  • This Is The Key Level That Stands Between The Ethereum Price And A Surge To $5,000

    [ad_1]

The Ethereum price has been in a crucial consolidation phase, with analysts closely watching the next big move. After reclaiming the $4,500 level, the cryptocurrency is now facing one last obstacle before potentially breaking into uncharted territory. Crypto market expert Ted Pillows has set Ethereum’s next price target at $5,000, signaling a potential new all-time high.

Ethereum Price Faces Major Hurdle Before $5,000

In a recent technical analysis published on X social media, Pillows explained that Ethereum has successfully reclaimed the $4,500 support level, a point that had previously been a stumbling block for bulls. Now, the market is laser-focused on its next price hurdle at $4,880, which has emerged as the final barrier before a potential breakout

    Related Reading

According to his price chart, a daily candle close above the $4,880 resistance could open the doors to a fresh all-time high and quickly accelerate Ethereum’s momentum toward the $5,000 milestone. Just last month, ETH shocked the market by breaking its 2021 all-time high and climbing past $4,900. Now, the cryptocurrency looks ready for its next big move, with Pillows confirming $5,000 as the short-term target.

Source: Chart from Ted Pillows on X

Ethereum’s struggle around the $4,880 level comes from repeated failures to push higher at this point in previous sessions. Each rejection has reinforced $4,880 as a strong resistance, making it the decisive point for bulls to conquer. A clean break above it could invalidate bearish short-term pressure and potentially trigger an influx of buying volume.

However, if Ethereum once again fails to hold above this level, the price could retreat to lower supports. Pillows identified the $4,200 – $4,400 range as the primary demand zone where buyers could step back in. This area has historically provided strong support and could act as a springboard for another attempt to retest the resistance.

ETH Rejected At $4,650 But Holds Support

In a follow-up analysis, Pillows noted that Ethereum failed to reclaim the $4,650 level, making its path to reach the $4,880 resistance even more difficult. The rejection at $4,650 has raised concerns of a near-term pullback, with the $4,500 region now being the key support to watch.

    Related Reading

If ETH holds above $4,500 and gains fresh bullish momentum, Pillows suggests that another attempt at reclaiming $4,650 could occur, potentially setting the stage for the long-awaited $4,880 breakout. On the downside, Ethereum maintains strong structural support between $3,800 and $4,000. This range has acted as a crucial demand zone during past corrections, absorbing selling pressure and enabling bulls to re-accumulate.

For longer-term investors, Pillows noted that this support zone presents a significant buy-dip opportunity. He said that if ETH declines to this level, many altcoins would also enter attractive discount zones, presenting broader accumulation opportunities across the market.

  • Ethereum Daily Chart Turns Green As ETHBTC Prepares For Lift-Off

    [ad_1]

In a recent post on X, crypto analyst CRYPTOWZRD shared a bullish daily technical outlook for Ethereum (ETH), highlighting a strong close that suggests further upward movement is likely. The analyst’s primary expectation is for more gains to follow as the ETH/BTC pair begins to surge. This key relationship is a central focus for the analyst, as a strong performance from Ethereum against BTC often signals a broader bullish period for ETH itself.

ETH And ETHBTC Daily Candles Flash Strong Bullish Close

Giving a detailed market update, CRYPTOWZRD highlighted that both Ethereum’s daily candle and the ETHBTC pair closed strongly bullish. ETHBTC’s surge occurred as Bitcoin’s dominance weakened, providing altcoins with room to build momentum. This shift marked a significant move for Ethereum, reflecting renewed strength in the broader market structure.

According to his analysis, ETHBTC successfully broke out of its daily falling wedge pattern, a move that often signals the start of a bullish reversal. Ethereum mirrored this strength, pushing higher alongside the breakout, which further reinforced optimism among traders who have been watching closely for signs of sustained upside momentum.

Examining key levels, CRYPTOWZRD highlighted that $5,000 remains the primary daily resistance for Ethereum. A decisive break above this threshold could ignite an impulsive rally, potentially driving ETH toward the $5,780 resistance zone or even higher. On the downside, $4,000 is seen as the critical daily support, providing a safety net for bulls should price action cool off in the short term.

Despite the strong outlook, he noted that his primary focus will stay on the lower time frame chart formations for tomorrow, as these provide opportunities for quick scalps and short-term trades. However, with the weekend approaching, CRYPTOWZRD is maintaining a rational stance.

Volatility Offers Both Risk And Opportunity In The Current Setup

Crypto analyst CRYPTOWZRD has stated that the intraday chart for Ethereum is showing significant volatility, with more expected in the near term. This high level of fluctuation is something he is prepared for and is a normal part of the market as it searches for a new direction.

In the meantime, CRYPTOWZRD has outlined two potential scenarios. If BTC’s price pulls back toward the $4,500 level, it will then show a clear bullish reversal. Another scenario would be if Ethereum holds strong and breaks above the $4,765 resistance, it would signal a new upward leg.

Ultimately, the analyst advises exercising patience and waiting for the market to present a clear, healthy trade setup. This cautious approach acknowledges the current volatility, and the market’s next move will dictate the next best opportunity.

  • Altcoins Feel The Pinch As Crypto Market Sentiment Sours

The crypto market slipped into a risk-off mood over the weekend as the Crypto Fear & Greed Index fell to 44, moving from Neutral into Fear.

    Traders Shift Toward Large Caps

Santiment said a heavy focus on large-caps can signal more cautious behavior among traders. Based on reports, that pattern was visible on Saturday when market activity narrowed and attention tightened around the biggest tokens.

According to data firm Santiment, traders are pulling money out of obscure altcoins and putting it back into major names like Bitcoin, Ether, and XRP.

Bitfinex analysts added that a broader return of momentum to smaller coins may wait until more spot crypto ETFs launch later this year.

    Price Moves Are Mixed

According to Coingecko, Bitcoin is down 5% over the past month while Ether has risen 9% over the same period. The wider altcoin group is under pressure, even as a few tokens show isolated strength.

CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index stood at 56 on Sunday, a level that technically meets the threshold for Altcoin Season when comparing the top 100 altcoins versus Bitcoin over a 90-day window.

    Altcoin Season And The Shakeout

Some traders see the current pullback as a cleansing move. Trader Rekt Fencer said, “This is the final shakeout for altcoins,” pointing to falling volumes and nervous sentiment.

That view is echoed by other market watchers who note that lower volumes can exaggerate price swings and make smaller tokens more volatile.

Meanwhile, traders waiting for new inflows say they are watching ETF rollouts as a potential trigger for renewed interest in lower-cap assets.

Short-Term Risk Views And Cycle Warnings

Market technician Daan Crypto Trades described Bitcoin’s price action as “undecisive” and warned it could sweep monthly lows to flush out late long positions.

The analyst added that such a move should then cause some fear of it losing $100,000. Other analysts urge caution about drawing firm patterns from past cycles.

PlanC warned that relying on just three previous halving cycles is misleading, writing that anyone who expects Bitcoin to have to peak in Q4 this year “does not understand statistics or probability.”

Michael van de Poppe offered a counterpoint, arguing that altcoins are “extremely undervalued” versus past cycles and that 2025 may play out very differently.

  • Santiment Highlights Top Tokens: Bitcoin, Ethereum, And Dogecoin Dominate Social Buzz

    [ad_1]

Conversations across the crypto space are circling back to blue-chip tokens, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin taking the spotlight. Data from on-chain analytics platform Santiment shows that top market cap cryptocurrencies are dominating the surge in social chatter, with discussions ranging from institutional adoption and ETF speculation to technical barriers and ecosystem growth. Alongside them, Strategy, Tether, and MultiversX are also attracting strong attention.

    Bitcoin And Ethereum Dominating Attention

Despite price resistance at $112,000 throughout last week, Bitcoin is still the most closely watched cryptocurrency by analysts and investors. According to on-chain analytics platform Santiment, Bitcoin is currently dominating among crypto investors thanks to extensive discussions about its long-term role as digital gold, a monetary network, and a hedge against inflation. Conversations focus heavily on its scarcity, institutional demand, and the importance of self-custody. Traders are also discussing Bitcoin’s liquidity in flash crypto offers that allow instant trading and spending across multiple platforms.

Ethereum is trending, with mentions also tied to its role in flash tokens and its utility across wallets and decentralized platforms. ETH discussions are based on its transferability and use in trading, staking, and gaming, while institutions continue to accumulate large volumes. However, the Ethereum price is also facing technical struggles in breaking above $4,500, having been rejected at $4,480 multiple times in the past seven days.

Strategy And Dogecoin Also Generate Social Buzz

Strategy’s and its MicroStrategy ($MSTR) stock are also hot topics due to the company’s massive Bitcoin reserves and its reputation as a leveraged proxy for BTC exposure. Particularly, market chatter has picked up around its potential inclusion in the S&P 500, which could cause institutional buying and fund inflows. At the same time, discussions show that investors are debating whether MSTR shares or Bitcoin ETFs provide better exposure.

Unsurprisingly, the word “Dogecoin” is in the limelight due to multiple developments last week. Most of Dogecoin’s mentions are based on the upcoming Rex-Osprey Dogecoin ETF, which could become a historic first for Dogecoin ETFs in the US financial market. Furthermore, Trump-backed company Thumzup is expanding Dogecoin mining operations by adding 3,500 rigs. Despite choppy price action last week, Dogecoin managed to close above $0.21.

Tether ($USDT) also saw huge mentions last week after the company announced deeper investments into gold, with its reserves now exceeding $8.7 billion. The company aims to expand into mining, refining, and trading, with its CEO calling gold a natural bitcoin. Additionally, new token listings related to Tether are appearing on platforms like BitMart.

MultiversX ($EGLD), meanwhile, is facing a different kind of attention. Social discussions highlight concerns about dilution of its supply and the migration of projects to other chains like SUI, raising doubts about long-term use cases. However, there’s optimism on projects such as xPortal and xMoney, with hopes that buyback mechanisms and upcoming launches could bolster value.

  • Why $50 XRP By December 2025 Isn’t ‘Hopium’ If ETFs Get Greenlight: Analyst

    [ad_1]

XRP’s price outlook is in focus as the US Securities and Exchange Commission lines up decisions on multiple spot ETF applications in late October 2025. Analysts say the outcome of that cluster could decide whether billions of dollars in institutional funds flow into the token before year-end.

    Related Reading

    Filings Point To October Decision

Reports show that six issuers have active S-1 filings or amendments waiting for review. The list includes Bitwise, WisdomTree, 21Shares, Canary Capital, CoinShares, and Franklin Templeton.

The timing of these filings, following the SEC’s dismissal of its case against Ripple, has raised expectations that issuers are preparing for a launch window tied to October’s calendar.

    Demand Shock Could Stress Supply

Industry insiders project that more than $5 billion could enter through spot ETFs in the first month alone. Estimates run as high as $10–18 billion by the end of 2025 if approvals are granted and appetite is strong.

XRP market cap currently at $169 billion. Chart: TradingView

XRP’s effective supply is limited, with about 35 billion tokens still locked in escrow and much of the circulating amount held by exchanges and large investors. This thin float means a sudden demand wave could trigger sharp price swings.

Analyst Upbeat About A $50 Target

Veteran Bitcoin investor Pumpius has tied these supply and demand pressures to a bold forecast. He believes that if ETFs launch in the fourth quarter and inflows reach $10–18 billion, XRP could climb to $50 by December 2025 — and it is not “hopium“.

From today’s price of $2.80, that would be a 1,680% rise, lifting market capitalization from $168 billion to about $3 trillion.

Pumpius says the setup mirrors Bitcoin and Ethereum before their ETF approvals, pointing to the recent launch of XRP futures on CME and Coinbase Derivatives as proof that institutional infrastructure is already in place.

    Skepticism Over The Timeline

Many market participants have pushed back against the forecast, arguing that the timeline is too short for XRP to grow that much.

Critics on social platforms point out the difficulty of scaling from a $168 billion market to $3 trillion in just over a year. Some also question whether early ETF inflows will meet the higher-end projections cited by Pumpius.

    Related Reading

    What Approval Would Mean

Should the SEC approve the filings in October, ETFs could channel regulated exposure for pensions, wealth managers, RIAs, and corporate treasuries.

That would test XRP’s liquidity, potentially forcing larger holders to adjust positions as new demand arrives. If the applications are denied, expectations for a breakout rally would likely be pushed further out.

For now, XRP continues to trade at $2.84. With the SEC’s October cluster approaching, traders are weighing whether the path to $50 is a realistic outcome or just a bold scenario tied to one investor’s high-stakes call.

  • Analyst Forecasts XRP To Stage Amazon-Like Rally To $200

    [ad_1]

XRP has drawn plenty of comparisons over the past few months, but one analyst believes the best way to understand its future is to look at Amazon’s past. Nick Anderson, better known as BULLRUNNERS on the social media platform X, says XRP is going through the same kind of consolidation Amazon faced in 2010, and it still has the potential to rally to $200. The key difference, however, is the patience investors will need before this rally can happen.

    Related Reading

Amazon’s Breakout Holds The Clues For XRP

XRP’s price action in the past seven days has been highlighted by a trading range between $2.8 and $2.9. The cryptocurrency now seems stuck within this range, but it has managed to hold above $2.8 for the meantime. Interestingly, Anderson likened this consolidation move to a similar retest of a previous high by the Amazon stock (AMZN) back in 2010.

In his post, Anderson highlighted how Amazon stock spent roughly 3,800 days consolidating after the dot-com crash before finally breaking past its previous high and entering a meteoric run. However, before entering into this meteoric run, it consolidated for a few months in 2010 just after breaking above its previous high during the dot-com bubble.

According to Anderson, XRP’s current structure is tracing out a massive cup and handle that mirrors this exact Amazon stock setup, with the cryptocurrency now using past highs as support in the same way Amazon did. Just as Amazon transformed once it cleared resistance, Anderson believes XRP could follow a similar breakout trajectory that could eventually push its price above $100, and possibly as high as $200.

XRPUSD currently trading at $2.8. Chart: TradingView

    Short-Term Expectations Between $5 And $30

In his assessment, Anderson noted that this predicted rally to $200 might take many years to come to fruition. Comparing today’s price of around $2.80 to Amazon’s $5 launch point before its monumental rally, this would probably be the best time for XRP investors to accumulate for the long term. For younger investors, holding XRP for the next 10 to 15 years could prove transformative, with as little as 10,000 XRP amounting to $1 million in value if the cryptocurrency eventually climbs to $100.

Despite his long-term forecast, Anderson is more cautious about what XRP might achieve this cycle. He stated that while a push to $100 in the near term would be “absolutely insane”, a more realistic target for this bull run could lie between $5 and $30. After that, he expects another correction to set in before the rally resumes sometime around the end of the decade.

    Related Reading

Anderson also left room for a more explosive scenario, noting that XRP could deliver what he called a “giga rally” if liquidity rushes into the market faster than expected. This is based on the growing anticipation around the adoption of ISO 20022 by the US Federal Reserve.

At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $2.81.

  • Trump-Tied Thumzup Raises $50M, Merges Dogecoin Mining With XRP Plans

    [ad_1]

According to a shareholder letter, Thumzup Media completed a $50 million common stock offering at $10 per share and laid out a two-part plan: expand into Dogecoin mining and put selected cryptocurrencies into a corporate treasury.

    Thumzup Raises $50 Million

The new cash will help fund a pending acquisition of Dogehash Technologies, a deal that calls for Thumzup to issue 30.7 million shares to Dogehash shareholders.

Once the transaction closes, the mining firm is set to be renamed Dogehash Technologies Holdings and is expected to trade on Nasdaq under the XDOG ticker. Part of the raised money will buy 1,000 mining machines, company officials said.

    Dogecoin Mining Push

Reports have disclosed that Thumzup described the mining effort as aggressive. The move ties mining assets and capital markets together in one package. Some details remain unclear.

For example, the timetable for renaming and listing, and the exact delivery schedule for the 1,000 rigs, were not spelled out in the letter. Still, the plan is in motion and will be watched closely by investors.

    XRP Included In Corporate Treasury

Beyond rigs and a Nasdaq plan, Thumzup said its board has approved building a diversified crypto treasury that will include XRP. Other assets named were Dogecoin, Solana, Ethereum, Litecoin and stablecoin USDC.

No firm numbers were given on how much of any token will be held. What was revealed is that this treasury plan follows earlier cryptocurrency buys: Thumzup invested $1 million in Bitcoin in January and then made an additional $1 million purchase later that month.

Total crypto market cap currently at $3.75 trillion. Chart: TradingView

    Companies Adding XRP To Reserves

Based on reports from other firms, Thumzup is not alone. Webus International announced a $300 million XRP treasury plan in June. VivoPower, which raised $121 million from investors that include Saudi backers, has also discussed using part of that funding to hold XRP.

    Related Reading

Trident Digital has said it intends to build a $500 million XRP reserve. Those moves are being watched by market participants because they change how some firms think about holding crypto on their balance sheets.

Investors will look for three items. First, whether the Dogehash deal closes and the 30.7 million-share exchange is completed. Second, the actual delivery and deployment of the 1,000 mining units. Third, any filings or announcements that show how much crypto Thumzup will place into its treasury and when those purchases occur.

The company framed its strategy as consistent with US President Donald Trump’s stated support for boosting American crypto activity, a political point that the firm used in the shareholder letter.

  • ETH And BTC ETFs Reverse Gains With $291M In Outflows Ahead Of New Week

    [ad_1]

US-based crypto ETFs have witnessed a change in dynamics in August, which has seen inflows tipping towards Ethereum ETFs. However, last week’s trend of strong inflows ended with substantial outflows on Friday, with Ethereum ETFs leading the retreat with $164.64 million and Bitcoin ETFs following with $126.64 million. This sudden reversal coincides with an interesting timing of stubborn inflation data that seems to have rattled institutional investors.

    Related Reading

A Sudden Reversal At Week’s End

According to data from Farside Investors, US-based Spot Ethereum ETFs ended the week with $164.64 million in outflows. The outflows came from Fidelity’s FETH with $51 million, Bitwise’s ETHW with $23.7 million, Grayscale’s ETHE with $28.6 million, and Grayscale’s ETH with $61.3 million. BlackRock, on the other hand, witnessed neither inflows nor outflows into its Spot ETH ETFs, alongside 21Shares, VanEck, Invesco, and Franklin Templeton Ethereum ETFs.

Friday’s outflows were a jarring departure from the steady gain that had defined Ethereum’s Spot ETFs since August 21. Ethereum’s six-day inflow streak, which had added about $1.876 billion, was brought to an abrupt end with the outflows on Friday. As a result, total assets under management for Spot Ethereum ETFs dipped to $28.58 billion.

    Ethereum ETF Flow: Farside Investors

Meanwhile, Spot Bitcoin ETFs also recorded their first daily decline since August 22 with $126.64 million in outflows on Friday. As a result, their total assets under management dropped to $139.95 billion.

However, not every issuer felt the pressure with Bitcoin. Fidelity’s FBTC led the exodus with $66.2 million, followed by ARKB’s $72.07 million and GBTC’s $15.3 million in outflows. On the other hand, BlackRock’s IBIT still managed $24.63 million in inflows and WisdomTree’s BTCW drew in $2.3 million amid the wider outflows.

    Bitcoin ETF Flow: Farside Investors

The underlying cause of the outflows can be attributed to investors digesting the latest data on inflation released on Friday. Notably, the US core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index climbed 2.9% year-over-year in July, the fastest pace since February, creating fears that the Federal Reserve may hold off on rate cuts.

What May Lie Ahead This Week

As a new trading week begins, Spot ETF flow in both Ethereum and Bitcoin is likely to depend on how investors continue to interpret the data. If inflation pressures persist, institutional investors may retreat further at the beginning of the week. However, any signs of cooling could see inflows resume mid-week, particularly into Ethereum, where fundamentals are currently favorable.

On the price side of things, Bitcoin’s hold above the $108,000 price may offer some relief. However, it needs to stay above $110,000 in order for any upside move to gain momentum. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $109,910.

For Ethereum, a daily close above $4,500 could confirm the return of bullish confidence, whereas a slide below $4,400 might signal further weakness. At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $4,470, up by 1.7% in the past 24 hours.

  • Bitcoin Daily Close Spurs Caution – $110,500 Breakdown Could Shift Momentum

    [ad_1]

Cryptowzrd, in a fresh update on Bitcoin’s daily technical outlook, noted that the market closed bearish, leaving room for further downside. A decisive close below the $110,500 support could mark a key shift, making lower levels worth watching.

Daily Candle Signals Bearish Pressure For Bitcoin

Cryptowzrd expanded on his outlook by pointing out that Bitcoin’s daily candle closed bearish, with price now trading beneath the $110,500 support zone. This breakdown is significant and could invite further selling pressure in the sessions ahead if buyers fail to reclaim the level.

He emphasized that holding below this support opens the door for a potential move toward the $100,000 mark. However, a strong bullish candle and a swift recovery could invalidate the bearish setup, restoring confidence for buyers.

In the analysis, he also highlighted the performance of Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D), which closed indecisively while displaying weakness. This weakness in dominance is often viewed as a positive signal for altcoins, as it suggests capital is flowing away from Bitcoin and into alternative assets.

Such a shift in market dominance reflects growing market confidence in altcoins. When Bitcoin dominance stalls or declines, it tends to fuel altcoin rallies, allowing traders to diversify into promising setups across the market.

Finally, he noted that markets are heading into the monthly transition period, a time often associated with increased volatility and mixed sentiment. Going into the weekend, he emphasized the importance of staying rational and avoiding overextending in either direction, maintaining measured strategies while waiting for clearer confirmation signals.

    BTC Volatility Dominates Intraday Trading

Cryptowzrd highlighted that today’s intraday chart displayed sharp volatility with a clear bearish tone, as Bitcoin slipped and is currently holding below the $110,400 intraday support. This level has now become critical, as losing it signals weakening buyer strength and raises the risk of further downside pressure

He explained that if Bitcoin retests $110,400 and fails to reclaim it, the level could flip into resistance. Such a scenario would likely trigger a short setup, with price action targeting the $105,500 support area or even extending lower if bearish momentum accelerates. This makes the $110,400 region a decisive battleground for traders closely watching intraday setups.

On the other hand, Cryptowzrd pointed out that a strong reclaim and hold above $110,400 could shift momentum back in favor of the bulls, opening the door for further upside pressure. However, the crypto analyst emphasized that the market currently lacks clarity, and traders should exercise caution before rushing in.

  • Ether Soars In August—But Will September Spoil The Party?

    [ad_1]

Ethereum’s rally this month has been sharp, but traders are being warned to watch September closely.

    Related Reading

Ether climbed about 20% since the start of August, trading at $4,745 at the time of publication. Prices even pierced $4,860 after dovish remarks from US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell at the Jackson Hole symposium, a move that many in crypto see as a possible spark for more gains.

    Historic September Pullbacks

According to CoinGlass, history offers a cautionary note: there have been only three cases since 2016 where Ether rose in August and then slid in September.

In 2017, Ether jumped 92% in August and then dropped 20% the following month. In 2020, August gains of 25% were followed by a 17% pullback in September.

And in 2021, a 35% climb in August gave way to a 12% slip in September. CryptoGoos, a trader on X, summed it up bluntly: seasonality in September during post-halving years tends to be negative.

That pattern does not mean a repeat is guaranteed. Reports have disclosed that both market structure and investor profiles are different now than in those earlier years.

In 2016 and 2020, short-term losses in September were followed by multi-month recoveries, with Ether posting upside in the final three months of those years. So while history matters, it does not decide outcomes on its own.

    New Money, New Dynamics

Flows into spot Ether ETFs this month have been large enough to grab attention. Based on reports from Farside, spot Ether ETFs saw roughly $2.70 billion net inflows in August, while spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced about $1.2 billion in net outflows over the same period.

Ethereum is now trading at $4,795. Chart: TradingView

At the same time, companies that hold crypto on their balance sheets now control a sizable chunk of Ether. Reports show total Ether held by treasury companies topped $13 billion in value on Aug. 11.

Arkham reported that BitMine chairman Tom Lee bought another $45 million of Ether, lifting BitMine’s stack to $7 billion.

Those numbers change the math. Big institutional stacks and ETF demand can make sharp, short-term moves more persistent than in prior cycles.

Capital appears to be rotating; Bitcoin dominance has fallen 5% over the past 30 days to 55%, which market participants mostly attribute to funds moving into assets beyond Bitcoin.

    What Traders Might Do Next

Traders and portfolio managers will likely keep an eye on macro signals and flow data. A softer interest rate outlook from Powell is a bullish factor for risk assets, but seasonality and previous post-August declines are reasons to stay cautious.

  • Analyst Says Dogecoin Price Is Entering Expansion Phase – Here’s What It Means

    [ad_1]

According to crypto analyst Cas Abbé, Dogecoin’s current movement suggests it is stepping into a new expansion phase after an extended period of accumulation. This development comes after months of relatively muted sentiment with strong price support, which now appears to be forming the groundwork for another strong breakout. Notably, technical analysis of various charts tracking Dogecoin’s hash rate, CVDD levels, alpha pricing, and network stress index provides context to this technical outlook, which might see Dogecoin surge to new price highs.

Signs Of An Expansion Phase In Dogecoin

Taking to the social media platform X, crypto analyst Cas Abbé explained a few reasons as to why the Dogecoin price is about to enter into an expansion phase. The first being that Dogecoin has been trading inside a wide accumulation range in the past few months. This base has been at the $0.20 price level since the beginning of August.

This type of prolonged base-building is mostly always known to precede sharp upward moves, as it reflects the gradual buildup of strong demand. Furthermore, the analyst noted that the current breakout attempts are backed by rising trading volume, which he interpreted as institutional accumulation. This is unlike past Dogecoin bull cycles, which were mostly based on retail hype.

Technical momentum indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) are currently in a mid-range position, and this means that Dogecoin still has significant room to climb before hitting overbought conditions.

Another factor is the Dogecoin mining hash rate chart. As shown in the image below, the hash rate has been rising massively since the beginning of 2025, showing that network strength has been steadily climbing even during price consolidations and declines.

    Historical Patterns Back Expansion Outlook

One of Abbé’s key points is that Dogecoin’s price cycles have consistently followed a similar pattern of long sideways stretches followed by sudden vertical expansions. This cycle structure can be seen in the cumulative value days destroyed (CVDD) chart. As shown in the chart below, Dogecoin’s price action stayed well within its accumulation zones before breaking higher in 2018 and then in 2021.

However, unlike the peaks in 2018 and 2021 where on-chain metrics were overheated, current conditions are calm, which shows more of genuine accumulation rather than profit-taking and distribution.

The expansion phase is not about short-lived spikes but rather the start of a new directional trend that could redefine Dogecoin’s price structure. Although the analyst did not define a price target, technical analyses from other analysts point to price predictions that will take the Dogecoin price well above its 2021 peak of $0.7316 into the $1 threshold and beyond. A similar analysis by crypto analyst Javon Marks points to a Dogecoin price target of $1.25.

At the time of writing, Dogecoin is trading at $0.237, up by 9.5% in the past 24 hours.

GRASS Token Fails To Break Past $2 Level- Is It Time To Buy?

    [ad_1]

Este artículo también está disponible en español.

GRASS token, one of the latest DePIN projects, attracts significant attention from analysts and the investing public. As a Layer-2 platform on the Solana blockchain, the Grass platform allows users to share unused internet bandwidth to train AI models using a browser extension. With its promising technology, it’s no surprise that its token launch and airdrop last October 28th was highly anticipated.

    Related Reading

While the airdrop was marred by a few issues, including a three-hour outage, the token’s price rally succeeded. Last October 29th, the token peaked at October 29th, then made a massive rally from October 31st until November 2nd, breaching the $1.50 level.

After hitting a high of $1.9175 on November 2nd, it has slowed down, settled below the $1.75 level, and now trades at the $1.45 level. GRASS has rejected the $2 price, with analysts seeing a deeper pullback—so, is this the right time to buy?

GRASS price up in the last seven days. Source: CoinMarketCap

    A Rough Start For GRASS

Trading for GRASS started on October 28th, but a few issues delayed the token’s airdrop and launch. The team recorded technical issues, including users being prevented from accessing their tokens on their Phantom wallets. Also, the rush to claim the tokens was marred by the three-hour power interruption. Furthermore, some users reported flagged transactions, and many were disqualified from the airdrop.

A total of 1 billion GRASS tokens were circulated, and 10% were given to early supporters and contributors. It’s still too early to see the full extent of these issues’ effect on GRASS, but the token started well price-wise.

Total crypto market cap currently at $2.2 trillion. Chart: TradingView

    Token Tries To Breach $2

It’s challenging to make sense of GRASS’s price action since it only launched a few days ago. However, analysts see a bullish trend on the chart’s lower timeframes. The token boasts above-average volume in the last 24 hours.

Also, the token’s on-balance volume and price increased starting October 30th. In short, there was buying pressure for the token, suggesting that price gains may happen soon.

However, GRASS rejected $2, making it the token’s short-term psychological resistance. Analysts said the price could dip to $1.75 since the RSI reflects a bearish divergence.

Other Analysts See A Deeper Dive For GRASS

Based on the technical charts, the analysts found two notable liquidity pools at prices of $1.56 and $1.96. The current price is currently closer to the liquidity pool at $1.56, with the token appearing to reject the $1.96 level.

Since there’s a bearish momentum and a liquidity pool at $1.56, traders and holders can expect a price dip below $1,75. Swing traders and new buyers who want to enter a position can wait for the token’s retesting of $1.56 or even $1.4.

$40 XRP? Analyst Reveals Key Insights Suggesting Uptrend Ahead

    [ad_1]

Este artículo también está disponible en español.

A crypto market analyst recently released a study that predicts a big rise in the price of XRP. This study fits with the current excitement in the crypto community, especially since Elon Musk made his first public reference to XRP.

    Related Reading

In a video that went viral on Crypto Twitter, Musk talked about how valuable cryptocurrencies like XRP are. This caused a purchasing frenzy. Musk didn’t fully back XRP, but his comments about how cryptocurrencies can help people’s freedom have made people wonder how this might affect the price of the altcoin.

    XRP’s Role In Global Finance

It was brought up in the video that Musk was asked if he thought XRP could play a big role in the global financial system, given the SEC’s focus on regulating the cryptocurrency. His answer was simple, but it worked.

He said that coins like XRP challenge centralized control and support personal freedom, but that was not a call to action. Although it did not express outright support, such statements by Musk have given hope to crypto investors because of the influence he has on the market.

Crypto analyst Steph’s technological study fits this increasing buzz. Since 2018, he noted a symmetrical triangular pattern developing on the XRP/USD chart that points to a notable breakout perhaps just ahead.

    Musk’s Social Media Impact

Currently at the top of this triangle, XRP reflects the 2017 situation that resulted in its spectacular surge and all-time high of $3.31. Investors are eagerly observing since Musk’s remarks seem to coincide with this pivotal technical turning point.

XRP market cap currently at $30 billion. Chart: TradingView.com

Regulatory hurdles have long been a factor in XRP’s price suppression, Steph notes especially in view of Ripple’s ongoing legal battle with the SEC. Still, he believes the coin may be set to have a major breakthrough—just like it did in 2021 when it outperformed Bitcoin by 460%.

Even if Musk doesn’t explicitly support the token, his mention of it can boost market sentiment because some speculators think the altcoin is currently more affordable than Bitcoin.

    Upbeat About XRP’s Future

Essentially, Steph is positive about the future of the altcoin but stresses that what is exciting is the developing relationships Ripple has with huge financial institutions. The implications for this are that when CBDCs are going to be more in demand, XRP will be even more important within the global financial system.

    Related Reading

More than this, institutional interest in the asset is also depicted through recent registration for XRP-oriented ETFs from Canary Capital and Bitwise. These events with the words of Musk have revived hopes about XRP’s long-term possibilities again.

Nevertheless, Steph cautions even with the good technical and fundamental signals. While he thinks XRP may probably hit $40, he said that a more realistic target range for it would be $5 to $10. Considering the highly volatile and uncertain market, he advised investors to use their judgment properly.

Steph underlined the need for strategic and cautious investment in view of the unpredictable character of cryptocurrency markets, even though a new all-time high could be on horizon by the end of 2024.

Whales Accumulate 40 Million XRP In 48 Hours – Where’s The Price Headed?

    [ad_1]

Este artículo también está disponible en español.

Popular crypto analyst Ali Martinez shared data suggesting an interesting accumulation trend among XRP investors despite ongoing price uncertainty. According to Martinez, who referenced data from on-chain analytics platform Santiment, XRP whales have made substantial purchases totaling around 40 million XRP within the last 48 hours.

    Related Reading

This significant accumulation trend coincides with a rise in large transactions to and from cryptocurrency exchanges, as highlighted by whale transaction tracker Whale Alerts during the same period.

    Whales Buy Millions Of XRP

In a recent post on social media platform X, Martinez shared a Santiment data chart that illustrates the total holdings of XRP addresses containing between 1 million and 10 million XRP tokens.

He highlighted that these specific cohorts of traders have collectively acquired approximately 40 million XRP over the past 48 hours, amounting to an investment of around $22 million. While this figure might appear modest in comparison to the more substantial movements typically seen from XRP whales, it marks a significant development as it represents the first notable inflow into these wallets since the beginning of the month.

The chart shared by Martinez reveals a concerning trend. The total holdings of these whale wallets have been in a steep decline since the start of October. On October 1, the cumulative holdings for this group were recorded at approximately 3.93 billion XRP.

However, in a matter of days, these wallets experienced a substantial loss of around 130 million XRP, driving their total holdings down to a three-month low of 3.8 billion XRP by October 8. However, recent accumulation by the whale addresses has seen their collective holdings increase to 3.85 billion in the past 24 hours.

According to data from Whale Alerts, there have been multiple instances of large XRP transactions entering and leaving crypto exchanges in the past 24 hours. The largest transaction occurred with the transfer of 104 million XRP tokens worth $55 million from an unknown wallet into a new unknown wallet.

XRP is currently trading at $0.53. Chart: TradingView

Another notable transaction was the transfer of 52 million XRP tokens worth $27.8 million from an unknown wallet into crypto exchange Bybit. A while later, 30 million XRP tokens were transferred from Bybit into another private wallet.

Is XRP Headed To $0.5 Or $0.6?

Current price action shows XRP consolidating between an upper range of $0.54 and a lower range of $0.52 within the past seven days. This lack of clear direction suggests low volatility and a lack of interest among crypto traders, as evidenced by a trading volume decline of approximately 30% in the last 24 hours.

    Related Reading

However, the recent increase in whale holdings could signal a renewed interest among large investors in XRP, hinting at a potential shift in market sentiment as the new week begins. Historically, increases in whale accumulation have often been accompanied by a steady rise in the XRP price. If this trend continues, it could replicate the accumulation seen in September, which propelled XRP to a peak of $0.668.

  • ETH Rally Pushes Profitability To Nearly 70%

ETH Rally Pushes Profitability To Nearly 70%

    [ad_1]

Este artículo también está disponible en español.

Ethereum’s movement last week was full of mixed signals as Spot Ethereum ETFs started to witness good inflows. Notably, ETH has been on a rally since the middle of September, reflecting a 25% gain from the September 6 low of $2,171 as it crossed $2,715 on September 27.

    Related Reading

This rally and the well-anticipated inflows in Spot Ethereum ETFs brought a much-needed breather into the Ethereum ecosystem. According to on-chain data, last week’s price action saw many Ethereum addresses moving into the profitability zone. Particularly, last week’s rally pushed Ethereum’s profitability from 59% of addresses to 69%.

    Ethereum Addresses See Much-Needed Profitability

After enduring weeks of market consolidation and outflows from Spot Ethereum ETFs, Ethereum’s price began an upward trajectory in the middle of September that has reignited investor interest. According to data shared by on-chain analytics platform IntoTheBlock (ITB), the rally has led to more than two-thirds of Ethereum holders being in profit.

The key to understanding this development lies in ITB’s “In/Out of the Money” metric, which plays a crucial role in assessing the profitability of cryptocurrency holders. This metric compares the current market price of Ethereum to the purchase prices recorded for addresses that hold the asset.

By doing so, it calculates which holders are in profit, in loss, or at the break-even point (known as “at the money”). According to this measure, Ethereum has reached its highest profitability levels in nearly two months, a significant indicator of growing bullish sentiment.

The graph below shows that the number of Ethereum addresses in profit reached 85.03 million last week, representing 69.38% of the total Ethereum addresses. At this time, Ethereum was trading at $2,693. Furthermore, the data highlights that at this time, 2.61 million ETH addresses were at the money (neither in loss nor profit), while 34.94 million ETH addresses were in losses.

    ETH Profitability To Keep Rising?

Looking ahead, it is only natural to wonder if the profitability will continue to increase in October. Fortunately, the crypto industry is now reveling in bullish sentiment, especially in light of the recent Fed rate cuts and weakening currencies in some parts of the world.

    Related Reading

According to IntoTheBlock’s social media handle on X, over 80% of ETH volume is now profitable, indicating strong buying support at critical levels. With bullish projections now falling in place, we could see many more addresses and ETH easily crossing into profitability next week.

As Ethereum pushes toward higher price levels, the focus will also turn to key psychological barriers, such as the $3,000 mark. The first step for ETH bulls is to make a clean break above $2,700 next week. This would set the stage for a successful run to $3,000, bringing even more addresses back into profit.

XRP Set To Soar 900% To $31, Analyst Highlights Key Resistance

    [ad_1]

XRP aficionados are ecstatic when market analyst EGRAG predicted an 888% increase in the cryptocurrency’s value. This optimism isn’t just wishful thinking; it’s based on trends seen on XRP’s one-month chart that mirror the cryptocurrency’s rapid success in 2017. As XRP struggles to reclaim prior highs, many traders wonder if this is the beginning of another bull run.

EGRAG’s chart analysis shows that XRP almost touched the red rising support line four times. The pattern is similar to the price movements this currency experienced during the 2017 bull run as XRP popped from a value of $0.003 to a solid $3.31 in January 2018.The repeat of this pattern suggests that XRP may soon embark on a similar course.

    Breaking Through Key Resistance Levels

But what would make XRP reach such an explosion? According to EGRAG, the first big resistance stands at the all-time high of $3.31. He feels that when this price will be recaptured, it will lay the groundwork for a rally.

Interestingly, EGRAG implies that just 20% of the gains observed in 2017 could pave the way for a new rise, matching the important Fibonacci extension level of $31.

If it does break to $31, that will be a reflection of market sentiment at the moment and might even draw more investors in. Statistical data shows that in previous bull runs, price milestones greatly influenced market psychology. In fact, the rise from $0.003 to $3.31 was not only influenced by numbers but also because people saw XRP as something that would revolutionize the entire crypto space.

    XRP Price Forecast

However, the recent estimates given by CoinCodex add more optimism to this view. The crypto price prediction site anticipated a possible increase in the price of XRP by 19.78% by the end of October 28, 2024, and it could peak high to $0.71033.

This is because the market sentiment is seen as bullish, with the Fear & Greed Index spotted at 64, representing investor greed. A greed rating sometimes causes a new increase in price, making this a quite attractive opportunity for the potential buyers to take action.

Throughout the month, XRP has recorded 16 out of 30 days in the green, which translates into a positive rate of 53%. Given that the price volatility is low at 3.73%, the above statistics paint a pretty rosy picture for traders eager to make a profit when there’s a breakout. Optimism is palpable and traders are focusing their hawkish eyes on critical resistance points that will probably act as important hurdles going forward.
