    [ad_1]

Photos by Donnell Suggs/The Atlanta Voice

The time is here! Spooky season has officially begun, and the following are a few events that The Atlanta Voice picked out for Atlantans to enjoy during the spooky holiday season.

    1.     Bites, Booze, and Boos: Where to Eat, Drink, and Celebrate Halloween in Atlanta:

    –       Halloween isn’t just about candy and costumes; it is also a time to feast, toast, and make deliciously frightful memories. This October, Atlanta restaurants are making every effort to impress with glamorous Gatsby soirées, eerie pop-ups, rooftop masquerades, cooking classes, and arcade adventures that offer more treats than tricks.

    ·      Buckhead: It’s masks on, lights low, and music high at Gypsy Kitchen on Friday, Oct. 31, from 8-11 p.m. The Buckhead rooftop transforms into a sultry masquerade, complete with velvet-draped corners, city skyline views, and a DJ fueling the night. Guests should dress to impress for a chance to win Best Mask and stay for an evening of enchantment, escape, and revelry under the stars. Reservations are available online.

    ·      Step into the Roaring ’20s this Halloween at Gatsby at The Southern Gentleman on Friday, Oct. 31. From 7-10 p.m., guests are invited to don their most dazzling Gatsby-inspired attire—think pearls, fringe, feathers, tuxedos, and masks—for a night of dinner and drinks. Prizes await those with the best themed costumes. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made via OpenTable.

    ·      The Blind Pig Parlour Bar invites guests to plunge into the shadows at The Wicked Pig: Haunted Harbour (pictured below), an immersive Halloween pop-up open Wednesday through Sunday through Nov. 2. The Buckhead speakeasy submerges guests into a world of shipwrecked glamour and phosphorescent frights, complete with eerie undersea décor, flickering portholes, and siren songs. The Wicked Pig menu boasts spine-chilling cocktails, such as the Red Blood Moon margarita, pumpkin-spice espresso martini, and Zombie Pig, as well as themed bites, including mummy dogs, spooky deviled eggs, and caramel apple pies. Reservations are recommended through OpenTable, and walk-ins are welcome at the bar on a first-come, first-served basis.

    ·      Westside: Your 3rd Spot is turning Halloween into a full-blown celebration with Halloweek plus a third anniversary party, running from Friday, Oct. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 2. The arcade-meets-lounge transforms into a Tiki-Hallow playground with 100+ games, themed cocktails, and the haunting Treehouse of Terror photo booth.

    ·      Dunwoody: For those who prefer their thrills in the kitchen, Vino Venue is hosting a Pumpkin Fright Fest cooking and wine pairing class on Friday, Oct. 31.

    2.     Haunted Seas at the Georgia Aquarium (Oct. 3 – Nov. 2 Downtown Atlanta)

    ·      Enjoy a fully immersive Halloween experience with Haunted Seas at the Georgia Aquarium. This October the aquarium will transform with a spooky twist introducing new characters, legends, and sights. Join in to unlock the mystery.

    3.     Lincoln Memorial Cemetery Hosts Free “Trunk or Treat” – October 18

    ·      Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, in partnership with the Center Hill Neighborhood Association (CHNA), will host the Westside Trunk or Treat, a free, family-friendly Halloween celebration on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 4:30-7:30pm. The event will take place at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 2275 Joseph E. Boone Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA, offering families a sweet (and slightly spooky) night of candy, costumes, and community fun in one of Atlanta’s most historic cemeteries.

    4.     House of Slaughter Haunted House by 21 Savage: Oct. 22-31

    ·      Grammy award-winning, multi-platinum artist, and humanitarian 21 Savage, along with Slaughter Gang Entertainment and MBP Events team up for the immersive House of Slaughter coming to Atlanta. The House of Slaughter is an immersive experience where horror fans can experience a thrilling night filled with scares, screams, and surprises. Attendees must be 18 years or older or 13 accompanied by an adult.

    ·      Haunted House Hours:  6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 6 p.m. – 1 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

    ·      WHERE: Electric Owl Studios – 3963 Redan Rd. Decatur, GA 30083

    5.     Atlanta Horror in Grant Park: Festival & Haunted Trail (Oct. 24–26 & Oct. 31
    Grant Park)

    ·      This community festival blends Halloween fun with big scares. Families can enjoy food trucks, music, games, and vendors during the day, while thrill-seekers can purchase tickets for the haunted trail that runs after dark. Recommended ages: All. Location: 2275 Joseph E. Boone Blvd NW.

However, the restaurant made sure to defend themselves, saying although she didn’t take pics, she was still present at the restaurant.

Fans Spot Latto & 21 Savage Hitting Up Different Spots Amid Viral Vacay Pics

Okay, so BOOM! The secret’s out, and the receipts are here — Latto and 21 Savage finally popped out together after viral pics caught them hopping off a boat on what looked like a tropical getaway. But while the internet ate up the images, folks started dragging a dining spot in St. Vincent for allegedly tagging Latto in a photo and basically outing her for allegedly being with 21 when she didn’t appear in a pic with him.

Yup, a whole restaurant put Big Mama and Savage on blast after someone on social media called them out for tagging Latto in a pic she wasn’t even in. The restaurant quickly defended itself, though, responding with, “She was there with him too,” alongside some fire emojis.

The Internet Drags A Restaurant For Outing Latto & 21 Savage

Meanwhile, folks over in The Shade Room’s comment section called out the restaurant for exposing and airing out the two rappers. Some said tagging Latto in the pics when she didn’t even pose in them was just diabolical and wrong.

Instagram user @itstheboomshow wrote,Look. We all know they rocking, but they CLEARLY don’t want to go public. Leave them people alone.”

Instagram user @taja_jahnae wrote, So messy 😂.. she been doing so good keeping him under the radar.”

On Friday, August 29, the duo took over social media after photos showed them on vacation together. The pics show Big Mama and 21 getting off a boat and standing amongst other individuals. • Is It Giving Baecation? Latto & 21 Savage Reignite Romance Rumors In Seemingly Boo’d Up Boat Pics

    [ad_1]

First Megan Thee Stallion, now Big Mama? After years of Latto’s hints about her man, her man, her man, cameras seemingly caught her slipping with 21 Savage on vacation. And fans aren’t just here for it, they’ve BEEN here for the rumored romance.

    Source: Paras Griffin/Prince Williams

Finally?! What’s the secret to a long-lasting relationship at the top of the rap game? If this celebrity sighting is any indication, the cheat code is romantic getaways and staying out the way! Latto has been gushing and blushing about the mystery man who has her heart (and her ClayCo clappas) on lock, but never popped out with him publicly… until now. Is it giving baecation?

Latto previously warned social media sleuths to “get off them tea pages,” but IG Model Tea Room is spilling on this rare public appearence. Speculation was swirling since 2020, but neither officially confirmed the coupledom. As artists on the Atlanta scene, they regularly attend the same events but kept it strictly professional. The rappers even shared the stage during Latto’s headlining Birthday Bash performance, but a vacation sighting together? That’s a first!

The alleged celebrity couple didn’t pack on the PDA in the blurry photos but looked very cozy in the pics and clips of them stepping off a boat together.

Previously, fans suspected 21 was only visible in the literal shadows or blurry backgrounds of the “Brokey” baddie’s posts. However, they weren’t exactly keeping it a secret that they’re locked in.

Despite their denials, eagle-eyed fans clocked that Latto inked her rumored British boo’s real name (Shéyaa) behind her ear in 2023. The next year, 21 showed off his new braids and a matching tattoo of Latto’s government name (Alyssa) behind his ear. Case closed, innit?

Even though the resounding response was that “we BEEN knew,” social medida flooded with reactions to the suspected lowkey lovers.

One social media confusingly claimed that 21 is still with his wife.

The relationship status with Keyanna Joseph remains unclear, but last year she posted a photo of the “Rich Flex” rapper with their son.

What do you think of this latest chapeter in the rumored romance between Latto and 21 Savage?

  • Best and Worst Saturday Night Live Musical Performances

Best and Worst Saturday Night Live Musical Performances

    [ad_1]

Saturday Night Live is the Mecca for sketch comedy. Some of our favorite actors and comedians launched their careers at Lorne Michaels’ long-running
SNL – Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikus, Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, Kate McKinnon, Maya Rudolph, John Mulaney, Jimmy Fallon, Pete Davidson, I could go on…

And while your preferred comedians probably got their start in the writer’s room at 30 Rock, don’t forget the live musical guest. Being invited to play on
SNL is one of the biggest honors in a musician’s career.

There’s something about being on that stage that tells you about who an artist truly is…if they can sing live or not…if they have any stage presence. The
SNL musical guest’s performance is often a topic of discussion on social media – it’s a terrific venue for teasing new music, growing your following, and showing what you’re made of.

But many stars find themselves floundering on the elusive
Saturday Night Live stage. The platform has the catapult to an artist into the stratosphere…and the gig can sometimes go south and be tough to watch.

After Sabrina Carpenter’s show-stopping superstar performance, it got me thinking about the Ghosts of
SNL’s Musical Guests Past. Not every act feels like a professional, well-rounded concert.

So, while some shine and others flop, here are our picks for the Best and Worst
    SNL Musical Performances!

    WORST:

    Ice Spice

Oh, how I wanted this performance to go differently. A lot of the time, I fear Ice Spice may lack the star-quality, It Factor when it comes to live performances. This is just one of those examples.

    21 Savage

21 chanting “redrum” over and over almost had me fast-forwarding through the whole thing. If I were in the audience, his flat, monotonous performance would’ve been even more difficult to endure – despite 21’s attempt to class it up with a pair of sad ballet dancers.

    Kanye West feat. Lil Pump

This is genuinely hilarious if you don’t take it seriously. Confession: I’m smiling as I write this. It reminds me of when you’re 8 years old and you perform with your cousin for the whole family.

    Lana Del Rey

I love Lana so it hurts me to include this…but this was a tough watch. She shows signs of promise, but it’s pitchy and all over the place. Her first real performance was riddled with nerves, but thankfully Coachella was a redemption.

    Ashlee Simpson

I mean, you knew it was coming. As Ashlee lip-synced her way through her performance, disaster struck when the vocals fell out of sync. She walks off stage mid-song, but the band plays on – it’s literally like watching
The Titanic as the boat goes down.

    BEST:

    Taylor Swift

The “All Too Well (10-Minute Version)” performance will
always be iconic. In her fifth appearance on the show, Swift only performed one song and it was this 10-minute masterpiece.

    Sabrina Carpenter

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfiOn7_aJ0k

    Talk about utilizing the stage!
Finally someone makes SNL feel like a concert and not a beat poetry session. A spectacular performance all around – no notes!

    Tate McRae

Bring back popstars with dance routines! Tate McRae’s viral
SNL act was high-energy and captivating. She nails her vocals while slaying that dance number flawlessly.

    Harry Styles

There was nothing more iconic than when Harry Styles dropped “Watermelon Sugar” during his
SNL double-header. It was the first time the world heard the song, and instantaneously made it the hit song of the summer.

    Billie Eilish

    Billie’s debut album,
WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO? was critically acclaimed and shot her to super-super-superstardom. Her SNL performance solidified that she can sing on any stage and shine.

  • Mark Your Calendar: 6 Music Festivals Set to Rock 2024

Mark Your Calendar: 6 Music Festivals Set to Rock 2024

    [ad_1]

Look, concerts are great. I would love to see my entire Spotify Wrapped lineup live. And I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Harry Styles alone — judge me if you want, I don’t plan on stopping. But my wallet isn’t as enthusiastic.

That’s where the beloved music festival comes in. It’s the best opportunity to see a bunch of artists in the span of a few days. You either love them or you’re not built for them…and I fall somewhere in between.

A music festival is the equivalent of an appetizer sampler; you get to see some artists you normally wouldn’t spend money on, and you also get some of your classic favorite artists all on the same lineup. For example, I went to Firefly Music Festival to see Billie Eilish…and left loving The Killers.

Now that the weather is getting warmer and we are increasingly more open to the idea of leaving our homes, festival season is quickly approaching. Coachella, one of the world’s most famous (and potentially overrated) festivals, occurs every year in April and kicks off a slew of fun music festivals to attend.

The only issue is: how do you choose the best music festival for you? With over 50 festivals listed already this Spring and Summer 2024, it can be hard to choose. I like to check out the lineups and see which festivals have the most new artists for me to discover. Then, I take a look at where they’re happening and make my decision from there.

I’ve rounded up a few festivals happening in the US in 2024 that are both newsworthy and will get you to see the most relevant artists in the industry. Enjoy the food, the shopping, the arts, and the acts!

    M3F Fest

    Where? Phoenix, Arizona

    When? March 1-2, 2024

Who? Dominic Fike, Duke Dumont, Hippo Campus, Gorgon City, SG Lewis, Dayglow, DRAMA, and more.

What? A music festival thrown by non-profit, The M3F Fund, where 100% of proceeds go to charities like Habitat for Humanity, Phoenix Rescue Mission, Arizona Helping Hands, and more. It’s a great way to give back while having fun with your friends and family, and their lineup is always good.

    Coachella

    Coachella

    Where? Indio, California

    When? April 12-14 + 19-21, 2024

Who? Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, Doja Cat, Lil Uzi Vert, John Summit, Dom Dolla, Jon Batiste, Bleachers, No Doubt, J Balvin, and more.

What? The festival where spotting an influencer or two will be the highlight of your trip. You probably won’t make out with Timothee Chalamet, but you definitely will eat some overpriced food. However, you have to go to Coachella once in your life. This year marks the reunion of No Doubt — and perfect timing, since TikTok has revived their music for Gen Z.

    Shaky Knees Music Festival

    Shaky Knees 2024

    Where? Atlanta, Georgia

    When? May 3-5, 2024

Who? Noah Kahan, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, Young the Giant, Girl in Red, and more.

What? A great mix of indie and rock acts spread throughout the weekend. I would travel far and wide to see Noah Kahan ahead of his summer arena tour, and this is a great excuse to do so.

    Hangout Music Festival

    Hangout Fest

    Where? Gulf Shore, Alabama

    When? May 17-19, 2024

Who? Zach Bryan, Lana Del Rey, Odesza, The Chainsmokers, Cage The Elephant, Renee Rapp, Dominic Fike, Dom Dolla, and more.

What? One of the most diverse music festivals in terms of genre…Hangout Music Festival has everything- from popular EDM acts to country to pop. It’s also one of the few tour dates Lana Del Rey has right now, so go see her while you can.

    Governor’s Ball Music Festival

    Gov Ball 2024

Where? Randall’s Island, New York City

    When? June 9-11, 2024

Who? Post Malone, The Killers, 21 Savage, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA, Peso Pluma, Sexxy Red, Renee Rapp, Labrinth, Goth Babe, and more.

What? Located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Gov Ball is an iconic festival to start the summer. This year’s lineup is worth your time with festival favorites like The Killers and Post Malone, and exciting additions like Goth Babe and Sabrina Carpenter.

    Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

    Bonnaroo 2024

    Where? Manchester, Tennessee

    When? June 13-16, 2024

Who? FISHER, Post Malone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fred Again…, Maggie Rogers, Cage The Elephant, Cigarettes After Sex, Diplo, Two Friends, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lizzy McAlpine, and more.

What? Bonnaroo hosts some of the hottest musical acts in the industry year after year. This year’s lineup includes Megan Thee Stallion, Renee Rapp, T-Pain, Sean Paul, and more. I couldn’t think of anything better.

  • 21 Savage, Soulja Boy, Kai Cenat & More React To Playboi Carti Finessing $2M From Adin Ross For 6-Minute Live Stream

21 Savage, Soulja Boy, Kai Cenat & More React To Playboi Carti Finessing $2M From Adin Ross For 6-Minute Live Stream

    [ad_1]

Playboi Carti Source: Burak Cingi / Getty

After Playboi Carti finessed Adin Ross for $2M for a 6-minute live stream celebrities gave their reaction to the situation.

When it comes to the entertainment business doing anything with contracts is taking an insane amount of risk that usually doesn’t end well. In the case of Adin Ross, he was so eager to have Playboi Carti in his live stream he allegedly offered him $2M and a Ferrari for an hour appearance.

Carti was scheduled to arrive on stream after his Grammy performance with Travis Scott. He arrived hours late and then allegedly refused to come into the building. Hours after that he returned and finally came on stream standing at the back of the room before approaching the live stream. His face was covered with a mask gifted by Kanye and he said few words while on camera.

Once Adin gave him a bag of cash he appeared to count it and then leave. The entire exchange lasted a total of six minutes allegedly. A very frustrated Adin apologized to his 500k live viewers while trying to make sense of what just happened.

In the video above Soulja Boy who we assume was watching the awkward situation go down, called to check on Adin. Soulja seemed genuinely concerned and befuddled like everyone else viewing. After that Adin called 21 Savage who was unaware of the situation and said he would watch then call him back according to HipHopDX.

Less than 5 minutes later Savage called after watching the clip and couldn’t believe what he saw.

“$2 million for six minutes, bro? You paid for six minutes,” Savage asked as Adin denied that Carti was paid the full amount, to which the “No Heart” rapper countered: “I just seen you give him a bag of cash.”

Savage cut the conversation short and said they would discuss it further off-camera. Of course, once the news made its rounds to other streamers they reacted to the stream for content. Kai Cenat and Flight Reacts had the same reactions as everyone else, confusion. The overall feeling was the same, we all witnessed a robbery in real time.

You can watch the streaming world react to the heist below.

  • Too Early 2024 Grammy Predictions

    Too Early 2024 Grammy Predictions

    [ad_1]

The end of the year calls for reflection — hence our 2023 Popdust Music Awards, celebrating all of the great music we heard last year. And now, the beginning of the year indicates a time of anticipation. For that, we have our
2024 Artists to Watch, which also means that Awards Season is right around the corner.

Starting with the Golden Globes on January 7, we are about to experience countless red carpet shots, couples debuts (
still waiting for you, Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan), and teary-eyed acceptance speeches.

While there are the BAFTAs, the Emmys, the Oscars, and the SAG Awards, my speciality is music. And there is no bigger mecca for musicians than
the GRAMMY Awards. Held on February 4, 2024, and hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, the GRAMMYs are music’s biggest night.

Awards Season brings out everyone’s inner critic. Suddenly, we think we know more than the Recording Academy. Every year, there are viral moments and scandalous decisions. The Recording Academy ultimately outrages the general public in some way or another — and inevitably, fandoms will take to apps like X to become the next Joan Rivers.

It’s a delicious time of year when your favorite celebrities are forced out of hiding and into the spotlight, and we can’t wait. To get everyone in the spirit of judgment, here are
some way-too-early GRAMMY predictions for the year!

Record Of The Year: “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus

Any Kid Harpoon song is a classic, and Cyrus’ return from a brief hiatus from music was met with high marks. It was Spotify’s most streamed song in a week ever, spent time at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100, and was the fastest song in Spotify history to reach 1 billion streams.

Album Of The Year: Midnights by Taylor Swift

She’s won this coveted award three times already, and it’s impossible to discredit the year of Taylor Swift. She is on track for the highest-grossing tour of all time with the Eras Tour, Midnights is Apple Music’s biggest pop album of all time in terms of first-day streaming, and the album is the reason she was all 10 of Billboard’s Top 10 Songs (the first time all women have dominated the charts ever). Give Swift her flowers.

Song Of The Year: “A&W” by Lana Del Rey

Another Jack Antonoff production, Lana Del Rey’s album is a spiritual awakening. With an essence of transcendentalism and a hint of gospel, it’s Lana to her core. “A&W” is hailed Song of the Year by many already, and it’s time we recognize her for the artist she is, was, and always will be.

    Best New Artist: Ice Spice

I haven’t seen many people rise to the top as quickly as Ice Spice, nor have I seen someone garner such a passionate fanbase. The rapper has hits like “Deli” and collabs with rap queen Nicki Minaj on “Barbie World” and Taylor Swift on “Karma”, not to mention her Munchkin drink at Dunkin Donuts.

Producer Of The Year (Non-Classical): Jack Antonoff

Not only is Antonoff the mastermind behind many Taylor Swift albums, including Midnights, but he has Lana Del Rey’s multi-nominated album, “Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Boulevard?,” under his belt. He can’t miss, and for that, he wins.

Best Pop Solo Performance: “What Was I Made For? [From The Major Motion Picture Barbie]”

This song is stunning, productionally perfect, and sonically flawless. Billie and Finneas continue to grow as an unstoppable singer-songwriter duo who can make any song fit any moment.

Best Pop Vocal Album: GUTS by Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo wanted to have fun with her sophomore album following the immense pressure and success of her debut, SOUR. With GUTS, we had viral singles yet again that promise Rodrigo is here for the long haul.

Best Dance/Electronic Recording: “Strong” by Romy + Fred again…

Developing a cult following in the electronic music world, Fred again… is one of the hottest house dance artists in the world right now. Following a successful bout of live shows and reaching fans on almost every platform imaginable, “Strong” is a winner.

Best Pop Dance Recording: “Rush” by Troye Sivan

Troye Sivan understands how to make out-of-the-box pop music, and seals it with one hell of a dance number. He’s the embodiment of a popstar, and “Rush” was just an example of the high precedent he’s set.

Best Rock Performance: “Not Strong Enough” by boygenius

Compiled of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus, boygenius is a supergroup showing the world how to rock again. “Not Strong Enough” showcases what each member brings to the group in one sound synergy.

Best Rock Album: Starcatcher by Greta Van Fleet

Best R&B Performance: “Kill Bill” by SZA

SOS is one of the best albums of the year, and while I don’t see it winning in the Big 4 due to competitors like Swift, I still think it wins in general. “Kill Bill” was one of the biggest songs and continues to be one of the most viral.

Best Rap Performance: “Rich Flex” by Drake & 21 Savage

The saying “I like what Drake likes” holds true for many…and the collaboration album, Her Loss, with 21 Savage was one of the biggest of the year. “Rich Flex” makes sense for two of the biggest rappers out there right now.

Best Rap Album: Heroes & Villains by Metro Boomin’

Metro Boomin’ is the rapper and producer responsible for countless hits like Migos’ “Ric Flair Drip”. His Heroes & Villains album is a masterclass for high quality rap, intricate detail in production and songwriting, and straight up hits.

Social media is buzzing over 21 Savage‘s Drake-less new album American Dream featuring Metro Boomin, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Doja Cat, Burna Boy, Lil Durk, Brent Faiyaz, Summer Walker, and Mariah The Scientist sprinkled across 15 trunk-rattling tracks.

In an intriguing rollout, Savage teased the star-studded collection of featured artists by sharing their baby pics on his Instagram in the days leading up to the drop.

Prior to that, the Grammy-winning rapper surprised fans with the trailer for American Dream: The 21 Savage Story which we’re still not sure is real or just elaborate promo like that now-infamous fake Vogue cover.

Directed by Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori, and Fam Udeorji, the Tubi-esque short film depicts three generations of 21 Savage (played by Glover and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin) in the heat of a personal crisis.

    Peep the preview below:

Joining Savage in the trailer are Donald Glover, Caleb McLaughlin, Golden Globe-nominated actress Natasha Lyonne, Bel-Air star Jabari Banks, The Haunting of Hill House’s Victoria Pedretti, Beef’s Young Mazino, Fast & Furious veteran Chad Lindberg, P-Valley star Gail Bean, and the always hilarious Druski.

Additionally, Savage dropped altered American flags throughout the city of Atlanta in collaboration with creative multihyphenate and visual artist Hebru Brantley.

Instead of the traditional 50-star layout, these flags were adorned with only 21 stars.

“In creating this piece, I aimed to encapsulate the history of 21 Savage while incorporating elements of my own personal connection to his music,” said Brantley. The flag itself is black with 6 stripes, symbolizing what it means to be Black in America — it’s better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

For those with a discerning eye, my signature linework can be seen within the stripes. In those blue and red bands, there are illustrations that are deeply personal to both Savage and myself – these elements speak to what 21 stands for through his music, his experiences and the adversities he has faced.”

Are you feeling the new album? If so, what’s your fave track? Tell us down below and peep the social media hysteria over American Dream on the flip.

Travis Scott drops the video for fan favorite UTOPIA track “Utopia Twins” starring the Clermont Twins with 21 Savage & ROB49.

One of the most-anticipated albums of 2023 was Travis Scott’s UTOPIA. The album was released to mixed reactions but one thing was for certain Travis had a few bangers on the project. One of those songs featured what social media dawned as the “government-mandated 21 Savage feature“.

“Utopia Twins” was a stand-out on the first listen so it’s only right it received a visual.

The visual for the song takes us on a trip to Miami for your normal yacht riding and jet ski adventures. However, it features sets of baddies straight off your Instagram explore page. What good is a video and song about twins if it doesn’t feature the Clermont Twins? The sisters star in the visual while ROB49, 21, and Savage perform their verses with a Miami backdrop. Currently, Travis Scott is on his CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR but hopefully, more videos from UTOPIA are on the way. The other stand-out record from the album “FE!N” deserves a video are he performed the record 20 times straight in NYC.

You can watch the visual for “Utopia Twins” below.

21 Savage Says Speaking On His Friendship With Drake Would Be 'Zesty As Hell'

While talking with Rolling Stone 21 Savage avoids opening up on his friendship with Drake because it would be “Zesty as hell”.

A year ago 21 Savage and Drake teamed up for one of the most played albums in recent times, HER LOSS. Since then the two have toured city to city performing sold-out shows in what feels like a full circle moment from their first collaboration “Sneakin”.

Recently 21 Savage returned to the United Kingdom for the first time in his adult life. Of course, this moment didn’t come easy and followed an extensive immigration battle that began in 2019.

According to Rolling Stone, 21 Savage is free to see the world and will talk about everything that led to the moment, except his friendship with Drake.

“I feel like describing male friendships is zesty as hell,” 21 said to Rolling Stone prompting the interviewer to bring up “unneeded parameters” had been placed around men expressing their feelings.

“It’s needed,” Savage responded. “That’s what separates men from women.” The conversation then turned to 21 elaborating further on position, saying, ultimately, he believes “the man supposed to be one way and the woman supposed to be one way.”

Regardless if he discusses their friendship we can tell it’s serving both very well and keeping the bills paid in several offices. At this point in their careers, they do not have to partake in anything they don’t enjoy. The music and working relationship between the two seems natural and organic in a time when everything is forced. If we are lucky hopefully we continue to get great music out of the situation.

  • Concerts To See This Summer 2023

Concerts To See This Summer 2023

    [ad_1]

We are quickly approaching the summer, which means people are already filling their calendars with weekend trips and outdoor plans. Outdoor concert venues are re-opening for the season, and tickets are quickly selling out. Plus, the rolling lineup of music festivals keeps growing — my budget can barely keep up.

I’m always down for live music. I will go anywhere where there’s a live band, even if they’re just performing covers at a bar. Sometimes, my passion for live music leads to the greatest nights of my life — like my residency at Harry’s House at Madison Square Garden. Other times, it’s a cautionary tale — like my Coachella experience… enough said.

So you can imagine my unbridled excitement when my favorite artists embark on world tours in the summer. Needless to say, I’m ready, willing, and able to go broke.

I am always stuck in some Ticketmaster queue lamenting, every decision I’ve made up until that point. If I am allowed to buy tickets after sometimes an hour of waiting in that treacherous line, I’m almost obliged to buy one.

Maybe it’s the constant stream of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour content I’m getting on my social media. Or the looming Beyonce Renaissance tour that will soon compete with Taylor’s. Or all of this chatter about Morgan Wallen canceling his shows for vocal rest.

No matter what, I’m itching to hear some live music. If you can tell, I’m planning on attending as many concerts as humanly possible (wallet permitting). And if you’re reading this, you’re probably thinking about the same.

It may be difficult to keep track of all of these tours happening at once — especially during the summer when you want to shut off your brain instead of planning anything. So, here is a list of which tours to look out for this summer. All you have to do is brave the Ticketmaster queue. Good luck to us all.

The Jonas Brothers – The Tour

The Jo-Bros are going on tour Eras- style…playing their new music from their new album, The Album, along with classics from each of their beloved past albums. Despite the fact that we have seen Kevin, Joe, and Nick grow up in front of our very eyes…we’re eager to be plunged back into our Disney Channel-era selves the moment Burnin’ Up comes on.

    Blink-182 –  2023 Tour

Following their first on-stage reunion at 2023 Coachella, Blink-182 is coming back to a stage near you. Nothing feels better than bringing back that early 2000s angst with some vintage Blink, and they’ve proven they’re still the same rock band we know and love. Travis Barker is still playing the drums sans shirt — just this time, he’s married to Kourtney Kardashian. How time flies.

    Ed Sheeran – Mathematics Tour

Fans went crazy when Ed Sheeran released Subtract, the final mathematics-themed album of his discography. With a brand new documentary, Sheeran is red hot coming into the 2023 summer.

Top that off with his Mathematics Tour, which has opening acts like the lovely Khalid, and viral videos of him jumping on top of cars to serenade surprised New Yorkers. He’s known for putting on one of the best concerts you can attend, and it’s worth the money every time.

Zac Brown Band – From The Fire Tour

So Morgan Wallen canceled a few shows and everyone’s wondering what to do now. One of the most classic, fun country concerts you can go to is ZBB. They’ve created hit after country hit, toured stadiums across the country, and are ready to go back at it.

    Beyonce – Renaissance World Tour

If you could be so lucky to get tickets to the Renaissance Tour, then you need to go see one of the best in the business do her thing. She’s got powerhouse vocals and choreography, lights, and backup dancers — it’s an entire production. Seeing Queen Bey reminds you how live performances can completely change the way a song sounds to you.

    Drake & 21 Savage  – It’s All A Blur Tour

One of the hottest tickets in town this summer is Drake and 21 Savage’s tour. Tickets sold out in mere minutes to hear the duo perform their album, Her Loss. It’s guaranteed to be rap’s biggest concert of the year, with two of the biggest artists in their genre taking the stage together.

Drake And 21 Savage Tour Tickets Cost More Than Beyoncé’s — And Twitter Is Losing It

    [ad_1]

Drake and 21 Savage are in the hot seat with Twitter users over the “outrageous” ticket prices for their upcoming tour following their successful “Her Loss” album.

On Wednesday, the Grammy winner announced the highly anticipated “It’s All a Blur” tour on Instagram via a documentary-style trailer. Drake hasn’t been on tour since 2018, so naturally, fans rapidly flocked to the Ticketmaster site to snag seats before they sold out.

Cash App card holders scored early access to purchase pre-sale tickets on Wednesday. However, it didn’t take long for fans to head to Twitter to bash the exorbitant prices.

The complaints come amid recent allegations over Ticketmaster’s unfair business practices after bots disrupted ticket sales for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in November.

Many Twitter users also scoffed at Drake’s ticket prices surpassing the cost of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour.

On the other hand, some fans didn’t seem to mind the sky-high price of admission.

In November, the rap duo again found themselves in trouble after being sued by Vogue’s publisher Condé Nast. The lawsuit alleges that the musicians used the fashion magazine’s name without permission to promote “Her Loss.”

The lawsuit claimed the rappers’ promotional campaign, which used a fake Vogue cover story to boost the album to their more than 135 million social media followers, violated intellectual property laws and misled fans, according to reports.

The musical pair are set to make tour stops in 21 cities starting on June 16 in New Orleans before the tour’s finale in Glendale, Arizona, on Sept. 5. General public ticket sales for the “It’s All a Blur” tour are set to start Friday.

  • New this week: ‘White Noise,’ 21 Savage and Kennedy Honors

New this week: ‘White Noise,’ 21 Savage and Kennedy Honors

    [ad_1]

Here’s a collection curated by The Associated Press’ entertainment journalists of what’s arriving on TV, streaming services and music platforms this week.

    MOVIES

    — Don DeLillo’s 1985 novel “White Noise” has long been said to be “unfilmable.” But Noah Baumbach’s energetic movie, streaming Friday on Netflix, makes a spirited argument for its adaptation. In Baumbach’s “White Noise,” Adam Driver stars as Jack Gladney, a college professor with a teeming suburban family (Greta Gerwig co-stars as his wife, Babette). When an “airborne toxic event” consumes their town and sends residents fleeing, a new fear of death pierces Jack’s middle-class existence. In my review, I praised the film’s “giddy gloom” and wholehearted embrace of the book’s dizzying, dense intensity. Be sure to stay for the LCD Soundsystem-soundtracked supermarket dance finale.

    — For some, New Year’s Eve was made for movie nights. And to ring in the new year, Turner Classic Movies is programming a festive run of the beloved, martini-swilling detectives Nick and Nora Charles. Beginning at 8 p.m. EST on Saturday, TCM will run a minimarathon of 1934′s “The Thin Man,” 1936′s “After the Thin Man” and 1939′s “Another Thin Man.” As the sophisticated husband-and-wife murder-solving team, William Powell and Myrna Loy remain delightfully fizzy company to cheers with.

    — AP Film Writer Jake Coyle

    MUSIC

    — It’s the number one movie in the land so it makes sense it should be something you’re also listening to. The 22-track soundtrack for “Avatar: The Way of Water” includes the original song “Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” written and performed by The Weeknd, and “The Songcord,” performed by star Zoë Saldana. The soundtrack is by Grammy Award-winning composer Simon Franglen, who worked with composer James Horner on the original “Avatar” film and picked up where Horner left off following his 2015 death. For super-fans, there’s also a new release — “Avatar: The Way of Water (Original Score)” — that includes 11 additional score cues from the film not available on the soundtrack.

    — 21 Savage is the final performer for the 2022 season of Amazon Music Live. Streaming live on Thursday night and hosted by hip-hop star 2 Chainz, the new weekly concert series has featured some of the hottest musical acts, like A$AP Rocky, Anitta, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Wayne and Kane Brown. 21 Savage’s concert is expected to include cuts from “Her Loss,” his collaborative album with Drake.

    — Some Broadway royalty — including Christopher Jackson, Mandy Gonzalez and Joaquina Kalukango — are part of the third annual national PBS concert, “United in Song” alongside Grammy-winning singer Renée Fleming. The special also features Natalie Grant, Matt Doyle, Brett Young and more with the American Pops Orchestra as well as a newly commissioned performance by New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck and soloist Roman Mejia. The special premieres Saturday on PBS, PBS.org, and the PBS Video App.

    TELEVISION

    — CBS will air the 45th annual Kennedy Center Honors, which this year recognized actor George Clooney, the band U2, singers Gladys Knight and Amy Grant and composer Tania León. The Kennedy Center Honors is a lifetime achievement award given to performers for their impact on American culture through the arts. The event was filmed in early December and presenter Julia Roberts wore a custom dress featuring prints of various photos of her good pal Clooney. The Kennedy Center Honors show broadcasts Wednesday night.

    — The long-running, feel-good British series “Call the Midwife” premiered its annual Christmas-themed episode this past Sunday on PBS. “Call the Midwife” follows a group of midwives and nuns in east London. Although it takes place in the 1950’s and 1960’s, the series tackles important subjects including infertility, racism, and unwanted pregnancies. “Call the Midwife” is based on a memoir by Jennifer Worth and is narrated by Vanessa Redgrave. Season 12 debuts in March on PBS.

Drake Just Went On A Hentai Barrage On Instagram

    [ad_1]

Drake, the rapper, looks at his phone during an NBA game.

Drake on his phone, maybe posting porn?
    Photo: Cole Bursto (Getty Images)

Hello, welcome to the end of the week. I’m here to send you off into the night with the news that rapper Drake has posted a bunch of anime porn, aka hentai on his main Instagram account. The account has 124M followers, for the record, which is more than the entirety of Crunchyroll’s viewership in 2021. The porn is seemingly part of his marketing push for his new album “Her Loss.” Just one more thing the rapper has done recently that’s caught the eyes of the internet and made a lot of folks stop and go “…What? Why?”

Let’s take a quick detour before we hop straight into the hentai posting to provide some context. Today, Drake released a new collaborative album with 21 Savage. To help promote Her Loss, the new record, Drake and 21 Savage have been on a wild whirlwind marketing blitz complete with a fake promo for a non-existent NPR Tiny Desk Concert starring the duo and a completely fabricated Vogue cover. Weird stuff! But last night, Drake decided to take his marketing of Her Loss to a whole new level, and uh…just posted straight-up anime porn on his main, official Instagram.

As of 6:15 EST p.m. the photos are still up on his Instagram story. He posted four different hentai images last night accompanied with various English captions, including “Mood at midnight” and “Goodbye my dear husband.” Enough posts, in other words, that the porn doesn’t seem to be a mistake from a random image he found or something. Here is a censored look at the images:

An image collage that shows four different pieces of censored anime porn.

If you want to see the fully uncensored pics, click here, but just know that they are full-on hentai screenshots. So if you are at work or around prudish family members, be careful.

The album hasn’t been out long, but it’s led to some controversy involving Megan Thee Stallion. In one song on the album, Drake seemingly references a reported 2020 shooting involving Stallion and Canadian rapper, Tory Lanez. Allegedly, Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion’s feet when she tried to walk away from an argument. In the song, Circo Loco, Drake appears to reference this event when he raps, “This bitch lie ’bout getting shots but she still a stallion.”

Megan Thee Stallion, another known anime connoisseur, has since commented about the song and its lyrics, tweeting: “Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass n—-! Since when tf is it cool to joke about abt women getting shot!”
