Ousted ABC News co-anchor of GMA3: What You Need to Know T.J. Holmes recently revealed some very conflicted feelings following the network’s show to him the door, that is, to the Holmes himself, anger over procedure/filed him and his co-host and, uh, girlfriend, Amy Robach. After all, such a man as T.J. Holmes was recorded by the latest news on June 10, when his podcast “Amy & T.J.” was aired live in New York City.
Holmes, 46, explained that it took a bit of time and perspective for him to be grateful ABC News saw their talents and put them together to host GMA3. He said, “We want to shout- out to ABC News. We were seriously ticked off at them for quite a while, but over time and with a fresh perspective, we are able now to see that what they saw in us – putting us together in the first place – led us in the end to a better place in terms of our health and happiness. We’re happier now than ever in our adult lives.”
This public relationship between the two, being in 2022, made the media have a wild and royal jolt, thus meaning the network suspended them. Although their kind of relationship does not violate ABC’s policy, ABC News felt it was creating an internal and external disturbance and entered into a relationship with them only in January 2023.
Though they kicked off the year, boiling inside of them and their professional lives too received a sucker punch. Fast Forward to the present, and Robach and Holmes have stupidly emerged out of it much more robust and more thankful for their journey. They even made their red carpet debut as a couple at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball 2023 just last month Monday after launching their podcast “Amy & T. J.”.
On the premiere episode of their podcast, Holmes reflected, “Amy and T.J., best said simply as two people who lost jobs we loved because we were in love with one another.” Robach, who initially was less in favor of going public with the relationship, added: “Relationships are messy and complicated. We have been through quite the year since our time at GMA, but I can honestly say I am now my happiest. I’m with my best friend.”
Well, according to Holmes, he is satisfied with how the consultation went: “I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve been in a long time. I’m in love with this woman, and she loves me in return. We’re planning a future together.” And about marriage, they indeed spoke about it, but they don’t have a fixed date to do it just yet.

Despite the odds that may have been stacked against them, Holmes and Robach discovered new opportunities to help them show the world what they could do. They are executive produce and host their podcast and dueled out for a series of new features with hear podcasts. Meaningful Conversations brings all of those elements together—”from pop culture to world events and even their successes and failures,” and it has already commanded some big gets, including Gavin Rossdale, Larsa Pippen, Rachel Platten, and Lisa Niemi Swayze to name a few.
It is all along their journey that Holmes and Robach have extended thanks to their families, friends, and well-wishers. During the event on June 10, Holmes said, “We’re grateful for the path that led us here in front of you. When something special comes along in life – maybe it’s love – but when it’s right there in front of you, life is too short. You’ve got to go for it.”
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have proven that love can conquer even the most challenging circumstances. Their story is a testament to resilience, gratitude, and the pursuit.
