  • Main Hoon Song From Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan Releases | Filmfare.com

Anticipation for Salman Khan’s upcoming Battle of Galwan is soaring amongst audiences. The makers are releasing the special tracks from the movie one after the other. Following the phenomenal response to Matrubhumi, the makers unveiled the much-awaited Valentine’s Day special romantic track, Main Hoon. The song features Salman Khan alongside Chitrangda Singh. It tenderly captures the emotional core of the film and adds a soulful layer to its narrative. While the song portrays the love angle of a soldier, real-life hero Colonel Sarabjit Singh (Retd), it also offers a heartfelt reflection of love in a soldier’s life. Interestingly, Salman Khan Films pays tribute to retired veterans and their families with the song.

The makers dropped an endearing video featuring Colonel Sarabjit Singh (Retd) along with his better half, Mrs. Ikwinder Singh. The video is an apt tribute to the retired veterans and their families. Having served in the Indian Army from 1977 to 2005 in the 9th Unit, Bihar Regiment, Colonel Sarabjit Singh led operations such as Operation Rakshak, Operation Rhino, Operation Vijay and Operation Pawan.

In the video, they spoke about the life of a soldier’s wife and how she played a pivotal role in his journey. From staying apart for long periods, to teaching his wife how to handle a pistol in case of any untoward incident, to missing home-cooked kadhi chawal and parathas and cherishing family photographs as his biggest support system, their story reflects the strong bond of love between a soldier and his wife. Moreover, beyond being a brave Army couple, they are also proud parents of Miss India winner Hasleen Kaur.

The song, on the other hand, tenderly portrays the contrast in a soldier’s family life. It shows the warmth of happy days spent at home, followed by the ache of separation when duty calls. This emotional shift is woven into the narrative and makes the song both intimate and deeply moving.

Battle of Galwan is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films, with Apoorva Lakhia as the director.

Salman Khan's Battle Of Galwan likely to MISS April 17 release? Here's what we know

Battle Of Galwan Postponed: The movie Battle of Galwan, which was directed by Apoorva Lakhia and starring Bollywood star Salman Khan, is scheduled to open in theatres on April 17. According to a recent media report, the film’s release may be delayed, despite the fact that admirers of the actor are excited to see him on large screens. Yes, you read correctly. Bollywood Hungama reports that Salman and the film’s producers intend to postpone the release of the movie.

Will the Battle of Galwan release get postponed?

A source, cited by the portal, informed that, “Battle Of Galwan’s shoot is not yet over and the reshoot is taking more time than expected. From February 9, a one-week schedule will commence in the Golden Tobacco Factory in Mumbai. After this schedule gets over, a few more days of shooting are left and by February-end, it’ll be a wrap.”

“Director Apoorva Lakhia will begin editing the reshot portions. And that’s not all. As per the rules, Battle Of Galwan needs to be shown to the Ministry of Defence and this process might also take time. Due to these two reasons, the makers feel that they would not be able to meet the April 17 deadline. Salman is clear that such a special, patriotic film needs to be nurtured well. He has told the team of the film that they should not rush through the process and take their time in ensuring that the final product looks appealing, compelling and cinematic,” the source added.

Salman and Apoorva yet to make final decision

Salman and Apoorva have not yet made a decision, according to the report, and a definitive picture could surface in a few days. “Salman bhai is unpredictable; he might still get the film out on April 17 despite the circumstances, but the chances seem remote,” the source concluded.

Heera Sohal, Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, Abhilash Chaudhary, Vipin Bhardwaj, and Chitrangda Singh are also featured in the movie.
