Tracee Ellis Ross celebrated another trip around the sun nearly in her birthday suit.
Ellis Ross, who turned 53 on Wednesday, October 29, showed off a number of bikini pics throughout her life while commemorating her birthday. In a carousel of photos, which she shared via Instagram on Thursday, October 30, Ellis Ross first posed in a hot tub while overlooking an ocean.
She wore a green patterned bikini, featuring a halter top finished with triangle cups and matching bottoms that tied at her hips.
The actress went makeup-free while gazing into the camera and showed off her dewy skin. She pulled her brunette hair back into an updo.
In the next slide, Ellis Ross shared a sweet memory from her childhood. At the time, she jumped up and down on a beach while wearing a tankini.
Ellis Ross then shared a more recent clip of her dancing in a pool. She slayed in a patchwork design featuring an assortment of florals.
In more snaps, Ellis Ross rocked a hot pink look equipped with stripes and polka dots, a black-and-white set, a leopard-print two-piece and more.
She also showed off an all-black look, which she elevated with Nike high-top sneakers. She further styled the look with a gray jacket, which she wrapped around her hips. Ellis gave fans more looks at her bikini collection, including a strapless sweetheart top, a bubblegum triangle top, a red one-piece with an open back, a floral look, a green spotted design and more.
Her most colorful suit was a strapless look complete with bright blue cups adorned with red, neon green and yellow flowers. Her look was complete with a cutout over the center of her chest. She tied her ensemble together with string bottoms.
“In honor of this water baby’s 53rd birthday, please enjoy this bathing suit retrospective spanning 1978-2025 #scorpioseason,” Ellis Ross captioned the post. Her celebrity friends, including Cardi B, Marsai Martin and Janelle Monae, wished her a good one in the comments section.
“Fine wine 🔥,” stylist Karla Welch wrote. Padma Lakshmi added, “Gurl! You were born to wear very little!!!🥳😍🔥🎂🎈🎉🎊❤️.” Andy Cohen commented, “🔥🔥🔥 happy birthday. Now do Sports Illustrated!”
Ellis Ross previously showed off her bikini body in August. She rocked a black swimsuit featuring scalloped cups and matching bottoms. She elevated the look with oversized black sunglasses. In one snap, she posed in front of her pool and showed off her view. Ross turned up the heat in more pics while taking an outdoor shower.
Ross previously opened up about her confidence, telling Today in 2023, “I think I’m the sexiest I’ve ever been. I feel fantastic and I feel like the world is my oyster.”

She also opened up about aging in 2022, sharing with Glamour that she doesn’t “understand the obsession with antiaging.”
“I think it’s an honor to age, and so many people shy away from it and don’t want to tell their age,” she said. “I love getting older. I look at women who are steps ahead of me and see so much beauty and wisdom in them.”
