According to a report in TOI, Bhavika Sharma will also exit Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin before the leap. As of now, media reports state that Sai, Harini, Ishaan’s parents Isha, Shantanu will be retained from the original cast and the rest of the characters will mark their exit from the show. However, the above-mentioned news portal has stated that even Bhavika will leave the show before the leap, and the story will continue with a completely different cast and story. Talking about Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin taking a leap, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Shakti Arora stated that he was surprised and shocked that makers opted for a leap at TRP 2.0. He mentioned that the TRP is quite decent at thus point in time. He spoke about Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin being consistent even though other shows suffered due to IPL 2024. Shakti Arora mentioned that he was prepared for the leap and had an intuition after he started getting calls about the same. He further added, “When it was announced, everyone was disturbed. The entire Bhosale family will exit, so everyone was a little low. However, I have come to believe that that’s what life is. You can be doing one show forever; not that I’d prefer that too.” Shakti Arora also spoke about what was missing in the show. He agreed that Ishaan and Savi’s love story wasn’t explored much and he was looking forward to a dramatic love-story of IshVi. He said, “However, I guess with time, it became monotonous and stagnant.
