Fighting Game ‘Art of Fighting 2’ ACA NeoGeo From SNK and Hamster Is Out Now on iOS and Android – TouchArcade

    [ad_1]

Last week, side-scrolling shooter Pulstar hit mobile platforms as the newest ACA NeoGeo series release from Hamster and SNK. Read Shaun’s review of it here. Today, fighting game Art of Fighting 2 has launched on iOS and Android. Art of Fighting 2 debuted in 1994 featuring 12 fighters competing in the King of Fighters ultimate fighting championship. It featured the Rage Gauge mechanic alongside weak and strong attacks with the recovery system. This is definitely one of my least favorite releases from SNK’s older fighters, but I’m still glad to see it be released on mobile for more people to try it. Check out a screenshot from the Android version of Art of Fighting 2 showcasing the on-screen buttons and gameplay below:

You can buy Art of Fighting 2 ACA NeoGeo on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here. As with prior releases on mobile, this costs half of what it does on consoles at $3.99. If you’ve not heard of the series or seen it in action on mobile yet, Shaun has reviewed most of the releases so far in the ACA NeoGeo series on iOS. Check out his reviews for Top Hunter Roddy & Cathy here, Samurai Shodown IV here, Alpha Mission II here, Metal Slug 5 here, Shock Troopers here, NAM-1975 here, ZED BLADE here, PUZZLED here, The King of Fighters 2002 here, Big Tournament Golf here, King of the Monsters here, Last Resort here, Aero Fighters 2 here, Burning Fight here, Robo Army here, Mutation Nation here, Twinkle Star Sprites here, and Aero Fighters 3 here. Check out the official website for the series on mobile here. What’s your favorite recent ACA NeoGeo release and are you grabbing today’s release?

Developer Hidden Variable pushed out a major update for Skullgirls Mobile (Free) a few hours ago. The version 5.2 update brings in Black Dahlia (before the console and PC game), Retakes, XP Treats, free gifts, and more. Since launch, Skullgirls Mobile has gotten a ton of support, and it is an absolute essential on any platform if you enjoy fighting games. I included it in our best fighting games to play on Steam Deck feature and continue to enjoy it on Steam Deck. Skullgirls Mobile will also be adding Marie next year. Check out the full patch notes for the update here for the massive list of changes and additions.

    skullgirls black dahlia

I’m still surprised that Black Dahlia arrived in the mobile game before Skullgirls 2nd Encore on PC and consoles. Skullgirls Mobile is available for free on iOS and Android right now. Skullgirls 2nd Encore is available on PC and all consoles with it arriving on Xbox soon. Following Black Dahlia’s launch, it is going to be interesting to see when Marie is released in the mobile game and also how updates and DLC are handled for the newer console releases that are planned to arrive in the near future. Do you play Skullgirls on any platform and what do you think of the new DLC announcement?

Motion Twin and Playdigious’ brilliant Dead Cells ($4.99) has finally gotten three major patches in a single update on iOS. It should be out on Android very soon if it isn’t already when you’re readying this. If you haven’t bought Dead Cells on mobile yet, read my review on the game’s current state here. Barring the many new additions and enhancements available, this update is also supposed to address the MFi controller issues on iPhone and iPad, but it crashes when I use my Kishi V2 and BackBone One to attack. I’ve reached out to Playdigious to check in on this and will update this story when I hear back. Check out details for the Break the Bank update here, Enter the Panchaku update here, and Breaking Barriers update here. Watch the trailer below:

I’ve been enjoying Vampire Survivors a lot on my Steam Deck. If you missed it, read my review of it here. The popularity of Vampire Survivors on Steam has led to many games to try and put their own spin on things. 20 Minutes Till Dawn ($1.99) on mobile is one of my favorites. It was updated about a month ago on iOS to finally add controller support and more localizations in addition to finally be playable offline. Over the weekend, it was updated to add in a new character, Yuki, who is pictured below. The update also mentions a new visual option for bosses, but that seemingly was already in the game as of a few weeks ago.

yuki 20 minutes till dawn character unlock

Yuki needs to be unlocked, and is the newest character in the game. If you aren’t seeing her, scroll to the right on the character selection screen. This boss contour option can be toggled in the settings alongside screen shake which I disable as usual. If you haven’t gotten it yet, 20 Minutes Till Dawn is priced at about $2.99 or your regional equivalent on iOS. Check it out on the App Store for iOS here, Google Play for Android here, and also on Steam here. Head over to our forum thread for the game here for more discussion around the game on mobile. Press Release

    Nov 3, 2022

Oxygen Forensics, a global leader in digital forensics for law enforcement, federal agencies, and enterprise clients, announced today the release of the latest version of the all-in-one digital forensic solution, Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.15.1. This version offers multiple advancements to increase access to mobile data, as well as improvements to the popular analytic feature, Facial Categorization.

Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.15.1 expands brute force capabilities for Android devices by enhancing support for two MTK chipsets. Investigators will be able to bypass passcodes and access more data from MTK-based Android devices. Furthermore, to improve extraction support for Kirin-based Huawei devices, Oxygen Forensics has added the ability to brute force passcodes for multiple Huawei MainSpaces, exponentially increasing the amount of data users can extract to help support their investigations.

Additionally, Oxygen Forensics advances decryption capabilities and increases support for Android Keystore extraction for Qualcomm-based devices. With Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.15.1, investigators will be able to extract encryption keys for four Qualcomm chipsets.

Version 15.1 introduces the ability to import, parse, and analyze downloaded Snapchat My Data files. Used in accordance with Snapchat’s “Download My Data” function, investigators will be able to download account information, chats, search history, and more, and then analyze this data using the wide selection of comprehensive analytic tools offered in Oxygen Forensic® Detective.

Once again, Oxygen Forensics enhances its popular and powerful Facial Categorization feature. With version 15.1, investigators will have the ability to detect faces within videos. This will minimize the need to scan video frames and manually take screenshots, ultimately improving workflow and saving investigators’ valuable time.

Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.15.1 offers multiple enhancements in mobile extraction support that grant investigators access to more mobile data from over 30,000 mobile devices. When asked about what drove the decision to focus on decryption and brute forcing, CEO Lee Reiber stated, “Our goal is to give our users industry-leading extraction support with each consecutive release. The way we do this is by listening to our customers’ feedback, innovating, and building state-of-the-art tools that are compatible with the latest mobile devices and artifacts.”

With expanded brute force and decryption capabilities, and an improved Facial Categorization tool, Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.15.1 is another groundbreaking release that will surely exceed customers’ expectations.

‘To the Moon’ Sequel ‘Finding Paradise’ Is Coming to iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch On November 18th – TouchArcade

To the Moon ($4.99) from Freebird Games (Kan Gao) hit mobile through XD Inc back in 2017, and it brought one of my favorite stories in gaming to mobile platforms for the first time. The sequel, Finding Paradise, was announced last year to come to mobile, and we finally know that it will arrive in two weeks. This version of Finding Paradise has been rebuilt from scratch with HD visuals and other enhancements. It will launch on mobile and Nintendo Switch on November 18th worldwide. If you’ve not played it, Finding Paradise has you following the story of two doctors going through a dying man’s memories to fulfill his last wish. I’ve been waiting for the iOS release to fully experience Finding Paradise. Watch the Finding Paradise mobile and Switch release date trailer below:

As revealed last year, Finding Paradise on mobile will also include a new menu and interface for mobile, tap and virtual joystick options, and auto-save. If you aren’t sure about this and haven’t played To the Moon yet, the Steam page for Finding Paradise mentions that this is a standalone experience that doesn’t require you to have played any prior games. Read Shaun’s review of the iOS version here and Nintendo Switch version here for To the Moon. Finding Paradise is set to release on November 18th for $4.99 on mobile and $11.99 on Nintendo Switch. This new version from XD also includes a new music box mode to access the soundtrack. Head over to our forum thread for To the Moon here. Have you played any of Freebird Games’ releases so far on mobile or PC?
