    It may come as no surprise that Reformation’s revamped swimwear comes with new and improved materials. The line, which retails from $68 to $168 in sizes XS-XL, is made from a renewable and bio-based fiber called EVO by Fulgar. And, according to Reformation’s chief innovation officer Alison Melville, the product will only grow more sustainable with each seasonal drop (check out drop three here!). The first range incorporated deadstock fabric from the brand’s debut swimwear collection in 2019, and Reformation promises to “continue innovating and trying out new materials until we create the most sustainable swimwear possible,” according to Melville.

    Instantly attracted to the striking bikinis and one-pieces, PS editors were eager to get our hands on the latest swimwear designs, many of which were influenced by bestselling products across other categories. “We designed Ref Swim to complement and round out our customers’ existing Ref wardrobes,” Melville tells PS. “Throughout the design process, we were inspired by the concept of outfitting and looked to the silhouettes of some of our top performing apparel items to create complementary swim pieces. For example, the Melanie Top was one of our most popular styles in 2023 so we carried the peekaboo design detail through in our Tossa One Piece and Tossa Bikini Top.”

    Melville confirms that the success of drops one and two has exceeded expectations, with solid colors being most popular — a trend that speaks to the Ref shopper’s love for ’90s minimalism. Now, intentionally or not, Lively’s swimsuit seems to be a subtle nod to the various eras of Swift’s music catalog. Specifically, fans were quick to call out that the cherry-red shade screamed “Red,” while the cut of the swimsuit itself was fitting of Swift’s bubblegum-pink outfit in the “You Need to Calm Down” music video tied to her “Lover” era.

    With “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” slated for release this October, many fans have speculated that “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” will be the next re-recording on the list. In the comments section, though, fans speculated that Lively’s bikini and close connection to Swift could indicate the “Red” or “Lover” re-recordings will soon. “Red (Taylor’s Version) is next Omg! The latest comes to us straight from a boat in Capri, where the 50-year-old supermodel is celebrating her wedding anniversary with musician Tom Kaulitz. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel chose a notably affordable two-piece from London-based, women-founded brand Wild Lovers.

    Called the Destiny and retailing for $73, the strappy, animal-print design comes with a halter-style bandeau that can be worn with a criss-cross at the chest, and either a bow or double wraparound ties below the bust. The bikini bottoms feature ruching on the front and back, and side ties that emphasize the string details of the suit even more. Accessorized with circular, gold-rimmed sunglasses, a giant straw sun hat, and a plastic cup of red wine, Klum was ready to set sail. She even toted a House of Mua Mua sequin-embellished raffia bag with a Capri graphic to show off her love for the couple’s destination.

    Most recently, Klum supported her husband’s band Tokio Hotel in feather-trimmed denim shorts from Area and acid wash ripped jeans that felt very 2000s. Before that, she was partying in Sardinia, Italy, rocking everything from a cherry print bikini to a pink crochet set.     Anitta is putting a soft twist on summer’s most sultry fashion trend: the thongkini. On Aug. 2, the singer shared photos from a recent vacation in Mykonos with her rumored boyfriend, Simone Susinna. In images from the romantic getaway, Anitta posed in a series of revealing thongkinis, which she styled with crochet cover-ups that were perfect for relaxing in the sand and posing by the pool.

    Anitta’s first outfit consisted of a barely there thong bikini layered underneath a crochet minidress. The cover-up featured side cutouts and an open back with crisscross detailing. She styled the ensemble with sunglasses and gold jewelry. Anitta’s second vacation look was a textured bandeau bikini top with a ring cutout and coordinated thong bottoms. Continuing the crochet theme, she paired the high-waisted bottoms with a low-rise woven miniskirt, which featured a lace-up tie along her side. Other celebrities who’ve tested the thongkini trend in recent months include Megan Fox, Suki Waterhouse, and Sofía Vergara.

    “Living life [arrow pointing up emoji],” the singer captioned photos of herself and Susinna on the beach. Though the couple haven’t officially confirmed their romance, Susinna added fuel to the fire when he jumped into the comments section. “From here to the moon and come back Amore mio,” he wrote, earning heart and flame emoji from fans.

    A few days earlier, on July 31, Anitta shared more photos from her “mini vacations” with Susinna. In one snap from their intimate getaway, she wore an ocean-blue, high-waisted bikini with a low-rise maxi skirt, a matching crop top, and platform sandals. She also posed by the pool in a black thongkini layered underneath a see-through set. Further in the carousel, Anitta swapped out the sheer maxi skirt from the second ensemble for a midi skirt that made it easier to dance as the summer fun continued.
