  • American Express Business Platinum Cardholders Get Mysterious $10-$30 Mailed Checks – Doctor Of Credit

American Express Business Platinum Cardholders Get Mysterious $10-$30 Mailed Checks – Doctor Of Credit

    [ad_1]

Many Reddit users report receiving $10.xx checks for money owed to them as being American Express Business cardholders. Apparently there were $10 wireless credits not paid out and these are being sent out with interest. Some people got $20.xx check or $30.xx checking, presumably for some months combined. Some got even a dozen or more of these checks. It’s been sent even to people who are not aware of any missing credits, so keep an eye out and don’t throw out the mail too quickly.

    Our Verdict

This is showing up in incognito mode for some people. Seems very YMMV but worth checking and trying VPNs and other methods to get the offer to show. This is an insane offer if you can get it to show and worth signing up for immediately if you can meet the minimum spend requirement. If you do get it to show then please share the method you used in the comments below.

    Our Verdict

Not as good as the 250,000 offer that is still showing. The advantage to this offer is that it doesn’t have lifetime language so you can get the bonus even if you’ve had the card before. High annual fee but the lounge benefits can be worth it for some people, especially when it comes with this healthy of a sign up bonus.

  • American Express Offering Generous Retention Bonuses On Business Platinum (150k Points) – Doctor Of Credit

American Express Offering Generous Retention Bonuses On Business Platinum (150k Points) – Doctor Of Credit

    [ad_1]

According to Travel On Points there are reports that American Express is offering generous retention bonuses on the American Express Business Platinum. The best offer seems to be 150,000 points after $15,000 in spend. $695 annual fee is not waived. American Express has been offering a sign up bonus of 190,000 points or 250,000 points on this card but still surprising to see such a generous offer.

Best chance of getting such an offer is by calling in and threatening to cancel, you can try via chat but generally the chance of getting a higher offer is better by calling. You can read our retention guide here. If you give it a go share your experiences in the comments below.

Update 3/10/24: This is showing up in incognito mode people again. Requires $15,000 in spend. Some people have got it to load by waiting for the offer to time out and then refreshing others have gotten it by just visiting directly from Google. There was an actual direct link available for a few days but didn’t post due to risk of shutdown. Should be fine if you can get it to show naturally.

Update 11/14/22: There is another direct link available, this time with an additional 10,000 authorized user bonus. I’d recommend reading the caution below before using this link.

Update 7/8/22: There is now a direct link to this offer. I’d exercise extreme caution using this link as American Express has been known to shut down accounts for using these types of links in the past. Hat tip to US Credit Card Guide

Update 6/20/22: FM reports that the calling in method that works for the American Express Business Gold 180k-190k offer also works for this offer (call 855-531-3491 and reject the first offer). Can also get an additional 10,000 points by adding an additional cardholder and spending $1,000+ on that card.

    Our Verdict

I think this offer has no lifetime language but not sure it’ll show if you’ve ever had the card before. This is the best offer we see on the business platinum card, if it was a public offer we would add it to the best credit card bonuses.
