Surprisingly, This Is the Must-Have Gear You Need for Your Next Workout

    [ad_1]

Whether it’s sweltering outside or you’re doing an intense sweat-inducing workout, not being able to dry off is, well, gross. I find this is especially true in the latter situation. I hate feeling like I’m drowning in my own dirt and sweat when I’m trying to push or challenge myself. I start to think about the sweat and only the sweat, which does not help my focus at all.

Now, there are a lot of sweat-wicking activewear pieces out there, from leggings to sports bras to tops. But one thing I didn’t realize was a total game changer until recently was also making sure that I had moisture-wicking underwear. You see, not only are you keeping yourself dry, but you’re also making sure that your underwear isn’t becoming a breeding ground for bacteria. I know—just thinking about it gives me the creeps.

This Might Sound Cocky, But My Fall Wish List Is the Only One You Need to See

    [ad_1]

Now that my summer travels are behind me, I’ve officially closed the chapter on warm-weather clothing and turned all my sartorial attention to fall. And, if I’m being honest, I couldn’t be happier about it. I mean, beachwear and crochet are great, but I’m ready to forget about all things hot and focus on getting cozy.

I know I say this every year, but brands have really outdone themselves this season. Each time I peruse my favorite sites’ new arrivals, my wish list multiplies to numbers that, quite frankly, are unfeasible, requiring me to cut it down. But before I do, I’m sharing everything I’m eyeing, even if I can’t realistically buy it all. From tops and skirts to jackets, sweaters, and dresses, you’ll find the ultimate roundup of everything worth seeing for fall below. Ready to get shopping? Just keep scrolling.

  • I’m Throwing All My Money at This Secret Amazon Brand That Fashion Insiders Love

I’m Throwing All My Money at This Secret Amazon Brand That Fashion Insiders Love

    [ad_1]

There’s nothing quite like looking around your closet and seemingly thinking you have nothing to wear, despite the overwhelming piles of clothes taking up copious amounts of space. While I’ve been cutting back on my spending and buying habits for quite some time now, there’s something quite compelling about finding an affordable basic online and having it show up on your doorstep the next day. That’s where The Drop comes in.

Amazon’s in-house fashion line wasn’t on my bingo card for favorite brands of 2023, but after spending hours scrolling through site offerings under a very tempting two-day Prime delivery deal, I’m converted. While The Drop works with influencers to curate size-inclusive garments and cohesive collections, the best items lie within the brand’s year-round basics collection. No joke, after stumbling upon a few of my favorite fall trends deeply discounted, I ran to tell my editor friends about the discovery. To my pleasant shock, most of them admitted they’re low-key fans of The Drop, stocking up on the label’s fun pieces and timeless staples. If that isn’t a sign to jump on the bandwagon, I don’t know what is.

Below, shop the best affordable items from Amazon’s secret hidden fashion line my editor friends and I can’t stop thinking about.

4 Ways I Plan to Wear This Under-$100 Runway-Approved Accessory Come Fall

    [ad_1]

If there’s one thing I learned from the latest runway shows, it’s that belts are back and bigger than ever. My favorite trend just so happens to be something we refer to as “unnecessary belts” at Who What Wear HQ. As I write this, I am wearing a dress that doesn’t require a belt at all with a massive belt, just for the sake of fashion. People are piling up on belts in places you wouldn’t even expect so I decided to take full advantage of this trend and make all of my outfits a lot more interesting.

This fall, I want to buy a few different types of belts so I’m keeping my budget under $100 and loading up on many different options. I’ll be swapping between silver and gold hardware, rotating between thick and thin, and picking colors you really just wouldn’t expect—just wait until you see this belt collection of mine. Here are the styles that I’m currently considering.

But first, let’s discuss the styling inspiration:

Fall is hurdling in our direction faster than ever this year. I still can’t believe we’re only a few weeks away from colorful leaves and cozy sweaters. Because the best items tend to sell out before the season even starts, I’ve already gone shopping (more than once) and have thoughts on my latest visit to the Nordstrom dressing room.

There are so many items I’ve drooled over online that I didn’t end up taking home with me in the end. The in-person test never fails, so I’m glad I gave these items a go. And I promise you they won’t disappoint. Below, feel free to peruse my own personal Nordstrom shopping cart.

My Favorite Going-Out Outfit Includes This Cool-Girl Staple—38 Under-$100 Finds

    [ad_1]

To know me is to know I simply don’t leave the house without good reason. Dinner and drinks past 8 p.m. during prime Real Housewives of Salt Lake City watching time? Most definitely not. I can, however, be convinced if a particular outing involves an equally-as-compelling outfit.

Enter the classic going-out top. For many cool girls on Instagram and starlets, it’s often the first thing they turn to when picking out something to wear for a night out. The term noticeably leaves a ton of room for interpretation. Maybe it’s a sparkly, bedazzled crop top, a silky halter-neck, or perhaps one of the dozens of options on the market right now, all clocking in at under $100. With new styles coming in hot every day on our favorite retailers like Zara, Revolve, and Shopbop, there’s quite literally a going-out top for every occasion you could possibly think of. Plus, they go especially well with jeans or a classic pair of black trousers, no matter the occasion. Versatility rating? Major score.

Below, shop some of the best affordable going-out tops perfect for after-office drinks, a date night, or a squad outing. Trust me—you’ll have to resist buying every single one on this list.

  • Alaïa’s the Goal, $150’s the Budget—31 Chic Nordstrom and Zara Items That’ll Do

Alaïa’s the Goal, $150’s the Budget—31 Chic Nordstrom and Zara Items That’ll Do

    [ad_1]

From its viral fishnet flats to its celeb-packed spring 2024 show (which was casually set on a footbridge overlooking the Seine in Paris), there’s no question that Alaïa is the brand on the tip of the entire fashion industry’s tongue right now. Founded in Paris in the late 1970s by Tunisian couturier Azzedine Alaïa, the house is most known for its clingy, form-fitting silhouettes—the designer was nicknamed in the media the “King of Cling” during his heyday in the ’80s and ’90s—and laser-cut accessories, from corset belts to handbags.

Today, a new designer sits at the helm of the brand, creative director Peter Mulier, but while his unique design style is certainly apparent, Alaïa’s enormous legacy remains fully in tact, with his signature cling and cuts continuing to act as symbols of the house. And with the return of ’80s trends like cuff bracelets, nipped-in waists, sculptural shapes, and more, a perfect storm’s been brewing for Alaïa’s biggest moment yet.

Unfortunately, as much as I’d like to line the racks of my closet with hooded body-cons and netted footwear, doing so isn’t always realistic when you’re shopping on a budget. That’s why I went ahead and rounded up 31 under-$150 pieces that’ll get you the Alaïa look for less from Nordstrom and Zara.

5 High-Quality Denim Brands That Look Designer But Cost Under $200

    [ad_1]

While I’m a big fan of Khaite and Toteme jeans, filling my closet with these $300 to $500 jeans would be costly. I balance things out with more affordable denim. And honestly, I’ve found that my jeans from the more affordable brands are some of the most worn in my closet.

I’ve tried more affordable denim brands than I have the time to list, but I will say that not all are created equal, as I’m sure you know. I’ve tried plenty of duds, but none have been from the brands I’m here to talk about today, all of which offer the bulk (or all) of their denim collections for under $200.

There’s a good chance you’re already familiar with these popular brands I’m highlighting, but if you’re like me, you have denim on the brain again with fall approaching. Therefore, I’m just offering a little reminder that these brands excel at affordable jeans, and I chose the best current pairs to shop for. Scroll to do so.

With a new season on the horizon, I am ready for a closet refresh. In fact, fall is my favorite time of year, so this is my moment to shine. Thankfully, as a shopping editor, I have a constant eye on all of the new arrivals sections allowing me to scoop up the best of the best fall pieces right as they drop. • My Editor Senses Are Tingling—Nordstrom’s New $60 Flats Are About to Go Viral

My Editor Senses Are Tingling—Nordstrom’s New $60 Flats Are About to Go Viral

    [ad_1]

As a fashion editor, it’s my job to predict how the internet will react to new releases, runway collections, collaborations, and more. It’s not enough to identify a trend once it has already caught on. You have to spot them early and take a chance. Well, that’s exactly what I’m doing today after noticing that Open Edit, an in-house Nordstrom brand editors love, had dropped a pair of new Mary-Jane flats in two colorways. At just $60, these shoes sent my editor senses tingling, a sure sign I’d just found a future hit.

Named Regina, the flats feature a slightly pointed toe and delicate top strap—details that immediately reminded me of other offerings I’d seen in the designer shoe section of Nordstrom’s website, where pairs by The Row, Aeyde, and Prada can be found. The big difference, of course, is that those flats go for hundreds of dollars or more, and these will only set you back $60. Or, if you buy both colors, which might have to be my move, $120.

Keep scrolling to shop Open Edit’s Regina flat before the world catches wind of this just-launched style and buys up every last pair. Trust me. You’ll regret it if you don’t.

The Fashion Set Can’t Stop Wearing This $58 Game-Changing Tank Top

    [ad_1]

There’s nothing quite like getting your hands on a viral fashion find before the internet sells it out. Today’s case study in Instagrammable fashion involves Reformation’s beloved bateau-neck tank tops. The It girl-friendly brand is the fashion set’s go-to label come summertime. But ever since Sofia Richie’s timeless style altered our brain chemistry and defined months of summer trends, I’ve been drifting more toward Reformation’s basics, namely, their under-$100 items that look triple the price.

After scrolling TikTok one night, I realized it wasn’t just me. I saw at least five videos of fashion people and Gen Zers showing off their Reformation hauls. And the one item in every haul? The Dusk knit tank top. At $58, it’s one of the most affordable things on the brand’s website, not to mention one of the most classic. If you’re looking for a low-cost, high-joy piece to go with everything in your closet, look no further. I visited Reformation’s Upper East Side store to get one but left with three.

While there are trendy items I’ve loved for months, my latest obsession hasn’t quite hit the mainstream yet, meaning every color is in stock. Major win. Below, shop the viral boat-neck tank top trend and get a few ideas on how to style it.

34 Under-$150 Accessories That Will Elevate My Fall Wardrobe Instantly

    [ad_1]

Coco Chanel is notorious for saying, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.” While that may be true in the summertime, I suggest doing exactly the opposite in the fall. Whether you’re layering sweaters on sweaters or just piling up with fall accessories, sometimes just one extra item will make your outfit feel way more elevated. Just be strategic about which one you pick.

This fact may surprise you, but you don’t have to splurge as much as you think on those fall accessories that will instantly elevate your look. A simple $50 choker or even a $20 hat can make your outfit feel so 2023. I’m loading up on skinny scarfs, statement pendants, crafty hats, and more. Since my shopping list has already begun, explore it below.

As much as I’d like to fill my wardrobe with best-of-the-best designer pieces, that’s not always (aka rarely) a viable option for a 27-year-old like me who simultaneously lives in Manhattan with a shoe addiction and a tendency to buy multiple coffees a day. And yes, I am pretending I don’t splurge on a salad and fries every Saturday afternoon like clockwork. But since crafting a closet that allows me to put together outfits on the fly that always appear elegant, timeless, and chic is my ultimate goal in life, I’ve had to find ways to cut corners, sourcing pieces that aren’t necessarily priced like designer but look the part nonetheless.

Since I’m currently laser-focused on adding some necessary fall pieces to my rotation before the season begins, I thought I’d share the wealth by offering up a few of the items that, due to their on-budget prices but outside-of-budget appearances, are high on my shopping list.
