Suspect throws ‘flammable object’ through window of Chicago home, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are investigating after someone threw a “flammable object” into a home on Christmas morning.

Police said they responded to call at about 5 a.m. in the 4600-block of S. Drexel Boulevard in the Bronzeville neighborhood.

A 43-year-old man was inside a home when somebody approached and threw a “flammable object” through the front window.

The victim was able to put the fire out; no injuries were reported.

Chicago police said the suspect ran off. Nobody is in custody.
