Jeans Dominate My Capsule Wardrobe—7 Outfits I'm Relying on for Winter

    [ad_1]

It’s official: Winter is here. Now is the time to bring out the sweaters and coats and start to think about and revitalizing our weekly outfit rosters ready for the season ahead.

But let’s not make life too difficult for ourselves—instead of overhauling all your sartorial habits, start by tweaking your existing go-to looks. As a team, we Who What Wear writers are guilty of living in jeans. And we know we’re not the only ones. Scanning Instagram this week, I’ve noticed that pretty much every influencer I follow is just as reliant on denim as I am. It makes sense: no other trouser is quite as versatile, seasonless and suited to everyday wear.

So, let’s start there. Instead of reaching for your tired T-shirts and worn-out ankle boots after buttoning up your favorite jeans, try out some of the fresh combinations below.

  • Sofia Richie Wore the $98 Jeans That Fashion Girls Know Are Better Than Designer

Sofia Richie Wore the $98 Jeans That Fashion Girls Know Are Better Than Designer

Ask any true fashion girl for a list of their most prized sartorial possessions and nine times out of ten, one item on said list will be a pair of perfect 501 Levi’s jeans. Maybe they were scored at a flea market in Paris or an IYKYK online vintage shop, or perhaps, they were bought new and personally worn in until they were stretched and softened to perfection. No matter where they were sourced or what form they were in when they were purchased, Levi’s will always become a cherished and frequently worn wardrobe item, more so even than any pair of expensive, designer jeans.

For proof, see Sofia Richie Grainge‘s latest denim-clad outfit, which she posted to her Instagram on New Year’s Eve. The newlywed who’s recent wedding looks were all custom Chanel could have any pair of jeans she wanted, and yet, she chose ones that cost just $98. That’s the power that Levi’s 501 jeans hold over the fashion crowd. We’re all smitten (and not fighting it either). With her oversize pair of light-wash 501s, Richie Grainge added a white Khaite tee and Bottega Veneta’s celeb-favorite Andiamo bag in a soft shade of butter yellow.

Below, see what all the hype’s about by shopping some of the best, most lauded Levi’s available today. Or if you’re already a loyal fan, double up on your favorite pairs. After all, there’s no such thing as too much denim, especially when Levi’s jeans are involved.

Gabrielle Union Just Confirmed This One Denim Trend Is Chic For Any Occasion

New York style, and Kate Spade New York, is nothing but a mix of chic, high-and-low items that, when paired together, deliver a mix of fun, eclectic personal style that’s quite easy to show off. Just like the rest of the brand’s guests (including Everything Everywhere All At Once‘s Stephanie Tsu and TikTok star and actress Delaney Rowe) in town to celebrate the launch of Kate Spade’s sixth book, Union celebrated the night in style and heritage, a nod to the brand’s 30th anniversary from earlier this year.

If you’re looking to get your own Gab Union-inspired denim look, opt for a pair of loose-fitting, low or mid-rise jeans in combination with a statement going-out top.

  • These 18 Pairs of Jeans Are Cute, Comfortable, and Under $75—You’re Welcome

These 18 Pairs of Jeans Are Cute, Comfortable, and Under $75—You’re Welcome

    [ad_1]

There’s nothing worse than an ill-fitting pair of jeans, especially expensive ones. Nowadays, it feels like jeans prices are through the roof while the return on investment in terms of quality and comfort no longer exists. Personally, I’ve paid way too much for jeans that either pinch, squeeze, or suffocate me without flattering my figure or making me feel secure. While I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with luxury jeans over the years of being an editor, I have to admit that sometimes the jeans I constantly gravitate toward are some of the cheapest.

Whether it’s by word-of-mouth recommendations from my friends, spending hours reading and watching reviews, or trying these jeans for myself, these 18 pairs of under-$75 jeans are some of the best on the market, hands down. Scroll to shop, and if you buy them all up, don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Fashion People Will Live In These 9 Specific Jeans Trends This Fall

That’s the beauty of the jeans world as it is now; there are just so many options to choose from. Some might say even too many. • Hailey Bieber Wore the World’s Most Classic Pair of Jeans in a Very 2023 Way

Hailey Bieber Wore the World’s Most Classic Pair of Jeans in a Very 2023 Way

    [ad_1]

As much as I love trying out new denim brands, there’s only one that I’m truly loyal to: Levi’s. Original, I know. But there’s a reason why the more than 150-year-old denim brand is still beloved by so many. Simply put, the jeans it produces have a better fit, are made of better materials, and age better than any of the ones its competitors make—period—especially when it comes to its OG pair, the 501s. While you shouldn’t really need more proof of their superiority if you ask me, I’ll give it to you anyways.

Hailey Bieber, who’s probably tried every single pair of elite jeans on the market, always seems to come back to her 501s. This latest time, she wore a vintage pair from Orlee Weisberg’s L.A.-based vintage denim brand Denim by Orlee, which are purposely oversize and therefore sit low on Bieber’s waist. She paired the jeans with a blue-and-white striped Loewe polo worn tucked in, a Previously Known leather bomber jacket, and Bottega Veneta Westerncore mules. It’s a combination that feels extremely 2023 despite her jeans being originally designed way back in the 1800s. Further adding to its modern aesthetic, she wore arguably this year’s most popular sunglasses, Saint Laurent’s SL 557 Shade, and Miu Miu’s Wander Matelassé bag, a style the Italian brand re-creates season after season.

Keep scrolling to see how Bieber styles her 501s.
