Central Florida Defendant Sentenced in Attempted Murder Case

A Central Florida defendant was sentenced in an attempted murder case after shooting juveniles riding on an ATV.

This month, 66-year-old Michael Regalski was sentenced to 65 years in the Florida Department of Corrections after jurors found him guilty back in August.

Regalski was convicted of three counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder with a Firearm, one count of Shooting at an Occupied Vehicle, and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence. He was sentenced to 25 years on the first count, 20 years on the second, and 20 years on the third to be served consecutively.

“Today’s sentencing reaffirms the justice sought for the victims and their families involved in this case,” said Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney Bill Gladson. “The defendant’s dangerous actions in response to a minor annoyance led to a tragic and senseless act of violence that he will now have 65 years to reflect upon.”

The charges stem from an incident back in April of 2023, in which Citrus County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call for service regarding a shooting that had occurred.

When officials arrived on scene, they located an adult victim, along with two juvenile victims on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). The victims indicated they were riding on the vehicle in the area when they heard two loud noises and pulled over, thinking the vehicle was malfunctioning.

While stopped, one of the juveniles indicated they felt pain in their lower abdomen, and upon reaching down immediately observed they were bleeding. CCSO officials and other medical first responders were able to stabilize the juvenile, who was then airlifted to a hospital for treatment.

CCSO’s Major Crimes Detective Roscoe Watts responded to the scene to investigate. During this time, he made contact with Regalski, whose home was just south of where the incident occurred. According to Regalski, he had seen the ATV with the three victims pass by his property previously while he was outside his garage. He said he had prior issues with the utility vehicles passing by his property loudly at all hours of the night.

Regalski further admitted when he saw the vehicle passing by his property the last time, he fired his Glock 40-caliber handgun at the vehicle in an attempt to deter the rides from driving by his property. When questioned as to what he did after firing at the utility vehicle, Regalski stated he secured his firearm before entering his residence to wash his clothes and shower.

He then told Detective Watts after he showered, he viewed his home’s video surveillance camera footage of the incident. He claimed nothing was captured on the footage, but still decided to erase the footage after viewing it.

Assistant State Attorneys Kaitlyn Mannis and Blake Shore prosecuted this case.

  • A Philly Extreme Sports Emergency – Philadelphia Sports Nation

A Philly Extreme Sports Emergency – Philadelphia Sports Nation

ATV Riding Is An Extreme Sport. It’s Also Illegal in Philly.

It’s a clear, crisp, summer evening in Philly.

Visitors and citizens of one of America’s most historic cities are enjoying the best of summer weekends in Center City.

Pedestrians are enjoying a walk around Center City. Restaurants and bars are crowded with people trying to take in a warm summer evening in the City that includes shopping, dining, and nightlife.

Suddenly, the night air is pierced with a roar of ATV engines speeding down Broad Street. Riders go around cars at stop lights, ride up onto curbs, and accelerate down the streets that once accommodated horses and carriages in the days of the American Revolution.

There are many places in Pennsylvania where ATV riding is legal.

Philadelphia’s streets are not one of them. The vehicles were made illegal in the City in 2022.

On Tuesday night, a Philadelphia Police Officer was struck by an ATV around 7:15 p.m. The crash happened near the Packer Avenue off-ramp on Interstate 95 North.

In February of 2023, dozens of ATV’s swarmed North Broad Street.

In Pennsylvania, each ATV must have registration and a title. You must have a numbered plate on the ATV and be at least eight years of age when operating on Pennsylvania state-land. Almost all ATV bikes are illegal to ride in Philadelphia.

Each ATV has an average cost between $6,000.00 and $16,000.00.

In response to incidents like these in the City, the Philadelphia Police have formed the ATV Dirt Bike Detail in order to combat he threat. To date in 2024, the Detail has recovered 75 illegal ATV’s, dirt bikes, and off-road vehicles.

Today, Enduro and Quadcross Racing Sections of Racing Clubs are quite common in Britain and the US. Both GNCC Racing and the ATV National Motocross Championship were both formed in the 1980s. ATVMX averages 500 riders in each weekend of competition.

The street that ATV’s cruise down were first imagined when surveyor Thomas Holme planned Philadelphia at the direction of William Penn in 1682.

It was Broad Street — one of the first streets that was named in Philadelphia actually had a terminus in what then was 17th century wilderness.

It remains today the longest urban boulevards in the entire US.

On Broad Street, the ATV engines and police sirens have faded into the far-away night air.

Until the next time that extreme sports takes control of Philadelphia’s streets.

Bruised & Bloodied Cassie IG Photo Resurfaces Amid Diddy Abuse Claims! What REALLY Happened?! – Perez Hilton

    [Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Oh no… Oh god no… This is so brutal…

On Thursday, Cassie filed a shocking lawsuit against her famous ex Diddy, claiming he abused her for over a decade. The singer, born Casandra Ventura, said the music mogul would abuse her and then hide her from the public. The suit reads:

“Throughout their relationship Mr. Combs was prone to uncontrollable rage, and frequently beat Ms. Ventura savagely.”

He would then, the suit goes on to claim, put his battered GF up in a hotel somewhere nice for a week, sweeping it all under the rug — and she’d come out showing none of the damage:

“After every instance in which he beat Ms. Ventura, Mr. Combs used his money and power to orchestrate extensive efforts to hide the evidence of his abuse, including by hiding Ms. Ventura in hotels for days at a time to let her bruises heal.”

But at least one time we have seen Cassie with her face all bloodied and bruised.

Video: Diddy FORCED Cassie To Shave Her Head?! Wild Story Resurfaces After Abuse Allegations!

In the hours since her lawsuit went public, tons of old interviews and stories about Diddy have resurfaced. But this may be the most compelling image we’ve seen. Cassie posted a photo on her Instagram back in 2014, showing off her face with a huge cut on her forehead and a fat lip.

The caption of the since-deleted post was chipper enough, as she showed off her sunglasses:

“New #raybans on my way home #toomuchfun #Dubai”

But the image… See for yourself.

As mentioned, the photo has been long since deleted, apparently pretty quickly after it went up. We can tell it’s real because of coverage at the time — but the post itself was gone FAST. Thankfully some fan managed to screengrab it. Because it may end up being evidence…

So why didn’t anyone accuse Diddy at the time? Well, looking back, the story going around was that Cassie had gotten herself banged up in an ATV accident while partying in Dubai. But was that just a story? Another way Diddy covered it up? Because too many people saw her??

If so, how interesting that Cassie even posted the pic. If this really was evidence of abuse, and not an ATV crash, this could have been a cry for help. Cassie sending up a flare for someone to see… and no one noticed??

    Heartbreaking to think about.
