Is This A Deal Breaker For You?

You can read the blog below or watch it on YouTube by clicking here.

He has such a cute face, doesn’t he?

His name is Levi and he loves to nap snuggled up next to me.

I absolutely love and adore Levi but for some, he could be a dating Deal Breaker.

What exactly is a dating Deal Breaker?

These are the qualities a man either has or comes with that you can’t tolerate in your life.

Men also have Deal Breakers when it comes to dating you.

But, the difference between the sexes is men honor their Deal Breakers.

You’ll see this when a man is in a relationship with a woman for years and years, yet he won’t marry her.

In his mind, she has a Deal Breaker that isn’t suitable for marriage.

We as women have a tendency not to honor our Deal Breakers when it comes to men.

We think with a little work and a lot of love, we can change him and all will be well in our world.

    This just isn’t true.

Men don’t change unless they want to change.

But you might say, I love him so much.

If this is the case, and he has one of your Deal Breakers, you aren’t honoring yourself and you will be settling.

    Many women choose to settle.

    Why?

Because they’re afraid no one out there is as good as this man – a man who has one of their Deal Breakers going on in his life.

This is an illusion. Your mind is playing tricks on you.  All it does is take you to a place of scarcity when it comes to men.

With our age group leading the pack with the highest divorce rate these days, there is actually an abundance of men out there for you to date.

All you have to do is go to a mainstream dating websites (click here for some of my favorites) and you’ll see thousands of men right in your area looking for a woman just like you if you’re willing to give him a chance.

Now, let’s take a moment and talk about some common Deal Breakers worth thinking about.

    • Pets – If you have a beloved Levi or Fluffy in your life, then you’ll want a man who’ll treasure your “baby” as you do.
    • Children –  With adult children or minors, where will you fit in the family equation? And if they are minor children, are you willing to deal with the teenage years again, especially if your kids are now adults?
    • Smokers – I once had a boyfriend who’d take himself outside in all kinds of weather for a smoke.

He’d stand outside my garage door and puff away, then he’d come in and wash his face before getting near me.

That was love to him.  For me, it became a major DEAL BREAKER for future relationships.

    • Religion – Do you need a man in your life who can share your religious beliefs, going to church or temple with you on a regular basis?
    • Alcohol use  – Are members of Alcoholics Anonymous okay for you to date? Or do you want someone you can share a glass of wine with at the end of the day?
    • Differences in sexual behavior – Whether it’s a full-blown Fifty Shades of Grey relationship you desire, or sex once a year on your birthday.
    • Money issues and differences – Do you want him to pay for everything?  Or can he be financially responsible for just his side?

Take some time to clear your head and really think about the specifics of your Deal Breakers and what each one really means to you.

I guarantee whatever Deal Breakers you skip over now… will become major conflicts in your relationship at a later date.

So it’s better to know what your Deal Breakers are and whether he has them before you get too far into a new relationship.

While you’re thinking about it, why don’t you take a few moments and write your own Deal Breaker list.

As you get to know a man, refer back to this list to see if he has the qualities it takes to be with you.

And remember, if a healthy long-term relationship is what you really desire in your life, then you’ll want to choose a man who doesn’t have the Deal Breakers you’ve put on your list.

  • Dear Jane Texts

    Dear Jane Texts

    [ad_1]

Why ‘Dear Jane’ Texts even when your over 50 are so hurtful and what to do if you get one!

You can read the blog below or watch it on YouTube by clicking here.

Technology has made life easier in so many ways.

Whatever you need, can be taken care of in minutes making it a quick and efficient way to deal with life.

Unfortunately, technology has a downside and that is texting has become the modern way of ending relationships in the 21st century.

It’s the new Dear John/ Dear Jane say of ending the connection with someone you’ve been dating.

Instead of a letter, it’s now done with a text.

I know because it happened to me when I was dating.

I met a man named Matt online.

He and I really hit it off.

It’s embarrassing to admit but he was the first guy I ever dated where my knees nearly buckled when I’d see him . . . he was one handsome man to look at.

Our dating relationship was easy and fun.

We could talk for hours about anything and everything.

He was one of those guys that knew when something was wrong just from hearing the sound of your voice.

That was a huge check on my ‘What I’d like in a man checklist.’

We were in the beginning stages of a relationship when I had to travel to California for a conference.

During the week apart, we kept in touch with long conversations on the phone.

Two days before I was heading home, he told me how much he missed me and how he couldn’t wait until I got home.

So imagine my surprise when I arrived home and received this text:

“Hi, Lisa- I’ve enjoyed our time together but I feel we got too close too fast. I really like you but I need some space.  I’ll call you in a few weeks.  Matt”

    I was stunned.

I had no clue why he was blowing me off when only days earlier, he had professed such care and concern for my well being.

If we had only dated once or twice, I would have understood.

But we were supposedly in a relationship and he ended it in the most impersonal way possible.

I remember feeling so hurt and emotionally devastated because I had no idea why this had happened.

I texted him hoping he would have an answer for why he decided to end our relationship.

He didn’t answer and he never called again.

Sadly, texting has become the new way to break up.

For the person who wants to split, it’s easy and drama free not having to answer the BIG question of Why?

And they don’t have to experience how the breakup may have hurt someone’s feelings.

Just a quick goodbye via text and the relationship is done.

For the person on the receiving end, it’s tough because there’s no closure.

If this happens to you, the best thing you can do is close the book on this chapter of your dating life.

Don’t stalk him on Facebook. (I did – I wasn’t a dating coach then – and found out an old girlfriend had come back into his life. I now had the answer but it didn’t make it easier.)

If this happens to you, take some time to heal.

Don’t sit around waiting for him to call.

You want a man in your life who respects you enough to do the honorable thing.

When you’re ready, get back out into the dating world and look for someone who’s a better fit for you.

As hard as it is to get a Dear Jane text, keep in mind that when one door closes a much better one can open.

I know it opened for me and so many of my clients and I know it can for you too!

    Your Coaching Program is PRICELESS!

Lisa, the valuable insight you shared has opened my eyes to staying empowered dating at this time in my life. From your vast knowledge, I learned about “me” and why my relationships failed. Each day reminding myself how to connect to the right man making him my “hero” for a long-lasting relationship. I am so thankful I worked with you. What you & your coaching program has done for me is priceless. Thank you!  Christine, North Carolina

  • Teyana Taylor Claps Back At ‘Clickbait’ Content & ‘Salacious Headlines’ Based On Her Divorce Docs From Iman Shumpert Split

Teyana Taylor Claps Back At ‘Clickbait’ Content & ‘Salacious Headlines’ Based On Her Divorce Docs From Iman Shumpert Split

    [ad_1]

Teyana Taylor has never put her business in the streets or publicly checked the media, but she had time tu-day yesterday!

The singer-songwriter took to her InstaStories to share an open letter to TMZ. In the lengthy post, she blasted the digital outlet for creating “salacious headlines” about her divorce from Iman Shumpert.

The digital publication posted an article reporting the 33-year-old asked the court to find her soon-to-be ex in contempt for failing to uphold his commitments until they officially divorced. The headline that pushed Tey over her limit read, “Teyana Taylor Iman’s Leaving Me, Kids In The Cold!!! Says He Cut House Utilities.”

Not TMZ acting like the dancer and her children were huddled by a fire like Tiny Tim to find warmth.

In a passionate post to IG, the “Gotta Love ME” singer highlighted her frustrations. She wanted to keep details of her divorce under wraps to protect “all parties.” Despite her best attempts, the world still knows her biznie.

The actress began the post, “Y’all really be taking it too far with these d*mn misleading headlines and I’m tired of it!”

She continued, “Every time I turn around it’s either half leaked and made up stories or words twisted up for clickbait.”

“I kindly asked y’all to mind y’all business. However, y’all still putting out f***kery.”

She added that she has been “graceful, cordial and protective of all parties involved but “sadly that energy has not been reciprocated at all.”

“I haven’t spoken to any blogs or anyone else for that matter!!!” she contended.

The “Thousand and One” actress’s pain was palpable as she continued, “My court documents aren’t clickbait to be used for your salacious headlines!!!”

“Y’all are taking info from my original court complaint (which, newsflash… has to be submitted giving your reason as to why you’re filing for divorce) as well as other court documents and creating stories,” she expressed.

The mom of two shared that if the outlet covers her divorce, they must tell the whole story. Teyana claims TMZ showcases information that is the juiciest and sellable to their messy viewership.

“If you mothaf**kas gone be in my business b%tch be in the whole thing, get accurate information and actually comprehend!”, she typed before adding, “I can’t stand y’all ass*s!!!!”

The R&B crooner clarified that Iman did cut their utilities when she and their daughters, Junie and Rue, still lived in the residence. However, the ex-NBA player’s act of stupidity didn’t affect them for very long.

The “Wake Up Love” singer wrote, “All my utilities was on same day and after that s**t was pulled. Me and My kids are never going to be sitting ducks.”

The multi-talented superstar noted she tried to the process private by filing the divorce docs under their initials.  The public didn’t know about the split for nearly a year. She claimed Iman’s legal team put them on blast by filing a motion under their full names.

Experiencing a divorce can be an obviously difficult process. Doing so in the public eye adds an extra layer of pain, considering your tech-savvy child could access the messy details.

Tey seems like the type of mom who would never want her children to view their father negatively, even if he did something trifling like turn off the electricity in the home they lived in.

Wishing all parties peace as the remainder of this divorce process unfolds.

And TMZ, please stop playing with Teyana before the rose from the concrete catches a case.

End Of Mackie Matrimony? Eazy The Block Captain Seemingly Confirms Remy Ma Affair & Papoose Breakup In Leaked Audio

    [ad_1]

Where are the Love & Hip Hop cameras when you need them?

Remy Ma’s alleged side boy battle rapper, Eazy The Block Captain, seemingly confirms she is no longer with fellow rapper and husband of 15 years, Papoose.

Hot New Hip Hop reports a newly released recording featuring the admitted adulterer that reveals the aftermath of his alleged affair with Remy, 43. If the audio recording of Eazy chatting with a “friend” is true, it’s a wrap for the “Black Love” legends.

Eazy shared shocking details, including how Remy begged him not to speak publicly about their affair. He also highlighted the friction he currently has with Pap, 45.

“She don’t want me to,” the lyricist stated. “She been on my a** like asking me like please don’t do it. I’m like aite copy. I’m just asking you do that for me,” he claimed.

The battle rapper believes Papoose should make a statement to clear Remy of the affair.

“Why am I the only one doing something for you?” he asked in reference to Remy’s request for him to remain mum. He continued, “Why he not though? Talking bout he held you down from jail. This n***a got 16 years in.”

“He could have stopped all of that s**t with a tweet.”

We’re assuming Pap’s loyalty died when his wife allegedly laid down with you, sir.

Check out what Eazy The Block said about the alleged affair aftermath with Remy Ma and Papoose After The Flip!

Eazy added that Papoose “made it look weird,” but he’s “been wit shorty, whose real name is Reminisce Kioni Mackie.

“The fact that she said something, I said something and you didn’t. That make it look weird,”  he added. “The fact that you posted a Father’s Day picture without her, make it look weird.”

Eazy continued, “N***as starting to try to figure it out like is he f******g with Remy? But not knowing that I been wit shorty. N****s don’t know that she been at my crib since then.”

Then the battle rapper made a few statements that could be classified as clout chasing.

“She don’t want what’s about to happen. This little b***s**t right now is already hitting and stressing her out. We’re like yo let’s not make it to Shaderoom. Let’s not make it to TMZ, but in my head I’m just like man f**k that. I already got 5,000 followers in 2 days.

Someone seems to be geeked about the little notoriety he’s receiving.

Eazy continued, “I told her I say whatever you want me to. But tell this n***a he has to see me though.”

He fumed, “I don’t even give a f**k if I lose but we have to fight though.”

Mista, you already allegedly got papped up once. Simmer down.

Eazy then addressed the backlash he’s received from the internet.

“She just needs to let [the public] know they’re not together,” he tells the snitch.

“I’m already getting killed yo like he’s a homewrecker,” he vented. He continued, “From battle rap I’m getting killed and from the industry I’m getting killed. Now I gotta switch my career around. I’m the bad guy now.”

The Philadelphia rapper claims Papoose revels in the fact that he got the best of him during a scuffle after discovering his wife’s infidelity.

“I think he like that sh**. Like yo ‘I beat up my girl new dude,’ he said about the Pap, born Shamele Mackie.

Cheating rumors took flight at Remy’s Chrome 23 Battle Rap showcase. Geechi Gotti allegedly outed her during a battle rap matchup with Eazy. While Remy stood in between the men during the battle, Gotti took aim at the rapstress.

“If n****s found out you was f****g the help, that could really ruin your image,” he rapped.

Geechi then referenced the alleged altercation between the “Sharades” rapper and Eazy.

“When you ain’t feeling good, [Pap] put you in the back in the best moods. So, he’ll be damned to see you get stepped to by a n***a that he socked out and stood over like a stepstool.”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXPGheOhEhQ

Thanks to Gotti and Remy’s alleged blabbering new boo, we seemingly have confirmation that the Mackie matrimony is over.

Fans will be anxiously awaiting the “Conceited” rapper’s confession that the Black Love she and Papoose shared is no more.

    Check back for updates.
