their own skin, to do the very thing that you know is going to attempt to break them down? Going to the media. Only cowards use the media against a famous person who they once loved, they procreated with, they’re being taken care of by, they once were being taken care of by, using the person’s fame as this constant ‘gotcha’ moment… And you think you not gonna have fucking karma from it? You think it’s okay? You think that anybody is gonna feel sorry for you?”
The affection that Black women seem to have for Britney can perhaps be explained by seeing in her some form of similar oppression and subjugation simply for being herself. For trying to live her life without it being twisted and mutated into her somehow doing something “wrong.” And so, for Cardi to do her part to help rewrite the script about what it means to “feel like Britney Spears,” well, that’s just ripe for quoting Ana Navarro when she said, “The power that that has, the intelligence that that has, the clearance that that has, the access that that has, the influence that that has, the profile that that has, the international implication that that has.”
As Cardi B continues her single-drop journey for 2024 (continuing to tease fans with the promise of a long overdue second album), she follows up the Missy Elliott-sampling “Like What (Freestyle)” with “Enough (Miami).” Opening the track with the repetition of “yeah” in a manner that harkens back to how she sounds at the beginning of “WAP,” Cardi says pretty much the same thing she does on “Like What (Freestyle)” about being superior to all other bitches and having more money than they do as well. The only marked distinctions between the two tracks (apart from beat) might be that Coach is name-checked in one, and Van Cleef in the other.
Both songs also mention Cardi’s “opps” “linking up” to conspire against her. In “Like What (Freestyle),” that sounds like, “First, that bitch hate me, then this bitch hate me/And somehow, they link up and they become friends, like, how?” In “Enough (Miami),” it becomes: “I see my opps linkin’ up, I’m like, ‘What in the fuck?’” Many believe Cardi is alluding to City Girls’ JT (which seems to add up via the song being titled “Enough [Miami]”—from whence City Girls hail, plus JT’s “other half” is Yung Miami) after the latter blatantly shifted to Team Nicki despite working with Cardi on 2019’s “Twerk.”
As for the visuals that accompany “Like What (Freestyle)” and “Enough (Miami),” the latter goes in an even more no-frills (and no clothes) direction (thanks to help from Patience Harding, in what marks her first music video in the role of director). Because at least “Like What (Freestyle),” directed by Cardi’s baby daddy a.k.a. “BD,” Offset, has an actual, tangible set. Even if it’s “just” a house. Albeit a lavish one. In “Enough (Miami),” Cardi takes the route that many rappers and pop stars alike before her have: going for the all-white backdrop (with some black and beige ones thrown in between). It’s a tradition that’s been employed by artists like Crystal Waters with “Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless),” MC Hammer with “U Can’t Touch This,” Warrant with “Cherry Pie,” Madonna with “Human Nature” (and, more germinally in her career, “Lucky Star”), Taylor Swift with “Shake It Off” and, to Cardi’s chagrin, Nicki Minaj with “Barbie Tingz.” And then, most recently of all, there’s been Miley Cryus’ rash of no-frills videos featuring only stark white or black backdrops, which we saw appear in “River,” “Used to Be Young” and, most freshly, “Doctor (Work It Out).”
And yet, per Cardi, she had the song (somewhat) ready back in January of 2023, which would have given her plenty of time to create a decent music video concept for it. But maybe what the lack of concept (apart from Cardi “looking hot” in a bunch of different couture outfits) says more than anything is that nothing is actually going on in the song—apart from the repetition of her usual profanities and insults, as well as flexes about how much money she has, and how embarrassing everyone else is for being poor. Something Cardi’s cohort, Megan Thee Stallion, got across quite effectively on Traumazine. And yes, Cardi uses a Megan Thee Stallion collaborator, OG Parker, for co-production on the track, with its beat being catchier than the lyrics themselves (though one does admire the Seussian stylings of Cardi rapping, “One bitch, two bitch, old bitch, new bitch/None of y’all bitches not gon’ do shit”).
Some might say that the lack of “plot,” so to speak, has more to do with putting a spotlight on the “striking” visuals Cardi is presenting with her body and clothes alone. However, if that’s the case, then why not go another similar route to the aforementioned Megan Thee Stallion in her “Body” video, during which, despite the spartan backdrops and non-narrative, she was able to at least bring back memorable choreography, in addition to providing her viewers with cameos galore throughout the video. In fact, it seemed Megan was pulling inspiration from more artful videos of the late 90s and early 00s, including Hype Williams’ “What’s It Gonna Be?!” by Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson.
The trend in, let’s say, “lackluster” video concepts that have no narrative, but rely, instead, only on a lot of changing “looks” to distract the audience from no “there” being there has likely been compounded by both the pandemic and social media. It was during the former that musicians were forced to scale way back in terms of resources that could create grandiose concepts (see: Charli XCX’s “Claws” video). And perhaps seeing that one didn’t really need to keep bothering with much in the way of bombast (why not save budgets for something else?) since people’s expectations had already been so lowered, the necessity gave way to becoming increasingly the norm.
As for social media’s influence, the fact that the masses have been able to contribute to the everyman aesthetic of banality over the years—reaching an apex with TikTok videos—has surely played some part in trickling back into the mainstream. Although Cardi could have delivered a much more elaborate music video (e.g., some kind of riff on Miami Vice or Scarface), she chose to keep it simple, relying, as is the stripper’s way, on her body to be the main attraction.
The result is a music video that’s indistinguishable from most others (whether from Cardi B herself or any of her contemporaries), as viewers are made to keep forgetting what the pinnacle of the art form was ever like before this period of low budgets and laziness (at least storyline-wise). Gone are the days of “telling a tale” à la Britney Spears’ “Lucky” video. And when any attempt at story is made, it simply takes from some already well-known pop culture reference (as is the case with Ariana Grande’s “we can’t be friends [wait for your love]” video). Something Cardi B didn’t even feel obliged to do with this particular single.
After a week full of 60+ degree weather in New York, I’m officially read to slam the laptop shut and enter the weekend. I’m bathing suit shopping online, I’m spending time basking in the short-lived early spring weather, and I’m absolutely gearing up to make another playlist to get through the weekend.
Since this weekend is St. Patrick’s Day, I’m sure many of you are traveling to hotspots like Boston and New York for parades and soul-crushing crowds. The only way to get through this weekend of horrors? Lots of music, and even more green beer. Doctor’s orders.
But, you can’t keep replaying your same old playlist with songs your friends have heard come over your speakers time and time again. People will stop letting you get aux if you can’t deliver a dance-worthy playlist that’s both refreshing and timeless. That’s where I come in, dear reader.
I love to deliver a playlist filled with new music releases today, March 15, 2024. So get your Spotify accounts ready, because it’s time to see what’s in store for this week! Let’s get listening.
ZAYN- “What I Am”
He’s baaaacckkk. Former member of One Direction, Zayn Malik, left the band (and should be paying my therapy bills for this) in 2015 and completely switched direction (pun intended). Now an R&B soul god, ZAYN has found his stride with “What I Am.”
“I think just being where I was at that time, staying away from things and living with my own thoughts inspired me to want to write something from that place. I’ve got to put this out as a whole body of work, it’s something for myself, not even just for the world,” says Zayn.
I worried at first that ZAYN wouldn’t be able to create a stylistically different track without sounding repetitive. “What I Am” highlights his vocals without going overboard, conveys yearning, longing, and melancholy all in one. It’s an easy listen. Zayn Malik, you’ll always be famous.
Cardi B- “Enough (Miami)”
If you’ve been missing Old Cardi, she’s here. With “Enough (Miami)”, Cardi goes back to her roots: classic rap, biting lyrics, a hook that gets you out of your seat. It’s reminiscent of classics like “Bodak Yellow”, where Cardi tells it as it is: you can’t beat her, you can’t even be her.
Kacey Musgraves- “The Architect”
With one of the most satisfyingly crisp voices in country music, Kacey Musgraves delivers “The Architect” on a silver platter. It’s introspective, beckoning the listener to really look inside themselves and wonder who’s the architect of their lives. A song about not fully understanding someone, something, or everything, “The Architect” is one-of-a-kind.
Ahead of her new album, Deeper Well, which she promises to be a “cleanse” of sorts for listeners, “The Architect” is a great intro.
Zack Bia, Teezo Touchdown- “DAMN”
Any weekend should be met with house music, which is why Zack Bia and Teezo Touchdown’s “DAMN” is a perfect fit. Something light and easy, “DAMN” is the perfect track to lead off a night out, or to help you get hyped up while getting ready. Zack Bia is known for his commitment to the nightlife scene, so it’s no surprise that this track embodies a night out with your friends.
Sydney Sherrill- “Boy In The Blue Cadillac”
Alongside her debut album, 17 Young and Stunning, Sydney Sherrill releases vocal powerhouse single, “Boy In The Blue Cadillac.” Few singer-songwriters can belt out a commanding chorus riddled with guitar trills and have such an impact as Sydney Sherrill does.
Singing from the perspective of her 17-year-old self, 17 Young and Stunning, takes us through the throes of adolescence. From finding your first love to figuring out who you really are in the world, Sherrill knows how confusing growing up can be. “Boy In The Blue Cadillac” sends you back in time in the best way.
Cloonee- “Sippin’ Yak (We Like)”
Cloonee is in high demand: with both weekends of Coachella booked, a headline LIV Beach Las Vegas residency, a show at the Brooklyn Mirage, and more, fans flock to see a performance no matter where he is. After teasing “Sippin’ Yak” on socials and in live sets, Cloonee is finally releasing the track ahead of all of these major performances.
“Sippin’ Yak (We Like)” is an instant hit for fans of tech house with an intricate eye for production and style.
If there’s any woman in rap you can count on to deliver a noteworthy style moment, it’s Cardi B. Only five years ago, the 31-year-old made her hip-hop debut with “Invasion of Privacy.” Still, she has quickly dominated the industry, easily becoming one of today’s most successful female rappers. The Grammy-winning album also featured the hit “Bodak Yellow,” which revealed her affinity for Christian Louboutin heels, thereby setting the tone for her entrance into fashion. Since then, Cardi B has broken many barriers in the industry, including becoming the first female rapper to cover Vogue.
Thanks to stylist Kollin Carter, Cardi B’s imprint on fashion is second to none in her genre. Since their partnership started in 2017, the New York-born rapper has produced many groundbreaking looks, including the vintage Mugler crinoline sheath she wore for the 2019 Grammys, marking only the second time in 25 years that the prestigious fashion house opened its archives for a celebrity. She appeared in other jaw-dropping ensembles from the designer, most notably the red feathered dress sourced from the 1995 archives for a Mugler party in 2021. Even more recently, she stunned at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars Party in a ruched Robert Wun dress.
Apart from her red carpet supremacy, the “Bongos” artist‘s street style does not disappoint. She’s become a Fashion Week staple, conquering Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in multiple statement pieces, from a velvet Schiaparelli lace-up gown to a tweed Thom Browne skirt suit. Cardi B rocks the catsuit trend every chance she gets, including a mint Radiant by KOS piece for Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash and a Tom Ford fishnet bodysuit during Miami Art Basel. She’s also embraced the academia trend in a white button-down shirt layered under a knit vest, styled with a plaid pleated skirt and the viral new UGG boots for the brand’s Feel House Party.
Keep scrolling for Cardi B’s most memorable street style moments and impressive style evolution.
If you are tired of scrolling through Instagram story after Instagram story of happy couples and pictures of candlelit dinners and roses…same. Valentine’s Day, the day celebrating couples and relationships, can just feel like another reason to rub it in your face that you’re single. And while you may be hate-scrolling through socials today, I beg you to log out of Instagram and into Spotify.
My favorite breakup playlists are ones you can cry and scream to, but you leave feeling better after the songs are done. That’s why I’ve curated a complete playlist filled with songs that I tirelessly listen to (even when I’m not feeling heartbroken). Breakup anthems can be therapeutic confidence boosters, great to uplift you at any moment.
So, if you don’t have date plans tonight or just want to hear some great breakup bangers…let’s get listening!
“You’re So Vain” – Carly Simon
Carly Simon was the blueprint for Taylor Swift in terms of writing insanely witty breakup songs. Hailed as one of the most iconic songs for singles of all time, you’ve heard Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey duet this in How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. It’s a song about many men in Simon’s life who have hurt her, but she taunts them with “you’re so vain, you probably think this song is about you,”
So turn the volume up and scream along with Carly about the narcissists in your life. It’s a timeless classic to start the best breakup playlist of all time.
“Karma” – Mod SunÂ
“I hope you choke on every lie you said to me/ I hope you move out of this city suddenly,” starts Mod Sun’s iconic breakup anthem. Written about none other than influencer Tana Mongeau, this upbeat, angry rock song summarizes that anger you feel towards an ex who did you dirty.
Unfortunately, I’ve spent too many hours screaming this song at the top of my lungs in my car. It’ll get you up and moving, and I guarantee it’s a future staple on your playlist.
“Happier Than Ever” – Billie EilishÂ
Can’t have a breakup playlist with Billie’s ultimate breakup song. Billie and her brother Finneas are masters at creating and producing music (from their own homes), going even so far to have Billie screaming as the background vocals of the song. With lyrics like “I don’t talk shit about you on the internet” and “You ruined everything good/ Always said you were misunderstood”, you can’t deny it’s the perfect song to let your emotions out.
Almost two songs at once, “Happier Than Ever” starts slow and vintage. Billie’s voice flirts softly around the story of her breakup before delving into sheer anger. It’s perfect every time.
“Be Careful” – Cardi B
Despite her rocky relationship with Offset (I think they’re together right now, but who knows?), Cardi B actually makes a scathing rap dissing him after he cheated. It’s just burn after burn, bar after bar. So, if you want to hear Cardi really go off, listen to “Be Careful.”
“FU (feat. French Montana)” – Miley Cyrus
There are few artists who were as honest in their delivery and songwriting as Miley Cyrus during her Bangerz era. Which brings me to the next song on this playlist, “FU.” Yes, Miley Cyrus is angry, she’s actually fuming, basically telling everyone to F off.
If you want to just be mad at your ex, and don’t want to think about love or Valentine’s Day in any capacity- here’s your song. It’s a therapeutic scream session you didn’t know you needed.
“Josslyn” – Olivia O’BrienÂ
A song about being completely finished with a person you were dating because they’ve betrayed you, “Josslyn” has been one of my favorites forever. It’s brutally honest, it’s about none other than Logan Paul, and it’s repeat-worthy.
Olivia O’Brien is one of the most relatable songwriters, and her hit song “Josslyn” is a certified breakup banger. Detailing a situationship where the other person sleeps with another girl, O’Brien goes off. It’s the perfect song to dance to with your friends during Galentine’s.
“Hurts Like Hell (feat. Offset)” – Madison BeerÂ
An unlikely collaboration in Madison Beer and Offset actually works really well. “Hurts Like Hell” is my favorite song to play when getting ready for a night out. It’s punchy, with Madison taking us through a breakup where she wishes nothing but the worst for them.
A good song to feel empowered by being single, Madison Beer wants you to think of her and it hurt like hell. It’s a song laying out what you’d say to your ex if you had the chance…one that makes you realize all your self worth and that, maybe, it is their loss.
“Norman f****** Rockwell” – Lana Del Rey
Few songs can evoke such melancholy sorrow and emotion like this one. Lana Del Rey knows how to capture an emotion with her music, which is why “NFR” is such a masterpiece. One of the best breakup songs because it encapsulates her sadness and contempt with lyrics like “why wait for the best when I could have you?”
Recently viral on TikTok before UMG took their artist’s music down, “Norman f****** Rockwell” is one of Lana Del Rey’s best. Lamenting how all men do is let her down, Lana croons about a “god damn man child” and how, at the end of the day, this behavior is just how men are. I listen to this song once a day for clear skin.
After joining in for a feature on “new queen bee” (not) Reneé Rapp’s “Not My Fault,” some listeners might have been misled into thinking Megan Thee Stallion had gone soft. But her new pattern of single releases seems to be “hard, soft, hard,” if we’re going by “Cobra,” “Not My Fault” and, now, “Hiss.” The latter obviously being thematically in line with “Cobra” based on the title alone. And yet, the “snake” Megan Thee Stallion has in mind as inspiration for this song is one, Nicki Minaj. While some might have been foolish enough to believe that there was harmony between the two rappers after they collaborated on 2019’s hit of the summer, “Hot Girl Summer,” there is often a pattern with Nicki when it comes to alienating the female rappers who have come up after her. Especially the ones she’s willing to collaborate with at the outset of their careers. Once upon a time, that was Cardi B, who quickly turned from “friend” to foe after 2017’s “MotorSport.” A song that Cardi was added to later in the creation process, and that Minaj felt she should have been more grateful for.
By 2018, the two famously got into a scuffle at an event for New York Fashion Week, prompting Cardi to release a series of videos in the aftermath defending herself and more fully speaking on their beef with comments like, “You lie so much you can’t even keep up with lies.” It seems Megan Thee Stallion, who collaborated with Cardi one year after “Hot Girl Summer” on “WAP” (and then again on 2023’s “Bongos”), would tend to agree. Along with the many venomous (snake pun intended) outcries about how Minaj is both enabling and defending a sexual predator. Which brings us to the most scandalizing (for Nicki and beef-lovers alike) line of all from “Hiss”: “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.” A direct aim and hit at Nicki for her husband, Kenneth Petty, not registering as a sex offender upon moving to California in order to be with her. This deliberate failure on his part was considered a federal offense. Thus, he was sentenced with three years of probation and one year of house arrest. Plus a $55,000 fine that Minaj undoubtedly paid.
Thee Stallion’s shade-throwing might seem like a non sequitur to some, but hints of contention have been publicly brewing at least since Minaj’s 2023 single, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” on which she raps, “I don’t fuck with horses since Christopher Reeve.” Stallion, horses…you get it. To cinch the allusion, Minaj also added, “Dorito bitches mad that they not chose.” Megan, as it happens, has an endorsement deal with Doritos (and all the other Flamin’ Hot products in the Frito Lay stable). So, not exactly subtle. Thus, Megan meets that “subtlety” and raises it on “Hiss.” Which is why she comes for Minaj’s “okayness” with sex offenders (including her brother, Jelani Maraj). She makes no mention, however, of Minaj’s beef with her stemming from, per Minaj’s account, the time Megan told her to drink alcohol while pregnant and get an abortion so she could really have a good time. It seems Minaj sat on that for a while and decided it was wildly inappropriate, even if said in jest (and probably because Thee Stallion didn’t want her to have a sex offender’s baby…so, if you think about it, it was coming from an inherently good place). Hence, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” But Minaj didn’t seem to bargain for Megan Thee Stallion actually lying in wait (like a cobra) to pounce when the time was right. And oh, how it was right for poking the bear that is Minaj’s furor on social media once she gets started. But all of that attention she gave Megan only worked to the latter’s advantage, with the video for “Hiss” becoming the number one trending video on YouTube the day after its release. Having warned us that she’s the “Black Regina George,” Thee Stallion dropped the equivalent of every page (photocopied ad infinitum) in the Burn Book into the public space with this song and video.
Directed by Douglas Bernardt (who also did “Cobra”), the video opens on a snake’s egg hatching (just as the video for “Cobra” ended on the image of one hatching). And who else should be inside of it but Megan herself? As we see her float inside the amniotic fluid, Megan paints the picture, “I feel like Mariah Carey/Got these niggas so obsessed/My pussy so famous, might get managed by Kris Jenner next/He can’t move on, can’t let it go/He hooked nose full of that Tina Snow/And since niggas need Megan help to make money/Bitch, come be my ho.” Invoking Mariah’s name from the outset was already an immediate dig at Nicki, who famously had beef with Mariah during the filming of American Idol starting in 2012. Though, just two years before, the sparring duo came together for a remix of a Mariah song called “Up Out My Face.” Released even before Minaj’s debut album, Pink Friday, it established the fact that “Barbie” was rising to the top as fast as some of her current competitors are now. This includes Ice Spice, who is theoretically “Team Nicki” after collaborating on “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World” with her. Though she might find herself eventually in a war with Nicki too, if we’re to go by the pattern of Cardi and Megan, both of whom Nicki collab’d with at the beginning of their mainstream musical journeys as well. But back to Mariah, who is strategically mentioned by Megan as an allusion to another feud and to make a callback to Carey’s 2009 single, “Obsessed,” which took shots at Eminem (both in the song and its accompanying music video). A rapper who would appear alongside Nicki on Pink Friday with “Roman’s Revenge.” How…circular. At least when it comes to making correlations based on “Hiss.”
And Thee Stallion also wants the correlation to be made that she’s still talking about Nicki (by referencing “Hot Girl Summer”) during one of the final verses when she raps, “Ever since I claimed the summer, all you bitches want a season/Ask a ho why she don’t like me, bet she can’t give you a reason.” But if Minaj didn’t have one before, she certainly has one now…and will no doubt be using this as cannon fodder in the future. Not just for attacking her, but also her “known associates.” Namely, Drake. Who gets majorly trolled by Megan in the verse, “All these lil’ rap niggas so fraud [perhaps a nod to the Nicki/Drake song “No Frauds”]/Xanax be they hardest bars/These niggas hate on BBLs and be walkin’ ’round with the same scars…/Cosplay gangsters, fake-ass accents/Posted in another nigga hood like a bad bitch (where are you from?).” So, essentially, she came for most of the Young Money alumni (except Lil’ Wayne). As per usual, Thee Stallion also talks about how the more people speak negatively about her, the richer she’ll get. This was addressed on Traumazine’s “Her” with, “The more hoes hating, more money I’ma make/And the more niggas talk, more niggas want a taste.” On “Hiss,” it becomes, “Bottom line is I’m still rich” and “Every time I get mentioned, one of y’all bitch-ass niggas get twenty-four hours of attention.”
This includes Minaj, who is currently getting more than just twenty-four hours of it as she keeps going off on social media while Thee Stallion has let the work do all the talking. Though one imagines Minaj won’t wait too long to deliver a better rebuttal than the one she gave with, “Bad bitch, she like six foot/I call her Big Foot/ The bitch fell off, I said get up on your good foot.” And maybe part of Minaj’s response will also be to the Cardi-delivered line on “Bongos” that goes, “My BD is a Migo/Bitch, your BD is a zero.” Which, yes, could even be interpreted as a dig at Minaj’s baby daddy (turned husband) selection.
As for Thee Stallion, she concludes “Hiss” by strutting down a stark white catwalk with a pit of snakes slithering on either side. By now, though, she’s prepared to bite back with her own distinct venom. Though there are some very specific moments during the video when she channels the Minaj aesthetic while doing it. Particularly just before opening an Alice in Wonderland-type door into a hall of mirrors where she can say to one version of herself, “Y’all goofy-ass niggas look so dumb after y’all celebrate fake news/Usin’ my name for likes and views/I don’t give a fuck what y’all make trend/Bitch, I still win.” It seems that’s the case for this round of the biftek between the two rap powerhouses (because if anyone knows Minaj, this isn’t going to stop now). So maybe Thee Stallion might be the first to prove that imitation isn’t the sincerest form of flattery…not when the person doing it also happens to be dragging your name through the mud in the process.
If there’s one thing we can always count on Cardi B for, it’s her unfiltered honesty.

The rapper took to social media over the holiday weekend to discuss the status of her relationship with her estranged husband, Offset.
The couple previously made headlines for playing gigs at the same Miami hotel on New Year’s Eve amid their separation.
While a lot of fans were waiting to see what drama might unfold, the pair seemed to have a great time, with videos on social media showing them celebrating the new year together at a strip club.
Following the clips of their night together, Cardi took to a Space on X–the social media platform previously known as Twitter–to let her followers know what really happened that night.
“Was I clubbing with my baby daddy? Yes. Did I get d***ed down on New Year’s Eve? Yes. I needed d**k on New Year’s Eve,” the “WAP” rapper candidly told her fans.
She continued, “I feel like we were vibing on New Year’s Eve, we had a good time.”
Unfortunately for any fans rooting for a reconciliation, Cardi insists that their New Years Eve rendezvous isn’t a sign of what’s to come for their marriage. She claims they’re not back together. They are, however, working on their issues and going to therapy.
The former Love & Hip Hop star did the same rumor control after spending Christmas with Offset, subtly letting everyone know their willingness to be cordial for their kids doesn’t mean they’re getting back together.
A viral tweet claimed “Cardi B has officially took Offset back after 12 days.”
In response, a fan attached a clip of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss telling her co-star Porsha Williams, “You just made that up.”
The “Be Careful” rapper “liked” the video response, essentially confirming the original tweet was incorrect.

It’s no surprise that the mom of two celebrated Christmas with her family, including her soon-to-be ex. However, internet instigators are running wild with claims that Cardi “took Offset back.”
Weeks after Cardi revealed she’s “been single for a minute,” fans made headlines saying they spotted the estranged couple in public. As BOSSIP previously reported, Cardi seemingly confirmed that wasn’t true by liking a response saying, “You just made that up!”
Following another fan similarly sharing that they caught selfies with Cardi and Offset together, the “W.A.P.” record snapped. Cardi took to Spaces on X (formerly Twitter) to tell her so-called supporters to “shut the f**k up!”
“I’m about to delete my whole social media because y’all don’t shut the f**k up! And it’s my own f**king fanbase,” she yelled, adding that she doesn’t “see nobody talking s**t but my own f**king fanbase!”

It’s bad enough that Cardi’s going through a public divorce, and now she’s demanding the fans she follows stop putting these rumors on her timeline. The “Bongos” rapper sounded disgusted and disappointed.
“Y’all heard something out of my mouth? Did y’all hear that I’m back with a n***a out my mouth? No! S**t is f**king annoying! For f**king three days, y’all been doing the same s**t!” Cardi said on Friday.
“Did I say I was back together with somebody? Did I say that?” she asked. “Did he say it? No!”
After Cardi’s fans pushed her to her breaking point with all the speculation, they accused her of doing too much. Considering this is her real life and how vulnerable she’s been about the nasty breakup, Cardi is doing just enough.

As followers complained about Cardi’s reaction, she went toe-to-toe with them on the timeline. The multi-platinum star clearly had time, and as we all know, if you have beef with Cardi, you have beef FOREVER!
She deleted some of her clapbacks but later posted that she regretted nothing about cursing them out.
“I must be a lil toxic cuz I enjoyed cursing ya out today… but we not taking that into 2024. Now have a good day. No make it a bad day!” she wrote.
The Grammy winner admitted she struggled to even reveal the shocking split, only to see rumors and jokes about her marriage. Hopefully, Cardi can start the new year with some peace, even if that does require a break from social media.
Social media is ABLAZE over Cardi B going OFF on Offset on IG Live a day after the Migos rapper celebrated his 32nd birthday at “Club Offset” in Miami.
The big blowup comes just days after Cardi confirmed that she’s single amid months-long rumors of a split between her and Offset.

While she didn’t provide any further details, she did express optimism about her “new beginning.”
Fast-forward to earlier today where the “WAP” rapper blasted her estranged husband online despite him celebrating a birthday.
In the first of a few viral moments, she tagged Offset directly in a tweet, writing, “you a b***h a** n***** …and trust me imma f***in’ take it there!”
She went on to write in another post, “Muf****s will try you when you at ya lowest and your most vulnerable time.. you out here feeling yourself but trust me the tables turn.”
She also took to Instagram Live where she lashed out at Offset while audibly upset, saying, “you’ve really been doing me dirty after so many f***ing years that I motherf***ing helped your a**.”

Cardi didn’t provide any further context for her tweets or comments on Live so it’s not exactly clear why she’s upset with Offset or why she chose his birthday to drag him.
According to some circles across Twitter X, she went off after seeing a woman named Jade (who Offset allegedly creeped with) at what appeared to be her estranged husband’s party.
Naturally, social media exploded with reactions to Cardi’s blowup with the Barbz claiming she’s only doing this for attention following the release of her arch rival Nicki Minaj‘s new album Pink Friday 2.

The father of five was the main attraction at D’USSE Cognac’s Art Basel party in Miami Friday night. He hit the stage to entertain the guests. Standing in the front row to cheer him on was his beautiful mother, Latabia Woodward.
Offset also took the time to celebrate his upcoming 32nd birthday on Dec, 14. While he, his mom, friends and guests partied, one special person was missing in action, his wife, Cardi B.
On Monday, breakup rumors circulated after fans online noticed the love birds unfollowed each other on Instagram along with cryptic social media messages.
As BOSSIP previously reported, Cardi B took to her Instagram story to write, “You know when you just outgrow relationships. I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”
Her husband responded to her sentiments by sharing a clip of Al Pacino’s “Scarface” character shouting, “Hey, f**k you, man! Who put this thing together? Me! Who do I trust? Me!” on his Story.
The next day Cardi went back to Instagram, this time hoping on live expressing her desire to lose “dead weight” before the new year commences.
“Don’t wait until the 25th or like three days before the new year,” she advised. “We keep saying every year, ‘New year, new me, new this, new that.’ B***h, I’m taking that s**t to the f**king heart!”
She continued, “You gotta rid of dead weight and when it comes to dead weight, I’ll say mentality, procrastination, laziness and people.”
When it comes to staying booked and busy, even Cardi and Offset’s babies are pulling their weight.
