Suspected carjacker leads police on multi-freeway pursuit

A suspected carjacker led the California Highway Patrol on a pursuit, making their way through multiple freeways.

CHP followed the driver through Interstate 110 at average speeds.

The chase ended on the 405 Freeway near the Springdale Street exit in Westminister after police deployed a spike strip on the exit, deflating the truck’s right front tire.

The driver was in a black Toyota Tundra.

Police arrested the man after exiting the vehicle.
