  • Robert Irwin Wins ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34

Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson claimed the Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing With the Stars Season 34, marking a decade-long family tradition, while the season was also marked by dramatic exits and nostalgic moments.

For the Irwin family, winning the Mirrorball has officially become a tradition.

On the 34th season finale of Dancing With the Stars on Nov. 25, Australian and wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin stepped onto the ballroom floor one last time with his partner Witney Carson and freestyled their way to the Mirrorball Trophy, exactly ten years after his sister Bindi Irwin did the same.

“My sister said it best: Thank you for changing my life”, said Irwin after the show announced they had won. “Honestly, I feel like I already won with him as my friend,” Carson added.

The 21-year-old son of late legend Steve Irwin had been a fan favorite from the very beginning of this season. But for Irwin, this win wasn’t just about technique, timing or fan votes; it was more personal.

Throughout the competition, and especially during his final performances, Irwin carried with him quiet tributes to his father. Hidden in plain sight were two keepsakes, one being a well-worn button-down shirt and a ring that was crafted from keys to the Irwin family’s childhood home. Irwin said before the semifinals that he wore his dad’s shirt every Tuesday as a good luck token and wore the ring every performance day.

“These two things are a way to keep me close to home and to what’s most important to me,” said Irwin on his social media. “I’ve always done that dance at least once in Dad’s shirt… it just feels like a big hug.”

The road to the finale was anything but easy for Irwin. Finalists Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, Joran Chiles and Ezra Sosa, Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Berten rounded out the top five spots. Earlier in the season, viewers also watched performances for stars like Corey Feldman, Lauren Jauregui, Hilaria Baldwin, Scott Hoying, Danielle Fishel, Andy Richter, and Whitney Leavitt, who exited after a surprisingly dramatic semifinal elimination.

Richter shared his thoughts on the season’s voting trends towards “The Secret Lives of Mormons” cast members. He defended Leavitt’s honor after what he called her “insane” exit from the show.

“There’s a whole soap opera going on adjacent to this show online,” Richter said to Entertainment Weekly in an interview posted on Nov. 19. “It’s a good way to sort of take the temperature of what the audience is feeling in terms of voting. I’ve seen forever, there’s like people just like, ‘Whitney’s gotta go,’ and I’m just like, ‘What? Why?’”

While many fans agreed with Leavitt’s departure, one week prior, she had stunned viewers with her portrayal of Roxie Hart in an Argentine Tango performance of the “Cell Block Tango” from the musical Chicago.

As for the season itself, it leaned all the way into nostalgia.

Former pros Kym Johnson-Herjavec and Cheryl Burke returned as guest judges, and former host Tom Bergeron made a special appearance during a celebratory episode that honored the show’s 20th anniversary. Original dancers shared the spotlight with familiar faces like Xochitl Gomez and Ariana Madix, turning the ballroom into a time capsule with two decades’ worth of television history.

With a season full of great performances and stories, it was Irwin’s quiet authenticity and the presence of his father that left the most lasting impression. The Irwin family has spun DWTS into a perfect circle and took the Mirrorball home once again.

  • Katie Maloney Claps Back at Scheana Shay for Calling Her “Low” and “Forgettable,” Shades Her Past Demotion and Slams Her Criticism of Ariana Madix

    Credit: Instagram

Katie Maloney is speaking out against Scheana Shay after her former Vanderpump Rules co-star suggested she was “low” for going on Brock Davieswedding trip to Mexico uninvited in an effort to get paid in her newly released book, My Good Side.

As she also called out Scheana, who additionally suggested she was “forgettable,” for shading Ariana Madix, 40, for not reaching out to her after learning Brock had cheated, Katie, 38, denied that she went to Mexico to ensure her episodic paycheck, reminded Scheana, 40, of her past demotion, and demanded she “leave [her name] out of [her] goddamn mouth.”

“I didn’t want to talk about this because at the end of the day, talking about something and saying you don’t care about it is a bit of like an oxymoron. So I don’t want to confuse the fact that I don’t really care, but I also just feel like, you know what? It’s time. It’s f*cking time,” Katie began on the September 10 episode of Disrespectfully.

In addition to noting that she’d been told that Scheana referred to her “as a drunk” throughout her book, Katie said she was put off to learn that Scheana, who now appears on The Valley, had accused her of reaching a new low for a cast member by traveling to Mexico.

“It wasn’t because I [wanted] to get paid or I’d miss out. They were gonna have to film me regardless of whether I was in Mexico. I was paid per episode, so I was getting that episode no matter what,” she clarified.

According to Katie, Scheana had been panicking “for months … because Bravo told her that they were not going to film her wedding.”

“They did not want to film her wedding, but everyone was going. And I know production was freaking out because like, half the cast was gonna be there, and what were they going to do? Were they gonna have to ask some people to stay back?” she recalled.

Because she and Scheana were having drama at the time, producers ultimately decided it would be good for the show to film with Katie in Mexico and sold Bravo on the idea of “two trips.”

Although Katie didn’t want to go and “be around a bunch of people [she] can’t stand,” she was told by a producer that she had to go during the car ride home from Lake Havasu.

“[Lala Kent] was in the car with me when she told me this, if she wants to corroborate,” she noted.

While Katie could have told Scheana this long ago, she didn’t want to betray her producers.

“I am good at my job. I don’t speak about this sh*t. I don’t spoil behind-the-scenes stuff. I don’t make producers’ lives hard. That’s why I’ve never been demoted, unlike Scheana,” she declared.

Moving on to Scheana’s recent appearance on Gia Giudice‘s podcast, Katie slammed her as “b*tchy.”

“I’m forgettable? Go on, girl. I don’t care,” she said. “She was talking about how she wasn’t gonna send me her book. I don’t want your book. You asked me for my address last year to send me some bullsh*t in the mail. I don’t want you to know where I live. I’ve actively put you out of my life on purpose. So please stop talking about me.”

Katie then shaded Scheana for revealing that Ariana never reached out to her after she confirmed Brock’s affair in her book and suggesting she wasn’t there for her when she needed her.

“[Scheana] wanted Ariana to read her mind and just ask her if she was okay. She’s blaming Ariana for not telling her, but then giving her the f*cking third degree,” Katie noted.

  • Tom Sandoval Discusses Falling Out With Billie Lee, Slams Her for Telling People They Were Having a Kid, and Creating a False Narrative About Victoria, Plus Accuses Her of Using the “Trans Card” and Ridiculous Lies

Tom Sandoval Discusses Falling Out With Billie Lee, Slams Her for Telling People They Were Having a Kid, and Creating a False Narrative About Victoria, Plus Accuses Her of Using the “Trans Card” and Ridiculous Lies

Tom Sandoval opened up about his falling out with Billie Lee during Wednesday’s episode of his podcast.

Months after Billie blasted the 43-year-old Vanderpump Rules star and his girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, 32, in a series of podcast episodes and live Instagram appearances, accusing them of drug use and claiming Victoria disrespected Ariana Madix‘s belongings in her and Sandoval’s shared home, the couple is fighting back.

“We were close and good friends and it’s very sad,” Sandoval said of the end of his friendship with Billie on the October 23 episode of Everybody Loves Tom. “You feel like you trust somebody and you feel like you have a friend who’s open and honest and real with you and you find out this whole other side and it makes you sort of pull into your shell.”

Reflecting on Billie’s tangent against him and Victoria, Sandoval said her claims were “so frustrating” because they painted Victoria in a negative light.

“It’s so f*cked up for her to create this character,” he stated.

“I haven’t even been able to speak and she’s already created a narrative of who I am,” Victoria agreed. “It’s like, ‘Nobody knows you but I’m going to paint the narrative of who you are.’ And that’s the first thing that everyone hears … [But] I’m not gonna let some person that’s hurting on the inside, or whatever’s going on with her, paint the narrative of my life and who I am because that’s not who I am.”

Although Billie suggested that Victoria was a drug user, Victoria said she’s simply a woman who drinks socially, having drinks at events and, of course, Sandoval’s bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s.

Even Sandoval said that he’s been doing much less socially than he has in the past.

“In like 20-plus years, this is the least that I’ve drank, gone out,” he shared. “I’m much more responsible and I think it took taking that eight months off of drinking. I needed a reset. I never planned on never drinking again. I was just taking a break.”

Looking back on the moments that followed the reveal of his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 30, Sandoval recalled Billie initially being Team Ariana before contacting him and helping him around their home.

He then said that she lied about having to give up friends and having lost friends due to their closeness.

“She didn’t lose any friends. People in general were always a little scared of Billie because she would use the trans card,” he explained, giving a nod to her past claims about Jax Taylor, 45, and Bravo.

As Sandoval grew closer to Billie on the heels of “Scandoval,” she propositioned him about being a sperm donor for her potential child. And, at the time, he told her he “would consider” the idea.

In the months that followed, Sandoval began dating Victoria and learned that Billie had been telling people that they were having a child together.

“It freaked me the f*ck out because I know how reactive Billie can get. This is somebody who has been close to me during this time, who can sell stories and get blah, blah, blah. [So] I’m scared of what she might f*cking say,” Sandoval admitted.

After then telling Billie that she wasn’t ready for a child due to her financial position, Sandoval and Victoria began to notice that Billie was creating drama between the two of them.

It became very invasive and where the falling out came from, I’m hearing all these things being said about me to my friends,” Sandoval explained. “She reached out to my friends and said, ‘You haven’t seen Tom lately because he’s drinking every day.’ It’s like, f*cking ridiculous. I don’t do drugs recreationally. I don’t do that shit. Music festivals, yeah, mushroom trip every once in a while but I don’t do that sh*t and I sure as f*ck ain’t dating somebody who’s doing that either because we wouldn’t vibe then,”

“We found out there were a lot of lies, and we found out they were all coming from her,” he added.

Vanderpump Rules is on pause ahead of season 12.

  • Rachel Leviss Calls Out Ariana Madix for Dehumanizing Her at ’Pump Rules’ Reunion & ‘Propelling More Death Threats’ Amid Scandoval, Says She’s Had 2 Run-ins With Scheana, and Shares What Tom Sandoval Does That’s “Gross”

Rachel Leviss Calls Out Ariana Madix for Dehumanizing Her at ’Pump Rules’ Reunion & ‘Propelling More Death Threats’ Amid Scandoval, Says She’s Had 2 Run-ins With Scheana, and Shares What Tom Sandoval Does That’s “Gross”

Rachel “Raquel” Leviss called out Ariana Madix for her behavior at the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion on the latest episode of her podcast.

After sharing that she was happy to see that the scandal surrounding her and Tom Sandoval‘s affair had launched Ariana’s career, Raquel, 30, shaded Ariana’s character, revealed if she’s hoping to reconcile with Scheana Shay, 39, and shared something “gross” about Tom, 42.

“I think the part that irks me the most is the way that [Ariana] went out of her way to dehumanize me at the reunion,” Raquel shared of “Scandoval” on the September 17 episode of Rachel Goes Rogue. “It really propelled more hate my way and death threats and things that were not necessary, because I already had a lot of shame surrounding it and a lot of people shaming me already.”

“It’s very telling to her character,” she added.

Still, despite her criticism, Rachel praised Ariana for her success since the scandal.

“Honestly, I’m really happy Ariana is living out her dreams. She always wanted to be on Broadway,” said Rachel. “She’s always been obsessed with Love Island. So, the fact that she’s a host of Love Island is pretty epic. I’m just happy that Scandoval was able to really launch her in the direction that she’s always dreamed of.”

When a fan questioned whether she’d say, “Hi,” to Scheana if she ran into her, Raquel confirmed she’d already run into her “twice” before noting that she would not want to interact.

“I don’t have a desire to speak to her, and clearly, she doesn’t have a desire to speak to me. So that’s not going to happen,” she shared. “I just don’t think that there’s any type of conversation that I can even comprehend. There’s no point in having a productive conversation with somebody that you don’t want to have a friendship with anymore.”

“[I have] no desire to reconcile with Scheana,” she further clarified.

As for what’s “gross” about Sandoval, Raquel recalled her former flame sweating off his self-tanner.

“This may not come as a shock to all of you guys, but Tom Sandoval does love his Loving Tan self-tanner, and he will wear it and sweat it off, and he doesn’t care what it looks like when he sweats it off,” she revealed. “[It’s] just kind of gross and funny.”

Vanderpump Rules season 12 is expected to go into production sometime this fall.

  • Ariana Madix Praises Katie Maloney for Telling Tracy Tutor to “Shut Up” After MDL Star Applauded Lala and Suggested Ariana “Move on” From Vanderpump Rules to Better Things

Ariana Madix Praises Katie Maloney for Telling Tracy Tutor to “Shut Up” After MDL Star Applauded Lala and Suggested Ariana “Move on” From Vanderpump Rules to Better Things

    Credit: Bravo

Ariana Madix praised Katie Maloney for telling Tracy Tutor to “shut up” on Instagram after the Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles cast member suggested it was time for Ariana to move on from Vanderpump Rules.

After Tracy, 49, also praised Lala Kent, 33, stating that she “brought it” to season 11 while Ariana, 39, was seemingly unwilling, Katie, 37, shaded her fellow Bravolebrity as Ariana offered a response.

“You have a responsibility when you sign up for a show like this to show up and be accountable, vulnerable, and aware. And if there are certain people that aren’t willing to do that, then perhaps it’s time for them to make a decision to walk away from the show, or for the network to say, ‘You know what? If you can’t give anymore and you have all these boundaries that are now in place, then maybe it’s time for you to move on from the show,’” Tracy shared on the August 13 episode of the LadyGang podcast, via The Bravo Investigator on Instagram.

Although Tracy claimed she was “not speaking to anyone directly,” she acknowledged that her comments related to Ariana’s status on Pump Rules.

“I very much understand and relate to what Ariana has been through. I’ve been there myself. I totally get it. But maybe it’s no longer the best avenue for you and maybe it’s your time to say, like, ‘I’m signing off,’” she continued.

Moving on to Lala, Tracy felt that she delivered on her responsibilities as a reality star.

“She’s got a baby to raise. She’s going to have another one … She’s a single mom. And with all due respect, she brought it this season,” Tracy noted.

While Tracy didn’t seem to think that Ariana had brought enough to season 11, she admitted that it must have been tough for her to return to production so soon after learning that her then-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, 42, was having an affair with her former friend, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29.

“Ariana literally was cameras down for like 10 minutes to process what the f*ck she just went through on live, national television watched by millions and millions of people. And they were like … ‘We’re going to start shooting in three weeks,’” Tracy recalled. “Mind you, for all of us by the time it aired, it had been months. So, we’re like, ‘Get over it.’ She did live that. She had to put cameras up a month after the [show’s] finale. That must have been incredibly hard for her.”

“Perhaps, at this point, maybe she is ready to move on. She’s incredibly talented. She’s a gifted actress. That’s her wheelhouse. She can do other things,” Tracy suggested.

    But Katie didn’t agree.

After Taste of Reality shared a headline about Tracy’s comments on Instagram, she weighed in.

    “Shut up,” Katie stated.

And after seeing that her co-star and co-owner of Something About Her had clapped back at Tracy, Ariana praised Katie’s post with a post of her own.

    “Queen,” she deemed Katie.

Ann Maddox Says Hours at Ariana & Katie’s Restaurant Has Been Cut Back as She Asks for Support to Pay Rent, See Her Post and How Vanderpump Rules Fans Are Reacting

    Credit: Instagram

Ann Maddox has gotten her hours cut back at Something About Her.

After going to work for Ariana Madix, 39, and Katie Maloney, 37, at their sandwich shop after leaving her job as Tom Sandoval‘s assistant, Ann, who was featured on Vanderpump Rules season 11, shared a message on her Instagram Story about her hours as she requested help from her followers.

As they shared a screenshot of Ann’s message, The Bravo Objective noted that they found the cut odd considering Ann was a draw for fans.

“Well my hours got cut at the shop so I have no choice but to have this succeed … Please vote for my podcast so that we can get host read ads and pay my rent thank you!” Ann’s message said, along with a link to a survey where fans could vote for her podcastWe Signed an NDA.

Following the sharing of the post, several commenters admitted they didn’t feel that bad for Ann.

“She seems like an unhinged super fan. I said what I said,” one person stated.

“She needs that podcast now because who will hire her as a PA when she has proven she cannot be loyal?” asked another.

“Oh, I wonder if she’ll go work for the other partner who is suing Katie and Ariana now for her revenge like she did Tom. That seems to be [her] thing,” mentioned a third person, who signaled Penny Davidi‘s lawsuit against the Pump Rules cast member.

“I don’t even feel sorry for her, she was giving thirsty from the beginning,” added someone else.

But others pointed out that her hours being cut was a “shame” since Ann “added a lot to the atmosphere” and was “very upbeat and taking photos with anyone that asked.”

It was even mentioned that many other California restaurants had cut employees’ hours due to the state’s new wage law.

“Well when they have to pay their employees at a restaurant 20 an hour bc that the state’s new restaurant wage, yeah every restaurant has cut hours,” someone shared.

Ann’s cut comes just days after a job listing for Something About Her was shared on Reddit and met with criticism from users of the platform, who felt that Ariana and Katie weren’t paying enough to their staff.

The listing was for a part-time employee, Monday through Friday.

  • The Show Of The Summer: The Love Island USA Effect

The Show Of The Summer: The Love Island USA Effect

    For 11 seasons,
Love Island UK has become one of the most popular reality television series to date. The show’s premise is simple: a bunch of single men and women across the UK gather on an island somewhere in Spain and couple up to find love.

However, there are a few twists: every few days bombshells enter the villa to try and disrupt the connection, islanders get sent home by public votes at random, and the final couple left standing has to choose between love and money…splitting $100,000 or dumping their couple and keeping the money all to themselves.

Love Island was such the rage that it became a worldwide franchise…and because so many were streaming the UK version across the US and around the world, they created Love Island in the United States, Australia, and more.

    Sadly,
Love Island USA isn’t as successful as it was when it first launched. Originally set on a rooftop in Las Vegas, many viewers were put off because a rooftop is the furthest thing from a legitimate island. Besides, it lacked conflict and drama, there were no delish worldly accents, Love Island USA was overall lackluster.

Despite a prime spot on Netflix and celebrity host Sarah Hyland, the series was clearly struggling. Then, the show got a facelift.

Love Island USA moved to Peacock, rented a villa in Fiji, poached Ariana Madix from Vanderpump Rules, and dialed up the drama dial to 100. This season was cast perfectly, with a never-ending amount of snarkyness and toxicity, memes galore, and, most importantly: fresh pop culture members to fixate on.

Love Island USA is the most streamed original series in the United States this summer, with over 919.1 million minutes streamed as of the week of July 11. And for good reason.

Who are the Love Island USA Cast Members?

    @blunthousewife I’m starting to believe the theories he’s in it for The Plot #loveislansusa #loveislandusa2024 #loveislandcasaamor #robloveisland #robrausch #robsoveralls ♬ original sound – blunthousewife

This year, viewers were making the bold acclamation that
Love Island USA has got Love Island UK beat this year hands down. Although I was bored of the UK’s lack of any real drama, I finally made the switch after the millionth person asked me if I’ve been watching the US version.

I’d already heard who Rob Rausch was: the latest heartthrob who’s taking the world by storm…while inside the villa he had no idea that he was TikTok’s newest hyperfixation. But Rob wasn’t going viral on his good looks alone…his red flags were even more of a hot topic.

Viewers are obsessed with Rob’s relationship with OG islander Leah Kateb, who hails from Calabasas and looks vaguely like Kylie Jenner. Leah and Rob broke up because Rob wasn’t sexually attracted to her, and thus spawned a season of toxic fights.

Leah Kateb quickly became a fan favorite – partnering up with Miguel Harichi and giving us TikTok sounds to use all summer long. Then, there’s Serena Page,
who won the show alongside Kordell Beckham (yes, brother of NFL legend, Odell Beckham Jr).

Page and Kateb quickly joined up – as friends – with JaNa Craig, who eventually coupled up with Kenny Rodriguez. Then, there’s the tumultuous pairing of Aaron Evans and Kaylor Martin – whose continuous fights kept us entertained until the very end. Runners-up of the show included Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington.

There were many others along the way, but these are the finalists.

I can get bullied into watching a show quite easily, but I was resistant to taking on another
Love Island franchise. With upwards of 50 episodes in a season, it’s a commitment. You truly spend the summer with the islanders.

But I didn’t wanna be left out. Literally everyone I know was watching it and it’s all over my TikTok. I knew who the islanders really were and what the major drama was before starting in…but that didn’t mean it wasn’t a delicious watch.

It filled all the needs that old reality TV used to: it’s raunchy, vicious, tearful, and nonstop entertainment. There wasn’t a moment when the islanders had a chance to breathe. Every single episode something went wrong, and the world watched.

It became as common as hello to ask if someone has watched
Love Island US this week. If they’re Team Rob and Leah or Team Miguel and Leah.

    @thegr9sarah it WAS giving white woman scared 🥴🥴🥴🥴 #loveisland #loveislandusa #loveisland2024 #realitytv #realitytv #teamleah ♬ original sound – sarah 🙂 🇵🇸

And the ratings matched the hype. Thanks to the islanders who were willing to bare it all, the show was doing blockbuster numbers unseen before. And you feel the need to binge the show, you simply
had to discuss the episodes in real time or else it would be totally spoiled for you on social media.

Leah Kateb was the first islander to reach 1 million followers on Instagram, quickly followed by winner Serena Page. Brands have been flooding the comment section of the girls’ Instagrams to start working with them. Oh and, Rob Rausch was just in Nessa Barrett’s new music video as the love interest.

They’ve appeared on hit podcasts like
The Cancelled Podcast and Call Her Daddy, and they’re quickly solidifying their role as America’s sweethearts. People are even demanding that the network give this season’s islanders their own shows.

What’s refreshing about many of these budding starlets is that they’re willing to reveal their lives in full detail. They’re honest about who they are and what’s going on, so we trust them. Now, we can’t wait to see just what they’ll do next.

  • Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney Face Criticism Over ‘Something About Her’ Job Listing as Vanderpump Rules Fans Question the Employee Pay

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney Face Criticism Over ‘Something About Her’ Job Listing as Vanderpump Rules Fans Question the Employee Pay

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are under fire for the pay they are offering for a position at their sandwich shop, Something About Her.

After a job listing for a prep team member at the restaurant was shared on Reddit, revealing that the position started at just $21 per hour, fans slammed the Vanderpump Rules stars for the “abysmal” offer as they compared the ladies to Lisa Vanderpump, 63, who was previously accused of stiffing her restaurant employees.

In the Reddit posting, it was noted that the prep team position would receive paid training and an employee discount and that the employee would be expected to work part-time, between 15 to 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

looks like something about her is hiring!
    byu/Global_Picture432 invanderpumprules

Following the sharing of the post, one person pointed out that they lived in Dayton, Ohio, and said that a sandwich shop nearby was offering $24 per hour for a back-of-the-house position.

“The cost of living here is so much lower than [Los Angeles], it’s hard to fathom someone in LA making so little,” they noted.

Another person said the pay seemed low, unless they “also get tips.”

“And part-time hours so they do not have to offer benefits,” noted someone else.

Others pointed out that $21 per hour “is not enough for how busy [it is there]” and wondered how anyone could “survive” in Los Angeles on such a pay.

“I think employers should pay their workers a living wage/ fair wage,” one person stated.

“They do this to the little people? Naw, it’s unethical,” another agreed.

Some even suggested that they did not want to support the Pump Rules stars due to how they were treating “the little people.”

“Ariana and Katie are treating their workers as a commodity to be drained of value in order for them to get richer,” someone noted.

Several more Reddit users suggested they’d learned from “the master of not paying people (LVP).”

“LVP has been caught committing wage theft frequently over the years in order to build wealth for herself (and the execs at Bravo) who all profit enormously from these workplace-centered shows,” someone alleged.

“If you can’t afford to pay your employees a living wage (and this is not a living wage in LA) then you can’t afford to be in business,” another concluded.

Vanderpump Rules is currently on pause ahead of its 12th season.

Andy Cohen is speaking out about the potential recasting of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

While also addressing the drama between Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix, 38, and Lala Kent, 33, the Watch What Happens Live host, 56, hinted at “extensive casting,” reacted to the many RHONJ leaks, and admitted to seeing both sides of the Pump Rules feud.

“There was a lot of play with [the idea of a reboot] and I think the answer is — I was talking to a cast member about this today — we are gonna cross next season as that comes,” Andy revealed on the June 3 episode of SiriusXM Radio’s Reality Checked with Kiki Monique. “Right now, we’re just kind of focusing on, ‘Okay, well if we’re not doing a conventional reunion, what are we doing and what is something different that we could do?’”

Andy then signaled to the “extensive casting” of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which saw the exits of Kandi Burruss, 48, Sheree Whitfield, 54, Sanya Richards-Ross, 39, and Marlo Hampton, 48, after season 15, saying that he’s “so happy with what’s going on” with RHOA right now.

“Some things take time,” he explained. “We want to take a minute to figure things out. You know, there’s no point in rushing into something just to rush into something.”

As for the RHONJ leaks and drama surrounding certain fan accounts that have allegedly worked with certain cast members — allegedly Teresa Giudice, 52, and Jennifer Aydin, 47 — Andy said he “hates leaks”

“That’s what was so fun about that Reality Von Tease thing. It was like no one knew about it and it was just so fun as a viewer, so I hope that we can get into a vibe of not leaking,” he stated. “I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other and that’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.”

“I think that the cast on Jersey is so fed up with each other. There are teams of people against each other,” he continued, giving a nod to Teresa’s feud with Melissa Gorga, 45.

“So that’s our thing to solve for next season of Jersey and we can do it and we will figure it out,” he stated.

As for the backlash Lala received after questioning Ariana’s handling of her drama with Tom Sandoval, 41, particularly her refusal to film with him during the finale, Andy admitted he could see where she was coming from in wanting more from Ariana.

“When they broke the fourth wall, as a reality producer, I really respect what she was saying about ‘We are all on this show and this is doing our jobs,’” Andy told Us Weekly on May 30. “I think it’s one of those great arguments where I could see both sides.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.

  • Scheana Shay Shares What Ariana Madix Told Her After Reunion, & Addresses Drama With Lala, Plus She Suggests Producer Swayed Her Actions and Questions if LVP Guilt Tripped Her Into Friendship With Tom

Scheana Shay Shares What Ariana Madix Told Her After Reunion, & Addresses Drama With Lala, Plus She Suggests Producer Swayed Her Actions and Questions if LVP Guilt Tripped Her Into Friendship With Tom

    Credit: Instagram

Scheana Shay addressed feeling “differently” about Ariana Madix walking away from the Vanderpump Rules season finale and her reunion drama with Lala Kent. She also discussed her past convo with Lisa Vanderpump about Tom Sandoval’s mental health, and she suggests a producer swayed her actions after telling her the season wasn’t going well midway through filming.

During the finale, Ariana refused to speak to her ex Tom despite producers and castmates wanting to make a good episode. The move angered Lala, who ranted about Ariana’s decisions throughout the season. Scheana backed her up in the moment, though at the reunion Lala insinuated that Scheana wasn’t sharing her full thoughts.

Earlier in the season, Lisa approached Lala and Scheana about checking in on Tom, who had told her he was having suicidal thoughts. Due to Lisa’s attempt to help them understand, Lala and Scheana felt bad that their former friend was facing this alone.

On her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana shared that she feels “differently” about Ariana choosing to walk away at the finale.

While she understands why Lala “lost her s**t,” Scheana shared that Ariana’s decision was “real” for her, and she “respect[s]” that Ariana stood her ground.

“I feel like with Ariana walking away, after we filmed the reunion and all of that, I do feel a little differently. And this is where I get in trouble in this friend group because I live in the gray, and I always see both sides, completely understanding Lala being like, you know what, you still live in the house with him, you still are on a show with him, then you should film the season finale with him,” said Scheana. “Then I also understand Ariana being like, but this isn’t real, and we’re supposed to film our real lives.”

But the “frustrating thing” was feeling like the cast had to “walk on eggshells” all season.

According to Scheana, producer Alex Baskin said by mid-season the show was not in a good place, and certain things needed to happen or the season would be cut short and the show would be “canceled.”

“I know Alex Baskin has said that midseason, the show was not in a good place. It was you know, X,Y, and Z needs to happen, or we’re going to have a short season, and the show’s going to be canceled, and that’s it,” recalled Scheana. “I think Lala and I felt a lot of pressure after that day.”

Scheana felt pressure to make the show continue, not only for her family but also the crew of 80 to 100 people. She indicated that Ariana walked away in the finale as if she doesn’t “care if the show ends.”

Addressing her reunion drama with Lala, Scheana said there were so many “layers” of complexity given that she didn’t want her to feel alone, though she also understood Ariana’s side.

According to Scheana, Ariana approached her after the reunion wrapped, gave her a hug, and said “I love you.” Scheana then went into the dressing room to check on Lala, and they later played mini-golf with their families.

Though she and Lala are still “very close,” she hinted it’s going to be “tough to navigate” her friendship with Ariana in the future.

She then addressed her on-screen conversation with Lisa, who made her feel like Scheana would have “blood on [her] hands” if Tom “does something” while facing “suicidal” thoughts. She also felt that Lisa in a way was trying to guilt her into being friends with Tom again, as she knew the “heartstrings” she could “tug.”

“In a way, I think [Lisa] knew the heartstrings of mine she could tug on, and having lost a brother to suicide, having me lost someone very close to me from suicide, that is something I take extremely seriously,” shared Scheana. “And in that moment, I was like, okay, I don’t like what you’ve done to Ariana, but I also don’t want to see you dead.”

Scheana claimed Ariana wouldn’t tell her if she believed Tom was “suicidal,” and she didn’t help her figure out how to handle the situation. Because of this, Scheana had to “figure it out” for herself, and she decided to have more conversations with him to check in on him.

But Scheana claimed Tom had “ample opportunity” to have a conversation with Ariana before the season began filming, so she suggested that his attempts to talk to her on camera in the finale were too late.

Ariana Madix Shades Vanderpump Rules Producers for ‘Trapping’ Her at Reunion in Retaliation, Accuses Them of Trying to “Manufacture” Fake Scene, Plus Talks Criticism

Ariana Madix slammed producers for seemingly trapping her at the Vanderpump Rules reunion in retaliation for her refusing to film with Tom Sandoval during the finale.

While appearing on Katie Maloney, 37, and Dayna Kathan‘s podcast on Wednesday, Ariana, 38, accused producers of attempting to manipulate a fake scene between her and Sandoval, 41, while also reacting to criticism she’s received regarding her behavior at the reunion and dishing on her boyfriend, Daniel Wai, 40.

“They did not do what they thought they were gonna do,” Ariana began of producers on the May 29 episode of Disrespectfully. “You see me mouth, ‘What the f*ck,’ I think to Scheana, which was literally like, ‘Oh, so this is what they’re doing? Because when they emailed the episodes, they said, ‘You’ll notice that you don’t have da-da-da,’ but then they didn’t really say why, and so it felt like, honestly, it felt very pointed towards me.”

After denying Sandoval a conversation at the finale in San Diego, Ariana and her castmates were met with footage of the final moments of the finale during the taping of the reunion.

“It felt like, ‘Well we have her trapped in this room now, so we didn’t get what we wanted to get, this like, some sort of tearful … we didn’t get to break her down [in real life] in the moment so we’re gonna retaliate by doing this right now in a place where she’s contractually obligated to be here and try to force this moment now.’ And it’s like, ‘Great. I cried. You guys happy now?’”

According to Ariana, she “gave them the best f*cking ending to what that season could’ve had in that moment by leaving.”

“It was real and it was exciting to watch. Sorry. If you’re looking at it only from a perspective of like, ‘good reality TV,’ I gave you good reality TV,” she insisted, further targeting the series’ producers. “Standing there, this conversation that was like, being, this fake thing, manufactured thing that was like wanting to be had, would’ve been a boring cap to a boring a** season.”

“What did I not show you? I showed you my storage unit of a f*cking bedroom. If you watch the season and you don’t see how low I am during the whole time, you need glasses. I showed all of that stuff. If there’s stuff that they filmed and then decided not to air, that has nothing to do with me, but I gave it all,” she continued. “I even had to convince Dan to film FaceTimes. He’s like, ‘I don’t want to do that.’ I was like, ‘Well, please?’”

As for what her producers wanted out of her, Ariana compared her and Sandoval’s situation to his past drama with Miami girl, who he was accused of cheating with.

“They wanted the [Kristen Doute]-Miami conversation [re-done], like 2.0, but the tearful apology is the two seconds later — that’s why it’s never a thing because there is no … it’s like two seconds after that it turns on a dime so you can’t ever trust it anyway so what’s the point in having it?” she wondered.

Although some have criticized Ariana for not watching the entirety of the season before the reunion taping, suggesting that she would’ve given more emotion if she had, Ariana noted that she saw “plenty of clips online.” That said, she simply didn’t care to go tit-for-tat with her castmates.

“I went there, I flew in, stayed at Katie’s, and then literally got on a plane that night after the reunion to fly back and do two shows [on Broadway] the next day,” she recalled. “I was doing my best to show up, but at the same time, it was like, I don’t have that strong of feelings — I don’t think that would’ve changed anything about like how I responded to things because I also was, like, even if I feel deeply about something, which you do see me talk about things I felt strongly about. But other stuff, I’m like, ‘Am I really gonna sit there and correct every little lie, interject?’ No. I’m not gonna do that.”

“I’m at a point now, I feel like something that’s changed for me as a person is I’ve become a little bit like, ‘What you say about me, you can think that. I don’t care.’ It doesn’t change my life, or it doesn’t change who I am if you think that about me, especially if you’re not a part of my life on a day-to-day basis,” she continued. “So it’s like, I could sit there and I could correct it … but it’s like, for what? For who? Who would I be doing that for?”

As for claims that due to her romance with Dan, she shouldn’t have held such resentment toward Sandoval, Ariana clarified that her new relationship had nothing to do with what she went through.

“Being over that person romantically doesn’t mean you’re over the stuff that you went through — and still going through because I’m still having to deal with like, all of it. I haven’t been there since September and I’m still having to deal with it,” she shared, signaling to the fight over her and Sandoval’s $2 million home.

Vanderpump Rules is currently on pause ahead of its 12th season.

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney opened the doors to their new sandwich shop, Something About Her, on Wednesday, amid some technical issues — following months of delays and a soft opening earlier this month.

After droves of fans made their way to the Vanderpump Rules stars’ new business, which is located in West Hollywood, California, not far from TomTom and SUR Restaurant, new information about the venue was revealed as Ann Maddox‘s absence was pulled into question and a collaboration with Summer House cast members Kyle Cooke, 41, and Amanda Batula, 32, was confirmed.

In a video captured by the Vanderpumprulesparty Instagram page, Ariana announces the POS system (Point of Sale system) was having issues. “Our POS system has decided that today is the day that it wants to not work,” said Ariana to the crowd lined up outside.

Speaking of their experience on day one of Something About Her, Bravo Breaking News on Instagram shared that the POS system was working properly by the time they entered the restaurant, adding: “I got in line about 9:15am (45 minutes before opening) and was about 15th in line. They opened a little late (around 10:30) and rather than getting it to go, we waited for a table inside and sat down around 11:30.”

They also included a photo and screenshot of a video of the “MAJOR LINE” of people outside.

“Was Ann there?!” a fan asked the outlet during a Q&A later that day.

“ANN WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!! I also didn’t see her in any of the content from the soft openings,” the fan page replied, also asking with a hashtag, “Where is Ann?”

As Pump Rules fans well know, Ann, the former assistant of Tom Sandoval, 41, began working at Something About Her amid season 11.

Another person wondered, “How many seats are inside?”

And, with a pic of Katie’s mom, Teri Maloney, the outlet revealed, “There are literally [seven] tables (six 2 tops [and] one 4 top) inside. It is TINY! But very cute and quaint. But there is a huge park nearby if you have to take it to go!”

“Is there alcohol on the menu? Outdoor seating?” someone else asked.

“They have [Loverboy] and [Avaline] wine (my two faves). No liquor! And no outdoor seating as of yet … Katie said they are working on that!” they confirmed.

Following the opening, Katie returned home, where she took to her Instagram Story with a message of thanks to her fans and supporters.

“My heart is so f*cking full. I cannot say enough thanks to everyone that came out to support us today and waited in line at [Something About Her]. It means the world to me and [Ariana Madix],” she captioned a sleepy pic of herself.

Also on opening day, Something About Her and Kyle and Amanda’s Loverboy announced an exciting partnership.

“There’s just Something About Her… drinking a Loverboy … [Something About Her] is officially open and you can pair your new favorite sandwich with [a Loverboy] spritz or tea! Cheers to that,” the companies wrote in the caption of their joint post, which featured an image of Ariana, Katie, Amanda, and Kyle seated in a corner booth at the restaurant.

  • Vanderpump Rules Reunion Recap 2: Ariana Snaps at Lala for Not Respecting Her Boundaries, Schwartz is Slammed for Refusing to Admit Jo Relationship, and Sandoval Teases Dirt on James, as James Calls Him Out for Rolling His Eyes

Vanderpump Rules Reunion Recap 2: Ariana Snaps at Lala for Not Respecting Her Boundaries, Schwartz is Slammed for Refusing to Admit Jo Relationship, and Sandoval Teases Dirt on James, as James Calls Him Out for Rolling His Eyes

It’s part two of the Vanderpump Rules reunion.  Lala is still trying to understand things that have nothing to do with her and Katie is just mad…pretty much the whole time.  First it was Lala coming at her, then the Scheana/Schwartz make out gets brought up, and finally Jo comes out to try and speak her truth.  That doesn’t go so well, as Schwartz tries to gaslight Jo into thinking they were never a thing.  James jumps in at the very end, proving that maybe he’s the number one guy in the group.

Things are going GREAT for Lala and Katie so far.  Not… Lala is coming in hot, calling Katie out for acting differently off camera.  Lala reminds Katie that she had a lot to say about Ariana when the cameras were down, but when Lala tried to bring it up while filming, Katie wouldn’t bite.  Katie claims she chose not to talk about it because she was “over it” and didn’t want to make Ariana feel guilty.  And she was certainly not resentful towards Ariana, as Lala insinuates.

Schwartz points out that Katie was probably scared to not be #TeamAriana, but Ariana backs Katie by calling her 100% authentic. Ariana states that Katie is valid in her feelings and Lala just misses the Katie who would also be a truth teller, delivering facts and having uncomfortable conversations. Lala felt like Katie was treating her like the enemy, but believes they will be back to being good friends, even after this touchy conversation.  When Andy points out that Katie looks p*ssed, Lala retorts, “well, that’s standard….” And also an easy way to have Katie remain angry with you, Lala.

Because Katie was not mad enough, Andy decides to switch topics and bring up the make out session between Scheana and Schwartz.  To be clear, this happened YEARS ago, during a time when Katie HATED Scheana coming into the group.  Scheana buried this secret because the last thing in the world she wanted was to hurt Katie. Schwartz apologizes to Scheana for coming on to her and for being a “sloppy, drunken fool.”  If not for Scheana’s repressed memory of the evening coming to light during glamping, this would have stayed quiet.

Scheana stands by the fact that every guy in the group has hit on her.  James denies it.  Sandoval also denies it, however, Scheana’s got a LOT of details… Speaking of hook ups, Katie’s revenge bang with Max gets discussed.  Schwartz claims to have manifested this so he could show the world he was a bigger person in this kind of situation, but you know it’s killing him, since Max is his bff.  Katie plays coy when asked if she hooked up with Max a second time, so…she did?

The Lake Tahoe trip was NOT a “Sandoval redemption trip,” but rather a way to try to get the group together after the chaos of the past year.  Schwartz gets questioned for calling Ariana the queen of the group and Ariana believes that Schwartz is the ONLY person who thinks she has an ego.  Just wait til she sees Lala go off about this on the finale episode…

Ariana understands where Scheana was coming from this season as she struggled to be loyal to Ariana, but wanted to let Sandoval back in her life. Scheana desperately tries to show Ariana how much she means to her.  Ariana’s boundaries are a hot topic and Andy points out that Lala had boundaries in 2022 about communicating with her ex, so why was everyone giving Ariana such a hard time?

Lala says that the giant difference is that there was a child involved. Katie believes that Ariana is still allowed to have boundaries, but Lala doesn’t understand how Ariana can sleep in the same house as him, yet claim boundaries, especially after having a new boyfriend “10 days later.”  Ariana reminds Lala that she supported her boundaries and that Lala doesn’t have to understand her boundaries, but rather respect them.

The fan photo where Scheana has her arm around Sandoval gets brought up.  Ariana admits that she was slightly uncomfortable, but not as uncomfortable as Scheana was when Ariana didn’t tell her she was going to be on Dancing with the Stars (Scheana’s DREAM position).  Ariana says she remained tight-lipped because of production and she was afraid that if she told Scheana, she may have been over-heard. Andy makes a plug to have Scheana on DWTS and Scheana poo-poos it, as she has plans with her band…but maaaaybe next year.

Ally enters ready to read Andy’s chart, and Jo enters ready to be eaten alive by Katie. The whole Jo segment left me feeling uncomfortable, since Schwartz refuses to call what they had a relationship, when it very clearly was one.  Schwartz and Jo met through Kristen Doute, but it’s strange how they connected…and how Jo wound up crashing at Schwartz’s when she could have asked her FRIEND Kristen.

Schwartz states that it started platonically, but it evolved into a sexual relationship and refers to Jo as “an escape.” Katie actually felt bad for Jo because she saw her situation with Schwartz very differently. Schwartz claims he never texted Jo that he loved her, but he really did say he loved her because he cared about her.  Schwartz believes that he was transparent with Jo, but Katie believes that Schwartz was “displaying f*ck boy behavior.” Jo reaches for a tissue and nods as the girls talk about the disconnect. Jo points out that it’s sad to see there was a relationship and it’s even more sad that Schwartz refuses to use the word relationship when discussing their time together, opting for the word “magic” instead.

Schwartz was scared to put labels on what they were and Jo is hurt because she felt like Schwartz’s dirty secret, whereas he has hard-launched a new girlfriend now.  No one is sure what to make of Jo.  Ariana dislikes her because she believes Jo knew about Rachel and Sandoval and Katie, well, Katie makes her opinion very clear. Katie claims she was so mean about Jo because she didn’t trust her and claims she used “colorful descriptors” when talking about Jo. Katie tells Jo it’s not about her, but Katie behaved that way towards Jo because of all she was dealing with.  The last thing Katie needed was Jo…but that sounds like a Katie problem.

When it comes to James and Ally, they embrace the airport shade and embrace their role as parents to some cats and Hippie.  Speaking of Hippie, Rachel came out to say that the dog’s bad behavior was a result of how James treated her as a puppy, but James states that Hippie has transformed since being home with him.  Ally throws shade and says that the group hasn’t really inspired her to get married and have kids, despite James wanting it, like yesterday.

Lala has been sober for almost 5 ½ years and she thanks Andy for acknowledging her sobriety.  James hasn’t had a drink since April and Ally shares that she didn’t like who James was when he was drinking.  Ally actually moved out of the house for two nights (and no she did not crash at Schwartz’s) and states that if James were to start drinking again, she would leave.

According to Andy, the real star of VPR this season is Ann, Sandoval/Ariana’s assistant (no, it isn’t Summer Moon, much to Scheana’s chagrin).  Ann decided to work for Ariana because she wanted to work with and for other women.  Sandoval felt like he got kicked in his gut when this happened, but wastes no time throwing Ann under the bus when it came to “attempted dog murder.”  Sandoval states that it could have been him OR Ann who left Ariana’s bedroom door open, causing their dog to eat something and get very sick.

In Ariana’s eyes, there is no doubt that the dog stays with her in this break up.  After all, she purchased the dog.  This causes Sandoval to roll his eyes, setting off James.  James points out that Sandoval was fine when Rachel took Graham from him and wonders how Sandoval had no problem with that then and now here he is making a mockery of the situation.  Sandoval gets defensive, as he always does, and blurts out to James, “I’m keeping my mouth shut about the things I have heard” about him.  James tells Sandoval that he is “galloping so far ahead of you I can’t even see you.”  Touché, James.

Scheana Shay Reacts to Ariana Voting No on Pump Rules Return, Why Katie Hid Feelings From Ariana, and If Lala's Hypocritical, Plus Lala's Criticism of Ariana

    Credit: Instagram

Scheana Shay reacted to Ariana Madix allegedly voting “no” in a poll about Vanderpump Rules returning on Friday’s episode of her podcast.

Before answering a number of questions about Lala Kent, 33, including her potential hypocrisy and criticism of Ariana, 38, and her handling of “Scandoval,” Scheana, 39, shared why she believed Katie Maloney, 37, hid her feelings from Ariana, and suggested Ariana wasn’t being considerate of their co-stars in regard to season 12.

“As her friend, I fully support [Ariana] pursuing her dreams. I always have. I’ve said that multiple times. If VPR and reality TV no longer serve her, then onto the next thing. She’s going back to Broadway. She’s doing Love Island. She has so many amazing things lined up. I don’t even know what else is in the pipeline for her, but I’m sure many more amazing things. So if it’s time to move on, I completely get it,” Scheana began on the May 17 episode of Scheananigans.

She then shared her feelings as a castmate of Ariana’s.

“If this is true, it’s kind of frustrating that she would advocate for the end of a work project that, you know, is a big part of my business and what Lala and I as moms do to support our families,” she explained. “That’s what’s tricky, too, with this show, is our life is our job and our job is our life, and as a friend, I understand and respect boundaries. As your co-worker, there can be moments where it’s frustrating.”

In the screenshot below, Ariana is seemingly seen in the “No it’s done” side of a poll that asked, “Do you think there will be a season 12 of VPR?”

During recent episodes of Pump Rules, fans watched as Lala called out Katie for failing to be honest with her frustrations with Ariana to her face, all while venting about her behind closed doors.

In regard to the reason Katie would have done such a thing, Scheana described it as a “business decision” made for the sake of their sandwich shop, Something about Her.

“I think it was and has been a business decision for them to remain a united front. They’ve made a lot of money on Something About Her so I get not wanting to affect their business and I fully support that,” Scheana stated. “I know Lala said at the reunion she felt that Katie was being fake by acting one way on camera and different behind the scenes, but I think Katie was probably prioritizing her brand as she was probably making more from that than the show.”

“As a friend, I understand and respect the business decision, but again, as a co-worker, it’s frustrating when you’re not living your truth,” she continued, noting that when certain cast members show up and do the “uncomfortable stuff” and others don’t, it’s “frustrating.”

Because Lala had drawn such a line in the sand after her split from Randall Emmett, 53, many have felt that she was hypocritical for expecting interaction between Ariana and Tom Sandoval, 41, after their messy split.

“I think it’s different situations, honestly. Lala and Randall weren’t co-workers. If Randall had been on the show, I think it’d be a different story,” Scheana said in response.

As for Lala’s suggestion that she lives in the comments section of social media, Scheana denied that was true.

“I think it’s more the concept that I let public perception get to me as I really don’t spend a lot of time in the comments section,” she clarified. “I read the first 20 to 30 as those are usually people I follow and friends, and then I’ll see the next couple, but once there’s a negative one, I’m like, ‘Okay, let’s put this away.’ If I did fully live in the comment section, it would not be good for my mental health. Of course, I care when people are mad at me. I’m a people-pleaser as we know, but I’m also working on that.”

Also on the podcast, Scheana responded to a question from a fan who asked if she agreed with Lala that Ariana got cheated on and made that her “whole personality.”

“I don’t agree with that. If anyone has made it their personality, that would be more fitting of the other woman involved,” Scheana said, giving a nod to Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29.

Vanderpump Rules Reunion Recap: Lala Says Katie Complained About Ariana Off-Camera, & Exposes Her DM, Sandoval Calls Rachel a “Coward” & Ariana Admits to Not Watching Show; Plus Brock Gets Emotional Over His Kids

Vanderpump Rules Reunion Part 1: Sandoval Calls Rachel a "Coward" For Not Returning This Season; Ariana Admits to Not Watching the Show; Plus, Lala Calls Katie Out for Acting Differently Off Camera, Citing a DM and Claiming She Blamed Ariana For Restaurant DelaysIt’s part one of the season 11 Vanderpump Rules reunion.  This time around, there are no couches, only chairs, and there are no restraining orders, so luckily all parties can be on set at the same time.  However, that does NOT mean that Scandoval is a thing of the past.  In fact, the majority of this first part focuses on Rachel, Sandoval, and Ariana.  Where they’re living, who they’re living with, and just how quickly Ariana “dropped” Katie to head to Broadway.  Intent vs. impact seems to be the theme…

The reunion kicks off the way any great Bravo show does: 7 hours prior.  We viewers get a snippet of what’s to come and the fact that they will be watching the finale episode live, together, makes me cringe.   But that will have to wait.

For now, Andy is here to step in as mediator, since Ann, the infamous assistant of the season, is not available (Andy’s joke, not mine).  LVP realizes that there’s a lot to work out within the group, but Sandoval feels like he’s in a better space than last year.  According to Ariana and Katie, by the time the reunion airs, Something About Her will be open (but upon a quick Google search, that place still hasn’t opened its doors). In the meantime, Ariana is having the time of her life and Lala is prepping for the arrival of her baby by buying a house in the Valley.  Scheana and Brock have ALSO purchased a house in the Valley, which seems like insurance to get on another show in case VPR falls through…

Andy points out that during the season Sandoval and Ariana lived under the same roof.  Ariana has filed a petition action to forge the sale of the house, but she cannot talk about it as it is an ongoing legal issue.  Ariana is currently not living in the home and Schwartz is still on the fence about moving in with Sandoval. As everyone teases them about being grown up roommates, Sandoval is the only one not laughing about this and explains that his dad is in his 60’s and still has roomies.

When it comes to Rachel, LVP calls her absolutely ridiculous.  Sandoval wanted her to come to her own decision about returning to the show and Lala feels like they might’ve had a “productive conversation” should Rachel have come back.  However, Lala explains that she would not have changed how last year’s reunion went down, referring to the fierce loyalty to Ariana.

Sandoval calls Rachel a “coward” for not coming back, considering they both are responsible and he has chosen to face the truth.  Sandoval believes that the rumor that he groomed Rachel implies “pedophilia,” but Lala, who evidently has a LOT to say, disagrees with him.  Lala does admit to being a projector, but understands that Rachel’s lack of responsibility remains a big issue.  Sandoval reminds the group that they were equal partners in this affair and it’s wild that Rachel is now going after both him and Ariana with a revenge porn lawsuit. Sandoval admits that it’s one thing to go after him, but for Rachel to go after Ariana is a new level.

When it comes to suicidal ideations, Sandoval talks about the ups and downs.  Lala and Scheana feel like that might have played a role in why they chose to soften towards him, but Ariana remains stoic.  She doesn’t appreciate how Sandoval spoke publicly about her mental health.  Sandoval says that he felt as if Ariana used that as a “manipulation tactic” to keep him in the relationship, but no one is buying it.  Sandoval further claims that the reason he put Ariana’s issue out there on camera was because, “I didn’t believe it.”

Sandoval gets called out for comparing the affair to George Floyd and OJ Simpson.  He does his best to talk his way out of that, claiming that he simply meant that his affair should not have been as newsworthy as the important issues were.  Katie points out that Sandoval should think before he speaks because there’s something called “intent vs. impact.”  It doesn’t matter HOW Sandoval meant it because the impact of the statement is more important and long lasting.

Lala shares the exciting news that she is expecting a little girl with donor #1, the one they selected at the party.  Regarding her custody agreement, Lala gets emotional explaining how she has yet to reach one. Lala talks about how close she is with Randall’s first wife, Ambyr, and that although dating is on hold, “no man or woman is safe.”

Scheana talks a little about her post-partum OCD and the intrusive thoughts that come with it.  Because Lala, Scheana, and Brock feel like a throuple, Scheana admits to worrying that Lala and Brock could get together.  She blames this intrusive thought on Scandoval.

When it comes to Brock, he shares that he is up to date on his child support, but has yet to see his other children.  He is not sure how to move forward with them, but gets emotional talking about how Summer is his second chance at being a dad.  When Katie calls him an amazing father, that speaks volumes, considering she is a harsh critic.

Ariana has had herself a YEAR.  DWTS, a new cocktail book, a. new. man.  And then some.  Being on Broadway has been great for her relationship, as Dan lives in NY, but she still remains steadfast on being bicoastal.  Ariana states that it will take a long time to fully process the affair and so she refuses to put her life on hold while she tries to navigate the aftermath.

James gets a bit salty talking about the double-standard he faced when he moved on “quickly” with Ally.  Ariana, apparently, started dating Dan rather fast, yet no one gave her sh*t.  James claims to be over it, but it seems like it is very much still bothering him.

Speaking of relationships, Sandoval has a new girlfriend, Victoria.  She is a successful model who used to date Leonardo DiCaprio. Good thing she has never watched the show.  Does she know what she got herself into with this guy?!

After a decade, the doors of Pump were closed for good eight months earlier.  LVP has moved some stuff over to TomTom, and she claims that it was because of all the backlash that came after the affair. In truth, no one knew if the TomTom “brand” would survive the scandal…not even LVP.

LVP gets shady talking about Something About Her, claiming that the timeline for the restaurant was greatly affected by disagreements and Ariana continuously being away.  More on this topic later…

Ariana admits that she hasn’t watched any of the season because she didn’t want to get dragged back to a dark place.  She states that Lala has been transparent and Ariana understands that Lala was working through stuff herself, so there’s no beef there.  But, Katie and Lala did a lot of head butting this season.  Lala claims this tension stemmed from a DM that Katie sent her.  According to Lala, the DM said, “Get rid of your lawyer cuz what you need is a therapist.  You’re a f**king clown.”

Katie tries to clarify what she said, but Lala felt like Katie jumped down her throat. Katie wanted Lala to see herself in Ariana’s shoes and she didn’t appreciate how Lala tried to tell Ariana how to deal with the sh*t.  Lala explains that she felt “abandoned” by Katie and Katie wonders if it’s because she didn’t want to jump on the Tom train like Lala did.

Lala then goes on to make a big accusation: Katie acts differently off camera than on camera, saying things off camera that she then denies if brought up on camera.   For one, Lala claims that Katie said that Ariana abandoned their restaurant and that this time last year, Ariana was not caught up on the rent for the shop. Katie vehemently denies confiding about this stuff with Lala, but does admit that she didn’t get a heads up about Ariana heading to Broadway.

Lala states that her and Katie are supposed to be the truth tellers and that maybe Katie lived in the comments too much, trying to figure out how to play to the fans because “it’s no secret that Ariana is a fan favorite,” so no one wanted to go against her on camera. Lala also made this same claim about Scheana and James, suggesting they play to the audience.

Apparently, at some point, Katie lost it on Lala, threatening, “if you’re gonna f**k with my business Lala, then I’m gonna f**k with yours.”  To that, Lala retorts, “And honest to God I wanted to say you to Something About Her is really Nothing About Her,” a jab that Lala knew would cut deep.  Ariana looks on in confusion as this all unfolds…and it’s just part one.

Scheana Shay is opening up about her relationship with Ariana Madix after her husband, Brock Davies, suggested that Tom Sandoval has been a better friend to her on the finale episode of Vanderpump Rules.

As Lala Kent, 33, admitted that Ariana, 38, is “not a great friend” and James Kennedy, 32, defended his co-star, suggesting that she’s always supportive and quick to respond, Scheana, 39, admitted to being hurt by her dwindling friendship with Ariana as Brock explained why he felt that Sandoval, 41, has stepped up more with his wife.

“I think Brock hasn’t been long enough to make that fair of a judgment. Ariana has been an incredible friend to me … I think he was kind of wrong in saying that,” Scheana began on the May 7 episode of the Vanderpump Rules: After Show.  “I think it’s just maybe because Brock and Tom built their own friendship then maybe he saw more of the Tom side than the Ariana side.”

That said, Scheana confessed to feeling sad about the distance between her and Ariana.

“Over the last year, it has been less. She’s been [busier] and I understand that. [But] it hurts,” she shared.

According to Brock, he finds Scheana’s status with Ariana and Sandoval to be “complicated” due to Scheana’s past closeness to Sandoval.

“Scheana and Tom have this relationship where he was a big brother to her. He stepped up in her dark days, in her down days when she’s had bad days, Tom’s been there with no one else around,” he stated. “And the fact of the matter was, Tom is the guy that organizes the events, gets us together, and he brings us together. If we’re left to our own devices, Ariana’s busy, we’re busy, and that’s it.”

“We’re still friends but if you’re comparing, that person was always inviting us to do stuff,” he added. “[But] we’ll be fine. Time heals all wounds. Everyone’s thriving.”

In her own After Show segment, Lala also pointed to Scheana and Sandoval’s past as she criticized Ariana for not being a good friend.

“Sandoval has for many years made sure that Scheana’s good. Ariana’s not a great friend. If you’re looking for someone to ask you how you’re doing … she’s not the one,” Lala stated.

But James felt differently, saying, “I don’t experience Ariana not being a good communicator. If I text her, she texts me back right away and then she responds to pretty much all my Stories.”

“Maybe she’s just blowing Scheana off then,” Brock replied.

The three-part Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion begins Tuesday, May 14, at 8/7c on Bravo.

  • Most Shocking Moments on Vanderpump Rules

Most Shocking Moments on Vanderpump Rules

On Vanderpump Rules, it often feels like there are at least three major scandals vying for attention in each episode. The Bravo series always delivers the drama and we’re here for it.

While the scandals on the hit Bravo series may be stressful for the Sur staff, we must admit it makes for pretty great reality TV. From Nasty catfights to the notorious “Scandoval,” let’s take a look back at some of the most shocking bombshell moments throughout VPR.

Jax tells Stassi he got a woman pregnant in Vegas

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Wrong! At least not for Jax Taylor. The SUR bartender ended up breaking Stassi Schroeder’s heart after he confessed to his then-girlfriend that he had relations with another woman while on his trip.

Not only did he cheat on Stassi during his Vegas trip, but he ended up getting the woman pregnant. This moment led to Stassi and Jax’s official breakup and changed the show’s dynamic forever.

But Jax, who was still madly in love with Stassi long after their split, did everything he could to win her back.

Which leads to our next VPR scandal…

    Jax gets tattoos of Stassi

Jax was so eager to win Stassi back, that he got a tattoo with her name. Eek! While Stassi admitted during the Season 3 Reunion that she was happy to see her ex groveling and pining for her, she knew in her heart that she’d never get back with him.

The Season 3 Reunion continued to shock audiences when Jax revealed yet another tattoo dedicated to his ex-beau. On his upper arm- and it’s still there! – is a tat of Stassi’s face. Well, at least part of her face. According to Jax, the tattoo melds Stassi’s face and Carmen – his girlfriend at the time.

Hmm… to each their own, I guess?

Stassi slaps Kristen over her affair with Jax

Another outrageous moment in Vanderpump history was when we learned about Kristen’s affair with Jax. It was a major bombshell since Kristen was so good at lying to both Sandoval, Stassi, and the audience, all while insisting it never happened.

To add fuel to the fire, Stassi and Kristen were best friends at the time. Due to their insanely close friendship, it felt like the ultimate betrayal. And when Stassi and Kristen finally sat down to talk things out, it exploded into a vicious catfight.

Tom and Ariana get together, leaving Kristen in the dark

Before the notorious Scandoval occurred, Tom was caught up in another scandal that involved Ariana. Long-long ago, in a kingdom far-away called Season 1 and Season 2, Tom was in a long-term relationship with Kristen. While dating Kristen, he began spending more and more time with his “buddy” Ariana.

Because Tom and Ariana were so close, Kristen grew rather jealous. After confronting Tom about his relationship with Ariana, he insisted over and over again that they were merely friends. Yet, after Tom left Kristen to be in a relationship with Ariana, Kristen was devastated by such treachery.

She warned the pair that their relationship would end badly, because of how it began!

(Sips tea, side-eyeing Tom and Ariana.)

    James and Kristen’s wedding confrontation

Shortly after Kristen’s Sandoval heartbreak, she hopped into a relationship with DJ sensation, James Kennedy. Although they seemed like an odd match – considering their age gap and mismatched personalities – it’s safe to say James was smitten. When Kristen began to neglect this relationship, all hell broke loose. The final straw occurred at Scheana and Shay’s wedding when Kristen…wait-wait. You guessed it: Kristen went off with another guy. This led to a horrible fight between the couple, with Kristen ending it by outright punching James.

    Tequila Katie

When she’s not drunk, Katie comes across as the sweetest staff member at SUR. But as soon as she starts downing the tequila shots, the seemingly “innocent” one morphs into another person completely. She even has an alter ego for her drunken persona, whom she calls “Tequila Katie.”

Tequila Katie has done some malicious things in her day, from picking fights at birthday gatherings to verbally attacking Scheana merely for having some harmless fun.

Yet, the Tequila Katie persona recently landed her a nationwide commercial for Chili’s new Espresso Martini! Incidentally, in the ad, Katie emphasizes her love of tequila. Yep, that’s fitting!

    Katie and Tom Divorce

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz – aka TomKat – were a fan-favorite for many VPR fans. Sure, they’ve had their ups and downs (too many to count). But at the end of the day, there was a certain charm to their relationship which eventually led to marriage.

But according to Katie, she felt neglected, like she wasn’t a priority to Schwartz. In one heated argument, she emphasized how Tom defended his friends, but not his wife.

Fortunately, it seems like they’re on friendly terms now.

Jax cheats on Brittany with Faith

On Vanderpump Rules, Jax Taylor needs to cheat like fish need to swim. It’s just who he is. The SUR bartender cheats on every single woman he’s been in a relationship with. So it’s not exactly shocking when we learn he’s cheated on Brittany.

Only problem is he cheated on Brittany with her co-worker, Faith. While Brittany swore she was going to leave Jax after learning he’d cheated on her multiple times, the two worked it out. They even had a baby!

In 2024, after five years of marriage and nearly 10 years together, Jax and Brittany are separated.

    Too sad.

    Scandoval

And of course, we can’t include a list of Vanderpump Rules scandals without adding the infamous, legendary “Scandoval” to the list.

One of the most truly egregious moments in Vanderpump (or TV) history, was when fans learned of the affair between Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss. It came as such a surprise to audiences because Tom had been in a committed relationship with Ariana Madix for close to a decade. Viewers, who’d witnessed them evolve as a couple for years, felt a sense of second-hand betrayal.

To make matters worse, Sandoval had been cheating on Madix with Leviss for over six months.

While speaking on Hot Mic, the reality star spoke of what ignited his affair with Leviss. “I was lacking so much love,” Sandoval admitted. “I was yearning for it. ..I was yearning for that admiration in my life that I wasn’t getting. And so when I got it, it became intoxicating to me.”

Katie Maloney shaded Tom Sandoval and Jax Taylor over their interview for Watch What Happens Live, accusing them of “lying” as fans reacted.

During the episode, Tom shared his side of the story concerning the aftermath of his split with Ariana Madix – Katie’s good friend. Jax is also at odds with Katie after she spread rumors on Vanderpump Rules that he allegedly cheated on wife Brittany Cartwright.

On her Instagram Stories, Katie reacted to the interview.

She first asked her friend and podcast host Dayna Kathan for a comment.

“Liar!” said Dayna into the camera in a video shared by @tasteof_reality on Instagram. “Liars!”

“These men just be lying,” Katie agreed. “We’re watching Watch What Happens Live, in case you’re wondering.”

“Does anyone else have the cringe?” asked Dayna. “I have the cringe!”

Around the same time, Katie posted a photo of her Something About Her sandwich shop with its signage above the doors.

Katie and Ariana recently revealed that the sandwich shop will officially open on May 22.

Regarding Katie’s reaction to Jax and Tom’s interview, fans shared their thoughts in the comments.

“It was freaking painful to watch. I really only half listened as I stuffed my cheeks [with] junk food,” wrote one user.

“Of course they went on there to lie! That’s why they’re on together. To back up and not poke holes in each others lies. Period,” speculated another.

“Except when Jax called Scheana a good husband. That was accurate and hilarious,” said a different user.

Other fans were more critical of Katie.

“Stop being on a Reality TV show if you don’t want anyone (even if it’s that A**hat Jax) to comment on your life or choices,” expressed one. “Just go back to being yourself before Reality TV decided how you should be.”

“Katie Katie Katie.. its Katies way or highway.. ITS NOT YOUR HIGHWAY KATIE!! Exit left,” wrote a different viewer.

“Katie never has anything nice or positive to say,” said another.

  • ‘Vanderpump Rules’: The Chilling Season 11 Finale Seemingly Exposes Tom Sandoval’s Manipulation As Ariana Madix Refuses To Be Part Of His “Redemption” Arc

‘Vanderpump Rules’: The Chilling Season 11 Finale Seemingly Exposes Tom Sandoval’s Manipulation As Ariana Madix Refuses To Be Part Of His “Redemption” Arc

Spoiler Alert: This post contains details of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 finale, Episode 15 titled “Plot Twist.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 wrapped on Bravo and the finale offers a grim future about the friend group ever able to move forward.

This season started filming merely weeks after Ariana Madix discovered her long-time boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was having an affair with their best friend, Rachel Leviss. The cheating scandal made headlines and became a pop culture moment.

Without much time to process their new reality, the cast started filming again to capture the raw emotions over how the group could co-exist.

Madix set boundaries with her friends and Sandoval, although she remained living with him under the same roof and communicated with each other only through a personal assistant.

For Katie Maloney, it was an easy task as she stuck by Madix as she did not have a great relationship with Sandoval over the years.

However, other cast members like Scheana Shay, struggled to pick a side as she wanted to remain friends with Madix but couldn’t forget the friendship she and Sandoval had.

This brings us to the finale episode, which aired tonight on Bravo. The group is in San Francisco for an event thrown by Sandoval’s friend. For the event, Sandoval hires someone to assist Shay with her performance, which she is grateful for and reminds her what a loyal friend he has been over the years.

Lala Kent, who has been making slight digs at Madix throughout the season for not moving past her rage against Sandoval despite her endorsement deals and increasing job opportunities, explodes in the finale.

After Shay’s performance, Madix takes time to talk to and congratulate her. Shay’s intentions is to have Madix and Sandoval talk so he can apologize to her. However, when Sandoval approaches the two, Madix walks away as she doesn’t want to aid her ex in his redemption tour and the fourth wall breaks into a million little pieces.

“It’s about a performance for the audience,” Madix is heard saying to a show producer. “He wants 30 seconds with the audience.”

Madix reiterates this idea in her confessional, saying, “Whatever it is that Tom is trying to get from me is not for me, it’s for him. I am the final boss in his video game of redemption, and because he can’t get to the final boss, he’s f***ing pissed.”

Madix leaves the party with her new boyfriend, opting not to film with her boyfriend.

Sandoval calls Madix a “lazy a**” for not wanting to film with him. He then goes over to his co-stars, Shay and Kent, to tell them Madix “doesn’t f*** with you guys” and alleges “she f***ing talks sh** about all you.”

Kent jumps in and acknowledges that Sandoval cheated on Madix but “he didn’t kill anybody” and should be offered some grace.

“I have never in my life experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly she becomes God,” Kent says about Madix’s growing fame after the scandal.

In a confessional interview, Kent adds, “For Ariana to walk out this way, is just such a slap in the face.”

Kent conveys the idea that Madix is running away from uncomfortable situations, which is not fair to the rest of the cast, who have put their lives out there in front of cameras.

“I don’t feel that Tom and Ariana were ever honest about their relationship until Tom was caught cheating,” Kent adds. “And you think that you get to be honest for one moment, and then you get to pack it all away, and all is good. F*** that!”

The episode gets emotional as moments from the cast’s past confessional interviews are shown.

Maloney says, “Sometimes you have to stick to your f***ing boundaries if your peace is more important than that, then f***ing stand your ground.”

Madix points out that Sandoval has “never tried to talk to me off camera. He could’ve written something in a f***ing letter and left it on the kitchen counter, and I could’ve read it at my leisure. But if you would only do it on camera, to me, you just showed your true colors.”

As Madix and her boyfriend leave the party, a hot mic moment catches a producer saying, “That’s the end.”

Tom Schwartz then adds, “That was a f***ing plot twist.”

Sandoval laughs and says, “I love it. It’s good for me.”

That moment seemingly exposes Sandoval for being the manipulative person Madix says he is and only doing things on camera to make himself look good following the backlash from the cheating scandal.

The future of Vanderpump Rules is not entirely certain as production for Season 12 is reportedly on pause and the cast is on an extended hiatus for now.
