This significant agreement marks a pivotal milestone for AeroGuard as it expands its training on a global scale to professionally prepare future pilots for the world’s leading airlines.

    Within this agreement, AeroGuard will be the flight training provider for China Airlines’ cadet pilots, further establishing AeroGuard’s global reputation for high-quality pilot training. Throughout this 11-month program approved by the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA), cadets will apply directly through China Airlines and be screened by the airline before arriving at AeroGuard. Selected cadets will join AeroGuard’s Phoenix, Arizona, location where they will experience an exceptional flight training environment with year-round flying weather, ideal airspace availability and complexity, and additional student support. 

    AeroGuard was selected by China Airlines to train its cadet pilots due to its structured curriculum and high-quality ab initio training programs, with 20+ years of experience producing qualified and capable pilots for the world’s leading airlines. China Airlines is one of Taiwan’s largest national airlines and within this partnership, AeroGuard will provide a pipeline of highly skilled pilots for the airline. 

    China Airlines will join other renowned airlines that have selected AeroGuard as the flight school for their cadet training programs, including Hong Kong’s leading airline Cathay Pacific. AeroGuard also recently announced its selection by Air India to train its cadet pilots as part of a new similar agreement for the Indian flag carrier.

AeroGuard currently operates a fleet of 100 aircraft and over 200+ instructors and expects to more than double its fleet size with a recent order of 90 additional planes from Piper Aircraft, in addition to further acquisitions. Through its large U.S. program, 600+ students are also expected to become instructors to build their 1,500 hours to fly for the U.S. airlines. From this growth, AeroGuard expects to double its capacity to train up to 2,000 students across its three campuses.

    Within this new partnership, AeroGuard will train the next generation of pilots for Air India through a custom-developed course where students will obtain FAA licenses ready for DGCA conversion. Through AeroGuard’s high-quality curriculum, experienced instructors, expansive training facilities and capacity, AeroGuard will play a pivotal role in supporting the world-class airline’s aggressive growth plans. Following Air India recruitment and screening, pilot cadets will complete Ground School in India before training at AeroGuard’s flagship Phoenix, Arizona, campus that offers an ideal flight training environment with 350+ VFR days a year, extensive local airspace, and consistent student support. 

    To support this high demand for its training, AeroGuard has been expanding its capacity and plans to train up to 2,000 student pilots across its three U.S. campuses. As part of this growth, AeroGuard recently placed a 90 aircraft order with Piper Aircraft, significantly increasing their current fleet of 100 planes, alongside plans to add a further 25 planes throughout 2024. Additionally, AeroGuard maintains a current population of 200+ instructors, with an additional 600+ U.S. students training to be instructors, as part of their path to 1,500 Hours for airline employment in the U.S.

    AeroGuard Flight Training Center, a global leader in providing career-focused flight training, is excited to announce a recent aircraft expansion deal with Piper Aircraft where it will receive 90 new Piper Archers. 

    With this deal, AeroGuard will more than double its fleet in size, bringing it to over 200 aircraft. This order signifies AeroGuard’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for pilot training and the exponential growth the school has seen this year within its current courses. As a result, AeroGuard expects the capacity to consistently train over 2,000 student pilots across its three U.S. campuses, preparing student pilots for professional careers at the commercial airlines.

    In addition to this order of 90 aircraft, AeroGuard will have added 25 additional planes to its rapidly expanding fleet by the end of 2023. AeroGuard also recently expanded its Phoenix, Arizona, location, growing capacity by 30% with the addition of a new building. 

    AeroGuard Flight Training Center has seen significant growth in enrollment this year, especially in its domestic training programs. Its Pilot Pathway Program, offered in partnership with SkyWest Airlines, provides students with a clear path to their future career with guaranteed interviews at each stage, ongoing mentorship, and tuition reimbursements. AeroGuard also became the Flight Training provider for Arizona State University’s Professional Flight degree in 2022, allowing students to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree and the 7 FAA ratings and certifications to become a commercial pilot.
