Amid a week of near-arctic temperatures in the city that never sleeps, New York Fashion Week brought vibrance and energy that kicked off Fashion Month with a bang. Strong Fall 2025 trends have already begun to emerge that carry with them a maximalist spirit, be it in silhouette, color, or detail.

From oversized wrap coats to beautifully embellished detailing, monochromatic looks in bright cherry red and fringe details that possess alluring movement as you walk, New York Fashion Week’s Fall 2025 shows were a true celebration of creativity and a return to a whimsical spirit we are all so desperately seeking. And the trend everyone will be talking about marks a return to nostalgic fashion aesthetics: dresses layered over pants for a cool 2000s vibe.

Though American designers went full-force with the presentation of oversized shapes, light-catching crystals, and more, it was all juxtaposed with more practical roots. Be it a wool skirt suit from Michael Kors with extensive embellished detailing, fringe bags from Altuzarra that are the ultimate in throw-on-and-go, or Altuzarra wrap coats that offer a true effortless sophistication, the stylistic balance was palpable.

Ahead, check out eight fall 2025 trends that we can’t get enough of. And we’ve pulled together some of our favorite pieces of the moment so you can start shopping these looks right now.

  • Lori Harvey Goes Pants-Less in Black Briefs Amid Breakup Rumors

Lori Harvey Goes Pants-Less in Black Briefs Amid Breakup Rumors

    [ad_1]

Lori Harvey is one of those style stars who makes me want to try all the trends, no matter how risquΓ©. But her latest look is pretty daring, even in my book. That is, of course, because she slayed in little more than tights, briefs, and a graphic tee while in attendance at Odell Beckham Jr.’s party on Monday, Nov. 6. I may never understand how she managed to tuck her T-shirt just perfectly into her briefs β€” and avoid shivering from the winter chill β€” but I do respect it.

Spotted walking into the venue, Harvey wore a washed black Pink Floyd T-shirt tucked into a pair of high-waisted black briefs. Underneath, she slipped into a pair of sheer black tights and pointed-toe kitten heels. Around her neck were two layered diamond necklaces, and she seemed to be wearing large diamond earrings in coordination. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek top bun, and her makeup was elegantly subtle, as always.

Harvey and Damson Idris were both at the event, though they arrived separately. Rumors have been swirling over the couple’s possible breakup after fans took note of Harvey deleting photos of the couple from her Instagram account (Idris reportedly deactivated his account). Could it be that Harvey chose a particularly head-turning look as her own no-pants version of the revenge dress? Perhaps. But nothing has yet been confirmed about their relationship status.

Harvey is well-known for her risk-taking style. Whether it’s a skimpy string bikini, sheer velvet gown, or totally cutout dress, she’s always willing to try something new. And her latest indulgence in the no-pants trend that seems to be taking Hollywood by storm is all the inspo I need to make a bold statement this winter. Scroll up for a closer look at Harvey’s outfit, then check out all the celebrities embracing the no-pants trend.

  • Billie Eilish’s Bra and See-Through Top Are Making Me Rethink 2000s Trends

Billie Eilish’s Bra and See-Through Top Are Making Me Rethink 2000s Trends

    [ad_1]

I admire Billie Eilish’s commitment to early-aughts fashion. Just when I think you’ve seen enough logo styles, baguette bags, and boudoir-inspired looks, I catch a glimpse of Eilish wearing a resurrected 2000s trend β€” and all of a sudden, I need to partake. This past weekend, Eilish was spotted in attendance to celebrate the release of her latest campaign for the Italian design house wearing a totally sheer top with jeans, carrying the bag from said campaign, the new Gucci Horsebit 1955 baguette bag. It was, of course, early aughts at its finest. Others in attendance at the event included Jessica Chastain, Daisy Edgar Jones, Julia Garner, and more.

The bag, for which Eilish is the face, is the first that the brand has crafted of Demetra, their “innovative animal-free material made in-house with 75% plant-derived raw material sources,” according to the video campaign’s release on Instagram. The version of the baguette that Eilish carried around for the event was the house’s traditional tan-toned logo, complete with coordinated tan trim and straps.

The logo print perfectly matched her sheer top, which was overlaid on little more than a black bra top. Keeping it understated with a pair of loose-fitting jeans, Eilish tied her hair back in a matching logo head scarf, a slight bit of her bright red showing through. With a deep black cat-eye, her piercing blue eyes looked more head-turning than ever.

Eilish is certainly a fan of the sheer trend. Back in September, she took to Instagram to show off her no-pants look with little more than fishnet tights, while also taking the stage in Budapest wearing totally sheer bike shorts with track shorts layered on top.

Ahead, get a closer look at Eilish’s outfit for the event.

  • SofΓa Vergara Wore a Boob-Window Dress For Date Night, and I’m Inspired

SofΓa Vergara Wore a Boob-Window Dress For Date Night, and I’m Inspired

    [ad_1]

After announcing that she would be divorcing Joe Manganiello after seven years of marriage, Sofia Vergara has jumped headfirst back into the dating game with some sultry looks that have all eyes on her. And seeing her latest party-ready outfit, I’m getting some major inspiration for the holidays that lies ahead. Vergara’s latest look was a head-turning bright red dress with a revealing slit down her chest that showed off a sliver of cleavage in an otherwise covered-up silhouette. It’s a balance of modesty and boldness that I personally find hard to maintain but Vergara does it seamlessly so I’ll be adding her to my holiday-style mood board.

Vergara’s statement-making Victoria Beckham dress is ankle length with an asymmetric hem. With slightly belled sleeves, it boasts a crew-cut neckline, giving way to a leaf-shaped slit that travels from shoulder to bust. She styled the look with metallic platform heels and kept her makeup natural with her hair parted in the middle and flowing down her back.

For this latest outing with her rumored beau, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Justin Saliman, Vergara wore a boob-window trend that has actually been seen on countless celebrities as of late. Back in January, Lori Harvey wore a black sleeveless dress boasting the cutout design flourish, followed by Florence Pugh, Kendall Jenner, and more. When it comes to celebrity style, we’re always on the hunt for a look that perfectly balances revealing details with more modest shapes and this new look is a trend that does just that.

Ahead, get a closer look at Vergara’s latest date-night outfit.

Halloween might have come and gone, but Kendall Jenner channeled a true icon with a look that you can (and should) wear long after All Hallow’s Eve. Dressing as Marilyn Monroe, Jenner chose a slim black turtleneck from Intimissimi. Though many choose to pay homage to Monroe by wearing her famous white halter dress, Jenner looked to another one of the late icon’s outfits by recreating Monroe’s “Life” magazine shoot from 1953, photographed by Alfred Eisenstaedt.

In an Instagram carousel captioned “happy birthday mister president,” Jenner wore a blonde wig, custom diamond drop earrings from Costolo Studio, and fashioned her makeup nearly exactly like the retro bombshell used to, winged eyes and all. Though only barely visible in one Instagram shot, the model styled the classic top with a pair of bright white pixie pants.

Just last March, Jenner wore a boatneck top from the same lingerie design house; her look went viral and completely sold out, so it’s a sure bet that you should shop this turtleneck look now, before you miss your chance.

Keep scrolling to check out Jenner’s classic Halloween look and shop not only her exact Intimissimi black turtleneck, but also others quite similar. Whether you’re looking to channel Monroe, Jenner, or simply shopping for a great cold-weather layer as the temperature begins to drop, you’re bound to find something that works ahead.

Hailey Bieber staged an epic Halloween costume this year, channeling Carmen Electra’s Drew Decker from the 2000 film “Scary Movie.” Wearing a white lace underwire bra and matching briefs, Bieber posed like Electra did in the unforgettable scene when she was running for her life, being chased through a garden by the movie’s villain. Bieber took to Instagram to share a series of images, captioning the post “SCARY MOVIE πŸ‘»πŸ‘»πŸ‘»β€ΌοΈ”

Within the carousel, Bieber recreated Electra’s “Scary Movie” look, wearing a white ribbed V-neck cardigan and holding a phone to her ear. Her makeup channels the lustrous trends of the retro decade, with her shoulder-length blond hair perfectly swept in toward her chin.

Though Bieber’s scantily-clad Halloween costume might have been a near-perfect representation of Electra’s early-aughts character, the bra and brief set actually work quite well for everyday wear. And Bieber has made it particularly easy to snag her look, as she tapped Victoria’s Secret to custom make her bright white set.

Bieber’s look is, for now, one-of-a-kind but shop a similar look from Victoria’s Secret, along with other beloved lingerie brands that allow you to steal this iconic style. Ahead, check out Hailey Bieber’s “Scary Movie” style, and shop the look for yourself to wear well after Halloween has come and gone.

6 Spring and Summer Fashion Trends to Know, Straight From NYFW

    [ad_1]

For spring 2024 fashion trends, designers are focused on balancing polished and classic silhouettes with daring and skin-baring details. And, though New York Fashion Week runways were showing looks that will not hit stores until six months from now, there are spring and summer fashion trends for 2024 you can start wearing immediately β€” even as the current season begins to turn into crisp fall.

Models graced countless catwalks at NYFW debuting flowing black tie skirts, pencil silhouettes, tailored suiting, and more β€” all crafted in unique and head-turning ways. Staud was a standout when it came to saturated pastel slip skirts, mastering two trends in one. Carolina Herrera took classic and timeless silhouettes and designed sheath dresses of sheer guipure lace, slip skirts in Barbiecore pink, and minidresses with a nod to mod style. Alejandro Alonso Rojas expanded upon her trademark knit crochet textures with silk slip dresses, suiting sets, and fringe detailing that all effortlessly took on lives of their own with the slightest bit of movement.

The color of the spring 2024 season? A vibrant shade of lilac. And suiting sets reigned supreme in bright white and soft cream tones. Nostalgia is still a key factor of dressing for spring, as trends of the past are back by way of ’90s slip skirts and ’60s mod silhouettes.

While you explore the spring fashion trends for 2024 that have emerged from New York Fashion Week this season, keep an eye out for three more cities chock-full with designer shows, street style stars, and more as the fashion set move on to London, Milan, and Paris.

Lori Harvey Pairs Her Micro Mini With a Dramatic Scarf Trailing on the Floor

    [ad_1]

There’s nothing quite like Fashion Week to kick off the season in style with a whole new set of trends to watch. And, while summer might have come to an unofficial close as of Labor Day, the New York City heatwave has kept celebrities and editors alike stepping out in their finest warm-weather attire β€” and we are here for it. On Friday, Sept. 8, Prabal Gurung hosted his Spring 2024 show with Lori Harvey sitting front row, wearing a colorfully printed knit mini dress with an integrated cape, posing in the rain for the camera snaps before heading in to sit front row beneath a clear bubble umbrella.

Crafted of teal and black, Harvey’s micro-mini silhouette was the perfect piece for the transitional season, as it was knit of a lofty weave yet still showing a healthy amount of skin. With the addition of a fringed scarf designed to be draped across her frame and pooling on the concrete beneath her feet, the look had everyone looking toward colder days ahead as well. As Harvey’s outfit was pulled straight from the Fall 2023 collection Gurung presented back in February of this year, it’s likely to be readily available for all to purchase shortly, although not quite yet.

For Spring 2024, Gurung presented a collection inspired by his own family’s journey to the city a quarter of a century ago and what that meant for the integration of cultures. In a press release, the designer explained, “In the spirit of my aunts’ journey as immigrants in 1980s New York City, who once struggled to balance their roots with the demands of the Western world, serve as a poignant symbol. Their story inspired me to imagine the reverseβ€”instead, envisioning someone traveling from West to the East, embarking on a voyage, shedding the obligations of Western norms, unraveling of her own beliefs as she discovers and embraces the wisdom of her new world in the East.”

Rife with saturated pastels, bold prints, metallic materials, and embroidered details, this latest collection is one that finds the balance between the romantic and the bold; the new and the old; and the everyday with the luxe.

  • Zendaya’s Sparkly Black Minidress Has More Than 30 Cutouts

Zendaya’s Sparkly Black Minidress Has More Than 30 Cutouts

    [ad_1]

Zendaya stuns on the September 2023 cover of Elle magazine, sharing all things style, dating, music, and more. Whether for a cocktail event or an award show red carpet, all eyes are on Zendaya when she steps into view β€” and she enjoys participating in fashion. The superstar usually collaborates on her outfits with the help of longtime stylist and image architect Law Roach, who also styled her shoot for Elle’s latest issue.

Throughout the shoot, Zendaya exclusively wears black, white, and red, posing on the roof of the Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. In one shot, she looks over her shoulder to show off a totally backless black gown by Dundas. In another, she stands on a platform in front of a pool, rocking a black minidress from Louis Vuitton with more than 30 cutouts. Other looks include a Sergio Hudson shirtdress, a red leather Alexander McQueen slit skirt and moto jacket, and a sheer Simone Perele bra worn underneath an open JW Anderson leather coat.

Roach and Zendaya first began working together in 2011, introduced by a mutual friend. He initially styled her for the 2011 Justin Bieber “Never Say Never” documentary premiere, and since then, the two have been inseparable. Of Roach, Zendaya shared: “I ride super hard for my team, especially for people I love. He’s involved in every fashion contract, everything I do. If I have an opportunity where he can come with me, he’s always going to be there. He’s always been my creative director in a sense, and he continues to fill that role, because it’s more than just clothes on a red carpet. It’s a bigger thing.” And while she says she is “angry at him to this day” about one of the first looks he styled back in 2012 β€” a flared-pants-and-striped-shirt outfit she counts among her worst ever β€” it clearly didn’t sour their relationship.

Though Zendaya has taken much of the summer off from public events, she recently slayed in a head-to-toe sequined look with a plunging neckline from Louis Vuitton in late June. Back in May, she kept it casual for a Lakers game date with Tom Holland in a white T-shirt and ’70s-style oversize frames. Later that same month, she drew inspiration from Old Hollywood style at the Bulgari High Jewelry Event in Venice.

Zaya Wade Looks Stunning in a Yellow Skirt Suit and Slingback Heels

    [ad_1]

Zaya Wade is certainly a fashion darling, and her relationship with Miu Miu is proof. The 16-year-old model and activist stars in the brand’s fall 2023 campaign, alongside luminaries like Emma Corrin and Ethel Cain. For the photo shoot, Wade wears a mustard-yellow skirt suit with an oversize jacket and a textured collar. The skirt falls at her knees and features a back slit. She completes the look with a gray cardigan, the Miu Miu Arcadie bag in brown, and slingback heels.

Photographed by ZoΓ« Ghertner, the campaign represents the space between. As Miu Miu explained in a press release, “the images occupy a place between real time and time to come, between transient, democratic spaces in shades of grey β€” an airport? a TV studio? β€” and the notion of movement everywhere and nowhere. The characters who inhabit this world are both outward- and inward-looking.” Against a gray backdrop, other campaign stars show off Miu Miu staples, including sheer skirts, minidresses, embellished briefs, and mini handbags.

Back in March, Wade wore a full Miu Miu look, complete with those controversial thong boots, which she completely pulled off, to the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles. The event was fresh on the heels of her runway debut in Miu Miu’s fall 2023 show during Paris Fashion Week.
