Fort Worth police released this 911 audio from a victim and witnesses who called about a kidnapping on Friday morning.
The victim said a man he was dating sped away with him in the back of a van.
Information from callers helped officers find the van and rescue the victim when the suspect was stopped while driving erratically on Interstate 30 in Dallas, police say.
Jail records identify the suspect as Takim Peden, 29, of Fort Worth. He faces charges including aggravated kidnapping with bodily injury.

“We’d never worked harder to make a record,” Dan Auerbach said of Ohio Players in a press statement. “It’s never taken us this long to make an album. We took our time and did it right.”
“What we wanted to accomplish with this record was make something that was fun,” Patrick Carney added. “And something that most bands 20 years into their career don’t make, which is an approachable, fun record that is also cool.”

Jay-Z and D’Angelo have released their new song with filmmaker and musician Jeymes Samuel, which is taken from Samuel’s new movie, The Book of Clarence. “I Want You Forever”—D’Angelo’s first widely available new song since 2019—is “nine minutes and 32 seconds of absolute soulful, biblical bliss,” the director said. Jay-Z co-produced the biblical comedy-drama, having worked with Samuel on 2021’s The Harder They Fall. The Book of Clarence is in cinemas today, starring Lakeith Stanfield in the titular role.
Another song on the soundtrack, “Hallelujah Heaven,” features Lil Wayne, Buju Banton, and Shabba Ranks. Doja Cat and Kodak Black are on the song “Jeezu.” Every song on the soundtrack—out now via Roc Nation—is credited to Jeymes Samuel himself. Samuel’s Book of Clarence score is also out now (via Milan Records).

“This album has taken a long time to make, and has seen the band go through a lot of ups and downs; maybe the most of any Ride album,” Ride singer Andy Bell said in a statement. “But it has seen us come through the process as a band in a good place, feeling able to shake off the past, and ready to celebrate the combined musical talents that brought us together in the first place.”

In a press release, Gallagher said, “I think John’s a top songwriter. Everyone always bangs on about him as a guitarist, but he’s a top songwriter too, man, no two ways about it as far as I’m concerned. There’s not enough of his music out there, whether it’s with the Roses or himself. It’s good to see him back writing songs and fucking good ones. The melodies are mega and then the guitars are a given. But I think even when you take all the fucking guitars off, you can play the songs all on acoustic and they’ll all still blow your mind.”
Squire added, “To me the most obvious take on ‘Just Another Rainbow’ is that it’s about disappointment, and the sentiment is that you never get what you really want,” adding that it’s “one of the most uplifting tracks we’ve made together, which is weird.”
Spawned from three songs that Squire sent Gallagher in 2022, the record came together at Squire’s studio in Macclesfield, before sessions in Los Angeles with producer and bassist Greg Kurstin and drummer Joey Waronker. Although this is Gallagher and Squire’s first single together, the guitarist joined Gallagher on stage at Knebworth Park in 2022 to do Oasis’ “Champagne Supernova.”

Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul have shared a new Christmas-themed cut titled “Hoho,” a re-work of their Topical Dancer track “Haha.” In addition to more bells in the mix, Adigéry adjusts the song’s spoken refrain to suit Santa: “Guess you had to be good.” Check it out below.
The duo shared a statement about the genesis of “Hoho”:
Hahahallelujah, we made a Christmas song! From “HAHA” to “HOHO”…What started off as a joke by Ollie (from Asa Moto) at Deewee, became a reality a day later. We reworked, “HAHA” and added new depths to it (such as bells) so you can blast it during your cozy Christmas dinners. Your grandmother will love it. We just saw great commercial opportunity in this brilliant idea. The goal is to finally throw Mariah Carey off her throne and to annoy generations to come!
After working together on 2019’s Zandoli EP, Pupul and Adigéry issued Topical Dancer, their full-length debut, in March 2022. Pupul recently announced that his first solo album, Letter to Yu, is due on March 8. He shared “Completely Half” from the LP after last year’s one-off single “Neon Buddha.”

“I can recall Jarad [Anthony Higgins aka Juice WRLD] playing Eminem’s music on repeat at home because he was a huge fan,” Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, said in a press release. “This is a bittersweet moment for me; I am happy that Jarad had a chance to make music with someone he admired and sad that he cannot be here to take in the moment; Jarad left us way too soon.”
Benny Blanco has made several songs with Juice WRLD: “Black & White,” “Roses,” “Graduation,” and “Real Shit,” the latter of which was released posthumously.
