  • The Best Under-$500 Designer Buys On MyTheresa—Period

The Best Under-$500 Designer Buys On MyTheresa—Period

    [ad_1]

It’s very easy to be lured in by all the $1,000+ dresses, handbags, and shoes that litter the virtual shelves on MyTheresa.com, but that’s not all the German retailer’s storage facilities play home to. I’d know, I just thoroughly examined practically every item on its site. Hidden among those major investments is an equally alluring selection of under-$500 buys with all the same designer labels, from Celine and Gucci to Jacquemus and Toteme.

Given that you probably don’t have the luxury of dedicating an entire afternoon to online shopping like I do—being a fashion editor is fun!—I went ahead and lined up some of my more affordable MyTheresa finds below, with highlights including a 10/10 holiday party dress option, plenty of elevated basics, and the designer sunglasses that practically every Who What Wear editor owns at least one pair of. All of that and more is ripe for picking and just a scroll away.

  • I’m on a Strict Budget—Here Are 16 Ways I’m Making My Old Black Coat Feel New

I’m on a Strict Budget—Here Are 16 Ways I’m Making My Old Black Coat Feel New

    [ad_1]

Anyone residing in a cold climate can tell you that the romanticism surrounding colder weather doesn’t last that long. Sure, we all love spending copious hours researching the best coat brands, shopping for cozy sweaters, and finding new ways to style boots, but once those temperatures drop, the rose-colored glasses come off. Frigid temperatures often require one to choose between looking fashionable or, well, freezing. As much as the cool girls like to look good, those colder temperatures aren’t it. Even the most stylish people can fall into a fashion rut during winter because it’s tempting to throw on the coziest possible outfit—even if you wore it days ago.

There’s no shame in being an outfit repeater, as it’s an essential part of building personal style and mitigating the fashion industry’s impact on the planet in the long-term. It still doesn’t negate the fact that no one wants to feel like their staples are stale. Any item can lose its luster during the long stretch of winter, but none can go from beloved to boring as quickly as the black coat. Although this outerwear is a quintessential part of any wardrobe, it can be easy to succumb to the temptation to ditch it in order to buy a trendier coat. But you don’t have to buy a new coat to break free from the winter style blues.

Black coats can feel bold with a bit of creative styling. In an effort to prove that point, I took the liberty of rounding up 16 outfit ideas from women around the world to show how to wear a black coat. Plus, I identified the styling hacks they used to make this outerwear feel trend-forward and shopped out the key pieces you’ll need to re-create the looks for yourself. Whether you’re on a tight shopping budget or want to find a way to make the black coat in the back of your closet feel brand-new, there are solutions ahead for you.

  • I’m Revamping My Wardrobe and My Apartment—30 H&M Finds That Are Doing the Job

I’m Revamping My Wardrobe and My Apartment—30 H&M Finds That Are Doing the Job

    [ad_1]

While I usually browse H&M’s new arrivals for clothing choices, I’ve been eyeing the brand’s home selection more often as of late. I recently moved into a new apartment, and although I knew the retailer offered homewares, I was unaware of how good the selection actually was. From storage that won’t be an eyesore to uniquely beautiful lamps, I’ve most definitely been sleeping on this shopping destination. I’ve always dreamed of shopping for a bigger apartment, but I think I momentarily forgot about the part where homewares can run quite high. (The price of rugs alone still shocks me.)

As I perused through the H&M site for hours, I knew it would be wrong to keep these stellar finds to myself. I love a home haul, but I couldn’t help but scroll through the pages of clothing and accessories as well. Whatever it is you’re looking for, there are plenty of products to go around in this mix. Remember, H&M is notorious for products on its site selling out quickly, so act fast. I know I already have quite a few from this list in my cart as I speak.

The Shopbop Sale Called: It’s Begging You to Buy These Under-$100 Fall Basics

    [ad_1]

Here’s a secret: I hardly ever buy basics at full price. One of the perks of my job as a fashion editor is getting to know when sales are going to happen in advance, and I’d happily wait patiently in order to get my elevated staples at majorly discounted prices, especially when those staples would be under $100. Shopbop happens to be one of the retailers I’ll always wait patiently for. I live for a great Shopbop sale, especially since the retailer carries all my favorite designers, from Levi’s to Staud, and the wardrobe essentials that I wear regularly.

Lucky for us, Shopbop is having its big Style Event, one of the major fall sales for the editor-favorite retailer. Now through October 19, you can take 15% off orders of $200+, 20% off orders of $500+, and 25% off orders of $800+ with the promo code STYLE. I’ve already scrolled through the entire site to bring you the best staple fall buys worthy of your wallet this season, from perfect straight-leg jeans to versatile black dresses and essential tank tops, all under $100.

    Don’t walk—run—before these 44 basics sell out.

I’m Pretty Confident These 34 Nordstrom Items Will Sell Out Before Black Friday

    [ad_1]

Nordstrom routinely fills its new-arrivals section with fresh merchandise. Many of the pieces in question are often of utmost interest because of their chicness and versatility, but given their popularity, the coolest items don’t stay in stock for long. Below, you’ll find an edit of new items that I think will sell out quickly due to the number of people already viewing the items (you can see the number on the product page) and/or the overall desirability because they’re quite fashion-forward with modern design details.

In fact, I bet the items coming your way will actually sell out before even Black Friday comes around, which is only a few weeks away at this point. So if you see something that you love or want to get a jump start on holiday gift shopping, you may want to consider adding these pieces to your cart before the stock levels decline. • I Should Gate-Keep This Brand On Nordy, But I Won’t—23 Finds You’ll Thank Me For

I Should Gate-Keep This Brand On Nordy, But I Won’t—23 Finds You’ll Thank Me For

    [ad_1]

Given how many stories we publish daily, it’s essential that we as editors know our way around all of the big retailers. We each have our own unique time-saving techniques for filtering through thousands of items, allowing us to produce all of the content you see on Who What Wear. My personal go-to method for sifting through product-packed online stores is to focus on brand discovery and then hit up all of the chicest, most relevant brands first. That way, I never have to go through tens of thousands of options. I only really see what I already know will be good.

For a store like Nordstrom, this is especially critical since new items are being added all the time and the sheer volume of pieces is astronomical. The one brand I always type into the search bar first when I’m writing anything having to do with luxe-in-looks-but-not-in-price finds? Sophie Rue. Somehow, the brand, which is also sold on Revolve and keeps prices mostly between $80 and $400, doesn’t get a ton of attention. Hopefully, after you scroll through all of the newest items on Nordstrom from the brand, that won’t be the case any longer.

PSA: The Perfect Wireless Bras for Bigger Busts Do Exist

    [ad_1]

Let’s do a little exercise: Think back to the most irritating fashion-related gripe you’ve dealt with. What was it? Uncomfortable shoes, perhaps? Or dealing with stains on suede? For me, my greatest pet peeve is underwire bras. There’s nothing worse than the discomfort caused by the underwire poking you in the side of the ribcage or it being so constricting that it causes indents. I’ve got beef with underwire bras, and I’m guessing if you click into this story, you do too.

Of course, finding alternatives to wireless bras is possible—bralettes wire-free versions, and sports bras exist. Now, if you’re someone with a larger bust, chances are you’ve struggled to find a wire-free bra that’s actually supportive. And in searching for a comfortable bra that offers great cup, side-support, or back support, you’ve probably made concessions. But what if I told you that you didn’t have to settle? You can finally ditch underwire bras once and for all—if you keep reading.

I’ve scoured across major retailers and lingerie brands to find the 24 best wireless bras for big busts. Based on reviews, quality, size inclusivity, editorial perspective, and price ranges, these bras will solve all your lingerie-related gripes.

Almost Everything on Everlane Is on Sale—These Are the 23 Basics I’m Buying ASAP

    [ad_1]

Remember when Everlane first came to be, and it had like 10 items? Yeah, times have changed. The Everlane Friends & Family sale just launched and it’s over 400 items deep, all of which are marked down by 25% through October 15. I’ve actually been shopping for basics at Everlane since I purchased my first item, the Box-Cut Tee (back when it was one of approximately ten items that the brand made). Ever since then, I’ve been a fan of its sweaters, T-shirts, outerwear, leggings, and so on. The prices are already quite affordable (especially for the quality), so at 25% off, you’re really getting some deals. Consider it the perfect time to stock up.

I scrolled through the hundreds of Everlane sale items so you don’t have to and concluded that these 23 finds are 100% worth adding to your cart. I personally can vouch for some of them, as I own and wear them on repeat, and the rest I’d buy in a heartbeat. • My Style Goal is Schiaparelli, But My Budget is $150—29 Buys I’m Urgently After

My Style Goal is Schiaparelli, But My Budget is $150—29 Buys I’m Urgently After

    [ad_1]

Ever since Daniel Roseberry took the helm of Schiaparelli as Creative Director in 2019, the storied French fashion house has captured—and held—the industry’s attention. Elsa Schiaparelli founded her namesake label in the late 1920s and went on to become one of the foremost haute couture designers in Paris. Today, the brand’s playful surrealist aesthetic has earned a loyal following among celebrities, notably Kylie Jenner who’s erupted the internet with each new Schiaparelli look she wears, whether it’s a realistic lion gown or a shimmery keyhole-cutout number.

Roseberry re-established a ready-to-wear collection to accompany Schiaparelli couture and the collections have instantly become my favorites each season. They’ve established a sartorial language of retro glamour with signature silhouettes like nipped-in waistlines, sculptural blazers and beautiful draping. Even the ready-to-wear collections are steeped with couture-level craftsmanship, which means that coveting Schiaparelli and owning a piece from the brand are two very different things. Luckily, I put my fashion-editor lens on the affordable market and pulled out a selection of buys that give the Schiaparelli effect without topping $150.

  • I’m a Purse Snob, But These Sub-$300 Nordstrom Handbags Pass the Test

I’m a Purse Snob, But These Sub-$300 Nordstrom Handbags Pass the Test

    [ad_1]

Even though I’m long overdue for a closet clean-out now that I’m dipping back into my fall-and-winter clothing storage, I can’t bring myself to clear out my handbag bin. I prefer to use the term “collector” over “hoarder” when describing the tens of bags I’ve added to my wardrobe over the last few years, even though my boyfriend would disagree. Did I take over one of our tiny closets to store just my handbags? I plead the fifth.

While one of my New Year’s resolutions was to limit the number of purses I own at the start of the year, I must admit these Nordstrom finds are tempting. Nordstrom‘s clothing is some of the best out there, but after spending hours scrolling the retailer’s handbag offerings, I’m pleasantly shocked at the number of chic and affordable bags that work for every lifestyle and price point. Some of the best statement bags are ringing in under $50, while classic silhouettes from designer labels are nowhere near the four-figure investment price range everyone associates with quality. Payday is on the horizon, and I know exactly where my money will go.

Below are the best affordable Nordstrom handbags at every price range, including tons of great finds under $50 and $100.

Pop Off, Amazon—These 40 Items Are Giving Designer for Way Less

    [ad_1]

Confession: I’ve never understood the appeal of shopping for clothing on Amazon. I know that most people find ecstatic joy in stumbling upon affordable dupes from the retailer or can’t fathom living without ultra-fast shipping. But for me, it didn’t really ever fully speak to me… until recently. With inflation high and winter coming, it’s more necessary than ever to try to save a bit more money where you can. For some, that means not buying into every single trend or investing in quality staples. But there is another way to still shop for a new season without spending all your money—ahem, Amazon.

As much as my former self would hate to admit it,  Amazon does have items that look designer if you don’t mind digging for them. If you’re not one to spend hours scrolling through pages searching for the best sale finds or you generally hold harsh feelings toward the retailer, don’t fret. Ahead, I’ve taken the liberty of rounding up the 40 best fashion finds on Amazon, all under $150. Some of the picks included have been discounted for the retailer’s Prime Big Deal Days event, while others are just too good to pass up. Either way, these luxe-looking items will prove to the skeptics and the fans that Amazon does pop off from time to time.
