    The popular event, which is included with park admission, will take place every Saturday evening in February.

    At Beach Nights, guests can end a fun-filled day at the water park by watching their favorite movies while lounging in beach chairs.

    Popcorn, snacks, hot chocolate and more foods and beverages will be available to purchase at Kura’s Beachside Panini.

    Guests can also participate in activities before the movie, such as games like giant Connect Four and beach volleyball, along with interactive games and challenges with the Beach Patrol crew.

    Beach Nights Movie Lineup:

    • Feb. 1: “Frozen”
    • Feb. 8: “Zootopia”
    • Feb. 16: “Luca”
    • Feb. 22: “Sonic”

    A Premium Lounger Bundle is available for purchase, which offers reserved premium seating for two, along with a food and beverage package valued at over $55, according to Aquatica Orlando officials.

    The package includes two panini sandwiches of choice served directly to the lounger, two individual popcorns and two Aquatica souvenir light-up cups that come with free unlimited fountain drink refills for the evening, officials with the park said.

  • Runners gear up for Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

    LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend kicked off this week.

    Races include the 5K (3.1 miles) on Thursday at Epcot, the 10K (6.2 miles) on Friday at Epcot, the half marathon (13.1 miles) on Saturday at Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park, and the marathon (26.2 miles) on Sunday at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

    Additionally, runners can participate in the 20th anniversary of Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge, as well as the Dopey Challenge that consists of 48.6 miles across all four parks.

    The first race was met with chilly weather, which made its way through the Orlando area on Thursday morning.

    The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend gives runners an opportunity to take on marathons with a fun twist, as they are surrounded by their favorite Disney characters and entertainment.

    More than 30,000 runners are participating in the 32nd annual race weekend, according to Disney, adding that there are expected to be 47 runners who have participated in every Walt Disney World Marathon.

    All races are sold out this year, per the runDisney website.

    Here are additional details about each separately ticketed event, according to Disney World officials:

    Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

    At this festive event, guests can wander through Magic Kingdom Park with cookies and themed beverages, included in the ticket cost.

    Park goers can admire a “snowfall” on Main Street, U.S.A., seasonal decor and participate in holiday photos.

    Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade will also take place during the event, which features favorite Disney characters, dancing gingerbread men, marching toy soldiers and an appearance from Santa Claus. The parade is scheduled for each night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

    Guests can also look out for Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show each party night at 10 p.m., the Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show each party night at 7:40 p.m., 9:25 p.m., 10:35 p.m. and 11:55 p.m., festive character greetings, dance parties, holiday-themed merch and more.

    Event dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party:

    • November – 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29

    • December – 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 20

    The event takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight.

    Tickets for the event are $169 to $219 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by date).

    Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members are eligible to save $10 per ticket for the following event nights:

    • November – 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22

    • December – 1, 3, and 5

    Cast Members can also save on select nights.

    Disney Jollywood Nights

    This holiday party returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for its second season, featuring new and returning entertainment, along with more than 20 character experiences.

    At the event, which is five hours long, guests can experience attractions with lower wait times, photo opportunities, themed treats, snacks and beverages for purchase, and new this year — a Wonder made sweet treat included with the event ticket.

    Other new additions this year include the “Glisten!” skating show at 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:15 p.m. and 12:15 a.m., the Pixar Disco dance party, The Muppet Christmas Carol, new character experiences, merch featuring Ollie the jolly gingerbread and sightings of the Mandalorian at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

    The event takes place from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Ticketholders will be admitted to the park as early as 6 p.m. on the valid date of their ticket, according to Disney officials.

    Tickets for the event are $159 to $179 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by date). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to the event, and Cast Members can also save on select nights.

These iconic characters will continue to add to the galaxy of stories aboard Disney’s first Star Wars attraction.”

    Disney officials also stated that at Disneyland California, a ‘Season of the Force’ celebration will take place from April 5 through June 2. Guests can enjoy Hyperspace Mountain, themed food and drinks, merchandise and more. There will also be a new galactic fireworks show that can be seen from within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on select nights.
