(KRON) — Two men face attempted murder charges after three men were shot near Todos Santos Plaza in Concord on Sept. 16, the Concord Police Department announced Saturday.
The victims were shot in a municipal parking garage on the 2000 block Salvio Street that night, police say. Concord PD officers were called to John Muir Concord Medical Center around 10:20 p.m., when the three victims were driven to the hospital by friends.
“Patrol officers responded and descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle were developed,” Concord PD said. “These descriptions were shared with area law enforcement agencies. Just over an hour later, deputies from the Contra Costa County [Sheriff’s Office] located the suspect vehicle.”

The vehicle was pulled over and two people were arrested in connection to the shooting. At about 6:30 p.m. the following night, a third suspect was arrested for the shooting.
“During [Wednesday’s] arrest and subsequent search, evidence related to the shooting was found,” Concord PD said.
On Friday, the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against two of the suspects. Thirty-one-year-old Bay Point man Justino Lopez-Perez was charged with attempted murder, conspiracy, discharging a gun from a vehicle, assault with a gun and additional crimes.
