Blueface Shares Update From Prison
On Wednesday, (Sept. 25), Blueface dropped some new photos from behind bars on Instagram. The latest images show the ‘Thotiana’ rapper holding a phone to his ear against a blurry background.
Blue captioned the snapshots, “Am I missing out, or y’all missing me?”
As The Shade Room previously reported, the 27-year-old has been incarcerated since January of this year. In August, a judge sentenced him to four years for violating probation related to a September 2021 assault case.
Meanwhile, Las Vegas issued a warrant for him in connection with a 2022 shooting incident. Ultimately, he received additional probation, a suspended jail sentence and credit for 30 days already served.
Blueface’s Mom & Social Media Users React To New Photos
Social media users quickly reacted to Blueface’s latest photos on The Shade Room’s Instagram post. His mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, also joined the comment section to offer words of encouragement for her son.

Blue’s Mugshot & More Info On His Arrest
Blue’s latest photos are among the few that have emerged while he serves his time.
Earlier this month, TMZ obtained his mugshot taken on (Sept. 5) after he transferred to North Kern State Prison in California. The photo showcased Blue’s new look with a low cut, switching things up from his signature broccoli haircut.
TMZ also reported that he has joined the general population at the facility, where he will have job and class options to prepare for life after his release.
Rapper Speaks About Life Behind Bars
Previously, TSR reported that Blueface made his first phone call from prison during Gina Views, ‘Effective Immediately’ podcast on August 19.
In their conversation, the Los Angeles artist shared how he was doing, stating that he’s been “chilling.”
“I’m in my environment, you know imma always soak up and adapt to it, it ain’t really nothing. It’s like a little break from responsibility, honestly,” Blue said during the call.
He also mentioned watching various news and talk shows, including ‘Sherri’ and ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show.’
Additionally, he provided an update on his weight, noting changes in his appearance over the past few months.
“I’m like 180 pounds right now; I’ve never been 180 before. I’m getting sized up; I’m about to bounce out looking like a Dalmatian,” Blueface joked.
