  • Cardi B Calls BIA A ‘P***y’ For Conveniently Copping Preggo Pleas, Claims BIA Sabotaged Offset Marriage During Pregnancy With Blossom

    [ad_1]

The girls are STILL fighting! Cardi B called BIA a “p***y” for copping pleas about beefing during her pregnancy now, but allegedly spreading cheating accusations to Offset’s friend when Bardi was “five months pregnant with Blossom last year.”

    Source: Prince Williams/ANGELA WEISS

BIA pulled a J. Cole and waved the white flag as Cardi B’s never-ending feud with Nicki Minaj and rappers who backed up Barbie exploded again last week. While the embattled rap divas traded insults about each other’s parenting skills, the Boston rapper realized she’s not on that type of time. While promoting the Oct. 10 release of Bianca on Hot97, BIA denied dedicating her debut album to coming for Cardi.

She threw shade at Cardi’s (and Pardi’s) pen, but told Nessa she didn’t want to compete with Cardi unless they’re getting in the booth together. If you say so, sis!

“Why would I? I don’t care about anybody that much to get up and dedicate my life to like, ‘Oh, let me get at her.’ Like, no way, bro, that’s crazy,” the “Whole Lotta Money” mami said.

“It’s like a little beneath me because that was a year ago for me,” BIA added about continuing the feud after another diss by Cardi.”So now this album was coming out on Oct. 10 either way, whether she dissed me or not.”

On “Pretty & Petty,” Cardi didn’t hold back on “diarrhea BIA” about everything from her body to her relevance. Still, BIA said she charged it to the game rather than taking it personally.

“I was like, ‘Well, I’m glad she felt like she’d get that off.’ I knew it was coming because this is rap. I’m competitive so, like, I diss you, you diss me … It’s part of the game,” she explained.

BIA didn’t let up on the copycat claims about Really Her and Cardi B’s “Enough,” but she welcomed a creative challenge rather than continuing to beef with an expecting mother.

“I can go get on your a** again, but it’s like, girl, enjoy your pregnancy. My mother didn’t raise me to be dragging a pregnant lady. That’s out,” she continued.

BIA may have conveniently moved on, but Cardi pulled up to call her out for copping pleas. Check out Cardi B putting BIA on blast for messing with her marriage to Offset after the flip!

Cardi B Reenters The Chat, Drags BIA For Cowardly Comeback After Losing Their Beef: “You Can’t F**k With Me!”

In the latest chapter of Cardi B vs. everybody, Vibe reports she took to X (formerly Twitter) Spaces to set the record straight. The “Louder” star may claim she’s taking the high road, but Bardi is still ready to take it to hell.

“Last year, everybody was laughing, making fun, hyping b***hes up. Now that I’m talking my s**t, I’m a bully? Nah, I ain’t no f**king bully. I’m just not a p***sy!” Cardi claimed.

“It’s like b***h, I done told you before. You’re not interesting enough for me to look at you. You’re not creative, your music is boring, everything about you is boring. I don’t care nothing about you,” Cardi clapped back. “You wanted a rap beef and you lost. Every single time these b***hes be losing, they delete they f**king wack a** diss records. You can’t f**k with me. I’m a real artist, for real.”

Cardi Says Beefing With A Pregnant Woman Couldn’t Be “Beneath” BIA Because She Allegedly Messed With Her Marriage To Offset During Cardi’s Pregnancy With Blossom

Cardi also accused BIA of throwing rocks about cheating allegations after they squashed the beef, and now hiding her hands.

“This girl is going to tell a very popular producer, [who’s] cool with my ex, that I was cheating on him. I was like, ‘What?! Never, never, never!’ And it’s not Stefon [Diggs] because I have proof of when I started to Stefon,” Cardi explained.

The soon-to-be mom of four asked the producer directly and said he confirmed that BIA spread this rumor about an affair with a gang member. Cardi said this was a dead giveaway as BS because “hood n***as” and gang members excite people who “are not from the hood” like BIA. However, she says that’s not her type.

The “Bodega Baddie” also shut down BIA’s claims that she has too much home training to beef with a pregnant woman. The record-breaking rapper said BIA was “goingggg around saying I stepped outside of my marriage when I was five months pregnant with Blossom last year.” Is it “Oochie Wally” or “One Mic?”

Welp, it looks like Cardi is still very much the drama, and her memory is as long as her bundles when it’s time to fact-check.

Do you think the feud between Cardi B and BIA is really over or will one of the baddies spin the block on their beef again?

  • Stefon Diggs Sued By Ex Mulan Hernandez For Allegedly Assaulting And Attempting To Silence Her

    [ad_1]

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is being sued by his ex-girlfriend.

Source: Adam Glanzman / Aaron J. Thornton

Diggs’ ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez of Basketball Wives Orlando fame, has filed a lawsuit against the NFL star for allegedly assaulting her and later attempting to silence her.

The former reality star filed a countersuit against Diggs in April after he initially accused Hernandez of assault in a separate lawsuit back in February. According to reports from Page Six, Mulan denied the baller’s allegations in her filing, claiming that he was actually the one who was physically aggressive during their brief relationship in 2024.

Hernandez claimed Diggs attacked her from behind and punched the back of her head on June 7, 2024. She says the alleged incident left her with a concussion before claiming that Diggs then “mounted an effort to induce [her] into signing a non-disclosure agreement so that [his] malicious and egregious act would be kept from the NFL and from public view.”

According to the suit, the Patriots star allegedly acted “frantically,” sending his assistant to Houston to convince his ex to sign the NDA. It doesn’t seem like she signed the agreement.

In her filing, Hernandez requested a minimum of $250,000 and up to $1 million for damages she received from her physical and mental pain, along with medical bills.

In his original lawsuit, Diggs sued Mulan and Brianna Mack, a third party, accusing them both of assault, emotional distress, trespass, conspiracy and extortion.

The wide receiver claimed he would allow the duo to stay at his apartment in Houston before recalling the morning of June 7, 2024, when he alleged that Hernandez assaulted him and threatened to destroy his apartment after a night of partying.

“Hernandez burst through the bathroom and into the gaming room, visibly intoxicated and upset. [Diggs] told Hernandez to leave, but she refused,” the filing read, per Page Six. “[Diggs] attempted to diffuse the situation by attempting to remove himself from Jones’ line of fire, but she continued to castigate him,” the lawsuit continued.

Diggs claims that Hernandez threw his video game console on the floor, damaged a $130,000 watch, and tossed his phone in the toilet. He went on to allege that his ex punched his chest several times and used a weapon to threaten him, noting that Mack was present during the altercation.

The baller claims Hernandez slipped on a wet floor, but denies fighting back, alleging that Hernandez went to the doctors that night after experiencing nausea and received medication. He also said that she went to the doctors on June 14, 2024, and “falsely” alleged that she was hit “in the back of the head with a closed fist.”

He added that Hernandez’s lawyer claimed she was living with Diggs and was more than one month pregnant with his child when the alleged assault occurred.

“In the weeks and months that followed, Hernandez and Mack both individually and with the assistance of counsel, tried to use their newly spun tale to extort millions of dollars from [Diggs],” the lawsuit stated. “[Diggs] brings this case because he will not be victimized by the attempts of defendants to extort money from him. It is defendants who are liable to [Diggs], not the other way around.”

Diggs is also facing a paternity suit from a woman named Aileen Lopera, claiming he is the father of her child, who was born in April. He responded to the petition in July, stating he wasn’t sure if he is the father.

Meanwhile, the Patriots player is expecting a child with his girlfriend, Cardi B. She is currently in the middle of divorce proceedings from her estranged husband, Offset, with whom she shares three kids.

  • Offset Finally Shuts Down Rumors He Slept With Saweetie, Says His Slippery Split From Quavo Was ‘Deeper Than That’

    [ad_1]

Offset is finally responding to rumors that he slept with fellow Migos member Quavo’s ex-girlfriend, Saweetie.

    Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty

The “Ric Flair Drip” rapper recently talked to Keke Palmer on her podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, where he opened up about the turmoil between him and Quavo. One of the rumors that’s followed him for years is that he allegedly slept with Saweetie, a situation fans suspected led to the dissolution of the Migos.

However, when he was asked about the Saweetie rumors, Offset immediately shut it down.

“No, man. It was a rumor, man,” he said, going on to explain that there was much more to the story when it comes to his fallout with Quavo.

“I feel like it was something deeper than that for the split of me and bro,” he continued. “I think people were trying to tear my situation down in that situation.”

That’s when Keke suggested that business people may have been behind the scenes, trying to keep them from being strong together, and Offset agreed.

“The lengths that people go in our industry to enmesh themselves in your personal life to get certain outcomes in business, their lengths are great,” he said.

Cardi B spoke on the long-running rumors back in 2023, when she and Offset were still together.

“I was quiet because one thing I’m gonna do, I’m gonna find out the truth,” she said during an appearance on The Jason Lee Show, per VIBE. “You know I was finding out that truth in and out. So if I entertain something that I know is not true on the internet, people be like, ‘Oh, it is true, because you’re addressing it.’ But when I don’t address it, it’s true as well.”

More recently, while promoting her album, Cardi talked multiple times about a woman who gave her flowers, and she later found out the same woman slept with her man.

“There’s girls that really will be in your DM, will really try to be your friend, will really try to come into your world, will really try to do weird things like befriend your friends,” the “Magnet” rapper explained during her appearance on The Breakfast Club.

She went on to talk about a woman with whom she’d worked out a disagreement, explaining that once they got to the root of their issue, the woman offered her a gift.

“They gave me flowers,” she said. “Literally flowers…Then, months later, I found out you f***ed this n*****. Stuff like that be weird to me.”

While Cardi didn’t name names, many fans assumed she was talking about Saweetie, given the longstanding rumors. But, according to Offset, that’s not the case.

  • Feud Finally Finished? Cardi Claims Nicki Minaj Beef Is ‘Past Words’ Before Saying She’s Moving On–‘YOU NEED TO GET HELP!’

    [ad_1]

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are still going at it on X, but at least one of them is ready to move on.

    Source: Prince Williams / WWD

Another exchange between the New York rappers saw both sides throwing personal jabs at each other and their respective children, which led to threats to escalate things to a physical confrontation. Nicki repeatedly referred to Cardi’s kids as “monkeys” and repeatedly spoke directly to the “Outside” rapper’s eldest daughter, 8-year-old Kulture.

“Dear Kulture VULTURE, Your mom is pregnant with another monkey to add to her litter,” Minaj wrote on Wednesday, Oct. 1. “The gag is that she was jealous of a little baby boy simply because his hair was longer than all 4 of you bald monkeys put together.”

“SHRUMP SAYS face ahh,” she continued in a separate tweet. “Ima kick your gums back into formation.”

Nicki’s repeated mention of Cardi’s kids clearly struck a chord, leading to some seriously lengthy responses in tweet form.

“Here you go starting again nice and early you sick pathetic loser ass demonic insane b***h,” Cardi began on Wednesday. “I said it back in 2018 and nobody believed me that you been talkin about my child since I was pregnant.. you BEEN jealous of my child.. I had never mentioned or talked about your f**kin kid!!! its one thing to be jealous of me but to be jealous of my kids is insane.. you’re jealous of my kids because they beautiful and f**kin smart and that’s why god punished you with having a slow ass kid.. you hate your child because you wish you could brag on him and his milestones but the only thing you can brag on is hair you f**kin dummy.”

That’s when Belcalis began physical threats, asking about Nicki’s location and insisting she would go to jail over her comments about Kulture.

“You said you gonna kick my child gums back??? Didn’t you say you was in NY???” she asked. “This past words now.. WHERE TF YOU AT??? Cuz today gonna be the day I go to jail.”

In what Cardi claims is her “last time” responding to Nicki, she urges the rapper to go to therapy and claims she must have a lot of trauma from her childhood. She went on to say that the rest of their issues will be handled in person, as she’s not willing to lose her career over “going back and forth wit words wit a possessed drug addict.”

“Dear Onika Tanya Maraj, This my last time responding to you because this past Twitter now.. I gotta see you… but first ima tell you truth,” Cardi began. “You said out your own mouth that the lil girl in you haven’t forgave your mother yet and that’s because your mom used to stay silent when your dad used to touch on you everytime he did that crack pipe… I know you experienced a lot of trauma and abuse but drugs is not gonna help you.. you need to go to therapy NOW… ima let you know this today.. your husband is not stoppin you from your actions because he lets you do drugs all day to numb you so he can max out your credit card… yea you think I don’t know??”

    She continued,

“YOU NEED TO GET HELP!! You need to heal that trauma.. you always coming at people everytime you see them happy because you got so much trauma and pain that you wanna put on others.. your fans are gonna gas you up while you literally lose your god damn mind…. You don’t have no friends.. no family.. just that man in your house that let you do drugs til you pass out so he can spend your money and buy the hood chains.. I’m not throwing away my career and my endorsements going back and forth with wit words wit a possessed drug addict.. ILL SEE YOU WHEN I SEE YOU.”

As previously reported, the two first reignited their beef on Monday when Nicki took aim at Cardi and her new album, Am I The Drama?, seemingly mocking it, first by simply writing “$4.99,” seemingly referencing the promotional iTunes price of Cardi’s project.

    She also threw shots at Cardi’s pregnancy while parodying the lyrics of Cardi’s new song, “Magnet,” tweeting;

“Abcdefgeeeee / Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyyy / RUNNING TRAINS,” Minaj wrote. “Barefoot, still smellyyyyy / Still. You. Could. Not. outsell. meeeeee.”

Nicki went on to continue her previous narrative about Roc Nation and Jay-Z being involved in illegal activities, connecting those dots to Cardi’s album sales.

“Abcdefgeeeee SUR GER REE TO LOOK LIKE ME, ” she began. “Tell the rat & tell j ZEEEE RICO FRAUD & PERJURY.”

On Tuesday, while things seemed to slow down between the two, Nicki responded to Cardi’s accusations that she had to see fertility doctors in order to have a child because of the “percs [Percocets] scrambling” her eggs.

An incensed Nicki Minaj then clapped back, alleging that she would be taking legal action against Cardi for he fertility tweet. She also mentioned her foe, Roc Nation’s Desiree Perez, in her tweet that included the Pinkprint rapper calling Cardi “Barney B.”

“Is I’m da Barney B AND the FLOP?” wrote Nicki. “Is I’m lying about fertility when the Queen has never once seen or spoken to a fertility doctor In her life?”Is I’m the one sleeping with trade while hubby f***n sweetie & taking my big gewy hole for alimony? Is I’m going to be sued when the Queen show her medical records to the courts?

Oh ROC BOTTOM NATION WE WIN AGAIN. Desiree I have your medical records too. :). the lawyers said we gon have Barney b homeless within 36 months. Praise God. lucky we eating cake right now,” Minaj wrote. In a follow-up, she continued:

“Barney B, I know you don’t know this, but SOME women PLAN their pregnancies you dirty HEINEKEN p***y twat. We don’t let niggaz fuk us while we pregnant for the next trade who got 4 other ppl pregnant. You see? The devil has come to collect. You sold your soul. You made a pact. But you lost. Now hear this: you have been neutralized in the mighty name of Jesus. Every word you speak on Me or mine will now curse your enablers more than your dizzy brain could ever fathom.”

  • International Tings! Cardi B, Tyla, Shakira, Arya Starr & More Take Over Global Citizen Festival

    [ad_1]

    Source: Taylor Hill

The annual Global Citizen Festival made its way to New York City’s famed Central Park this year and featured performances from Cardi B, Tyla, Shakira, Mariah The Scientist and many more.

Though a late addition to the festival’s lineup, Cardi B took on a huge task of delivering a high-energy performance while very pregnant. The Bronx rapper popped up onstage to perform some of her biggest hits as well as tracks from her latest release, Am I The Drama?, much to the audience’s delight.

It’s no secret that Cardi is willing to put in that work even when she’s expecting as she carried out the entire rollout of her first album, Invasion of Privacy, while pregnant with her first daughter Kulture. She also made several appearances while pregnant with her son Wave and has no problem reminding everyone that she can still move that bawdy with a little bump.

Big Bardi wasn’t the only baddie to step out in the name of a good cause. South African starlet Tyla also hit the stage to treat fans to her international style and Afrobeats hits. The global superstar shared a story about how her life changed drastically since the first time she attended the festival when it happened in her home country of South Africa in honor of Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday.

“It’s actually crazy that I’m performing here,” she said. “The first time I came to Global Citizen was when they came to South Africa. And I’m telling you it was a bargain. All I did was fill in a survey and I saw Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Pharrell. I saw Usher’s butt-crack in 3D, I’m telling you. And the fact that I’m on this stage is amazing.”

The petite baddie also made sure to check in on a fan who seemed to be in an emergency situation during her performance. The “Water” singer stopped the show until getting the green light that everyone was, in fact, ok. We love a caring queen!

Mariah The Scientist also took the stage on the evening to perform and was decked out in her GI Jane regalia from the cover of her latest album Hearts Sold Separately.

Fans were treated to a bevy of her hits including “Burning Blue” and, of course, she brought the sexy with a barely there short. It seems that her star is continuing to rise despite her allegiance to her chatty partner, Young Thug.

Colombia’s crown jewel, Shakira, was the headliner on the night bringing her crossover appeal to the Big Apple. Long before international artists were truly given airspace on American radio, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer rose to fame. She collaborated with the likes of Beyoncé, Wyclef Jean and more while always keep herself firmly planted in her Colombian roots. In a city like New York and in a crucial time for immigration and foreign relations, Shakira was the perfect choice to show a united front in the face of division.

Other performers on the night included African artists Arya Starr and Rema as well as Rosé of the K-Pop group Blackpink. Check out the entire show below:

  • Houston Concert Watch 9/24: Jimmie Vaughan, Whiskey Myers and More

    [ad_1]

We music geeks are, by and large, completists. Record companies know this, which is why, even in an era when physical media is becoming a thing of the past, they keep releasing “deluxe,” “expanded” or “complete” editions of classic rock albums.

The formula is generally this.  Remix the album in question, add a disc or two of alternate versions of songs and maybe a few tunes that didn’t make the cut when the album was initially released, and find some live recordings (sometimes an entire concert) from the era. Throw in reproductions of ephemera (backstage passes, decals, maybe a poster) and perhaps a modest coffee table book, and you’ve got something that can be sold for a premium price. And that’s how you generate some cash flow from material that has already been bought and paid for.

Do I sound skeptical or, at the very least, cynical? Of course I do. I’m a music writer. Or maybe my attitude has to do with having bought bootlegs that promise “revelatory” alternate takes and mixes which, in point of fact, offer little more than slight variations on what was actually released. But, having said that, there are some box set behemoths that are slated for release within the next few months that are, in fact, worthy of consideration.

Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here 50th Anniversary Deluxe Box Set (2 CD / 4 LP / 1 Blu-Ray)
Jethro Tull – Still Living in the Past (5 CD / 1 Blu-Ray)
    Bruce Springsteen – Nebraska ’82 (4 CD / 1 Blu-Ray)
Little Feat – The Last Record Album (4 CD)
The Who – Who Are You? Super Deluxe Edition (7 CD / 1 Blu-Ray)
Jimi Hendrix – Axis Bold as Love (4 CD)
    The Beatles – Anthology 2025 (8 CD)

    Ticket Alert
Christmas music comes in all forms, so if your jam is of the singer-songwriter variety, you can load up the sleigh and head to the Heights Theater for Jack Ingram’s “Acoustic Holiday Tour.” Tickets for the Houston (Fine, Woodlands) native son’s show on Saturday, December 13, are on sale now.

Cardi B has a new album (Am I the Drama?) coming out, and she is taking the unusual step of appearing at Walmarts across the country to pimp it during the record’s rollout. The Houston Walmart stop took place yesterday, but don’t despair if you missed it, since Ms. B will be perform at Toyota Center on Wednesday, March 3. Presales are in progress, with the general sale set for Thursday. Hmm. Makes you wonder. Is a ZZ Top promotional tour at Buc-ee’s across Texas in the offing?

In the tradition of Prince, who for a time went by the moniker “The Artist Formerly Known as Prince,” Kanye West, who legally changed his name to “Ye,” and Sean Combs, who has been known as “Puffy,” “Puff Daddy,” “P. Diddy” and just “Diddy,” Machine Gun Kelly has decided that he will henceforth be known as MGK. OK. The musical chameleon will play the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Saturday, May 23, with Wiz Khalifa and Beauty School Dropout opening.  Tickets are on sale now.

    Concerts This Week
Granted, there aren’t many original Temps or Tops remaining, but you can’t argue with the catalogs that both acts assembled during the ‘60s and ‘70s. The Temptations: “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me),” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone.” The Four Tops: “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch),” “It’s The Same Old Song,” “Reach Out I’ll Be There.” If that list doesn’t get your head to bobbing, well, I don’t know what to tell you. Get your groove on tonight at the Smart Financial Centre.
Chance the Rapper is not your typical rap artist. Gospel and jazz influences pop up in his work, and his lyrics have dealt with subjects not usually addressed in rap, such as Christian theology. Chance will perform on Friday at the Bayou Music Center, and you can find out more by taking a look at this Houston Press interview.
There are two shows of note this week at the Mucky Duck. On Friday, blues / Americana artist Seth Walker will be in town to showcase tunes from his most recent album Why the Worry. Then on Saturday, the West Texas Exiles will celebrate the release of their new record 8000 Days with early and late shows. For more on the Exiles, check out this week’s Houston Press interview with the band.. Tickets for all performances are in short supply, so getting while the getting is good would be the recommendation.
Charlie Wilson earned his bona fides as the lead singer of the Gap Band for the entirety of the group’s existence, 1967-2010. Wilson has also distinguished himself as a solo artist and a producer. On Friday, Wilson will bring “Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout” to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, presenting a bill that also includes venerable old-school artists Babyface and K-Ci (of Jodeci fame). Now, since this event is billed as a “cookout” and is designed to engender a “cookout” atmosphere, there will, I image, be a code of behavior that should be followed. This video might help those who have not yet been schooled. And this one, re: potato salad.
Whiskey Myers and its “What We Were Born to Do” tour rolls into the Pavilion on Saturday. This band, the pride of Palestine, TX, has a country twang but still rocks hard when the need arises. Dexter and the Moonrocks, purveyors of what they call “western space grunge,” and Landon Smith will open.
Jimmie Vaughan was, at one time, a wild-ass teenaged guitarist lighting it up with the Chessmen in the mid-‘60s and making a name for himself as one of the best players in Texas. After a few years, though, Vaughan looked to the past, refining his style and wholly embracing the blues. He formed the Fabulous Thunderbirds with Kim Wilson and recorded classic albums like What’s the Word? (1980) before departing the band to explore less commercial but more authentic musical pastures. Vaughan and his Tilt-a-Whirl band will play the Heights Theater on Sunday, conducting a master class in the blues, with Houston’s own rising star Mathias Lattin opening.

  • Hello, Bardi? This Is Shirley! Unbothered & Unserious Cardi B Seemingly Reacts To Stefon Diggs Paternity Suit

    [ad_1]

Cardi B‘s romantic life has a new chapter, and it’s full of questions regarding Stefon Diggs‘ paternity suits and legal filings. As the couple prepares to welcome their first child together, the NFL player is facing a lawsuit to determine if he is the father of a five-month-old daughter.

    Source: Elsa / Getty

As BOSSIP previously reported, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have had a very public relationship, with the couple going Instagram official just a few months ago. In Cardi’s comments, Stefon praised his pregnant girlfriend while publicly proclaiming that he’s “team boy” and thinking of Spanish names. Cardi also responded, praising Stefon for motivating her with his work ethic. Their public display of affection came just days after Cardi B announced her pregnancy, which will be her fourth child, and Diggs’ second.

However, shortly after the happy news, rumors began circulating that Diggs has other children. A video, which was obtained by TMZ, showed the NFL player leaving a hospital with a baby carrier, allegedly taken shortly after he confirmed his relationship with Cardi. The video sparked questions from fans and led to further speculation about the timeline of Diggs’ personal life.

Stefon Diggs’ Paternity: Two Babies, One Lawsuit

The speculation was quickly followed by a paternity lawsuit filed by model Aileen Lopera, also known as Lord Gisselle, who accused the NFL star of fathering her five-month-old daughter, Charliee, born in April 2025. According to legal documents obtained by Page Six, Lopera filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 30, seeking to establish Diggs as the legal father of her daughter. Lopera is requesting full legal and physical custody of the child, as well as an order for Diggs to cover all pregnancy and birth-related expenses and attorney fees.

In response, Stefon Diggs has requested a genetic test to confirm his paternity. Diggs has not commented publicly on the paternity suit, but in his filing, he acknowledged his uncertainty about his biological connection to the infant but stated that, “should paternity be established, he plans to pursue shared custody.” He is also asking that both he and Lopera be held responsible for parenting-related and legal expenses, according to Complex.

Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, told Page Six, “My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs finally meets, acknowledges, and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles”

While Diggs has remained quiet on the situation, Cardi B is taking the rumors in stride. In a video, which appears to be taken from an Instagram Live, the “Bodega Baddie” mocked the women expressing concern for her. “Hello Barbara? This is Shirley,” she says. “That’s your baby daddy, b***h? That’s my baby daddy, too. What now? I don’t f*****g know. We’ll figure it out, b***h.”

The paternity suit and the baby carrier video have certainly added a layer of complexity to Stefon Diggs’ personal life, but it seems Cardi B is unfazed by the drama.

  • Record Breaking Bardi! Cardi B Goes Platinum And Lands Guinness World Record For Strategic Marketing, Gets Big Gift From Stefon Diggs

    [ad_1]

Source: Claude Yao Sahi/Johnny Nunez / Getty

Cardi B is back and proving that she still has what it takes to move records and break them, too.

On Sept. 19, big Bardi put the music world on notice as she released her highly anticipated sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, seven years after the release of her Grammy-award winning offering, Invasion of Privacy. Thanks to her loyal fans and a strategic marketing plan—complete with a pregnancy announcement—Cardi’s album quickly shot up the charts and is already certified platinum. She also set a Guinness World Record for the most albums ever drone-delivered in an hour’s time, thanks to her partnership with Walmart.

The “Outside” rapper has taken it back to the streets for her marketing and has popped up everywhere from the corners in NY to the subway. Fans have lauded her commitment to promoting her latest release while expecting her fourth child and first with her NFL beau, Stefon Diggs. Cardi announced the baby news during a sit-down with Gayle King after months of speculation, but she put fans at ease by promising that she’ll be ready in time to start her “Little Miss Drama” tour on Feb. 11 next year.

She has not announced the gender or due date of their child; however, fans are guesstimating her delivery is coming before the year ends. Diggs was seen being a loving, supportive partner in the comments of her posts saying,

“Proud of you for staying focused”

The rapper made sure to send love back his way and thanked him for leading by example with his incredible work ethic.

“You work so hard, I’ll never complain again,” she said.

Like a good baller baby daddy, Stefon didn’t pull up to Cardi’s album release party empty-handed. He surprised the “Pretty & Petty” star with a massive bouquet of roses with life-size photos of her around the base. The display was so huge that it had to arrive on the back of a flat-bed truck

Cardi’s exciting return to music also includes reunions with Kehlani, Selena Gomez, Lizzo and Summer Walker, while Tyla and Cash Cobain also appear alongside a special Janet Jackson sample that raises the bar for albums still slated to release this year. She also takes the time to address her social media clashes with Bia and JT while opening up about her heartbreaking marriage and split from Migos rapper Offset.

  • Cardi B Is Back With a Vengeance on the Triumphant ‘Am I the Drama?’: Album Review

    [ad_1]

It’s one thing to be naturally as charismatic and magnetic as Cardi B — her testimony during last month’s assault lawsuit was as compulsively entertaining as any binge watch — yet it’s another to marry it to skill. It’s been eight years since the rapper left smoking stiletto prints in her wake with her titanic breakthrough single “Bodak Yellow,” and seven since she released her debut album “Invasion of Privacy.” That record was a mission statement, a flag-planting arrival that showed the breadth of her talent was more than just the sum of her reality TV and viral parts.

Cardi hasn’t exactly been out of the music game since then, releasing maintenance singles like “Enough (Miami)” and “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. But a sophomore album after this long can make or break a career, especially when it’s cloaked in this much hype. Cardi is more than up for the task with “Am I the Drama?,” an unflinching, raw and refined record that never loses its footing despite its robust runtime (23 tracks over 71 minutes). It’s an album that demands rapt attention as Cardi parses over the very public trials and tribulations she’s faced since her debut, inevitably emerging on the other side as one of the great rap records of 2025.

To start: Is Cardi the drama, or does the drama find her? It’s hard to tell who’s passing the buck on “Am I the Drama?,” yet she wastes no time confronting it. On album opener “Dead” featuring Summer Walker, she makes it clear that she’s not here to play: “I’m collecting body bags like they purses / I don’t even rap no more, I drive hearses.” She’s quick to check her rap foes and has both fanged and vulnerable moments while grappling with her split from Offset. There’s a lot of ground to cover since “Privacy,” and Cardi spends the album pointedly treading through it.

While “Privacy” was an album that somewhat kowtowed to pop crossover, “Am I the Drama?” skirts the big hooks and flashy beats and lands on something darker yet far from opaque. There’s immediacy and a momentum that propels it forward, rich with wordplay so clever and comedic that it could easily set the stage for a future in stand-up. She tries on different sounds and styles — “Bodega Baddie” is a merengue thumper, while “What’s Going On” featuring Lizzo bravely interpolates 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up” to workable results — yet she holds it all together with a commanding flow and unmatched charisma.

That charm can curdle if you’ve fallen out of Cardi’s good graces, and she appears to be taking swipes at JT and Ice Spice on “Magnet.” No one feels the sting more than Bia, a rapper with whom she’s sparred in the past. On “Pretty & Petty,” she leaves no stone unturned: “Name five Bia songs, gun pointin’ to your head,” she sneers, taking a pause. “Bow, I’m dead.” The one-liners keep on rolling. “Why you all in people’s face with that shitty mouth? / Diarrhea Bia, breath so stank you can smell her ‘fore you see her.”

Sure, rap beef makes for good entertainment, but Cardi is far from one-note (as we’ve repeatedly learned), and the album’s tracks concerning her divorce from Offset give it much-needed heft. “I’m sick of fighting, sick of crying, shit, it’s 4 a.m. / If you don’t answer this time, I’ll never call again,” she tells him on “Shower Tears.” On “Magnet,” she shouts out the “hoes that wear the pants like Kamala” who “got my baby daddy acting like my baby mama.” It isn’t all scorched earth, though: “Man of Your Word” is the album’s emotional centerpiece, lending Offset a bit of grace despite his infidelity. “Don’t know if I’m mad at me or you,” she states, reckoning over what went wrong and maturely wishing him the best.

Cardi tacks on two previously released singles, “Up” and “WAP,” likely as a streaming ploy to juice first-week numbers though they slot comfortably with the rest of the record. “Am I the Drama?” is stacked with features from a laundry list of artists, including Cash Cobain, Selena Gomez, Lourdiz and Janet Jackson on “Principal” (a misdirect, as it merely samples “The Pleasure Principle”). Yet Cardi is the central force of “Am I the Drama?,” an album that shrugs off the threat of a sophomore slump with fire and brimstone and, above all, heart.

Cardi is the rare pop culture presence whose braggadocio across “Am I the Drama?” feels justified — a reminder that even when the cards are stacked against her, she’ll always find a way to reclaim her throne.

  • Cardi B reflects on new music, her inspiration and motherhood journey

    [ad_1]

It’s been seven years since rapper Cardi B released her first album, which led to her historic Grammy win as the first solo female rapper to win best rap album.

Her new highly-anticipated album is called, “Am I the Drama?” It features several superstar collaborations, including a reunion with Selena Gomez.

“I just feel like she sounded really lovely for this song and she’s such a delight to work [with],” Cardi B said.

In the album, the rap star shows off her ability to cross many genres.

“I’m actually samplin’ a Dominican merengue song and a lotta people kept, like, sayin’ … do you have an ‘I Like It’ on the album?”

She identifies as Afro-Latina with her father being Dominican and her mother Trinidadian.

“I don’t necessarily have an ‘I Like It,’ or like, a Spanish record, but I have something that it gives Bronx drill, and it gives Dominican Republic and it’s mixed too, so I love that record.”

Promoting her album and rise to fame

Cardi B’s throwback approach to promoting her sophomore release in public with CDs in hand – has gone viral.

“What up, y’all? It’s your girl, Cardi B. We are out here selling my CDs,” she said while promoting her music.

The Grammy winner’s work ethic and drive is deeply rooted.

“I’m about to have four kids and every single day I wake up early in the morning. I go to sleep late at night promoting this album.”

She explained that her drive is inspired by her grandmothers.

“My grandma from my father’s side, she had 10 kids in a wooden house and after she gave birth to her kids, she would go back in a farm, make cheese, sell mangoes. My grandmother from my mom’s side, she had 13 kids, brought all of them one by one to America, cooking food, cleaning people’s houses,” Cardi B said. “So can you imagine … me telling one of my grandmas, ‘oh, I’m just so tired. That’s why I cannot go get some millions and raise my four kids or my three kids.’ They’d look at me, like, ‘girl, you can’t be serious.’”

When asked if she expected this level of fame as a child, she said everyone told her she would be famous one day.

“I just wanted to be an artist,” she said. “I have so many cousins, and my grandparents from both sides … told me … ‘you’re something else. You’re something else.’”

“As I got older in high school, I’m, like, ‘what am I meant to be? Because everybody say I’m gonna be famous one day, but what am … I meant to be?’”

Although she wasn’t always certain on her path, she’s happy with her career.

“It really be the littlest things. Like, ’cause … when people paint murals in my city, in my town of me, with my face, it’s … small to some people. Like ’cause I do so many big things, but … it means a lot to me.”

    Motherhood journey

Cardi B exclusively revealed in an interview that aired Wednesday on “CBS Mornings” that she is expecting her fourth child with boyfriend and NFL star Stefon Diggs.

She shares her first three children with rapper Offset, whom she filed for divorce from last year.

“I’m a fun mom … and it’s funny because they scared of me, and then they’re not.”

She explained her parenting style, saying she doesn’t feel the need to watch the language she uses around her children – who respond differently.

“I be cursin’, but it’s crazy. I curse, but my daughter will never repeat it. I have never heard her say a bad word. But my son … he does it. He does it. He kinda stopped, but sometimes.”

In her interview that aired on Wednesday, she told “CBS Mornings” she feels that she is in a “good space” as she balances motherhood with her new music.

“I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other,” she said.

“Am I The Drama?” is scheduled to be released on Sept. 19.

  • Cardi B reveals she’s expecting baby with Stefon Diggs, reflects on falling in love again in “CBS Mornings” interview

    [ad_1]

Cardi B is expecting her fourth child, the rapper exclusively announced Wednesday on “CBS Mornings.”

The Grammy winner revealed she is having a baby with her boyfriend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, confirming weeks of speculation about her personal life. She said the baby is due before the start of her first arena tour, “Little Miss Drama,” which begins in February.

The 32-year-old said she feels “excited” and “happy,” while preparing to release new music and balancing motherhood.

“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other,” she said.

Cardi B said she and Diggs share the same ambition, each determined to be “the greatest” in their fields. She also credited Diggs with giving her a sense of stability as she readies her next album, “Am I The Drama?,” which includes a track called “Safe.”

“And he just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” she said. “I mean, like, two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack. I was, like, crying and crying and crying, just because I was just getting really nervous with you know, the whole album rollout … People were coming at me very hard. You know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people was just saying very mean things about me.”

She admitted harsh criticism sometimes makes her question releasing music.

“And I’m like, see, this is why I don’t put music out, because it’s like, this is my art and this is something that I put a lotta love and time to. And it’s just like, sometimes, when people just rip it apart it just hurts you and it crushes you,” she said.

Through it all, Cardi B — whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar — said Diggs’ support keeps her steady.

“He makes me feel very confident. And it makes you feel like you could take over the world.”

She added that she waited to announce the pregnancy until she was able to “close some deals first.” She also admitted she has not yet told her parents, jokingly saying she is “scared of them.”

Cardi B, who shares three children with rapper Offset, said she was reluctant to fall in love again amid their high-profile divorce. But she recalled Diggs telling her: “Let me heal you. Give me a chance for me to heal you.”

Now that pregnancy rumors are confirmed, Cardi B used her world-famous humor to ask fans to purchase her new album: “Now y’all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told you. Now go support my album, cause I’m a mother of four now.”

Cardi B says her sophomore album feels “complete.”

“I feel like it touch every little thing that I want to touch. And I just feel like it’s something that is not out there right now.”

“Am I The Drama?” is scheduled to be released on Sept. 19. Watch more of King’s interview with Cardi B where the rapper gets candid about her recent trial, and her viral on-the-street album promotion on “CBS Mornings” on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7 a.m. ET.

  • Couture Cardi B & Mini-Me Daughter Kulture, Ciara, ‘Love Island’s’ Nic & Olandria & More Slay New York Fashion Week

    [ad_1]

The 2026 New York Fashion Week season has begun, providing a trail of high-fashion moments, celebrity sightings, and major runway statements. There have been powerful showcases of creativity, and among the most talked-about moments were a mother-daughter duo stealing the spotlight and the triumphant return of a major international brand.

    Source: Dominik Bindl / Getty

Cardi B, a formidable force in both music and high fashion, made a major splash at the Alexander Wang show with her seven-year-old daughter, Kulture. The pair turned heads with their coordinated fur ensembles, solidifying Cardi’s status as a fashion icon who’s passing the torch to the next generation. For the show, Cardi wore a lavish brown fur coat with knee-high, heeled boots, while Kulture was her “mini-me” in a matching fur skirt and a black shirt.

Cardi B’s appearance comes at a significant time in her personal and professional life. The rapper has spent the last few weeks promoting her highly anticipated second album, “Am I The Drama?,” which is set to officially drop next week on September 19. Her appearance at the Alexander Wang show, with her mini-me in tow, is the perfect addition to the album rollout. The Alexander Wang show was a star-studded affair, with a truly eclectic mix of attendees, including Martha Stewart and Tiffany Haddish.

NYFW 2026: From Mother-Daughter Duo to a Brand’s Triumphant Return

While Cardi’s appearance was a definite highlight, the 2026 NYFW schedule was packed with other buzz-worthy moments. The week saw the return of several heavy-hitters, with the most notable being Off-White, which returned to NYC after a brief hiatus. The Off-White Spring/Summer 2026 collection, a sport-fueled production, brought a ton of excitement as fans awaited Ib Kamara’s latest array. The show’s front rows were filled with celebrities, including Mary J. Blige, Ciara, Ellie the Elephant, Paris Jackson, and Jordan Chiles.

The NYFW 2026 schedule also included a celebratory show from Sergio Hudson, who presented his Spring 2026 collection at Spring Studios on Friday night. The designer’s vision for the collection was centered on “color” and “fun,” with a goal to “bring joy to people” and encourage them to “dress up again.” The lineup was a showcase of his signature impeccable tailoring and masterful use of vibrant colors. The show also brought a bit of drama, as Love Island stars Nic Vansteenberghe and Serena Page were seated front row, while guests were reportedly puzzled as to why Olandria Carthen, Vansteenberghe’s girlfriend, wasn’t with him; she was, in fact, walking the runway in the show. Elsewhere in the building, the Sergio Hudson Ready-to-Wear show saw many stars like Natasha Lyonne, Deja Kelly, Mickey Guyton, Kandi Burruss, and Sherri Shepherd.

This season, 2026 NYFW is proving to be a gateway for discovery, creativity, and storytelling. In addition to great fashion, the stars are strutting the streets of New York. From a “mini-me” mother-daughter duo shutting down the Alexander Wang show to a returning legend stirring up the runway, this week is a reminder that in fashion, as in life, you never know what’s coming next
