This two-hour parade will feature colorful floats, balloons, marching bands, and both historic and modern Navy and Marine Corps vehicles. The parade will salute the people who serve and those on the path to joining branches of the military, including Naval Academy midshipmen, ROTC, NROTC, and JROTC students, and Sea Cadets.
Grab a spot along the route and watch as generations of service members, cadets, and community organizations bring our sea service story to life.
The event is free and open to the public.
There have been a number of ceremonies, including a wreath-laying at the gravesite of Commodore John Barry, in Society Hill. He is regarded as the father of the U.S. Navy.
