SandeseAate Hai was composed by Anu Malik for the 1997 movie Border. Malik discussed GharKabAaoge in an interview with PTI, stating that since he was the song’s original creator, his name will be featured even if he isn’t in the recreated version. “I believe the song is recreated. I’m not a part of it. I’m sure they will give my name to it as I’ve created the song. They should because people know about our contribution, they can’t get away. They can’t make Border 2 without SandeseAate Hai… Both Anu Malik and Javed Akhtar are up there (in their contribution), so they will have to put our name somewhere,” he said.
GharKabAaoge audio release
The makers have earlier released the audio track for the Border 2 song GharKabAaoge. Releasing the audio, T-Series wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “The Nation’s Anthem is here. A song born from the soul of India. India’s biggest musical collaboration arrives!”

Was Border 2 delayed?
BollywoodLife had exclusively informed ya’ll last year that JP Dutta wanted to make a film for a long time. But the rights to the movie were with producer Bharat Shah. There were some issues regarding royalty about Border which had created differences between Dutta and Shah. Dutta had tried to sort things out but to no avail. It seems all is well between the makers now.
Border movie was an ensemble cast war film based on the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The cast of Border includes Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Rakhee Gulzar, Pooja Bhatt, Tabu, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry and more. Sunny Deol played the role of Maha Vir Chakra recipient Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri. Back then he was a Major who led his 120 soldiers against 2000-3000 Pakistani soldiers and succeeded in driving the enemy battalion away.
