  • Mariah Carey is the ultimate Christmas queen in cowboy hat, furry coat and leather boots combo

    [ad_1]

As the joke goes, come November 30th, Mariah Carey starts defrosting, ready to take over the  Christmas season once more. It doesn’t feel truly festive until we’ve heard the iconic first line to her 1994 hit All I Want for Christmas Is You.

And it certainly isn’t an office party until someone has wailed the (very high) lyrics in the direction of their inappropriate office crush.

The pop icon spends Christmas every year in Aspen – the snow-covered playground of the rich and famous, who all flock to the famous ski slopes and quaint town for a dose of festive fun that looks like it was pulled straight out of a Netflix rom-com.

Mariah’s Christmas traditions include trips to the snowy landscapes of Aspen, occasionally a sleigh ride (with a real reindeer, no less), and rustling up her late father’s linguini recipe. Her Christmas style? Unabashedly festive. Think sequins and fluffy trims on everything

2025 is no different for Mariah, and she has just arrived in the gorgeous Colorado spot, and immediately headed to the iconic Kemo Sabe – a luxury Western clothing store beloved by visitors to the area.

The brand offers high-end Western-inspired clothing and accessories, and it’s their cowboy hats that undoubtedly get the most buzz. They offer a range of customisation in store, and A-listers that have flocked to get their mitts on the swanky merchandise include Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Kendall Jenner.

Those whose pockets might not stretch to a cowboy hat will be pleased to know that the iconic store also offers branded socks – a steal at $35.

Why is Aspen so popular with celebrities?

Quite simply, Aspen offers world-class skiing opportunities, extreme luxury and most importantly of all – privacy. The secluded town means minimal paparazzi, so A-listers can relax in a way that more populous destinations such as LA and London make tricky.

Especially in the world of social media, fans often feel entitled to unfettered access to their favourite celebrities, with instant content available 24/7 at the mere push of a button. Christmas should be a time of relaxing and stepping back from the day-to-day rat race, so it isn’t surprising that so many of the über-rich and famous head to more private destinations at this time of year.

Kemo Sabe wasn’t the only store Mariah popped into on arrival in Aspen. She was also papped outside the Gucci store – naturally – and in fact, in these fun snaps she is wearing the Italian fashion house’s boots – emblazoned with the luxury label’s logo.

Mariah has long been a fan of the brand, her love of high fashion has seen her sport Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Prada on this vacation too. H! Fashion‘s Style Editor, trend expert (and Christmas lover) Orion Scott notes that: “Mariah’s distinct brand of pairing seriously luxurious labels with a cheeky festive wink plus a sequin or two, has become her signature style – not just at Christmas, but all year round. It’s fashionable yet fun. Chic, yet a little cheesy. And we love her for it.”

And actually, Mariah isn’t the only pop superstar to fall in love with these glorious Gucci boots. They were, in fact, also spotted on Radial Optimism singer Dua Lipa earlier this month.  Callum Turner‘s wife-to-be opted to pair them with the matching skirt and blouse for a serious dose of outfit inspo.

Mariah also has lots to celebrate at the moment – her iconic Christmas hit All I Want for Christmas Is You (released an astonishing 31 years ago has reached top spot yet again in the Billboard Hot 100.

We might love Christmas, but no one loves Christmas quite like Mariah.

  • Jennifer Lopez perfects the sheer dress trend in a sparkly lace gown and sky-high heels

    [ad_1]

Despite what people might tell you, the sheer dress trend is still very much the leading aesthetic in the style sphere at the moment, and Jennifer Lopez just proved exactly why. On Tuesday night, the 56-year-old actress, singer, songwriter and mother was spotted appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and as expected, she dressed to impress for the occasion.

Currently on the promotional tour for her newest musical drama film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, the Hollywood Heavyweight proved there’s more than one way to promote a film, turning to her impeccable style game to get fans chatting.

© Todd Owyoung/NBC via Getty Image
JLo’s dreamy dress for the occasion would be perfect for New Year’s Eve

Putting a festive twist on a cult classic, Jennifer turned to Elie Saab’s Resort ‘26 collection, settling on a dazzling sparkly gown, complete with billowing sleeves and beige luxe lace accents. On the runway, the dress was shown as a plunging neckline style, but to keep things more modest, JLo and her stylist Mariel Haenn added a lacey slip underneath.

Sequins and lace are always a good idea when it comes to creating a striking look

To complete the shimmering look, JLo wore her long bronde locks up in a low ponytail, leaving out a few face-framing tendrils. As for her glam, glowy and bronzed was clearly the brief for the evening. Pairing a subtle brown smoky eye with sharp contouring and a lick of tonal gloss.

Her glowy makeup look added an extra touch of elegance

Accessories-wise, Jenny from the Block kept things simple, adding a simple gold pendant necklace around her neck, a pair of drop earrings and a set of sky-high platform heels.

As far as ‘naked dressing’ goes, JLo is a major fan. Earlier this week, she opted for a semi-sheer Harris Reed option to attend the New York Screening of her new film alongside ex-husband Ben Affleck. Just weeks before that, she was seen styling a plunging, floral Roberto Cavalli gown over a set of white briefs at the YES Gala.

Her Grammy look was utterly spectacular

While on the topic of sheer gowns that have garnered the attention of fashion lovers, earlier this year, she wore a shimmering Stephane Rolland skirt with a black longsleeve top to The Grammys.

With party season (finally) in reach, a touch of sheer and shimmer is always a good idea, and Jennifer’s recent look is the blueprint for what a great soirée ensemble should be.

  • Christopher Briney just took style notes from Hailey Bieber in a baggy suit and leather jacket combo

    [ad_1]

Move over Romeo Beckham and Jacob Elordi, there’s a new stylish gentleman in town, and he’s making serious fashion-forward moves on the world stage. The Summer I Turned Pretty’s leading lad, Christopher Briney, has entered the chat, and he’s taking his style notes from the one and only, Hailey Bieber

Spotted on the front row of Saint Laurent’s recent SS26 Paris Fashion Week show, the 27-year-old American actor gave a lesson in elevated tailored dressing, layering an unlikely pairing but somehow making it chicer than chic.

    © WWD via Getty Images
    Christopher’s look perfected autumn layering

Dressed in head-to-toe Saint Laurent for the occasion, Christopher sported a baggy light grey suit, complete with a crisp white shirt and burgundy polka dot tie, heeled leather loafers and an oversized vintage-esque luxe leather bomber jacket.

To add an extra layer of edge, he added a set of black sunglasses

The whole ensemble oozed It-boy charm and fashion fans couldn’t help but feel they’d seen the look before. They’d be almost right.

Back in October of last year, Hailey Bieber hosted an intimate star-studded dinner party to celebrate the release of her Rhode Butter Barrier. For the occasion, she decided to don the exact same suit and tie from Saint Laurent that Christopher wore just days ago, but in a baggier style.

Though Hailey’s office-core ensemble didn’t feature a leather jacket, it’s common knowledge amongst the style-obsessed that the mother of one loves an oversized bomber jacket. More often than not she can be seen in a leather jacket of some sort, most recently styling a bomber option with jeans and flip-flops to attend a dinner in Los Angeles.

Christopher Briney looks sharp in his designer suit at the "The Summer I Turned Pretty" - Season Three, Prime Video Photocall© WireImage
The American actor looked sharp in his designer suit

As far as Christopher’s style game goes, this isn’t the first time he’s been deemed the internet’s most fashionable male face. To attend the finale photocall of the hit Amazon Prime romance show in Paris last month, Christopher once again proved the power of a sleek suiting moment, opting for a black single-breasted co-ord from Balmain’s Resort 2026 collection. The icing on top of the outfit cake, however, was the addition of his mini Anthem embossed crocodile buckle clutch bag, which he held proudly.

It was about time the fashion sphere got a new male style muse, considering Jacob and Romeo can’t hold the whole industry on their shoulders on their own, we couldn’t be more pleased that the new male muse loves a designer moment like the rest of us.

  • Millie Bobby Brown schools us on how to style track pants and Crocs the cool-girl way

    [ad_1]

When it comes to comfy clothes that look chicer than chic, Millie Bobby Brown’s wardrobe is filled to the brim.

When she’s not donning designer at lavish events, more often than not, the 21-year-old actress and entrepreneur can be found sporting cosy combos from her namesake fashion label, Florence by Mills.

However, her most recent look combines both of the above.

Sharing a three-image carousel post to her Instagram on Monday night, the Stranger Things star schooled us in how to elevate comfortable basics.

    © @milliebobbybrown
Millie captioned the post “Making cozy iconic” and we can’t help but agree

Donning a purple-toned tank top with a khaki green ruffle bubble hem from fan favourite fashion brand PH5 and a set of soft and sporty lilac trackpants from her own brand, Millie proved enviable ensembles needn’t be luxe and lavish.

If you’re a fan of Millie, you’ll know that when she does get glam, she goes all out. For makeup, she opted for a glowing skin base, a touch of rosy pink blush on the apples of her cheeks, a bold brow and a lick of dewy lipstick.

Millie Bobby Brown poses sitting on a couch wearing lilac track pants, crocs and a tank top© @milliebobbybrown
Millie added a pair of drop pearl earrings to complete the look

For hair, she wore her brunette bob out in a middle part with loose curls.

To complete the ultimate weekend look, Millie styled her purple combo with a pair of socks in the same dusty lavender shade and a pair of the new Crocs Cozzzy clogs. The fuzzy slippers also feature a selection of crystal and pearl embellishments on the heel piece, elevating them to be a cultivated fashion statement.

If you’re a fan of Millie and her endeavours, you’ll likely already know that last week she was announced as the official face of the new Crocs range, spotted styling an array of products in the brand’s official promotional snaps.

Though we’re sad to be saying adieu to the summer season, Autumn couldn’t come soon enough for those ready to style cosy comforts like Millie.

  • Anna Wintour’s 10 best fashion moments of all time

Anna Wintour’s 10 best fashion moments of all time

    [ad_1]

Feared and revered, Anna Wintour is at the helm of global fashion.

The Vogue editor is fashion’s sphinx, sitting in her bob and sunglasses like she’s guarding the gates of chic. Dictating what is in and who’s tragically out is her bread and butter, in turn keeping the trends cycle neatly ticking over.

Anna’s career is legendary in the fashion industry, spanning more than four decades. Born in London in 1949, she began her career in journalism at Harper’s & Queen before moving to New York, where she held editorial positions at Harper’s Bazaar and Viva. Her vision and ambition quickly set her apart, and she climbed the ranks to become editor-in-chief of British Vogue in 1985. Just three years later, she took over as editor-in-chief of Vogue in the United States, a role she’s famously held since 1988.

    © Getty

Her tenure transformed Vogue into a powerhouse that defines global fashion. She introduced a fresh editorial style, combining high fashion with celebrity allure and streetwear, while championing the careers of now-famous designers like Marc Jacobs and John Galliano. Beyond her work at the publication, Wintour became artistic director of Condé Nast in 2013, expanding her influence across all the company’s publications.

Known for her cool, reserved demeanour, she’s both celebrated and criticised as the ‘Ice Queen’ of fashion. Her annual Met Gala has become fashion’s most exclusive event, cementing her role as a cultural force. Through Anna’s vision, Vogue remains at the forefront, catalysing trends and shaping the industry.

To celebrate her 75th birthday, we’re taking a look back at Anna’s ten best looks to date.

Anna Wintour’s 10 most stylish outfits ever:

    Disco Mini Dress

In 1990, the Scorpio Queen served up Studio 54 glamour as she attended a New York Ballet gala at the New York State Theater. The journalist wore a glittering silver dress featuring a mini silhouette and long sleeves.

The very same year, the Vogue editor-to-be attended the Book Party for Holy Terror: Andy Warhol Close Up alongside Bianca Jagger. She glimmered in Marc Jacobs, sporting another disco-ready look hailing from the American fashion designer’s archive.

    Pink Power

    Pink Power

1990 proved to be a particularly fruitful year for Anna’s wardrobe. The London native joined John Galliano to attend the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s awards ceremony, with the writer opting for a magenta slip dress complete with floral embroidery.

One of fashion’s most eyeballed fall-outs was between the late André Leon Talley and the Vogue matriarch. Pictured together here, Anna dazzled in a lavish fur-cut cape, layered over an embroidered gown, while her then-editor-in-chief commanded attention in a gold-hued brocade evening coat.

    A Note On Camp

For the 2019 Met Gala titled ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion,’ Anna looked to Chanel’s former creative director Karl Lagerfeld to create a frothy pink look crafted from Maribou feathers, layered over a beaded floral gown. The look ended up as an homage to the designer, who passed away that year.

Anna graced the red carpet at the GQ’s Global Creativity Awards 2023 in New York City, debuting a silky look courtesy of Prada. The longline dress featured contrasting pearlescent panels, long sleeves and floral print detailing.

    Plaid Persuasion

Spotted outside the Alaia show back in July 2023, Anna let her penchant for plaid be known in a wine red and ivory checked piece. The striking number adopted her go-to silhouette, ankle-grazing with long sleeves in a print Burberry would approve of.

    Valentino Florals

Anna pre-empted this season’s captivation with burgundy hues as she graced the Valentino Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 during Paris Fashion Week in a silk floral dress. The editor loved this particular number so much she even has it in forest green. Versatility at its finest.

Sam Smith rocked the Royal Albert Hall stage for their much-awaited BBC Proms gig.

While we all knew that the BBC Concert Orchestra would be supporting Sam’s stellar headlining performance on July 2nd, there was one glittering appearance that no one was expecting.

The British star dazzled in the stunning Topaz ‘Heart of the Ocean’ necklace by Asprey. The showstopper features a 40-carat heart-shaped blue topaz pendant, surrounded by 23 carats of round brilliant diamonds, on an 18-carat white gold chain.

This iconic necklace pays tribute to the original Asprey & Garrard ‘Heart of the Ocean’, commissioned by 20th Century Fox for James Cameron’s 1997 blockbuster, Titanic. For the movie, it was crafted with gold settings and coloured glass instead of diamonds. (In 1990 Asprey and Garrard merged to form one company and then in 2002 the brands split, in case you were wondering.)

Sam Smith sparked some buzz about whether their act would be appropriate for Proms, given their flair for bold outfits and risqué performances. The 32-year-old hitmaker silenced the sceptics by performing in a custom-made Vivienne Westwood gown designed by Andreas Kronthaler.

The jaw-dropping red dress featured an asymmetric neckline, a billowing skirt, and matching red gloves. Addressing the controversy with a sartorial wink, Sam told the audience, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to get my bum out. The clothes are staying on. This is an appropriate show. Even I know there’s a time and a place.”

Sam wowed the crowd with a setlist of their biggest hits, including Unholy, Lay Me Down, Latch, and Writing’s On The Wall.

When it comes to comfort you’d be hard-pressed to find anything more comfortable than tracksuits.

A go-to during the pandemic, even Anna Wintour hung up her Prada dresses in favour of a pair of red trackies which she posted on Instagram. Underscoring the growing acceptance and normalisation of casual wear – personal comfort and individual style preferences take precedence, even among the fashion elite.

    © @voguemagazine/Instagram
Even Anna has embraced the allure of trackies

Previously, wearing tracksuit bottoms for anything other than exercise was a huge fashion faux pas. The late designer Karl Lagerfeld once sniped, “Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants.”

Luckily, there has been a huge shake-up, and tracksuit bottoms are now appearing on the catwalk, in the front row, in restaurants, and on some of the most stylish Instagram accounts. They are so versatile that they can be styled in almost any way, and they come into their own in the summer – just think of swapping your normal trousers or jeans for a pair.

Hello! Fashion shares the best ways to style trackies this summer…

    Easy tailoring:

A personal favourite of mine is pairing an oversized blazer with a matching tracksuit set; the high-low mix is a real winner. For a chic alternative, search for a more fitted top and bottom combo, and then add an oversized suit jacket slouched over the top. This creates a stylish yet relaxed look.

    Bright bags:

Accessorising your trackie botts’ with a fancy bag in bold summer hues will elevate the look for more glamorous occasions. This combination effortlessly blends comfort and chic, making it perfect for everything from a dinner date to a night out with friends. Adding statement jewellery can further enhance the outfit, ensuring you look polished and put-together, whilst enjoying ultimate comfort.

    Chunky sandals:

When it comes to styling tracksuits, the chunky grandad sandal is a winning formula

Styling tracksuits with chunky sandals over summer creates an effortless look. From mules to fisherman sandals, the options are endless and they can be worn with both wide leg or tapered styles. Statement sandals always add a bold, stylish touch. A fitted crop top or a simple tank top complements the relaxed pants, balancing the outfit. Your feet will thank you.

    Midriff reveal:

Natalia Verza’s hint of midriff transforms the humble tracksuit

A midriff reveal is incredibly chic for summer, especially when styling tracksuit trousers. Model Emily Ratajkowski epitomises track pant style; she has mastered the art so perfectly that when she says “get your midriff out,” we all take note and follow suit. Whether paired with crop tops or bralettes, showing a bit of midriff adds a stylish and modern twist to the classic tracksuit look.

    Team with a heel:

Not only will a heel upgrade the track pant look, but it will also add height and elongate the leg, creating a more flattering silhouette. Additionally, the added height from the heel can lend a sense of confidence and poise to your stride. This combination of comfort and elegance makes for a stylish yet practical outfit. Whether you choose stilettos, block heels, or wedges, this simple addition can transform your tracksuit from casual to summer chic in an instant.

    A denim jacket:

Styling tracksuit pants with a denim jacket in the warmer months creates a chic and effortless look. Choose loose or high-waisted tracksuit pants for a flattering silhouette. Pair them with a classic blue denim jacket, preferably slightly oversized for a relaxed vibe. Add a simple white shirt or graphic tee underneath to keep it casual yet stylish.

    White trainers:

Styling tracksuit pants with box-fresh white sneakers creates a sleek and trendy look for summer. Opt for tapered tracksuit pants to maintain a streamlined silhouette. Pair them with crisp, clean white trainers for a fresh, modern appeal. A tucked-in plain tee or a cropped top complements the casual vibe.

    Tomboy Femme:

We’ve all heard of athleisure, but ‘Tomboy Femme; is a hybrid TikTok trend that is new to us…and doesn’t it look great? “Think cute, quirky, girly but with a tomboy edge,” explains Hello! Fashion’s Orion Scott. According to Megan Watkins, Head Stylist at SilkFred, the Tomboy Femme phase is all about “blending masculine and feminine together to create an interesting and unique silhouette which is perfect for summer office dressing as well as casual events. Coordinated yet considered:

Styling tracksuit pants with a coordinating jacket creates a cohesive look, and it’s still an option even as the temperatures begin to rise. Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics to stay comfortable in the heat. Pair the set with a fitted crop top or tank for a balanced silhouette. Choose vibrant colors or bold prints for a standout summer ensemble. Although effortless-looking at first glance, a second look reveals a perfectly considered outfit that is comfy… and styled to perfection.
